  • Urboecology - Interdisciplinary Synthesis of Geography and Ecology

    • Authors: Normurod Latipov
Abstract: The city is a dynamic system. Its analysis is necessary for all processes at all stages of the existing process, from project development to monitoring long-term use and development methods. A city is a complex system in which two sub-systems, natural and anthropogenic, interact dynamically.[18] Urbanized areas are characterized by their unsustainable development, which is often influenced by anthropogenic factors. As a result, along with various socio-economic problems in the region, there are environmental problems. In the study of environmental problems in urban areas, the analysis from the point of view of urban ecology, which emerged as a result of the integration of several disciplines, is correct in all respects. This article argues that urban ecology is an important branch of the science of geography and that it was formed in harmony with several disciplines.

  • Amazing Properties of Pharmacist Plant Inula

    • Authors: Q. G’iyosov; R. X. Amanov, T. U. Eshboboyev
Abstract: Elecampane is a well-known medicinal plant. It has been used for medicinal purposes since ancient times. Ancient medicine believed that the decoction of the elecampane root has the power of an antidote, strengthens the heart, liver, spleen, intestines, bladder, opens blockages of the liver and spleen. The powder of the roots of elecampane, when applied externally, helps with winds, joint diseases, sciatica from the cold. Fried seeds of elecampane, when ingested, are treated for intestinal ulcers. In folk medicine of Central Asian countries, the infusion of elecampane roots is drunk with difficulty breathing, inflammation of the respiratory tract and tuberculosis. A decoction of its roots is used in the treatment of inflammation of the bladder, diabetes mellitus, jaundice and hemorrhoids.

  • "The Important Role of Gears in Mechanical Engineering"

    • Authors: Nazarova Nafisa Ilhomovna
Abstract: Nowadays, the basic requirements of gear transmissions are not limited to resistance and reliability, but often include good efficiency and low vibration and noise emissions. This article investigates the role of tooth flank micro-geometry in fulfilling these needs. A non-linear finite element approach has been conceived and exploited to investigate in detail the influence of the shape of profile modifications (PMs) on transmission error, root stress, and contact pressure. In this approach, harmonic drive gears are widely used in space applications, robotics, and precision positioning systems because of their attractive attributes including near-zero backlash, high speed reduction ratio, compact size, and small weight. On the other hand, they possess an inherent periodic positioning error known as kinematic error responsible for transmission performance degradation. No definite understanding of the mechanism of kinematic error as well as its characterization is available in the literature. The numerical results are first assessed by comparison with experimental measurements and then a comparison of contact and bending stresses of the same gear with long linear and long circular PMs is presented and discussed. The results of these comparisons show that the optimal amount of PMs is not independent of PM shape; hence, the procedures used to design linear PMs cannot be directly applied to the design of non-linear PMs.
