  • EDUCATION FOR MENTALLY RETARDED CHILDREN IN A FAMILY WITH AN ISLAMIC
           EDUCATION PERSPECTIVE

    • Authors: Elly Damaiwati, Kumaidi Kumaidi, Musa Asy’arie
      First page: 185
Abstract: Mental retardation is a condition of children whose intelligence is far below the average and is characterized by limited intelligence and incompetence in social communication. Islam views children with mental retardation as entities that must be considered for several strong reasons. The most basic is in the name of humanity. One fact that cannot be forgotten is that they are both creatures of God who must be respected. Moreover, the mentally retarded child is also a human being glorified by God. Mentally retarded children also have the same degree and social status as normal children, so in Islamic education, there should be no inequality in obtaining the right to education. This study aims to determine that the family is the most important factor in the education of mentally retarded children. This research is naturalistic qualitative. Documentation, observation, and interviews are the methods used to collect data. The data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of this study indicate that the family becomes a model and habituation of good behavior in everyday life as a positive strategy for the education of mentally retarded children, The family also applies several pillars, one of which is the aspect of faith, the aspect of worship and the moral aspect as the basis for educating their children.

  • THE EFFECT OF GLOBALIZATION ON THE DETERMINATION OF ISLAMIC LAW AS THE
BASIS OF THE STATE IN INDONESIA: Analysis of the thoughts of KH. Abdul
Wahid Hasyim and Ki Bagus Hadikusumo about the implementation of Islamic
           law in Indonesia

    • Authors: Suciyani Suciyani
      First page: 219
Abstract: Globalization, Islamic law, Islamic figures. Nationalist figures who are considered not to represent Muslims in the formulation of Pancasila as the state ideology. The categorization of the dominance of power and thought becomes a problem among Muslims. The discourse of Islamic leaders in the formulation of Pancasila, such as ideas and concepts and their correlation with power and politics at that time. The existence of globalization is the cause and root of the problem of the classification of Islamic nationalists and secular nationalists. In the discourse theory of Michel Foucault and the paradigm theory of the characteristics of Islamic thought, the facts behind the discourses of Islamic figures are inseparable from historical factors. The writings of Islamic figures involved in the formulation of Pancasila were heavily influenced. This study only takes two Islamic figures as the focus of the study. These two great figures are the key to the determination of Pancasila, namely KH. Abdul Wahid Hasyim and Ki Bagus Hadikusumo. The involvement of Islamic leaders in the formulation of Pancasila is the impact of power. Islamic figures have a cultural role behind the scenes, because of the concept of the dichotomy of Islamic culture in Indonesia. Islam is seen as Knowledge rather than power or politics. The mention of secular nationalists and Islamic nationalists is based on ideas, not power. The discourse of Islamic figures in the formulation of the basic state is a political compromise regarding Islamic identity and Islam as values. The existence of a struggle for ideas or thoughts instead of a power struggle among Islamic leaders is mostly driven by the pressure of global political conditions. The result of the formulation of Pancasila puts forward the unity of Indonesia. The discourse of Islamic figures originated from different thoughts. The existence of the current Islamic law enforcement movement is due to the desire to power not based on Islamic scholarship.

  • REVIEW OF ISLAMIC LAW ON LULONGGANDA RITUAL CUSTOMS IN POST-HARVEST
PROCESSION IN BENUA SUBDISTRICT OF SOUTH KONAWE REGENCY

    • Authors: A r m a n A r m a n
      First page: 281
Abstract: The lulongganda ritual is usually carried out by the people of Benua Village, this custom is an event that is carried out when the community has carried out the harvest and is about to open new land, then the community performs this ritual as a form of expression of prayer requests as well as their form of gratitude regarding the abundant harvest and without any disturbance, thanks to the implementation of the lulongganda ritual activity. In the implementation of the traditional lulongganda ritual, there are still many implementations that must be studied in Islamic law, therefore if we do something, it cannot be separated from the guidance and instructions that exist and are justified according to Islam, because religion is not a tool, but completely Religion does not oppose custom, as long as it does not conflict with the principles that have been justified by religion. The method used in this research is qualitative research using data collection methods, namely the observation method, interview method, and documentation method, then the type of research is field research. The results of this research reveal two things in the implementation process which are divided into two types, the implementation is by Islamic law and which is not by Islamic law, while the implementation is by Islamic law, namely: efforts to preserve the traditional lulongganda ritual, the lulo movement which has philosophical meaning in farming, preserving traditional arts and sports. While the implementation is not by Islamic law, namely: community expectations for the implementation of the lulongganda ritual, the implementation of mombaka okanda, the implementation of mosehe ndiolu.
