  • Jihad Global

    • Authors: Ahmad Khoirul Fata, Muh. Khamdan
      Pages: 205 - 226
Abstract: Abstrak: Radikalisme atas nama Islam kembali marak di Dunia Islam kontemporer. Abstract: Radicalism in the name of Islam is re-emerging in the contemporary Islamic world. This movement manifested in various acts of violence and resistance against “enemies of Islam”. Political, economic, and global injustice factors wrapped in religious sentiments are the driving forces for the revival of this movement. With ideology of "jihad", they spread their understanding to various parts of the world, including Indonesia. With a socio-political approach, this study aims to examine the ideology of the Global Jihad movement, its influence, and its network in Indonesia. From this study, it can be seen that the Global Jihad movement is closely related to the Islamic reform movement which is a response to the decline of the Islamic world in dealing with the West. The development of this idea by Sayyid Qutb made the reform movement not only as an autocritic of the condition of the ummah, but also hardened into an ideology of resistance to a system that is considered oppressive. This ideology of resistance then inspired various extreme movements in post-reform Indonesia.

Abstract: Abstract This paper aims to explain the qashash al-Qur'an about Prophet Ayyub (Job) in his fortitude and patience to face the examination, then take lessons and ibrah for the current social context, where the world community, especially Muslims, is experiencing an examination in the form of the arrival of the Covid 19 outbreak. This paper is the result of the library research with the title "Qashash al-Qur'an: The Study of the Prophet Job's Dua in Surah al-Anbiya 83-84 and Its Contextualization in the Pandemic Period". This article tries to provide an overview of the qashash al-Qur'an on the theme of the Prophet Ayyub with a descriptive-analytical method. So that the good values from an ancient story can be reflected or contextualized into the current condition as material for reflection, lessons, and examples. Based on the author's analysis, the study material is presented in the prayer of Prophet Ayyub which refers to Surah al-Anbiya verses 83-84, so that an understanding of the interpretation of the verse is found, then narrates how the attitude and faith of Prophet Ayyub did not waver despite problems, but he increases his sense of patience, always in gratitude and has a good attitude towards Allah SWT in whatever circumstances.

    • Authors: Halya Millati, Mohammad Arif
      Pages: 249 - 268
Abstract: Abstract The theological debate between Jabbariyyah (pre-destination) and Qadariyyah (free will) was polarized during the Covid-19 pandemic. Some Muslims tend to be fatalists (pre-destination), and the others believe in free will on the face of this pandemic. Of course, this is not in line with the moderate principles that Islam brings. Because, in various texts of the Quran, Allah command to balance the welfare of duniawi and hereafter (ukhrawi) life. Among these texts is what Allah said in Surah Al-Qashash verse 77 regarding the command to seek the afterlife and not forgetting sustenance in the world. With the ma'na-cum-maghza approach, this paper answers the significance of the current meaning of the commandment. There are three important points to reveal. The first, al-ma'na al-ta rikhi (historical meaning) of the verse, including advice to Qarun to seek the afterlife's reward without ignorance of the world, good doing, and prohibition of destroying the earth. The second, al-maghza al-tarikhi (the significance of historical phenomena), namely the message to Quraish community to take the middle path by following the Prophet's preaching and still pay attention to the life of the world, and to help others when possible. The third, al-maghza al-mu'as}ir (dynamic significance), namely the principle of the balance of life in the world and the hereafter. Keywords: balancing life; ma'na cum-maghza; Al-Qashash verse 77.

Abstract: This article discusses the story of the Prophet Joseph in the Qur'an. As the story of the Qur'an and the Bible, the story of the Prophet Joseph is very important to find out the difference between the two. Therefore, the approach used is intertextual initiated by Julia Kristeva who seeks to compare the two. By using this approach. There are a lot of differences. In terms of the structure of the Qur'an many simplifications, so the principle of haplology becomes dominant in every fragment. The most fundamental difference between the two is in terms of the theme to be raised, the story of the Prophet Joseph in the Qur'an is themed around the teachings of tawhid, while in the Bible themed power. Keywords: Prophet Joseph, al-Qur'an, Intertextual   Abstrak Artikel ini membahas tentang kisah Nabi Yusuf dalam al-Qur’an. Abstract: Historically, it can be seen that the Islamic world has reached its heyday, this is marked by the rise of science and philosophy. In the next period Islam experienced a period of decline or did not develop, many factors that influenced this, one of which was the dichotomy in science. The dichotomy is the separation between religious knowledge and general science. This separation advances general knowledge and puts aside religious knowledge. In another situation came the notion of secularism which increasingly gave birth to religious knowledge. Secularism assumes that religion is an obstacle to progress, so they separate themselves from religion in an effort to develop science. In the next period, the ideology of secularism achieved success in science. Meanwhile, Muslims are just beginning to realize the necessity to rise again, but in this effort, what is presented to them is the ideology of secularism which they consider to be incompatible with the teachings of Muslims. So that the Islamic leaders emerged who made efforts to integrate knowledge or what could be called the Islamization of science, this aims so that western science can be consumed by Muslims whose ending is to realize the goals of Islam. Islam does not consider there is a difference between religious knowledge and general knowledge. both must go hand in hand, this is proven that in the Qur'an there are many verses that explain natural phenomena, that means there is an order to conduct studies with tools to prove knowledge that comes from revelation, while making tools is included in the realm of general science. Keywords: dichotomy, secularism, and integration or Islamization of knowledge   Abstrak Secara historis dapat diketahui bahwa dunia Islam Pernah menggapai masa kejayaan, hal ini ditandai dengan maraknya ilmu pengetahuan dan filsafat.

Abstract: Problems that are often experienced by mothers giving birth are anxiety and fear of pain, so giving birth to children becomes a frightening specter because they doubt the safety of the baby and himself. To relieve this anxiety, it can be done by means of pharmacology and non-pharmacology or therapy. One way of therapy is with murattal al-Qur'an, as a form of Living Quran to accompany childbirth. The purpose of this study was to determine the understanding brought by the mother giving birth when the chanting of the Qur'an was heard accompanying the delivery process. This is a type of field research with a qualitative research approach, located at PMB Nina Yunita in Gandu Village, Kec. Mlarak, Ponorogo Regency. Data collection methods used in this research are observation, interviews and documentation. The result of this research is the influence of an understanding of the Qur'an by a living Qur'an actor, namely the opinion that the Qur'an is a book of guidance, a book of instructions, with which it can be seen what is right and what is wrong, as well as to regulate actions. humans to their creators, so that with a good understanding of the Qur'an it brings a feeling of relaxation and comfort when heard, then provides convenience in the delivery process and becomes the key to safety for mothers and babies during childbirth. Abstract: Violence in the name of religion seems to be being carried out by all groups of Indonesian society. Even in some cases, there are strong nuances to amplify the desecration. Religion that is not inclusive with one-sided truth claims still shows its existence which is quite strong among religious people, especially Muslims. They consider their religious understanding to be an undeniable truth, and is considered a definite reflection of the source of religious teachings. This brings religious people to a life where conflicts often occur between fellow human beings, both fellow believers of same religion but different sects, as well as fellow believers of different religions. In addition, understanding this model will make religious people fall into an extreme religious understanding. Religion is understood as dead dogmas and only deals with the problems of the hereafter and divinity so that it does not have the ability to provide pleasant solutions in solving human problems that are manifested in today's life. This article tries to analyze the problems above by using a philosophy of law approach so that the reader is able to see the problem with an objective view without losing common sense. Keywords: Religious Violence, Indonesia, The Philosophy of Law.

Abstract: death. Its highly contagious nature makes this disease difficult to treat. This condition forces everyone to rely on their own body’s immune system to survive. However, the negative perspective on the body, that is as an object, often makes people fall into panic, so that it can be fatal. Thus, this article was written in context to give a reflective meaning to the body with the philosophical investigation. The body itself is a facticity for "being" together with the soul (mind) and spirit. By understanding the body as the subject’s mode of existence, that is as being-in-the-world, humans can prepare themselves for any eventuality that may occur, including death.
