  • Network educational environmental projects in vocational education during
           a pandemic

      Authors : Ekaterina Zimireva, Elena Khodyreva : The problem is urgent due to the need to ensure the quality of students' vocational education in the context of the extreme transition of universities to distance learning. These circumstances predetermine the need to search for promising information and communication technologies that ensure the achievement of educational results. Scientific researches indicate that network educational environmental projects have significant potential in achieving the required educational outcomes. However, insufficient knowledge of processes of organizing and managing network educational environmental projects limits possibilities of their application in vocational education. The purpose of the article is to describe the essence, structure and typological characteristics of network educational environmental projects based on the experience of their implementation in the educational process at university. The authors used the following research methods: retrospective analysis and generalization of pedagogical works made it possible to identify the essence, structure and basic grounds for the classification of network educational environmental projects; the questionnaire of students and teachers studied their attitude to project activities, the results showed prospects of using network educational environmental projects in vocational education. The study reveals the specificity, structure, principles and functions of network educational environmental projects. The research results can be used for preparing teaching materials at university in traditional and distance learning, organizing and conducting network all-Russian and international educational projects, including projects of an environmental focus, in order to improve the quality and practical orientation of vocational education.   • The Problem of Continuity in Teacher Education in a Complex World

      Authors : Zhadra Zholdasbayeva, Suriya Gilmanshina, Gulmira Abyzbekova : The implemented reforms in the education system of Kazakhstan are focused on modernizing the content of education at all levels and the transition to education for sustainable development. This research analyzed the Kazakhstan's education system with regard to the implementation of the principle of succession in a complex world. It was revealed that the peculiarity of the new programs of general education is associated with the implementation of the principle of spiraling based on the cognitive theory of Jerome Bruner, while the programs of pedagogical universities do not provide systematic training of future teachers to implement the spiral approach in education. On the example of chemistry education, it is established that the study of existing approaches to identifying the essence of continuity in education allows to identify the target interconnected hierarchical system of education. It implies the correspondence of the levels of the general (succession of education), the special (succession in professionally-oriented chemical education), and the specific (succession in chemistry education). The systemic problems in ensuring the principle of succession, especially in school education in Kazakhstan, were revealed. The programs of higher and postgraduate pedagogical education do not take into account the changes in the curriculum of general education. The formation of modern national pedagogical system requires revision of training programs in teacher training universities. HTML PDF

  • Training Teachers to Work with Children with Special Needs in
           North-Eastern Russia

      Authors : Irina Yudina, Natalya Abramova, Tatiana Makarova, Marianna Manasytova : The research purpose is to study the state of teacher training related to the work with children with special educational needs in North-Eastern Russia considering modern requirements and identify conditions for its improvement according to the requirements of the regional educational space. The research drew on the analysis of the websites of the regional higher education institutions in North-Eastern Russia. The experience of the regional universities in training teachers was compared and contrasted with that of North-Eastern Federal University. The rationale for the research is that there is the need to develop inclusive way of thinking in future teachers. High quality of teacher training can be achieved via a wide range of implemented programmes of additional professional education. Creating an inclusive educational environment requires a coordinated, consistent work to train special education teachers. The research showed that it is important to establish and develop an early support system. This should be reflected in regional systems of training, retraining, and additional training of teachers. To effectively implement inclusive education in North-Eastern Russia, it is necessary to develop competencies in future teachers for successful work with different categories of children with special needs. As the density of the regional population in North-Eastern Russia is low, versatility of teacher training should be ensured by offering many higher education and additional professional education courses.   • Structural and Functional Model Development of the Culture of Intellectual
           Work Among Future Specialists

This article pursues a goal that is aimed at revealing the essence of this model and includes blocks that define its functions. The design of this model is based on the human-anthropological approach and its approbation. The leading method of studying this problem is modeling, which allows revealing the integral system-developing components of the culture of intellectual work. The article presents a structural and functional model of the development of the culture of intellectual work of the future specialist, consisting of logically interrelated blocks aimed at transforming the culture of intellectual work of the future specialist.   • Networking in the WorldSkills Format as a Driver for the Development of
           the Teacher Training System

      Authors : Elina Yakovleva, Irina Krasilova, Galina Voiteleva : Currently, in the field of teacher training, there is an increasing understanding of the importance of networking as an effective innovative technology that allows educational organizations to develop dynamically and improve the quality of professional training of prospective teachers. The authors of the article, having analysed the main characteristics of networking, show that networking within the framework of the WorldSkills movement, on the one hand, has all the advantages of a “classical” network association, but on the other hand, has its own specifics. The effective principle of networking is translated to the level of each specific Worldskills competence. In this regard, successful network projects implemented since 2016 by the competence Primary School Teaching R21 are of great interest. One of the most successful network projects of the competence R21 was the creation of one of the largest and most active professional communities, which currently has more than 800 experts at various levels. The expansion of the professional community is facilitated by the implementation of educational projects within the framework of the Academy of WorldSkills. At the initiative of the regions, the competence R21 develops new championship lines aimed at young participants (schoolchildren) and representatives of the older generation. In general, networking in the WorldSkills format can be considered as a driver of the development of the teacher training system at the level of secondary vocational education in the specialty 44.02.02.   • Professional Portrait of a Modern Teacher as an Educator

The purpose of this research is to determine the components of the personal and professional position of a modern teacher as an educator, to reveal significant professional qualities of his/her personality, the main characteristics of educational activity which are values, goals, priorities, content and functions. The analysis of the data is based on the theoretical foundations of pedagogical and psychological studies devoted to the teacher’s professional activity which is determined by personal and professional position of a teacher as an educator. Sixty students (2nd-4th-year bachelor’s majoring in Teacher Education) and twenty school teachers took part in the empirical research. We established that the starting point of modern education is the values of the professional activity of a teacher as an educator. The main value is the personality of a pupil and its development. It means that an educator is able to work with meanings, values, emotional and reflexive spheres of a pupil’s personality, to cooperate with children in achieving common goals. At the same time teachers as educators improve their knowledge of children and youth subcultures and conduct self-analysis of the educational activity. They have individual responsibility and interest in colleagues’ work. Interaction with social communities and institutions which stimulate the manifestation of their educational potential is also necessary. HTML PDF

  • Preparation of Teachers for Spiritual and Moral Education

The relevance is proved with analysis of the data on value orientations of future teachers. The need to rely on traditional religious cultures of the country is noted. The research is aimed at forming of special programs of future teachers’ professional development through increasing their competence in the fields of theory and methods of spiritual and moral education and maintaining their professional position in the process of spiritual and moral education. The age dynamics of value orientations and methods of their appropriation, the dominance of cognitive, axiological or praxeological approaches at each stage are taken into account. Modular master's courses for teachers with higher pedagogical education are proposed, including the foundations of the main religious cultures; the courses for foreign language teachers can be supplemented by the religious culture of the studied folks. Participants prefer the combination of traditional and part-time e-learning master’s course. The importance of traditional "teacher-disciple" relationships and student-centered approach to educational activities as an environment to facilitate students’ abilities is underlined. HTML PDF

  • Information support of students in scientific activity in higher education

The relevance of the study is due to the fact that the development of information support is one of the important indicators of the university's effectiveness. The problem is that the degree of student involvement in scientific activity in most universities is not high enough. The purpose of the study is to identify the degree of interest of students in scientific activities. The novelty of the research is that an attempt made to construct a typology of students in terms of their attitude to scientific activity. In the course of the research, the percentage of how students receive information on scientific events and who organized the work to attract students to NID (research activity) was determined. The study conducted among 1-4-year students of the Kazan Federal University (KFU) and the Kazan National Research Technical University named after A.N. Tupolev-KAI (KNITU-KAI). An online questionnaire survey used as a research method. Based on the results of an online survey, it is obvious that 87,3% of students are ready to engage in scientific activities in the framework of the chosen specialty. At the same time, interest in scientific activity is high, this is confirmed by 88,1% of students with scientific achievements. The results of the study make it possible to assess in reality the perception of scientific activity by students and to show the problems of an objective nature that exist in the organization of the university.   • Professional Training and Professional Deficits of Teachers:
           a comparative study

      Authors : Vyacheslav Utemov : Teachers with similar qualification, experience and other professional characteristics still may teach their pupils with quite different results. It is supposed that there are some connections between the results of teaching and the measures of improving professional conditions of teachers. The aim of the research is to analyze the indices which characterize the quality of teaching staff in order to offer the measures which could help to improve economic and normative regulations of additional training and professional development of teachers. The data analysis is based on the conception of the third Teaching and Learning International Survey. The research was done in 2019–2021 in the Kirov region (a region of the Russian Federation). The work of 1146 teachers from city and village schools was considered in the research. Data collection by means of a questionnaire-based survey of teachers is the leading method of the research. The main need of teachers’ professional development is connected with individual teaching, with the issues of individual education of pupils with special needs and with using digital technologies at work. The share of teachers with the basic education on the subject taught by them is 65% in city schools and 51% in village schools. The main trends of developing school education are considered lessening the “bureaucracy” load on teachers by means of taking on additional staff, as well as special support of pupils with special needs and investments in digital technologies.   • Key Factors of Teacher's Professional Success in the Digital Educational

Ustin, Elvira Sabirova, Timirkhan Alishev, Fail Gafarov : Based on the studies of the daily work of teachers in educational institutions, it was noticed that the teacher in the learning process makes decisions on average every minute. The primary school teacher interacts even more actively with their students. Although most of such interactions are not planned. The teacher is constantly looking for new ideas, they improvise, use innovations. And they always reflect on what they are doing. Many solutions are the product of teachers' personal pedagogical experience and their intuition. These solutions are often not included in the research results. The purpose of the study is to identify the main patterns of influence of the educational environment components on the effectiveness of teachers' professional activities. The problem of teachers’ professional development is gaining significance in scientific research. However, the educational environment itself contains a number of factors that contribute to the professional success of a teacher. Factors can help, stimulate the teacher to the most effective and efficient forms of work with students, or they can create obstacles, difficulties that lead to the teacher's failure to succeed. The empirical study revealed a number of features of the educational environment that impact the success of the teacher's professional activity based on the analysis of big data accumulated in the system “Electronic Education in the Republic of Tatarstan” and statistical reports. Further, it is planned to use the identified features in the management (possibly modification) of the professional development trajectory of the teacher. HTML PDF

  • Key vectors of training a new generation of education professionals

      Authors : Sergey Titov, Olga Bezzubenkova : The article analyzes the experience of implementing higher education programs using distance technologies at I.N. Ulyanov State Pedagogical University in Ulyanovsk. It identifies the prospects for digitalization, as well as the design of the educational process of the university as a platform for coming up with individual educational trajectories of students using digital technologies. When carrying out the research, theoretical and empirical methods were used, the latter in the format of a questionnaire survey of 1st through 5th- year students and scientific and pedagogical workers of the university with subsequent content analysis. The main problems of digitalization of education are identified: the increased volume of teachers’ workload, technical problems, methodological problems, motivation and involvement of students, digital competence of all the parties involved in the educational process. The prospects for the development of digitalization at the university are outlined. They include: the creation of new educational content, the development of infrastructure and information environment, the introduction of distance technologies, online learning. All this inevitably leads to a change in traditional forms and methods of teaching, requirements for teachers and students, the expansion of project activities of students and remote additional education for children, the awareness of digital culture, psychological preparation for distance learning. The accumulation of educational content contributes to the individualization of education. The individual educational trajectories will be implemented in the elective content of curricula and the content of disciplines and practices. This can lead to pedagogical activity with the use of special pedagogical technologies, modernization of the organizational structure of the university. The research results can be used in the organization of the educational process at universities, the development of basic professional educational programs, curricula to meet the requirements of higher professional education.   • Future math teachers` readiness to develop mathematical abilities of

Development of pupils` mathematical abilities is one of the most important problems in learning mathematics. Many Russian and foreign scholars were engaged in research of mathematical abilities. Tutoring support having been provided for young teachers and graduates of Kazan federal university pedagogical department showed a number of issues. Novice teachers engage “average” students, do not implement an individual approach, have certain difficulties in determining pupils` mathematical abilities and applying the methods of its development. Consequently, the purpose of this study was to identify ways to improve training of future mathematics teachers in terms of developing students' mathematical abilities.Analysis of specific literature showed distinction between ordinary “school” abilities to assimilate mathematical knowledge, to reproduce and implement it on the one side, and creative mathematical abilities associated with designing original product. In this regard questionnaires were drawn to establish ideas of KFU students as future math teachers about current state and possibilities of developing pupils` mathematical abilities.The study determined that success of future teachers` training depends on many factors. A considerable place must be given both to development of students` mathematical abilities themselves and to development of their pedagogical competencies. HTML PDF

  • Disabled Students Inclusive Literacy Regarding Designing Individual
           Trajectories for Professional Development

Federal state educational standards of higher education enactment with regard to requirements of professional standards (FSES 3++) brought changes both in designing educational programmes and learning outcomes up to date. In the article the phenomenon of inclusive literacy considering the requirements of the updated standards is examined, the survey results of undergraduates and graduates inclusive literacy are described, the experience of forming inclusive literacy of students of various specialization is analyzed, the influence of inclusive literacy level on designing individual trajectories of students professional development at the stage of completing their bachelor’s degree is revealed. The article describes the experience of the staff of the Department of Inclusive Education and Social and Pedagogical Rehabilitation of the Academy of Psychology and Pedagogy of the Southern Federal University. While working on the article various theoretical methods were used, including the analysis of modern research on the problems of inclusive culture, inclusive competence, functional and inclusive literacy, consolidating requirements of the latest generation federal state educational standards of higher education. The empirical methods are pedagogical observation, pedagogical experiment, questionnaires, mathematical processing of the experimental work results, qualitative and quantitative analysis of the data obtained during the study. At different stages of the research more than 200 undergraduates and graduates took part in it, 84 were directly involved in the experimental work. HTML PDF

  • Teaching Children with Dyslexia Reading in English in Artificial Language

      Authors : Svetlana Tatarnitseva, Dana Gnatyuk : The purpose of this research is to develop the techniques in teaching children with dyslexia to read in English and study their efficiency. The analysis is based on theoretical foundations of communicative, system-activity, and multisensory approaches in teaching foreign languages. The study was conducted in schools of Togliatti, the city in the Samara region in Russia. The sample comprised children aged 9-10 years with a diagnosed developmental phonological dyslexia, primary school foreign language teachers and speech pathologists. The process of acquiring reading skills in an artificial language environment was examined. The research showed that combining all senses in teaching reading in a foreign language can be effective for children with dyslexia. The significant factors are the systematic activity in practicing reading, the approach “from simple to complex”, and the choice of a correct method of forming reading skills. The survey revealed that methods and techniques used in English textbooks for primary schools in Russia do not fully satisfy the needs of children with dyslexia. They do not allow the teachers to be effective enough in teaching reading. Thus, a special procedure was developed to supplement the used methods. The results of the evaluation showed that the developed procedure is effective in teaching dyslexic children reading in a foreign language. HTML PDF

  • European Concepts in EMI Introduction: Comparative Analysis of Egypt and

      Authors : Dilyana Sungatullina, Lubna Shebab, Yuliya N.Gorelova, Oksana Polyakova : The article discusses the phenomenon of English as a Medium of Instruction in the global tertiary education context and the way it influences governmental policies and university approaches to admission and recruitment procedures. The authors have undertaken a compare and contrast research approach to EMI policies in Russia and Egypt derived from the analysis of the contexts of European and Arab countries. The purpose of the article is to discover common ground and trends typical for both countries as well as to outline the differences, further analysis of which could serve as a basis for future developments in EMI strategy pursued by both countries. The study revealed the common trends in EMI implementation policies in both countries including governmental country-wide projects with sufficient funding aimed at boosting universities’ global competitiveness as well as positive attitude toward EMI. However, the extent of governmental involvement and support in EMI training and academic programs’ provision represents a challenge. Moreover, the authors analyze the universities’ policies in both countries in terms of implementing EMI programs, admission and recruitment requirements. Similarities and differences as well as recommendations and issues to be addressed in the nearest future by both countries are identified. The research showed that the EMI phenomenon, being a new trend for both Egypt and Russia, provides new horizons for expansion into the global educational market; however, it poses many challenges.   • The Current Trends of Neuropsychological Assessment Implementation in
           Educational Environment

The problematic issue reveals the idea of integrating neuropsychology and personality diagnostics procedure of adolescent and young age people. A new approach to the learning ability assessment should essentially be revealed in the understanding of personal neuropsychological status in adolescence and youth. Personality diagnostics in accordance with Neuropsychological Assessment calls for a multidisciplinary approach for destructive risks identifying in a young personality. The theoretical conceptualization of the problem of personality assessment is a systematic synthesis of modern trends of neuropsychology in the Russian scientific tradition and the world practice of neuropsychological diagnostics in adolescence and youth age. This review of relevant studies is focused on behavioral, personality and affective disorders in terms of neuropsychological basis. Results of this study also consider the cognitive and high mental impairments that accompany dysfunction in personality characteristics. There is a high risk of destructiveness developing and risky behavior forming that complicates the formation of emotional-volitional, motivational and personal spheres. The negative effect of condition in cognitive dysfunctions and personal destruction will generate failure in learning and reduced motivation to learn. HTML PDF

  • Development of Students’ Critical Thinking Skills via Teaching

      Authors : Veronika Starichkova, Natalia Moskovskaya, Elena Kalinovskaya : The purpose of the research is to investigate the educational potential of the foreign language as a university subject and to verify theoretically and practically the possibility of developing critical thinking skills of students in the process of foreign language acquisition at the tertiary level of education. The student age is a sensitive period for the development of the intellectual sphere of an individual especially in general and critical thinking. The research about critical thinking suggests that this type of thinking is a category of interdisciplinary knowledge and represents a set of certain skills: reflection, goal setting, decision making, problem-solving, and other skills. Experimental teaching and practical evaluation of the methods designed to develop students’ critical thinking skills by means of the foreign language showed that in the process of specially organized teaching and educational activities, students successfully master critical thinking skills if they are taught step-by-step; learning content is thoroughly selected; an appropriate system of exercises is designed; the problem- and communication-oriented teaching is provided. It is necessary to implement the communicative approach and the approach of interrelated teaching of language skills, to ensure a close connection of the content of the exercises with students’ real life (to use exercises that allow analyzing students’ real-life situations, events, behavior, actions), to use active methods of teaching (role play, case-method, project method).   • Emotional Comprehension of the Value of Environmental Safety by
           Schoolchildren with Intellectual Disability

      Authors : Tatiana Solovyeva, Irina Vitkovskaya, Alexandra Ovchinnikova : The topicality of the study is explained by the fact that schoolchildren with a temporary intellectual disability perceive the world around them, the ecological situation, and natural processes in a peculiar way. Such children have difficulty comprehending some terminal values, such as “environmental safety”. The purpose of the article is to theoretically and experimentally substantiate the methods and means of emotional comprehension of environmental safety by schoolchildren with temporary intellectual disability. The research was based on the methods of theoretical analysis of domestic and foreign literary sources, testing of 20 students with intellectual disability, interviewing, and a pedagogical experiment. The article theoretically justifies that emotional comprehension of the value of environmental safety by schoolchildren with temporary intellectual disability is possible as a result of their constantly organized assessment of environmental situations. The analysis of diagnostics made it possible to establish that, without special work with schoolchildren with intellectual disability, 25% of the children emotionally inadequately assess the environmental situations offered to them visually and verbally. The majority of students (60%) does not feel the need for active action. 5% of children believe that they cannot in any way change or influence the ecological situations in their region.   • Personal Development of Future Psychologists: Role of Reflection in
           Structure of Ego Identity

      Authors : Marina Solobutina : This study examined the ego identity and the types of reflection among students of the faculty of Psychology. To study the problem, the research methods used were as follows: Differential Diagnosis of Reflection, Method “Per-sonal Identity”, Personality Maturity Questionnaire. Differential Diagnosis of Reflection was used to diagnose the type of reflection as a stable personality trait. It was revealed that the prevailing type of reflection of students-psychologists was systemic. Systemic reflection was the only stable indicator of the level of personality maturity. Quasi-reflection and Introspective reflection did not depend on the level of personal maturity of the respondents. It was found that students of the faculty of Psychology had mainly an average degree of congruence of ego identi-ty. Emotional-motivational and behavioral components prevailed over the cognitive one in the structure of partici-pants’ ego identity. Students had a satisfactory level of personality maturity. Leading student’s needs were defined as in communication, in achieving one's goals and professional recognition. Correlation between the congruence of the ego identity and types of reflection of students-psychologists was revealed. With an average and high level of personality maturity, students valued their abilities, qualities and achievements, perceived the world and people holistically, established deep contacts with people. They strove to acquire knowledge about the world around them, showed flexibility and spontaneity in behavior, they were open to new experience and relatively independ-ent in their actions. HTML PDF

  • Measuring Text Features in Expository Discourse of Russian Students

Initially developed by the authors to estimate Russian texts readability indices, the public version of RuLingva reports on 33 metrics related to text length, readability indices, parts of speech classification, noun case, verb tenses, vocabulary frequency, lexical diversity, abstractness rating, etc. We hypothesize that the abovementioned metrics can be used to discriminate and score written expository discourse of RFL students. The corpus compiled for the study comprises written recalls of 407-word expository texts produced by 71 B2 students of Russian. Each subject’s recall was scaled against the original reading text on the following metrics: text length, average sentence length, average word length, type token ratio, word frequency, abstractness rating, local and global noun overlap, local and global argument overlap. Prior to reading the expository text, we also assessed the subjects’ general knowledge with WISC test and Russian language proficiency with Quick Russian placement Test. T tests of significance indicated a strong positive correlation (>0.05) of both general knowledge and Russian proficiency tests with the abovementioned metrics automatically assessed with RuLingva. The findings enable to narrow the range of text features predicting RFL writing quality and ways of estimating language proficiency. RuLingva as the first Automated Writing Assessment tool for the Russian Language has a potential to be successfully used in formative assessment motivating students to review their writing and contributing to both literal and inferential comprehension. The structure of a high school student pre-professional - pedagogical competence proposed in the article includes personal, social and professional - pedagogical competence, as its structural elements, with the corresponding characteristic features. The structure is complemented by key “soft skills” with meaningful content, connected with pedagogical activities differentiating into personal and social “flexible skills”. A substantiated choice of scientific methodological approaches ensures the determined meaning of personal, social and professional - pedagogical competencies. The conditions for a high school student pre-professional - pedagogical competence are considered in the aggregate and trinity of a pedagogical vocational orientation extracurricular activities, school pedagogical educational environment, out-of-school socio-cultural educational space of a socially active school.   • Disabled Applicant Educational Needs in Russian Regions

In some cases, these students may require special counseling in career guidance, assistance in social and psychological support in the educational process. The aim of the study is to analyze educational needs of applicants with disabilities and develop recommendations to expand the accessibility of higher education for this category of students. The researchers monitored the educational needs of applicants with disabilities using the survey method in the form of an online questionnaire. The article presents the results of monitoring educational needs of 170 Russian school graduates with disabilities and health limitations who studied in 16 comprehensive educational institutions of 7 regions of the Russian Federation. Based on the analysis of the results, the authors of the article have developed recommendations for regional and municipal authorities and educational organizations subordinate to them. The aim of these recommendations is to show ways to increase the accessibility and quality of higher education for students with disabilities, their further employment and career growth. The practical significance of the obtained results.   • Advantages and Disadvantages of Hybrid Learning for International Students

In order to find out the views of foreign students about the advantages and disadvantages of hybrid learning format, as well as to assess the level of their adaptation to the distance learning system, a sociological survey was conducted among 144 students of the preparatory school for international students of Kazan (Volga region) Federal University studying in the 2020/2021 academic year. The results of the survey allow us to conclude that the majority of foreign students consider distance learning in general and the hybrid format, including, not completely acceptable for education in the Russian Federation. Most of them prefer to return to the traditional education system. At the same time, students declare their satisfaction with the work of teachers and positively assess the quality of knowledge gained during learning in a hybrid format. Of course, the use of distance learning elements can diversify the learning process of foreign citizens, but personal communication and direct interaction with teachers and classmates, immersion in the language environment, individual and team work in the classroom, as well as an objective and high-quality assessment of their activities by teachers are very important for international students. The argumentation is based on A. Mudric’s theory that necessitates duly solution of the three groups of socialization problems: natural-cultural, social-cultural and social-psychological. Their retarded solution or lack of the solution may cause a victimization process, thus preventing a gifted child from having successful future with achieving set goals and built according to the “Winner” pattern. A child with great expectations may come to the pattern “Not a Winner” or even “Loser” (Berne, 2015). Solving the above mentioned socialization tasks matters at any age stage starting from preschool period. The indicators of solving socialization problems were formulated. Each group has its own features and figures of successful personal and social development of a child. The authors consider the following indicators of solving social-cultural socialization problems: awareness of ethical norm, independence, interests and hobbies.   • Emotional Intelligence as a Predictor for Learning Motivation of High

The purpose of the study was to identify the relationship between indicators of learning motivation and emotional intelligence in terms of digitalization among high school students. The sample consisted of 63 high school students aged 16 to 17 years. Research methods were questionnaires: “Learning motivation of high school students” (Lukyanova & Kalinina, 2004); "Motivation for success and fear of failure" (Rean, 1999); "Test of emotional intelligence" (Lyusin, 1999); "Emotional intelligence test" (Hall, adapted by Knyazev, Mitrofanova & Bocharov, 2013). The results of the study showed the domination of the affiliation and social motivation of high school students. It means the desire to take a certain position in relations with others and the necessity to have authority in the referent group. The relationship between the general level of emotional intelligence of high school students and the general level of learning motivation was determined. It was recognized that emotion as a special type of knowledge is related to the category of “intelligence” and enables a person to successfully adapt to changing conditions.   • Peculiarities of Organization of Students’ Online Educational

The educational internship for the bachelors of Education, majoring in Health and Safety & Physical Education, is introductory, the first one in the curriculum. The distance educational internship was organized on the MS Teams digital platform using team work. The students’ online activities involved analyzing scientific, popular science, methodological and official information on health and safety and physical education, as well as on the disciplines that provide the meta-subject approach and inter-subject communications when teaching these subjects at school. The key methods were the project method and the case method. The students were given different cases, such as to analyze the content of video clips and websites, to develop environmental excursions and algorithms for modeling the volcano, to determine the optimal physical recreation and its components for people of different ages. The main advantages of students’ distance educational internship are a larger number of tasks completed by students compared to the full-time format, the use of different methods and technologies to organize students’ team work. The main problems concerning the distance educational internship include teachers significantly overloaded with the task development and evaluation, the long hours students spend working at the computer and technical issues. It is important to find a reasonable compromise between the amount of the proposed work with the information, the optimal time and safe operation in an electronic environment when organizing internships in an online format.   • Current problems of professional development of a prospective teacher

They emphasize various problems which must be overcome by a teacher at the initial stage of professional adaptation such as emotional exhaustion, professional crisis (Correa et al., 2015; Danilov & Schustova, 2018; Clandinin et al., 2015; Dicke et al., 2015; etc.). It is obvious that unpreparedness for complications at school not only increases the possibility of a teacher leaving the profession but also reduces his personal and innovative potential, worsens the quality of work with learners. This determined the relevance of this study. Based on empirical data, the article describes a predictive assessment of students-future teachers of the difficulties of their professional adaptation at an early stage of their career. It is shown that future teachers underestimate the “bureaucratic” and didactic difficulties, as well as such sources of overcoming the adaptation crisis as the support of the administration and the support of colleagues in comparison with working school teachers. The data obtained indicate that future teachers may not be ready to work in school, since they underestimate precisely those groups of difficulties that were identified as the most significant in the assessment of working teachers. The research results can be used to improve the quality of teacher training through the development of professional self-knowledge of prospective teachers, motivating them to self-education and self-development within the framework of new methods and ways of pedagogical education. Samigullina : The inclusion of Russia in the world educational area and the signing of the Bologna Agreement, educational priorities of UNESCO, international cross-sections of students' knowledge (PISA, TIMSS), federal state standards at all levels of Russian education actualize the problem of the effectiveness of knowledge. Research, carried out by Russian scientists, was based on the acceptance of competence and cognitive approaches, as the implementation of knowledge, abilities and skills in the work of each student. At the same time, the formation of a complete image of the material world is not possible without the synthesis of two forms of expression: real (the study of real objects) and knowledge (concepts, theories, etc.). Knowledge translation which is not only within one discipline would eliminate the problem of shaping discrete vision of the world. The competency-based approach involves comprehensive domain knowledge by way of an increase of cross-curriculum components. The ability to “interpret” subject or cross-curricular skills has been developed to prepare undergraduate and practicing teachers. Research results can be used in the process of studying natural sciences and humanities. The current study helps to reduce the gap between academic sciences and general education disciplines, form holistic views on methods and ways of knowing the world, and organize an effective and high-quality educational process. This study specifies the in-depth characteristics of students’ general competencies, it elicits pedagogical reasons for the development of general cultural competencies among students by means of e-learning. The research presents test results of the model performance during the course of the experiment. Research methods: theoretical methods, such as subject research analysis based on the study of psychological and pedagogical literature, reflexive systemic analysis of the feasible management of educational work. Pilot testing has been implemented in the Institute of Psychology and Education of Kazan Federal University at the Department of Preschool Education. A model representing the building-up phases of students’ general cultural competencies utilizing Moodle-based e-learning is presented. The research involved the participants of 2-4 year students studying the training programs: “Teacher training”, “Preschool education”. The research has indicated that the implementation of the model in the university promotes the effective development of students’ general cultural competencies.   • Psychological readiness of students for distance learning

To preserve the health of citizens, many states transferred educational institutions to a distance learning format. Such conditions can have a different psychological effect on students, therefore some of them may not be psychologically ready for them. The purpose of the research is to study the degree of students’ psychological readiness for distance learning. The study recruited 107 undergraduate and graduate students of "Preschool education" profile. The research methods were selected to cover every aspect of a person's psychological readiness: motivation, self-regulation, emotionality and evaluation. The research of psychological readiness revealed the types of students’ internal and external motivation, their features of self-regulation in the process of fulfilling intentions, purposefulness, planning, perseverance, emotional and evaluative attitude to educational activities and the chosen profile, the degree of satisfaction with studies, and how these indicators are related to each other. The survey also brought out such indicators as the need for distance learning, the possibility of deterioration in the quality of education due to ubiquitous distance learning, students' preferences for online education, the degree of their satisfaction with distance learning, and the level of their professional competencies development using distance learning. The data obtained can be used to create an individual educational route for students in case of distance learning, and to make certain recommendations for developers of distance courses. The research relied on the theoretical methods: the analysis of scientific pedagogical and military pedagogical literature concerning the research problem, comparison, correlation, synthesis, generalization of the findings; empirical methods: survey, opinion poll, interview; statistical methods: comprising grouping, ranking, scaling. The data was collected at the Military Educational and Scientific Center of the Air Force “Air Force Academy named after Professor N. Ye. Zhukovsky and Yu. A. Gagarin” in Voronezh. The sample comprised 300 cadets. The study identified the socio-pedagogical and psycho-pedagogical conditions for the personal and professional development of cadets. These are the willingness of the teaching staff and commanders to carry out educational activities within the information and educational environment of a military university along with pedagogical and moral training activities; cadets’ involvement in an independent creative search, their ability to use independently information and communications technologies of the Air Force Academy, and their motivation to use learning support materials in different academic subject areas.   • Self-System and Semantic Structures in Mental Regulation of

The article presents the results of the study of the student’s psychological states mental regulation. According to the model, the process of regulation is a structure of relationships between mental states, characteristics of consciousness (representations, reflection, experiences, semantic structures) and external factors (situations, cultural space, lifestyle, social environment). The core regulating function in organizing the inclusion of structures of consciousness in the mental states self-regulation is performed by the self-system. The present study, in which first-year students took part, investigates the nature of the relationship between the components of the self-system (self-esteem and self-attitude) and semantic structures (the general level of meaningfulness, semantic orientations, motivation and semantic categories of meanings and values). The role of each of these consciousness structures in the effectiveness of regulatory processes in the course of various situations of the educational activity (lecture, seminar, exam), as well as in the effectiveness of the educational process, has been examined. It was revealed that students with a high level of self-esteem and positive strategies of self-attitude are characterized by a high level of meaningfulness and constructive desire to find sources of meanings in all temporal directions (future, present, past).   • Self-Regulation of Students' Psychological States: Its Mental Mechanisms

Prokhorov, Albert Chernov, Mark Yusupov : The widespread use of online education all over the world inevitably leads to problems of self-regulation, since the effective development of online education is impossible without mastering the skills to control and correct one's activities. Conscious self-regulation is of particular importance for managing the learning process. The article aims at studying the mental mechanisms of self-regulation of students' states in the course of the educational process. The study revealed the typical characteristics of psychological states at lectures, seminars and exams, showed the specifics of the states, depending on the forms of education. We have shown that the effectiveness of self-regulation of students’ mental states significantly affects the productivity of passing exams. Among the mental states of highly effective students, such cognitive states as interest, thoughtfulness and concentration are particularly important. The regulatory properties of the personality (adequacy, awareness, independence and assertiveness) ensure high efficiency of self-regulation. In addition, students with high self-regulation efficiency are more likely to turn to regulatory means. The study confirmed the original hypothesis about the central role of the characteristics of consciousness in the regulation of mental states. For students, regardless of the conditions of the educational activity (lecture, seminar, exam), we identified four leading factors that represent the characteristics of the mental states. The study of self-regulation of cognitive states will be useful for general and educational psychology. It can also find an application in the management of students' cognitive activity. HTML PDF

Piven Nikitina : New market realities in the translation industry and elsewhere require an innovative approach to the content of higher education and a refocus on soft and hard skills. A prospective translator shall possess communicative skills, be capable of critical thinking, self-management, teamwork, engage in project activities, as well be creative, intellectually flexible, and digitally literate.New trends in the profession are conducive to revising educational strategies for graduation papers (GP) written by undergraduates. GPs are still theory-oriented, thus failing to meet the pragmatic needs of the translation industry, and lack correlation with hands-on professional activities. Bachelor GPs seem especially challenging, since neither Russian education authorities, nor academic instructors have a clear-cut vision of the bachelor's degree training and its specific nature. Most often, the bachelor’s degree is deemed as a simplified version of the specialist’s degree.The professional standard and the Federal State Educational Standard on Linguistics provide that graduates shall have general cultural, general professional, and professional competences (PCs). If mastered, these competences will qualify graduates for independent professional activities outside the academic institution. This paper presents feasibility study results for practice-oriented GPs. These results are analyzed to see if such GPs match relevant translation problems and if a new practice-oriented method can be used as a tool to assess graduates’ professional aptitude for independent translation activities. The authors discourse upon effectiveness of this tool in education based on LUNN case study. The selection scope covers GPs written in 2015–2020, their number exceeding 200. HTML PDF

The article theoretically substantiates the possibilities of using information technologies in aesthetic education of bachelors. New knowledge about their implementation in the following directions has received: 1) determining cultural foundations of aesthetic education of bachelors, 2) integrative processes in the understanding of artistic images; 3) value-meaning understanding of art based on subject-object reflection of reality. The criterion of forming aesthetic education of bachelors (motivational, figurative, value-meaning, creative) and levels are determined: high, figurative, low; the relationship between possession of information technologies and aesthetic education of bachelors is established. The practical significance of the results of the study is using diagnostic techniques, information technologies in aesthetic education of bachelors. Attitudes towards distance learning technologies are under “pressure”, however, the term “online learning” is used whenever there is a lack of personal contact, which leads to the inaccurate deductions. In the present situation, it would be unreasonable to use the term online learning even concerning the use of massive open online courses, since the rapid students’ transfer in the mid-term without prior arrangements and proper follow-up prevent students to realize the benefits of this technology. The emergency distance learning approach in a pandemic environment differs significantly from well-planned online learning through massive open online courses. Unfortunately, scientific discussions are often closed and research results do not go beyond the scientific community. CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) is not a new topic in pedagogy. It is represented in numerous studies of foreign researchers. In Russian pedagogy CLIL was explored mainly in the context of face-to-face education. Considering that distance learning is being implemented into the educational process, the use of CLIL in distance education provides new opportunities and difficulties both for teachers and students.The aim of this study is to reveal positive effect of implementation CLIL in distance learning, to conduct a comparative analysis of the CLIL efficiency in face-to-face learning and distance learning.The study based on the theoretical and empirical methods: analysis of the foreign and Russian scientific literature, observation, modeling and monitoring of pedagogical experiment. The results of pedagogical experiment allow us to conclude that the use of CLIL in distance learning improves both the language competencies of the students and their professional knowledge, and as a result to achieve a high level of foreign-language professional communicative competence. Finally, the study draws conclusions concerning advantages of CLIL implementation in distance education comparing with its use in face-to-face education, also the paper notes initial requirements for teachers and students to be involved in CLIL distance learning. The methodological framework of the research is in axiological, competency-based, system-activity and technological approaches. The above indicated approaches provided the basis for the development and introduction of training system of pedagogical staff for educating students with disabilities and its mechanisms: implementation of directions and orientations providing the professional competency formation in pedagogical, psychological and pedagogical, social educations; provision of interdisciplinary integration of disciplines of general professional and subject training for the work with students with disabilities; presence of special department of pedagogical and special education; interaction realization of higher-education institution, educational institutions and the Regional resource centre of educational technologies in work with students with disabilities; future teachers participation in leading forms of social and pedagogical practices.The obtained results allow talking about high indices achievement in training system of future educators for educational process organization with students with disabilities, define the increase of students’ interest level in personal and professional growth, motivation increase to mastering general cultural and professional competences. In conditions of extreme situations and territorial remoteness of educational institutions and universities, the organization of collaboration is possible only in a remote format. At the same time, there is a tendency towards the use of digital technologies in the higher education system, while their use is often ignored in the framework of pedagogical practice. The study reveals the possibilities of organizational and methodological support of students' pedagogical practice using distance educational technologies. The article demonstrates the advantages of distance collaboration of the university-school in the organization of students' pedagogical practice, which implies the organization of joint activities of the participants of pedagogical practice both in the absence and in the presence of territorial restrictions. The article analyzes the implementation of a practice-oriented approach to the professional training of a future teacher in the higher education system, describes the methodological and normative basis of the practical training of students. The role of collaboration between institutions of vocational education and general education in the process of organizing pedagogical practice is revealed. The leading methods in the study of this problem were questionnaires and content analysis, which made it possible to identify deficiencies in the content and organizational aspects of the university-school collaboration. A systematic analysis of existing pedagogical views and approaches to the formation of value attitudes in children in an educational institution and the development of healthy lifestyle skills has been carried out. At the same time, the idea is proved that the existing methods and techniques of psychotherapy do not allow them to be used effectively enough to solve the problems of adaptation of young people to the conditions of a pandemic. Based on the psychological characteristics of adolescent consciousness, a different approach is needed, combining not directive, but creative forms of work. Understanding the importance of corporeality as a space of unity of the mental and physical in a person determines the strategies for the formation of mental abilities and skills adaptive to stressful situations. The authors conclude that the formation of adolescents' ability for sociobiological adaptation can be effective due to the development of imaginative thinking, the activity of which makes it possible to change the nature of the perception of oneself and the world in the direction of enhancing one's vitality, which is especially important in the context of the coronavirus pandemic. The existing system of psychological and pedagogical support from the preschool period should aim at effectively overcoming the above difficulties.The research presents the results of a two-year study of 52 organized preschoolers aged 3 to 8 years with ASD under the VB-MAPP Skills and Social Interaction Assessment Program. The results showed insignificant dynamics in the development of verbal and social interaction skills in preschoolers with ASD attending kindergartens. Questioning of caregivers who raise children with ASD confirmed their dissatisfaction with the existing system of support of preschoolers with ASD in the region. The results indicate the insufficient effectiveness of the existing system of psychological and pedagogical support of children in preschool educational institutions and actualize the issue of implementing the system of comprehensive support of children with ASD for their successful socialization. The relevance of the study is explained by the necessity to work out a system of medical, psychological, linguistic and educational support for children with ASD corresponding to the modern requirements of society and global practices. The aim of the research is to develop a comprehensive model of neuropsychological assessment and study of speech development for preschool children with ASD. This model assumes the implementation of a) the Russian-language version of the Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP), b) the Russian-language version of the BVL battery for speech assessment (BVL_RU), c) traditional for Russia approaches to the diagnosis of developmental disorders and speech impairment. The platform for the project is the kindergarten of Kazan Federal University "We are together". The comprehensive model includes a new methodological framework, which implements the achievements of cognitive sciences, neuropsychology and neurolinguistics in interdisciplinary fields. The results of the research can be implemented into the practice of teaching preschool children with ASD and become the basis for the further development of this comprehensive model for schoolchildren with ASD. Understanding the personal self-determination support as mediation implies the search for a “toolbox” that is not alienated from the personality. An individual development trajectory integrating the intra- and inter-subjective aspects of self-determination is considered to be the main support. The need to objectify and operationalize the supporting process actualizes the problem of theoretical justification and design for supporting procedure. We consider the supporting procedure as a well-founded procedure for the subjects’ actions. The procedure is provided by the identification of the supporting stages, a description of the subjects’ actions and their results. Supporting stages are isomorphic to the basic stages of self-determination and, accordingly, include: support at the stage of “self-determination itself”, support at the stage of self-realization and support at the stage of personal self-actualization. The teacher’s “functionality” includes actions aimed at activating the processes of the personality’s self-determination in its inter- and inter-subjective aspects: personality “immersion” in the activities using a wide arsenal of cultural mediators (word, image, action) and methods such as analysis of problem situations, game imitation actions, social communication and professional tests; facilitation of analysis, reflection and practical student’s actions. The student activities include: analysis of problem situations, “trial” activity of the person in modelled situations, activity in professional and living contexts; reflex of his actions. When we begin to consider distance learning as a method of training qualified specialists equivalent to traditional education, then the eternal problem of control of knowledge and skills for the education system may arise in the distance education system. In addition, the form of distance learning significantly complicates the full control of knowledge, due to the spacing in space, and sometimes in time of the student and teacher, the limited ability to observe the independent completion of tasks. The article presents the results and analysis of the work on the design, development and testing of the computer program of remote control knowledge, allowing to generate individual tasks of the current and intermediate control randomly from the formed bank of tasks and an automatic system of fixing and counting the academic rating of the student in the framework of the mastering the course. The structural elements of the program and their functionality are described. The influence of the use of the program on the optimization of the procedure for the distribution of control tasks, registration of the results of the tasks and on improving the quality of mastering the discipline is shown. Meanwhile, urgent move to remote learning because of the pandemic revealed a number of pending issues related to the principles of creating video content for digital educational resources. This problem is of special significance in philological education. This is due to the amount of educational information and metadisciplinary level of its presenting.The article outlines the problems associated with the implementation of online learning, and their impact on the lectures’ content and presentation. A set of issues related to creating video lectures for digital educational resources on historical and literary academic disciplines is examined. Firstly, it is the issue of selecting information for a video lecture, which is supposed to be both concise and informative. This issue is so relevant for the course of history of literature because academic disciplines of such kind involve a large amount of information that cannot be reduced to short logical constructions. Secondly, it is the issue of visual information corresponding to text resources. Here apt models of partial duplication, expansion and partial presenting of information, etc., are considered. Thirdly, not only the content, but also the form of presentation is becoming a significant issue. This has allowed us to formulate the goal of our research. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the systemic and functional capabilities of the regional educational cluster in the development of the professional identity of teachers.In order to test the hypothesis about the systemic and functional capabilities of the regional educational cluster, such methods as theoretical (this is the analysis of scientific literature on the problem of developing the professional identity of young teachers; studying and summarizing the experience of creating an educational cluster), empirical (this is the observation, survey and testing) and methods of mathematical processing of the obtained data were used.The empirical study was carried out on the basis of secondary schools in the city of Kaliningrad, which are the subjects of the regional educational cluster. In the process of diagnostics, we have studied the following: the formation of the self - awareness as a subject of the professional interaction; understanding the value of the profession as an important component of life-meaning orientations and readiness to independently implement the strategy of professional self-determination and development.The obtained results can be useful to the specialists in the field of management in the design of educational projects that are aimed at improving the professional activities of young teachers. Therefore, parents, as a key component of the microsociety, play a pivotal role in the speech development of their children. Speech is formed in stages under certain laws of the psyche. Observing the changes occurring in the child’s speech, parents fail to analyze the age-deviation correlation, and thus, miss the time to see a proper specialist. The purpose of this study is to analyze the parents’ awareness of their children’s speech development and to design a project of correctional and pedagogical competence of parents in terms of impaired and normative behavior. The current research contains all the elements of scientific work, including the stages of ascertaining, formative, and control experiments. At the ascertaining and control stages, a questionnaire and a survey of parents were administered, the diagnosis of children's speech using classical methods was implemented, a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the results was carried out. The formative stage included a description of the parents’ competence program as far as speech development is concerned. The article reflects the results of the study and parental experience in ontogenesis and dysontogenesis of early speech development. The content of the program aims at the cutting-edge knowledge of ontogenesis and dysontogenesis of the speech development in young children and the possibility of correction. The finding features the merits of parents' participation in the correction of such a functional system as speech. The current study explores the ways of development of correctional and pedagogical parental competence in speech development of their children. The topical investigation is intended to prime the directions of work for specialists in this field.   • Problems of Preventing Deviant Behavior of Students in the Extreme

Mulyukov : The issue of legal protection of minors appears to be the most important one, being of particular relevance due to insufficient elaboration of the problem under consideration in modern socio-economic realities. The problem of preventing deviant behavior of students in the extreme conditions of the coronavirus pandemic and uncoordinated public manifestations of young people is one of the most relevant in pedagogy, criminology and sociology, since, firstly, it poses a danger to society. Secondly, deviant behavior is prone to organizing new offenses and involving other minors. The fact that in case of deviant behavior, the situation according to which the indicators of deviance become the higher, the higher is the degree of danger of illegal acts remains unchanged represents a particular danger.In this regard, the purpose of this article is to formulate and theoretically substantiate modern forms of prevention of deviant behavior of schoolchildren in the extreme conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic. The leading approach to the study of this problem is the dialectical method of cognition based on the use of dialectical materialistic teaching. The article studies the problems of preventing deviant, delinquent and addictive behavior of students in the extreme conditions of the coronavirus pandemic, taking into account the latest changes and additions to the current legislation; the author's judgments on the stated problem are presented.   • Psychophysiological Status and Organization of Physical Recreation of
           Students with Disabilities

The methodology for organizing recreation is based on the results of studying students’ psychophysiological characteristics. The psychophysiological status of 19 university students was determined using psychomotor tests of the psychophysiological testing device "Psychophysiologist". The authors compared data obtained with the indicators of the control group of students without pathology. They found out that 80% of students with disabilities had a weak type of nervous system, which indicated a rapid level of fatigue due to mental or physical stress. 93.3% of students with disabilities did not have a leading hemisphere and a leading analyzer. The majority of students in the experimental group (66.7%) showed an increased and high level of personal anxiety. The data obtained significantly differed from the corresponding indicators of students without disabilities. On the basis of the data obtained, the authors have worked out recommendations for the organization of physical recreation. It is proposed to build physical recreation classes on the principle of blocks, starting with the elements of remedial gymnastics. After gymnastics classes there is a warm-up. In the second block, the main part of the lesson should be in water, using aquatics. The third block includes using outdoor games. The article formulates recommendations for the organization of recreation, taking into account the psychophysiological status. The presented data may be used by teachers of physical culture and specialists in adaptive physical culture. HTML PDF

Mitina, Larisa Mitina, Svetlana Shchelina : One of the main issues of personal and professional development of a modern person is the necessity to study psychological barriers – those negative phenomena that have become widespread and affect individual and public consciousness: marginalism, procrastination and learned helplessness. The purpose of the research is to study the psychological content of the selected phenomena, their interrelationships; to develop and implement the technology of actualizing personal resources to overcome psychological barriers in personal and professional development of educational subjects. In line with the systematic personal development approach, based on the concept of professional development of an individual, a special methodological program has been developed and a plan of theoretical and empirical research (stating and forming stages) has been implemented. The study involved school and university teachers, schoolchildren and university students (n=738). The results of the study shows that teachers with low level of personal and professional development are characterized by signs of marginal consciousness, procrastination, due to the syndrome of learned helplessness formed in childhood and student life, as well as the position of a victim, transmitted and assigned by students. Personal helplessness is not formed among students if they develop in conditions of polysubject interaction, where the teacher is characterized by high level of professional development, meaningfulness of life, humanistic nature values and the absence of an existential vacuum. The developed and tested technology of actualizing personal resources (coping behavior, reflexive design and emotional involvement) proves its effectiveness by increasing the level of self-awareness and integral personal characteristics among educational subjects, reducing the learned helplessness, procrastination, and marginalism indicators, thereby ensuring an increase in the level of their personal and professional development.   • Investigation of Future Educators' Readiness for Distant Technologies
           Application in Teaching

Subjects are the students of educational programs in Pedagogy. The researchers analyze different documents that set goals in computer technologies and digital education, and study theoretical and practical issues of digital didactics presented in the works of researchers worldwide. The analyzed literature has enabled the authors to clarify the concepts of distant education, distant technologies, teachers’ digital competence, digital didactics, and to review different approaches for examining the structure of teachers’ digital competence. Researchers have 1) administered a survey and processed the results with the methods of mathematical statistics package SPSS, 2) scrutinized which distant technologies the students are ready to implement in teaching, 3) examined students’ attitude to distant and blended education, 4) probed how students assess their ICT-skills, and finally, 5) correlated all aspects of the study with one another. Researchers have concluded that despite an ultimate readiness of the students to use distant technologies in teaching, there is a contradiction between their competences’ assessment and their relatively high level of skepticism towards the efficiency of distant technologies. Moreover, the students do not perceive digital technologies as a tool that demands the reinterpretation of educational principles and teachers’ roles and the comprehension of specific didactics. All this has proved the necessity for purposeful and systematic training of would-be teachers for applying technologies of distant education. HTML PDF

The understanding of the infozone as a digital solution that contributes to the organization of educational work of the university, the qualitative transfer of information to students, is the basis for considering the infozone as a means of civic formation of teachers-educators. Based on the results of a study conducted on the basis of the Arzamas branch of UNN, the article presents a model of the organization of an information zone based on a set of conditions for its implementation, content criteria, structure as a system of components, from the standpoint of system-structural, competence-based, reflexive-evaluative approaches, is able to involve students in the preparation of information about university events, contribute to motivation to achieve success in professional and socially-oriented activities. The structure of the infozone is proposed, consisting of a target block (prepared by the INFOSAN administrator); a block (filled in by a representative of the faculty); a block of important information (from the administration) and updated modules, and the content consists of news, organizational, cultural, educational and professionally-oriented components. Much attention is paid to the implementation of practice-oriented education, which is based on the competence approach and involves the formation of students ' life competencies and provided by the level-variable training.The process of education of children with special needs of psychophysical development is considered from the point of view of the implementation of the ethno-cultural approach. The achievements of the scientific, methodological and educational support of the existing special education focus on the socialization of students, the assimilation of the typical experience inherent in the Belarusian people and the ability to use and reproduce it.As one of the ways to improve the quality of life and improve the content of teaching children with special needs of mental development, the authors suggest the organization of training based on the continuous formation of life competencies.Great importance is also given to the transformation of existing training technologies and content taking into account the needs of students with special psychophysical development. All technologies contain a health-saving component, taking into account a practice-oriented approach that ensures the formation of the necessary system of competencies. In the conditions of special education the full implementation of learning technologies is possible based on an interdisciplinary approach that ensures the modification and consistency of knowledge and achievements of various psychological, pedagogical and medical sciences.   • Adaptive Lesson Strategy as a Means of Individualizing Educational

Among them, children with special health needs should be identified as needing serious adaptation of all components of the educational system: goals and objectives, content, conditions, forms and methods, means of education. Monitoring of individual psychosocial development of students is considered by us as the most effective tool for quality control and timely correction of content and organization of educational process in conditions of inclusion. The article reveals the author’s approach, which considers the resources of interaction of school specialists as the basis for achieving such changes. The study presented in the article is aimed at studying the professional behavior of a teacher and psychologist at different stages of monitoring the individual psychosocial development of a student with special health needs. The types of professional behavior of a teacher and a psychologist during their interaction (“isolation”, “chaotic movement”, “forced interaction”, “purposeful interaction”, “real cooperation”) are distinguished. The need is justified and an adaptive lesson strategy is developed, which involves professionally valuable formats of interaction between a teacher and a psychologist at different stages of its design. Effective ways of overcoming meaning, operational and targeting barriers are defined on the basis of new dialogic formats of such interaction between specialists providing individualization of educational environment for students with different educational needs. The scale of the problem is determined, first of all, by the fact that the development of a scientific justification and the practical operationalization of the adapting lesson methods contributes to ensuring the inclusion of a student with special health needs in educational activities and increases its both academic and social success.   • Electronic Etiquette during the Pandemic: Theory and Practice of Teaching

      Authors : Marina Kulinich, Elena Makeeva, Natalia Orlova : In 2020 the coronavirus pandemic reached almost every country in the world and challenged their educational systems. This situation forced educators to shift to an online mode of teaching overnight. Many academic institutions that were earlier reluctant to change their traditional pedagogical approaches had no other option but to shift entirely to online teaching and learning. Thus, the role of ICTs in education, and email communication, in particular, has increased dramatically during the pandemic. A significant part of the educational process has turned to correspondence of students and teachers by corporate mail, to communication in chats and during online conferences. At the same time, students' lack of knowledge of electronic etiquette was revealed. They do not realise that writing status-congruent emails is a skill that requires high pragmatic competence and awareness of politeness conventions and email etiquette (also known as ‘netiquette’). It turned out that most students had no ideas of electronic communication rules and did not observe even basic rules of electronic communication. So, students of two universities (teacher training and technical) were given a questionnaire on electronic etiquette. Then the authors analysed and compared students’ answers and came up with recommendations on teaching electronic etiquette to students based on the test results. These recommendations can be further used in teaching practices, during English classes mostly. HTML PDF

The research in this area, which actualizes modern trends in the study of the characteristics of the younger generation, is presented. One of the important areas of interest for high school students is to study and plan options for their future profession. Scientists consider the image of the professions of the future as a connection between the current life situation of a student and the promising life aspirations of a high school student, which determine the possibility of their implementation in the future.   • Procrastination, stress and academic performance in students

      Authors : Elena Kuftyak : As postponing action strategy, for the last moment the procrastination is one of the factors causing the problems in study. The objective of the study is identification of links between indicators of academic procrastination, stressors, responses to stressors and academic achievements. The research was implemented on the base of sample which amounted 435 from 17 to 25 years old (М age = 19,03). The comparative procrastination analysis among groups of students with different levels of academic performance has shown that student with low level of achievement are inclined to more often suffer from procrastination, be lazy impulsively make a decision during the establishing of their personal time, care frustration, stress and anger. The correlation analysis data allow for the conclusion that a high level of procrastination is related to stress and academic failure. The analyse of links between procrastinations and stressors, and also reactions on it among students has shown that the higher the social anxiety, failure avoidance, procrastination frequency, lazy, worse perfectionism and impulsive, the higher he values all stressors and impressive of reactions on it. In this way, academic procrastination impedes the effectiveness of student study, effects on performance, contributes to stress, that undoubtedly impacts on professional development of future specialists.   • Designing E-Courses for Hearing Impaired Students: Practices and

The paper presents the practices of online learning for such students at Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University. The paper is aimed at publishing the results of research related to designing electronic courses for deaf and hearing impaired students, including adaptation of the videos, the use of an e-dictionary of terms, graphic and text materials illustrated by e-courses on Descriptive geometry and English language taught at Kalashnikov ISTU.The study was conducted at the Centre for inclusive education at Kalashnikov Izhevsk State Technical University, the experiments involved 11-19 hearing-impaired students majoring in Mechanical Engineering. The students were asked to participate in a series of experiments involving the use of video materials, different graphic forms of information presentation and an electronic terms dictionary. The participants were asked to answer test questions about presented material, fill in questionnaires and discuss the experiment.As a result of our study, the following typical structure of an e-course units was proposed: each unit starts with the introduction of an e-vocabulary of terms (in Russian sign language), followed by a test for comprehension of the presented terms, then presents the theoretical material in the form of video lectures with subtitles, lecture notes, activity book, step-by-step instructions to perform tasks and additional materials.   • Distance learning in the period of pandemic COVID-19: comparing,
           analyzing, drawing conclusions

      Authors : Olga Kozarenko, Victoria Skakunova : The purpose of the research is to study and compare the opinions of teachers and students on DL in the studying process of foreign language. The analysis of the data obtained allows us to identify its strengths and weaknesses, both from the point of view of the organization of the educational process, and from the point of view of its methodological and pedagogical support, and understand how this experience can be used in further organization of online. Research methods. To collect analytical data, an online survey was conducted among about 70 students and the same number of teachers from universities in Central Russia. For the survey, universities were selected with both linguistic and non-linguistic training profiles. As part of the questionnaire, open-ended questions were provided, which made it possible to better know the opinion of the respondents. According to the data obtained, about 70% of students have a positive and even excellent attitude towards DL. Slightly more than 15% were negative about this. Disadvantages of DL: about 60% of teachers and students consider the lack of direct communication as a disadvantage of DL. About 70% of the surveyed categories are dissatisfied with the quality of communication. Results and recommendations: results of the research showed strong and weak sides of the organization of distant learning while its massive integration, in particular, at universities. Statistics that reflect students’ and teachers’ opinion about it, allowed to outline main strategies of its development in terms of foreign language learning in the absence of emergency. HTML PDF

In such conditions, one of the crucial tasks of teacher education is the development of a creative, responsible, independent personality. The purpose of the research is to study the level of student teachers’ creative activity during the COVID-19 pandemic and justify the need to introduce the model of creative activity enhancement in distance learning format. The given research is a pilot experiment of Kazan Federal University and Vyatka State University (Russia) to reveal the components of student teachers’ creative activity, to develop criteria for assessing their creative activity; to identify the problems and challenges student teachers face when studying in a distance learning format; to propose ways to increase students’ creative potential by means of active methods and techniques through distance learning technologies at the Microsoft Teams platform.   • Distance Learning of Health and Safety at University during the Pandemic

The education system was forced to urgently switch to an online format without alternative options. In a short time, participants of the educational process needed to improve their ability to work with online resources. The study aimed at analyzing the main aspects of distance learning, determine the features of teaching the discipline "Health and Safety" during the pandemic. The study relied on the theoretical methods such as the analysis of educational and scientific-methodical literature and empirical methods such as questionnaires, pedagogical observation, and comparison. The study involved first- and second-year students of Vyatka State University studying the discipline "Health and Safety". The features of the organization of distance learning at the university during the pandemic were analyzed; the positive and negative aspects of such form of training were identified. Students noted the main problems associated with the formation of practical skills when studying the discipline "Health and Safety". They are related to first aid measures, rules of behavior, algorithms for actions in dangerous and emergency situations, use of protective equipment. Regardless of the importance of distance learning in the current conditions and efficacy of the use of electronic educational resources, this form cannot be considered a full substitute of traditional education.   • The Results of Piloting the Practically Oriented Model of Future Primary
           School Teachers Training

The article presents the analysis of methodological approaches to solving this problem, and the results of authors’ empirical study. The study was conducted at the Academy of Psychology and Pedagogy of the Southern Federal University. Ninety-five students of the profile “Primary Education” were tested. According to the results of the empirical study the actual training of primary school teachers is more focused on the formation of students’ professional hard skills competencies which contain fundamental knowledge in the field of pedagogy and psychology, pedagogical research, digital knowledge and skills. The hard skills of half of the respondents are at a high level of formation. Soft skills and self-skills competencies are less developed according to the basic level. The soft skills competencies contain developed systemic and critical thinking, self-organization and self-development and many others. The authors assume and reveal that the formation of self-skills competencies depends on the ability of a teacher to empathize with the students. The study revealed a very close relationship between the level of students’ self-skills competencies and the level of their empathy. The results of the initial stage of the study confirmed the need to develop an innovative model of primary school teachers training, built on the basis of the integration of practice- and fundamental-oriented approaches. The results of the study at the intermediate stage showed some growth of the level of competence formation among the students of the experimental group. HTML PDF

  • Nurturing Love for the Homeland as a Model for Primary School Work

It includes stimulation models of future teachers' interaction with students designated to nurture the love for the homeland recursively and accommodates regional specificities of the alumni professional activity and the employers' needs. Among study methods, we can mention exploring specialized literature for verifying the design model, handling moral development concepts, modelling the system of teachers' value-based competencies, and the glossing technique. Pedagogical modelling is a leading method. The study has been performed for three years. The study revealed a recursive nature of the design model of nurturing the love for the homeland, a professional and moral value reflected in the diffusing stimulation models of interaction between students and primary school children as innovative learning formats and pedagogical techniques. The model of nurturing the love for the homeland promotes coordination of hands-on training of future teachers in professional and moral values in various fields of study; content orthogonality of the educational design model encompassing different ways of cooperating with museums, libraries, and cultural sites outside the lecture halls; raising public resources in order to implement it, which allows the students to produce facilitating stimulation models; axiological priorities in teacher education forming a comprehensive training system and fostering continuity of core curricula at any level of education. The analysis of current translation vacancies and a survey of employers of translation companies, LSPs and companies’ international departments allow the authors to identify a relevant list of necessary supra-professional skills of modern graduates of language faculties who plan to develop their career in the field of translation and/or international relations. Based on the information obtained from the analysis of vacancies and employers’ survey, supra-professional skills are arranged into the groups of personal, interpersonal, and digital skills. Besides, some recommendations are provided to form and develop the identified supra-professional skills in teaching language and translation disciplines both at the bachelor’s and master’s levels. The authors rely on their practical educational experience at the School of International Relations of MGIMO University and the Faculty of Foreign Languages of the Samara State University of Social Sciences and Education. The article focuses on identifying the" innovativeness " of teachers, on determining the possession of an emotional and evaluative attitude to innovations, as well as on innovative competence, which ensures the effectiveness of using the latest technologies while working with gifted students. The following research methods were used: analysis of special (psychological and pedagogical) literature; survey; observation. The research involved 50 teachers who took advanced training courses "Psychological and pedagogical technologies for working with gifted children". To identify the readiness of teachers for innovative pedagogical (educational) activities, a questionnaire consisting of 6 blocks was conducted.According to the results of the survey, the readiness (full and partial) of teachers working successfully with gifted students – participants of the survey for innovative pedagogical activities was established. A person often falls under the influence of social media. A shared post has a considerable impact on its creator’s personality and relationship with others. Also, it can become the source of risk (hype, bullying). Open and accessible Internet services make young people and children vulnerable to information crimes. In view of this, social media presents an important field for risk-based research in education. The most outstanding and atrocious example of what cybercriminals are capable of is the suicide game ‘Blue Whale’. The research objective is to analyze the operating principles and mechanisms for the dissemination of destructive communities on social media websites drawing on the example of the community ‘Blue Whale’, popular in Russia and Poland in 2014-2017. Destructive communities on social media websites and personal accounts were analyzed with regard to data security. Media publications related to the activities of the ‘Blue Whale’ community from 2014 to 2017 were also studied. A key component in the analysis is the study of public opinion and the response of the education system to the activities of the ‘Blue Whale’ community. In one respect, the topic of ‘Blue Whale’ was viewed as a taboo. For a long time, society and the education system did not see the game as a threat. Thus, it quickly spread globally and led to tragic consequences. At the same time, social media websites were positioned as a networking place void of risks.   • Academic Performance in Different Learning Formats: Contribution of
           Procrastination and Coping Strategies

Varnavskaya : The purpose of this research was to study the effect on academic performance of changing the learning format and the contribution of procrastination and coping strategies to the academic performance of students, when changing the learning format from contact to distance. Research methods: analysis of academic performance, Lay General Procrastination Scale in adapted by Vindeker, COPE Kraver in adaptation by Rasskazova; Greenglass Proactive Coping Behavior questionnaire, adaptation by Starchenkova; mathematical methods. The sample size was 151 people. According to the results: 1) The learning format affects the academic performance of students. The nature of this influence, along with external factors, is mediated by a number of psychological characteristics of students, in particular, the level of procrastination and the nature of coping strategies. 2) When switching from contact to distance learning, the success of educational activities was associated with the level of academic performance. The transition to the distance format led to an improvement in the performance of senior students. 3) Students with low academic performance have a higher level of general procrastination associated with delay in making vital decisions than students with high academic performance. 4) Students with low academic performance are more likely to use humor as a coping strategy, and this is associated with a deterioration in academic performance. High academic students are more likely to find emotional support, and this is associated with improved academic performance. The research result can be used in the development of work programs of academic disciplines in a differentiated manner for senior and junior students. HTML PDF

Websites with educational content offer a wide variety of online digital learning materials. The question is whether these resources can be effectively implemented in the organization of distance FL learning.Whereas the study is aimed at the analysis of the educational potential of the Surgut State Pedagogical University (SurGPU) electronic learning managing system (LMS) and the selection of authentic online platforms for distance FL learning education. Moreover, the paper task is to describe the results of the presented Internet resources implementation based on students’ opinion survey data.The material for the study was various digital resources commonly used by the lecturers of the Linguistic Education and Cross-cultural Communication Department (German and French online platforms as well as the University LMS) and data retrieved from questionnaires and interviews of the Foreign Language direction students.The methods were general theoretical and empirical, including statistical data analysis, critical analysis of the educational material, and the content of the implemented training program.As a result, the authors reveal active but haphazard use of digital educational resources before the outbreak of the pandemic. However, with the transition to global distance learning, FL students note an increase in digital educational materials used in the educational process, as well as their effective use in the organization of distance learning in the system of professional foreign language education. The educational system is the key institution of socio-cultural and socio-psychological adaptation. Scientists write about the need to develop special measures, educational programs aimed at integrating migrant children into a new socio-cultural environment, and organizing comprehensive educational work with migrant children. It is also pointed out that the teaching and learning process of migrant children should include the study of the personality of a migrant student as a socio-pedagogical phenomenon, to the justification of the specifics of the goals, content and methods of educational work with migrant children in a foreign cultural educational environment. They point to the development of a special program for their education and upbringing, the identification of features of adaptation, cultural identification and self-realization in various socio-cultural conditions. The purpose of the study is to test the effectiveness of the authors’ program of teaching migrant children in primary school. Quantitative research methods and an anonymous survey were conducted. An education program for teaching and socialization of migrant children in primary school was created. Methodological recommendations on the use of modern technologies and the practice of educational activities of primary school teachers with migrant children were developed.   • Development of Online Simulators for Literary Reading in Primary School

Federal-state educational standards of primary general education are aimed at developing the reading competence of young schoolchildren in primary school teachers, developing the ability to read consciously and thoughtfully. This contradiction can be resolved using online literary reading simulators, which are a universal tool for the development of reading competence and the formation of digital literacy in junior schoolchildren. The purpose of the study is to develop online simulators for literary reading for primary schools. In the course of our research, we have developed online simulators for literary reading for primary schools and new content of primary literary education; we presented digital learning technologies in the form of online simulators in literary reading lessons; we created a unified digital platform for teaching primary school students literary reading based on author's online simulators. We have proved that the development and use of author's online simulators in the lessons of literary reading in primary school contribute to the shaping of reading skills; the ability to work with a book; the formation of skills and abilities of actual reading activity, providing perception, interpretation and evaluation of a work of art as the art of the word; the formation of digital literacy of younger schoolchildren. The results of the study can be used in the educational process in primary school, in the practice of primary school teachers, as well as of higher school teachers, teachers of additional education and subject teachers. Modern educational process is similar to the knowledge management, and this turns the university teacher to an organizer, navigator and coordinator of a student's learning trajectory. Innovative pedagogical activity implies readiness of a university teacher for knowledge management in the course of pursuing his/her professional activities. The pilot study conducted at Samara University has revealed non-mature structural components of cognitive university teacher readiness for knowledge management (value-motivational, instrumental-digital, scientific-research, evaluation-analytical, interactive-communicative, and academic-and-business components), which may hinder the HEIs transition to "University 4.0" model. The article presents the findings of empirical research carried out to investigate the cognitive university teacher’s readiness for knowledge management, with due regard to comparative, correlation and factor analysis of the components that make up the readiness structural scheme. The sample includes 120 teachers and scholars. The goal of research study is to identify and strengthen the relations both between the components of readiness and between the dominant indicators of structural elements. The results shows that the pedagogical tools developed for forming readiness of a cognitive university teacher for knowledge management have a positive impact on their professional growth and innovative educator development. Justified the role and functions of ICT in the professional activity of a speech therapist teacher, presented the process of developing ICT competence and the ability of students in the "Speech Therapy" profile to participate in the development of educational programs, to develop their individual components based on project activities. The purpose of this study is to provide a scientific justification for the transition to distance learning for bachelors of the "Speech Therapy" profile during the period of restrictive measures. The article examines the experience of the department of Special (Defectological) Education of the Pedagogical Institute of the NEFU. During the study, students were observed, compiled the experience of teachers of the department of SDE, and collected the data related. The results obtained allow us to conclude about the effectiveness of the use of ICT in distance learning as a means of improving the ICT competence of bachelors in the "Speech Therapy" profile to use electronic educational resources in correctional speech therapy work.   • Students’ Educational Motivation Features in the Context of Distance

Ivanova : The research was aimed at studying the influence of distance learning format on the educational activity motivation of full-time students, as well as at conducting a comparative analysis of the 1st and 2nd year full-time students' educational activity motivation in the context of traditional and distant learning formats. The article presents the results of the study conducted in Cherepovets State University.Theoretical background is primarily based on the studies of activity motivation phenomenology. To collect empirical data, a standardized diagnostic technique “Scales of internal and external motivational orientation” by Amabil (adaptation of Gordeeva and Osin) and survey methods were used. The results analysis showed that in distance learning conditions, the number of students with internal motivation decreased from 32% in 2019 to 28% in 2020, while the number of students with external negative motivation increased significantly from 29% in 2019 to 42% in 2020. To understand the reasons for the changes in educational activity motivation, the survey of students and teachers was carried out.The comparative analysis of educational activity motivation of full-time students in traditional and distance learning formats, the analysis of external and internal reasons for negative tendencies manifestation in changing educational motivation allowed us to identify and to test the tools for supporting the students’ internal motivation and minimizing negative trends arising in the process of forming educational motivation in the context of distance learning. The article conceptually presents a comparative analysis of scientific approaches to the concept of «educational activity» in foreign and Russian research practice. On the basis of generalization of sources, clarification and interpretation of formulations, a new approach to understanding educational activity is proposed for the professional readiness of a young teacher to improve the professional competencies of the teaching staff of a general education school. The author solves the urgent problem of improving the professional competencies of teaching staff with work experience who have not undergone special training for organizing the educational process in a distance format. Young teachers acted as advanced translators of online communication tools in the school pedagogical community. The article presents the results of an online survey of 170 young teachers from 30 general education organizations of the Volga Federal District using the Google Docs application. The undertaken research and the conclusions drawn based on its results expand the discourse on the national system of lifelong pedagogical education. It is emphasized that the educational activity of a young teacher allows you to design an individual trajectory of professional growth «in the workplace», to build relationships that create space for improving the professional competencies of colleagues. The authors consider the development track of the teacher's competence in character education throughout the entire professional life cycle in the regional socio-pedagogical cluster. Experimental research has confirmed the need to update the formation of character education competence both for the teaching staff of a teacher university, who are responsible for organizing the professional character education, and for the future teachers who will come to school tomorrow. Thus, the creation of an inclusive culture becomes an essential issue for teachers. The purpose of the study is to analyze the implementation strategy to develop an inclusive culture of teachers. In the innovative experience of higher education, there is a certain practice of integrating classroom and extracurricular independent work of students, which today requires deep analysis and systematization. The purpose of the study is to identify and systematize the main directions of integration of classroom and extracurricular work of students in modern higher education. Research methods that were applied are analysis and generalization of scientific and pedagogical literature on the problem, comparison, systematization. The results of the study. Depending on the degree of interrelation of the integrated structures, the following models of integration of classroom and extracurricular independent work of students are distinguished: traditional; the “flipped learning” model, which assumes the organization of traditional classroom and extracurricular independent work "on the contrary"; the project-research model, which assumes the implementation of a closed cycle of productive activities by students – from the idea, design to the implementation of the project and reflection. System integration is achieved through the use of an interconnected sequence of educational tasks: operational – as mini-projects of educational activity; tactical, corresponding to supra-situational activity – larger educational projects, where students can already set their own goals, actively apply their knowledge in various subjects in practice; strategic – tasks of the creative level, corresponding to the creative activity of the individual. Conclusions and recommendations. In the modern educational process, extracurricular independent work of students is increasingly acquiring the status of the main form of organizing learning process. Strengthening the role of independent work requires a new view on the integration of classroom and extracurricular independent work of students. Teachers should make greater use of the opportunities of educational-research projects and the "flipped classroom" technology as modern means and forms of convergence of classroom and extracurricular work of students. Its purpose was assessment of the effective use of distance learning technologies during the pandemic. The advantages of the use of online courses during the pandemic were considered in this study: the students gained important skills (the ability to work independently, use different sources to obtain information, implement projects with the use of digital technology, etc.), the higher education institutions became more competitive since they can provide unique educational courses to a greater number of Russian and foreign students. The combined learning experience became another positive legacy of the pandemic. A number of problems related to the use of distance learning technologies were identified in the course of the study: the insufficiently developed informational infrastructure of higher education institutions, reduced psychological readiness of professors and students to use digital services and platforms in the educational process, for multichannel interaction, etc. HTML PDF

It is also obvious the earlier a child learns the basics of ecology, the more environmentally literate he will be, no matter what profession he will choose. Of particular interest today is the study of the impact of distance learning on the formation of environmental culture, especially during the coronavirus pandemic, which has provoked implementation of e-learning and distance learning technologies everywhere. Based on the above, the purpose of the study is to identify the impact of distance learning on the formation of environmental culture of schoolchildren.   • Future Teachers’ Training in the Context of Education Digitalization

Modern conditions put forward new requirements for the personnel training, for the training of personnel of the future, require the search for new effective forms and methods of organizing the future teachers’ professional training, including using distance learning technologies. Higher educational institutions of Russia (V.I. Vernadsky Crimean Federal University, Kazan Federal University) accumulate, summarize and present their experience in the field of teaching staff professional training, taking into account the frontal strategy of socio-economic development of the Russian Federation, priorities 2030, regional policy. The study purpose is to conduct a pilot project for training teachers in the context of education digitalization. Research methods: theoretical methods (comparative analysis of the research subject based on the study of scientific literature and the results of modern psychological and pedagogical research); empirical methods: questioning the faculty and students of federal universities, analyzing the results of students’ activities, observing and analyzing the educational process. The study allows us to conclude that it is necessary to update the content, methodological support for the pedagogical personnel’s professional training, taking into account the requirements of the present. As the Russian educational system is being modernised, much attention is paid to the inclusion of digital technologies and digital-based modes of study in the educational process. It certainly entails new challenges for the educational system, which needs time to adapt in order to integrate with the digital environment. The problem under study is relevant, firstly, due to the urgent need to introduce the tools of the digital learning environment into the established teaching model in the national education system. Secondly, the efficiency and quality of teaching depends on overcoming the existing digital divide in teachers' competences. The main research methods were the analysis of the concepts of digital society and digital literacy, the structuring of the main competences of a modern teacher that are crucial to ensure his/her competitiveness in the digital economy, and identifying existing digital gaps in the design and implementation of digitalisation in teacher education. To assess digital literacy, a questionnaire-based survey of both students – future teachers, and practising teachers, was chosen as the leading research method. The conducted study on the assessment of pedagogical digital literacy identufied the existing digital divide in the design and implementation of the educational process as well as the opportunities for enhancing the interaction of its participants by incorporating technical tools and digital learning technologies. The research made it possible to determine a new vector in the construction of the pedagogical landscape of the modern learning environment in universities, aimed at preparing future teachers’ creative and self-developing personalities.   • Axiological approach to prevention of deviant behavior of blind students

It is emphasized that there are practically no studies on the specifics of the value orientations of blind children as a factor determining their behavior. This article presents the results of the theoretical substantiation and survey, focused on the prevention of deviant behavior, (the author's method of L. P. Girfanova, aimed at identifying the attitude of children to universal values) of 10-11th grade students of the Ufa Correctional Boarding School No. 28 for blind and visually impaired students. It is shown that it is necessary to introduce such an element of prevention as value orientations of individuals that underlie their motivation of behavior. The value characteristics of the individual acquire special relevance in the conditions of increasing threats to life and health that have developed in the modern world due to the fact that there is a natural connection between the stability of the individuals’ value orientations and the economic, socio-political and spiritual life of society. The practical significance of the research lies in understanding of the key role of the axiological approach in public prevention and social education of this category of children, providing them with “a worthy social position” in the system of public relations, as well as understanding of the essence of prevention as the formation of the value orientations stability and normative behavior of the individual.   • Future teacher training for the formation creativity of students

At the same time, it is necessary to focus on the systematic conduct of a problem demonstration natural science experiment, the implementation of tasks in the PISA format, individual and group creative case studies, the use of mind maps in teaching, and regular extracurricular activities aimed at developing creativity on special natural science material. Organizational and pedagogical conditions for the preparation of future teachers for the formation creativity of students on the basis of natural science material are revealed. This is the inclusion of special topics in the practice of methodological disciplines; application and use of the possibilities of digital educational resources in the educational process of the university in order to form the creativity of students of teacher education; specially organized pedagogical practice with an emphasis on training future teachers in the formation of students' creativity. The analysis of the results of experimental activities showed a positive dynamics in the development of students' creativity in teaching chemistry during the period of teaching practice by students - future teachers. It was revealed that students of grades 8-9 of lyceums are able to generate useful ideas, to identify creative ways of solving educational research problems, to think out of the ordinary. HTML PDF

  • Teachers’ Values as Predictors of Socio-Psychological Safety in a

Among various characteristics of the teacher, it is necessary to highlight the importance of a special class of phenomena - values and value orientations. Values form a holistic motivational structure and integrate into one system with other components, such as attitudes and behavior. The purpose of this study is to understand the influence of the values of the teacher on the socio-psychological safety of the classroom. The focus of the study is on the following questions: Do the teacher's value orientations affect the class's socio-psychological safety' If so, what particular values affect the safety of the class' In addition, how do they relate to each other' In the framework of the acmeological approach, we used quantitative research methods: structural equation modeling (SEM), comparative analysis. Technique: “Adolescence socio-cultural safety index”, the Schwartz Value Survey and the Portrait Values Questionnaire. The study sample consisted of 38 teachers and their 510 students at the age of 11-16 years. It was concluded that the values of the teacher influence the socio-psychological safety of the classroom, which determines the importance of the acmeological aspect of the teacher's personality analysis. The basis of a safe educational environment depends on self-transcendent and conservative values of the teacher. The results of the study can be applied to create a safe learning environment of the school. HTML PDF

  • Focused Attention Technique in Teaching Future Language Teachers to Read

A complex semiotic structure – creolized text – was chosen as a tool for constructing such educational situations. The authors continue to study the educational potential of film fragments – creolized texts – used as a didactic means of teaching to make detailed utterances, as well as a model for improving students’ speech. The purpose of the study is to substantiate possibility of using classical works of Russian cinematography in teaching philology students, as well as of using a specialized case study of educational situations for a language teacher capable of developing reading skills and forming educational actions of schoolchildren. Among the specific research objectives, the authors consider the determination of the educational potential of using creolized texts in the process of professional training of future teachers of the Russian language, the analysis of how schoolchildren perceive the screen adaptations of the Russian literature. The research was carried out based on theoretical research method and experimental work in order to test the hypothesis about the effectiveness of the use of creolized texts in the linguo-methodological training of philology students.   • Quantifiable structure of professional language competence

Given the fundamentally integrative nature of competencies, they tend to have more and more complex structures. This paper discusses the structure of one such competence, professional language competence, especially relevant to future technical university graduates who have to be able not only to solve professional problems but also use a foreign language to help them do this.The purpose of this study is to find out the component-wise structure of professional language competence of future technical university graduates and show experimentally that its development level can be assessed quantitatively, thus guaranteeing its development in students.The main research methods are pedagogical experiment, testing, method of expert group assessment. The pedagogical experiment involved 23 second-year students blogging in English on profession-related topics as part of their independent work organized with the author’s pedagogical technology.The results of the study show the effectiveness of this technology. Comparative assessments are provided of the level of different components of professional language competence as well as subcomponents of one such component. The monitoring of the changes in subcomponents and components of professional language competence allows a teacher to identify weaknesses in linguistic training and difficulties that students face in their independent work so that one address them in a timely and systematic manner.   • Research and forecasting of educational process parameters by using
           artificial intelligence

Galimyanov, Fail Gafarov, Liliya Khairullina, Alina Muzafarova : In this paper we present the results of an interdisciplinary research based on the application of big data, date science, artificial intelligence and machine learning methods in educational analytics. Artificial intelligence techniques applied for the analysis of depersonalized data stored in the information and analytical system "E-education in the Republic of Tatarstan" from 2015 to 2020. BigData technologies were used in this work to perform high-performance computing related to initial preprocessing of raw data in computation cluster. By using the methods of artificial intelligence, we modelled one of the most important stages in the formation of the educational trajectories of schoolchildren, associated with the fact that after the 9th grade, schoolchildren either continue their studies in high school (grades 10-11), or move to the professional educational organizations. As the input data for neural network training, we used a vector containing the average marks for all quarters of pupils, obtained by using high-performance Dask-based cluster data processing system from initial raw data. We concluded that multi-layer neural network with two hidden layers was able to predict the pupil’s pass to 10th grade, and achieved the best performance with classification accuracy exceeding 70%. Also, the performance of trained neural network had been analyzed by visualization of Receiver Operator Characteristic (ROC)-curve and by calculation of recall, precision, specificity and area covered by the ROC-curve (AUX) parameters.   • Development of the students’ creativity in the lessons of native

In particular, at the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication of the Kazan (Volga Region) Federal University (IFMK KFU), the professional training of graduate students enrolled in the training area of 44.04.01 "Pedagogical Education" includes elective disciplines "Development of the creative beginning of students in the lessons of Tatar literature", "Development and use of innovative teaching materials on literature", which allow forming not only the professional skills of undergraduates but also contribute to the formation of a creative approach to conducting classes in literature.Purpose of the study: to theoretically substantiate and develop practical guidelines for studying native (Tatar, Russian) literature at school based on the development of students' creativity, which will help to increase the emotional and aesthetic impact of literature on students and diversify the methods of working on the text.Research results: in the development of practical classes of elective disciplines conditions are created for the formation of a creative beginning in future teachers of literature and native (Russian and Tatar) literature, as well as for teaching modern innovative and interactive technologies. In the lessons of native (Russian, Tatar) literature students use the following types of discussions: educational-critical, educational-literary, including commentary-textological.   • The Main Directions of University Professors' Research-Oriented Activity

  • Anthropological Model of Specialist Training at University

While analyzing the problems of teacher training for preschool education we discovered that this education is mainly academic, far from practice and the developed methodological ideas. The methodology of the study is based on the statement that thinking and speech are interdependent processes (Vygotsky, 1999), as well as on the structural approach to communication analysis (Morgenthaler, 1980). The study lasted for three years (2017-2020). They were used in cognitive, i.e. literature, speech and rhetoric classes. All together 8 groups of exercises were used in the experiment: 4 groups of traditional physical training exercises and 4 groups of non-standard musical-dancing ones. Dancing groups of exercises included music and acrobatic rock-and-roll movements (Bogdashin, 2020). The experiment (evidence from developing physical and cognitive regulatory functions in children) result showed that preschool teachers professional training must be of anthropological nature, in other words, be focused on revealing and studying the internal principles of child development; and projecting techniques for preschool education should be based on these principles. All that allowed us to conclude that the anthropological model of specialist training at university should be not only practice-oriented but also research-oriented. Herewith, students’ research work must be not just academic but also action-oriented. HTML PDF

  • The first years of the teacher’s work: risks for the head of the school
           and risks for an early-career teacher

Based on the foregoing, the study aims to analyze the current situation in a rural school that hires an early-career teacher. The article examines the risks faced by the head of the school when hiring a young specialist as well as the risks faced by early-career teachers. This study will help identify gaps in the methodological support provided by the school management aimed at developing the professional skills of early-career teachers. In this study, we used the analysis of scientific papers on the problem highlighted, the survey method, the questionnaire method, the method of comparative data analysis and mathematical methods. The paper presents the result of a survey and questioning of school heads of the republic who have recruited young specialists over the past three years. It also provides the survey results of early-career teachers who have been working in schools of the republic for less than three years. Our research helped identify the risks faced by an early-career teacher in a modern school, to distribute those into groups, depending on the location of the school (urban or rural). The research results can be used to work out special modules, training courses or optional courses for curricula in the teacher training programs. HTML PDF
