  • Reconstruction Of Civilized Meaning In Pancasila: Analysis Study Of Naquib
           Al-Attas Thought

    • Authors: Sufratman Sufratman, Emeretus Terry Lovat, Asep Awaludin
      Pages: 1 - 26
Abstract: Indonesia has long made Pancasila an ideal as well as a way of life for the nation and state. But in fact, the phenomenon that has emerged among the community is actually the opposite, it can even be said it moves away from the spirit of Pancasila itself. This problem arises because of a mistake in understanding the concept of civilized, thus causing a loss of adab in the Indonesian people and nation. This research is a library research, using descriptive method. The results of the study found that the concept of adab Naqib al-Attas comes from the Islamic worldview, which means discipline of the spirit, mind, and soul. According to him, the three foundations of this civilized building must receive serious guidance through the ta'dib process. The goal is to produce attitudes and behaviours that reflect justice and wisdom, where someone is able to put things in their place. For this reason, the values of Pancasila, especially the civilized concept as ideals as well as a view of life for the nation and state, which conditions are Islamic values must be understood based on the Islamic worldview, in the context of realizing a just and civilized society.

           Islamic Studies

    • Authors: Rizal Gani Kaharudin, Ita Rodiah, Mohd Shahril Bin Ahmad Razimi, Moh. Mukri
      Pages: 27 - 52
Abstract: Obtaining knowledge is the right of every human being to be able to bring a better and prosperous life. Humans as Muslims seek knowledge to be an important part and Islam also does not limit useful knowledge. To stay within the corridor of religiously useful knowledge such as Islamic Studies also requires a broad perspective through cross-study reviews. Construction of Islamic Studies can discuss many issues of life in terms of other scientific studies that support or can be referred to as Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies. This article is intended to find out the nature of Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies in terms of the philosophy of science. The study method used is through literature study, data collection based on literature such as books and journals. The results of the study reveal that Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies provides space for humans to overcome the complexities of existing human life problems, because these problems are not only solved based on one field of study. Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies builds a harmonious relationship between Islamic Studies and Science. The relationship between the two needs to be done to contribute to the good of both of them, so that this study can produce comprehensive and moral knowledge.

  • Religion and State in the Islamic Political Paradigm in Indonesia
           Perspective of Prof. Kamsi

    • Authors: Suud Sarim Karimullah
      Pages: 53 - 74
Abstract: The relationship between religion and the state has always been an actual problem in the discourse of Islamic political thought. This paper aims to describe the relationship between religion and the state in Indonesia with a focus on studying the Islamic political paradigm in the view of Prof. Kamsi, who is one of the professors in the study of Islamic law politics at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. Then, library research with analytical descriptive nature is used in this research by conducting a descriptive study that aims to provide answers to various problems regarding the state of a particular subject or object in detail. Then, various data that have been obtained are analyzed and interpreted to get an adequate explanatory meaning. Furthermore, this study states that in the view of Prof. Kamsi. In general, the pattern of relations between religion and the state is not just a pattern of dichotomous relations that cancel each other out. However, the relationship between religion and the state must be harmoniously and proportionally established. This is intended so that the thinking process of Muslims will not be disturbed by the development of a country that is pioneering and building a better and functioning state order for the long term.

  • Criticism of Reason against the Blasphemy of Ijma as a Source of Islamic

    • Authors: Moh. Bahrudin, Faisal Faisal, Hanif Hanif
      Pages: 75 - 94
Abstract: The study and critique of reasoning against the blasphemy of ijmak aims to place the position of ijmak proportionally and rationally, in accordance with the initial objectives of the ijmak theory formulated in the early days of Islam so that there are no misperceptions about the blasphemy of ijmak. Indeed, ijmak as a source of Islamic law requires the existence of evidence based on the Qur'an and Hadith, it cannot stand alone independently. However, furthermore, ijmak only becomes a support for the status quo of the fiqh laws produced by the cleric contained in fiqh books. This research is intended to look at the blasphemy of ijmak as a source of Islamic law. The method used is descriptive method. Conclusions are drawn by using deductive thinking. Research shows that ijmak can be used as evidence, has validity and authority, although it still requires evidence from the Qur'an or Sunnah. Not all ijmak is qath'i and therefore not all ijmak must be followed. The blasphemy quality of ijmak is qath'i if it is supported by texts that are qath'i or related to matters that are 'ulima min al-din bi al-dharurah. The quality of ijmak is zhanni if it is only supported by zhanni's argument or in matters for which there is no explicit text in the syarak text.

  • The Problem of Religious Freedom In the Practice of Amar Ma'ruf Nahi

    • Authors: Mohamad Latief, Ahmad Rizqon, Amir Reza Kusuma, Syaikhul Kubro
      Pages: 95 - 110
Abstract: The issue of religious freedom continues to grow. A number of figures and institutions are constantly campaigning for religious freedom to every level of society. This effort emerged after the right of religious freedom seems to have been misinterpreted by attitudes that were considered intolerant and did not respect differences. This writing is quite interesting to study, due to the strong assumption that everyone has the freedom to embrace religion and worship according to his religion, and everyone is free to believe in beliefs, express thoughts and attitudes, according to his conscience. This study is a literature review, the method used is descriptive method, and conclusions are drawn by using deductive thinking. The result of this study is that religion gives freedom to anyone to choose between religion or even being an atheist. The practice of amar ma'ruf nahi munkar is a religious order and does not violate religious freedom. Islam does not force someone to embrace a certain religion, but Islam obliges every Muslim to convey goodness, invites to the truth, and avoids disgraceful actions, such as Habib Abdullah's theory which says that the great symbol of religion is amar ma'ruf nahi munkar.

  • Problems With the Implementation of Qanun Aceh Number 6 of 2014 Concerning
           Jinayat Law

    • Authors: Hudzaifah Achmad Qotadah, Ali Abdul Wakhid, Is Susanto
      Pages: 111 - 132
Abstract: Aceh as part of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia has special privileges and autonomy, one of which is the authority to implement Islamic sharia, and Qanun Aceh Number 6 of 2014 concerning jinayat Law is part of Islamic law which is implemented in Aceh through the struggle of the Acehnese people in the application of Islamic sharia. However, after it was ratified, the implementation of the qanun Aceh gave rise to various problems in various circles. Therefore, through qualitative research with literature studies and data analysis through a deductive frame of mind, this article attempts to analyze the problems that arise after the implementation of the qanun Aceh. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the qanun Aceh raises various problems. The emergence of pros and cons among the community, academia and the government, is assumed to be a barrier to human togetherness and understanding. The content of the qanun which is considered not comprehensive and discriminatory in nature is contrary to the Constitution and a number of laws.
