      Abstract: This research was motivated by the lack of development of innovative contextual-based learning media. The aims of this research were (1) to develop a food theme science bulletin as an energy source based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) which is oriented towards critical thinking skills, and (2) to determine the feasibility level of a food theme science bulletin as an energy source based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) which is oriented towards critical thinking skills. The method used was research and development of a 4-D model modified by Thiagaradjan. The research was conducted in 3 stages: define, design, and develop. The instrument used was a validation sheet which is validated by expert lecturers and junior high school science teachers. The results showed that (1) the process of developing a science bulletin was carried out using three stages of the 4-D model, such as define, namely problem identification, design, namely producing products and instruments, and developing stage, namely obtaining product feasibility, (2) feasibility level of food science bulletins. as an energy source based on Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) oriented to critical thinking skills, it gets a very decent category from material experts and media experts, each getting a percentage of 87.48%, for material experts and 91.40% for media experts. Based on the overall validation value, if on average it gets a percentage of 89.44% in the very feasible category, so that science bulletins can be used as learning media and can be tested in science learning in schools.

      Abstract: The cause of COVID-19, namely SARS-CoV-2, continues to mutate form a new variant. The latest variant that has been detected, namely variant Omicron or known as variant B.1.1.529, has a speed of high transmission rate up to 5 times that of the previous variant, including Delta variant. Since the last peak of daily Covid-19 cases was in July 2021 hits 56,000 new cases per day, for the first time in 2022 new case rate hits 64,147 positive confirmed cases as of 16 February 2022, especially in Riau Province, there was an additional of new active cases 539. This figure is considered quite high because Riau Province is included in the top 10 province with the highest number of positive cases at this time. The purpose of this research is to analyze the capacity of the Riau Provincial Health Office in preventing a drastic increase in the positive rate. Based on research results the capacity of the Riau Provincial Health Office in preventing an increase in the positivity rate The omicron variant focuses on mitigation and preparedness enhancement including: (1) promotion of healthy lifestyles and tightening of 3M implementation, (2) restrictions community activities, (3) acceleration of vaccines and, (4) provision of facilities and infrastructure hospital. The conclusion in this research despite the Covid-19 prevention the omicron variant is already quite good in Riau Province, some efforts are needed increased by the local government in anticipating the worst-case scenario if The positive rate jumped high considering the challenges in handling Covid-19 from geographical aspects and the availability of laboratory facilities that have not been maximized.

  • Penerapan Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Berbasis Aplikasi Bio Smart Materi
           Sistem Peredaran Darah Manusia Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa

      Abstract: The aim of this research was to describe improvement of student learning outcomes through implementation of interactive learning media based on Bio Smart application on human circulatory system material. The research design used was one-group pretest-posttest design. Samples of this research were students on second grade of junior high school 42 Surabaya two classes, namely VIII G and VIII H as replication class involving 56 students. Data collection techniques were observation, tests, and questionnaires. Research instruments were observation sheets on implementation of learning, test question sheets, and student response questionnaires. Data analysis carried out was analysis of implementation of learning, analysis of student learning outcomes, and analysis of student response questionnaires. Learning outcomes on pretest and posttest were analyzed by Statistical Package for the Social Sciences or SPSS version 26. Analysis contain normality test, homogeneity test, paired t-test, and independent t-test. Moreover, to describe increasing learning outcomes, N-Gain analysis is used. Result of this research is implementation of learning in both classes got results in Very Good category. Student learning outcomes have increased that there was significant difference between results of pretest and posttest in each class. In class VIII G there were 60.71% of students get N-Gain score in the High category. In class VIII H there were 57.14% of students get N-Gain score in High category. Responses given by students to learning from both classes get positive response in Very Good category. Conclusion obtained is implementation of interactive learning media based on Bio Smart applications can improve student learning outcomes.

      Abstract: Science education-based local media on the carbon footprint subject was developed in order to demonstrate the creation and description of the learning media that have been prepared. There are three stages in the R&D process: define, design, and development. The R&D approach is based on Thiagarajan et al. (1974)'s development model. In-depth interviews and expert-led validity tests are undertaken using a variety of instrument. Descriptive quantitative and qualitative analyses were performed on the data. The results of this study obtained a score of 93.8% (very feasible) in terms of feasibility, 98.4% (very feasible) in the presentation aspect, 94.3% (very feasible) in the graphic aspect, and 99.7% (very feasible). in the language aspect. So that when viewed as a whole, the aspect obtained a value of 96.5% with very feasible criteria.

      Abstract: The purpose of this research was to know the influence of the realistic mathematics education with geogebra media towards learning outcomes on geometry based on students’ spatial ability. This research s quasi experimental with experimental group 2x2 factorial research design. Sampling was taken random sampling technique. Before taking the sample, the student's ability equivalence test was conducted in each class using the one-way Anova The gathered data in this research are students’ spatial ability scores obtained from the spatial ability test and learning outcomes of geometry test. The collected data which after were analyzed using two way Anova. Before using two way Anova the data were analized for normality and homogeneity of variance. The results of this study are: (1) There are differences in geometry learning outcomes between students who follow the realistic mathematics education learning model assisted by geogebra media and the learning model commonly applied by teachers, namely the cooperative learning model, (2) There is an interaction of realistic mathematics education assisted by geogebra media with spatial abilities on geometry learning outcomes (Fcount of 5.937(p < 0.05)), this shows that the learning outcomes of geometry among students who attend realistic mathematics education assisted by geogebra media are better than students who take conventional learning in groups of students with spatial abilities.

      Abstract: The E-MagScience product based on Flip PDF Professional on the theme of Food and Healthy to improve the critical thinking skills of junior high school students were made to obtain data efficiently. E-MagScience has supportive rubrics such as technology directing students to experiment with food tests. The superiority of E-MagScience puts interactive quizzes so students can answer directly through the media. The research methods used Research and Development, with the research and development model Borg and Gall (1983), which is adapted to the needs and abilities of researchers with restrictions on three stages, namely: the research and data collection stages, planning and developing a preliminary form of the product. Then this study shows the results of the validity of E-MagScience based on Flip PDF Professional based on validation by material experts achieving a score of 86% in the "Very Valid" category, validation by media experts achieving a percentage value of 90% in the "Very Valid" category and validation by experts the achievement of a percentage value of 90% in the "Very Valid" category. The efficiency level of E-MagScience reached a percentage value of 89% in the "Very Efficient" type.

  • Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning Berbasis Kearifan
           Lokal Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Materi Zat Aditif

      Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of the learning process, improving learning outcomes and student responses by using Problem Based Learning model based on a local wisdom science class of second grade at junior high school. The type of research used a Pre-experimental design and the research design used One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This research was implemented to students in class VIII-G as many as 34 students at Junior High School 34 Surabaya in the 2021/2022 academic year. Data collection techniques were using tests, questionnaires, and observations. The instruments of this research are test sheets in the form of pretest and posttest, student response questionnaires observation sheets. The implementation of learning using the Problem Based Learning model based on local wisdom has an average assessment at the first meeting obtained a percentage of 94.31% and the second meeting 100%. Learning outcomes can be seen in the increase of pretest and posttest which get average N-Gain scores of 0.69 which included the moderate category. Then the results of the effect size analysis show that the effectively of the Problem Based Learning model based on local wisdom is 3.20 with a strong effect. The students gave a positive response to the application of the Problem Based Learning model based on local wisdom with an average percentage of 97,93%. The conclusion of this research is the application of the Problem Based Learning model based on local wisdom can improve student learning outcomes.

      Abstract: The development of learning in the 21st century has a uniqueness that is different from learning in the previous century. This century requires all learning processes to always use technology. Technology can help motivate students and improve skills such as communication skills, creative thinking, critical thinking, and the ability to solve problems. This study aims to analyze the Pedagogical Knowledgeability of science teachers at SMPN 17 Jambi City and to find out whether the teacher's PK ability affects students' learning motivation. This research was a descriptive qualitative research with data collection tools in the form of questionnaires and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the pedagogic knowledgeability of science teachers with a percentage of 85% in the sufficient category was proven to have an effect on students' learning motivation at SMPN 17 Jambi City with indicators motivated by the student's learning environment responding to the agree category with a percentage of 53.5%. The second indicator is paying attention to the teacher when explaining the material, the most students responding agree with the percentage of 43.3%. The third indicator is doing the task on their own accord which contains 2 items of negative statements, the most students giving a disagree response with a percentage of 34.5%, then positive statements from students giving the most agreeing responses with a percentage of 62.1% and the last indicator being an indicator of enthusiasm and enthusiasm. The persistent in doing assignments, students gave the most responses in the agreed category with a percentage of 35.1%.

      Abstract: The aim of this research was to examine the level validation of student worksheets based on science process skills with the theme of acid rain for class VII SMP. This research was an RnD (Research and development) research using a development model by Thiagarajan which was adapted into 3D (define, design and develop). The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire in the form of an assessment instrument for student worksheets. The assessment of the student worksheets consists of the feasibility of content, the feasibility of presentation, the feasibility of science process skills, the feasibility of language and the feasibility of graphics. The results of the assessment carried out by material expert validators, media expert validators and practitioner expert validators on student worksheets based on science process skills on the theme of acid rain for class VII junior high school, namely 90.27% for content feasibility, 92.7% for presentation feasibility, 90.62% for science process skills feasibility, 88.63% for language feasibility and 84,61 for graphics feasibility. So the percentage of the final score for the assessment of the student worksheets is 88.47% with very valid criteria, it means that the student worksheets is suitable for use in science learning.

  • Pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) Untuk Meningkatkan
           Keterampilan Literasi Sains Peserta Didik Pada Materi Laju Reaksi

      Abstract: The purpose of this development research was to describe the feasibility of student worksheet to improve students scientific literacy skills on the reaction rate material in terms of aspects of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The research method refers to the 4-D development model by Thiagarajan which is limited to the develop stage with limited trials to students of class XI science at SMA Negeri 1 Gedangan as many as 30 students. The results of data analysis showed that the feasibility of LKPD from the aspect of validity seen from 4 criteria, namely content, presentation, language, and graphics, the percentage was 93.72%; 93.33%; 90.28%; and 92.78% with very valid criteria. The practicality of LKPD seen from the observation of activities and student response questionnaires obtained a percentage of 98.69% and 95.91% on very practical criteria. The effectiveness of the LKPD is seen from the results of the students pretest and posttest, namely cognitive tests and tests of scientific literacy skills which showed an increase with N-Gain scores of 0.67 and 0.60 in the medium category, respectively. LKPD to improve proper scientific literacy skills is very important to be developed as a learning resource so that it makes the learning process of students meaningful.

      Abstract: This study aims to describe the quality of 8th grade students’ questioning skills in science subjects and the factors affecting it. This descriptive study with a quantitative approach involved 22 students of 8th grade students in an A-accredited school located in Waru District, Sidoarjo Regency. The instrument used was test and interview guidelines. The data collection techniques used was interviews and document analysis. Data analysis was done by grouping student questions based on cognitive level in Revised Bloom's Taxonomy. The results of the study showed that students' questioning skills at the cognitive level of C1 Remembering was 53.6%, C2 Understanding was 31%, C3 Applying was 7%, C4 Analyzing was 6.79%, C5 Evaluating was 2 %. As for the cognitive level of C6 Creating, it did not appear. Moreover, factors that influence the students' questioning skills were their interest in the texts, how important and close the text topics to the students' lives. In conclusion, the students' questioning skills were at low-level with interest in the text as the biggest influence on the students’ questions quality. The implication of this research is in learning, students should make high-level questions at C3 to C6 levels after reading science text.

      Abstract: This study aims to investigate the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of developing flipped classroom with a Scientific Approach to improve students' understanding and skills in writing the descriptive text for the fifth graders of SDN Pucang 1 Sidoarjo. This study used DDD-E model by Ivers & Barron. The data collected were documentation, validation, observation, questionnaire, and test. The data analysis was done using a quantitative method from the analysis of observation data and teachers’ and students’ questionnaires. The result of this study showed (1) high validity of flipped classroom model in creating a lesson plan, students’ worksheet, attitude and skills assessment sheet and study result test. (2) The practicality of the flipped classroom model in accordance with student responses and the implementation of the lesson plan was declared to receive a positive response from the students and the lesson plan was well-implemented. (3) The effectiveness of the flipped classroom model with a scientific approach to improving students’ understanding and writing skills of descriptive text. In the field trial the t-statistic = 26,889 > t-table = 2,042 which means that there is a significant difference between X1 and X2. Based on these results, it was concluded that the understanding and writing skills of the fifth-grade students were improved after using the flipped classroom model with a scientific approach.

      Abstract: Kinerja guru dalam proses belajar mengajar sains merupakan indikator penting mencapai tujuan pendidikan. Faktor-fakor yang diduga mempengaruhi peningkatan kinerja guru dalam pembelajaran sains antara lain disiplin kerja dan motivasi kerja seorang guru. Hal inilah yang melatarbelakangi penelitian terkait rendahnya kinerja guru dalam pembelajaran sains di SMKN se Kab. Pekalongan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisa pengaruh disiplin kerja (X1) terhadap kinerja pembelajaran sains (Y), motivasi kerja (X2) terhadap kinerja pembelajaran sains (Y), dan pengaruh keduanya secara bersama terhadap kinerja pembelajaran sains (Y) di SMKN se Kab. Pekalongan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan sampel 160 guru dari seluruh sekolah menengah kejuruan negeri di Kab. Pekalongan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik pengambilan acak yang semua uji korelasinya menggunakan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara disiplin kerja (X1) terhadap kinerja pembelajaran sains (Y) sebesar 56,6% dengan dimensi yang paling lemah adalah taat aturan waktu, korelasi antara motivasi kerja (X2) terhadap kinerja pembelajaran sains (Y) sebesar 8,9% dengan kelemahan pada dimensi motivasi intrinsik, dan korelasi yang signifikan antara kedua variabel X1 dan X2 secara bersamaan terhadap kinerja pembelajaran sains (Y) di SMKN se Kab. Pekalongan sebesar 56,2% dengan persamaan regresi '= 18,787 + 2,083 X1 + 0,154 X2. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, peneliti memberikan rekomendasi bahwa guru hendaknya meningkatkan kedisiplinan, motivasi, prestasi dalam melaksanakan pekerjaan dengan penuh rasa tanggung jawab dan pimpinan sekolah senantiasa memantau kinerja guru dalam pembelajaran sains dan memberikan dorongan supaya para guru termotivasi dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja. selain itu, Pemerintah hendaknya memberikan pembinaan intensif kepada sekolah terkait kedisiplinan dan menganggarkan dana untuk kegiatan yang menumbuhkan motivasi guru untuk berprestasi dan meningkatkan kinerjanya.

      Abstract: This paper examines research in using Web Based Inquiry Learning (WBIL) as an alternative to online inquiry learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. WBIL was built to assist junior high school students in understanding everyday science phenomena with a guided inquiry framework and various scaffolding sources. In addition, it aims to support teachers in designing their virtual inquiry classrooms for the new normal learning era. Learning using Web Based Inquiry Learning is effective in increasing students' inquiry abilities on environmental pollution material in the context of ESD (Educational Sustainable Development) which is marked by the results of the pretest and posttest data t-test calculations, obtained sig. 0.000 (0.000 < 0.05). While the results of the LKS analysis that students have done on the web with the average score on each indicator is 83.2% with a high interpretation. WBIL in environmental pollution is also effective in increasing students' environmental awareness, which is indicated by the average percentage of all indicators, there is an increase in the percentage from 74.5% to 79.0%.

      Abstract: By linking the domains of science studies, the 2013 curriculum emphasizes integrated science study. Scientific learning is more than just memorizing information and concepts; it must be shown via experiments that allow students to apply science process skills. As part of the production of instructional materials, science process skills are taught. Such as LKPD, which is built on the predict, observe, and explain principle (POE). The goal of this study is to learn more about the creation process and degree of validation of POE-based LKPD training PPP on environmental conservation topics in grade VII SMP. The study was conducted utilizing a 3-D version of the 4-D Research and Development technique, particularly the Define, Design, and Develop stages. A validation questionnaire was filled out by two material expert lecturers, two media experts, and two junior high school science teacher practitioners for the study's instrument. The results showed that the development process used 3D development and that the POE-based LKPD had a level of validity of 90% for material experts with a very valid category, 72% for media experts with a valid category, and 90.5% for junior high school science teachers with a very valid category. The POE-based LKPD may be evaluated in scientific learning to develop science process skills, based on the recapitulation of the validation findings; all validators received an average percentage value of 84% in the extremely valid category.

      Abstract: The aim of this study was to determine the feasibility of android-based teaching materials in the nomenclature of hydrocarbon compounds. The development of android teaching materials can make it easier for students to access teaching materials in a practical way and help understand the nomenclature of hydrocarbon compounds, and it is hoped that students can take advantage of information technology in terms of learning. The research used research and development methods with the ADDIE model. Data collection technique was using validation questionnaires and response questionnaires. The data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of the analysis show that the validation of the material aspect is 91.39% with very feasible criteria , media aspect validation 90% in the very feasible criteria, 94.73% linguist validation in the very feasible criteria, the chemistry teacher response questionnaire was 93.75% with very good criteria, the student response questionnaire for the small group trial obtained a score of 89.32% with very good criteria and the results of the student response questionnaire for the broad scale trial were 89.45% with very good criteria. It can be concluded that android-based teaching materials are in the form of applications with a capacity of 42 MB which were developed with very good student responses and very good teacher responses, so that these teaching materials are very suitable to be used as learning tools.

      Abstract: This research was based on the constraints found in the field about the science learning process in junior high schools. Learning activities oriented to scientific literacy and student independence have not been carried out optimally. Independent learning can be implemented by training it through e-modules based on scientific literacy. This study aims to detail the efficiency level of e-modules based on scientific literacy with the theme let's prepare for disasters to train the learning independence of junior high school students. The method used is Research & Development with the ADDIE model, namely the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. At the implementation stage, the results of the validity of the scientific literacy-based e-module with the theme let's be prepared for disaster to train junior high school students' learning independence showed that based on validation by material experts, the percentage score was 93.7% in the "Very Valid" category, validation by teaching materials experts obtained a percentage value. 89% in the "Very Valid" category and validation by expert educators obtained a percentage of 85.79% in the "Very Valid" category. The results of the efficiency level of e-module products reached a percentage value of 87.16% in the "Very Efficient" category.

      Abstract: At the junior hight school level in carrying out the science learning process, the teacher only applies the lecture method which only provides theory and does not carry put pratical so that students alack interest in learning. This result in the low active participation of students in learning activities and learning outcomes are less satisfactory. As an alternative to overcome partical problems and foster interest in learning, a virtual laboratory based on guided inquiry was developed with the theme of objects around us. The virtual laboratory is validated by experts, namely material experts, media and pratitioners to obtain validity data used in the learning process. The research method used is Research and Development with reference to the development model of Thiagarajan (1974) which was modified in 3 stage. The instruments used are interview sheets and validation sheets. The results of the validity level of guided inquiry-based virtual laboratory with the theme of objects around us obtainded an average value of 92,67% with the ‘very valid’. Based on this assessment, a guided inquiry-based virtual laboratory with the theme of objects around us in fostering interest in learning for students can be applied in learning activities.

      Abstract: Learning activities that lead to creative thinking skills have not been fully implemented.. Creative thinking skills can be trained by developing teaching materials in the form of E-Worksheet which is able to train students' reasoning abilities. The open-ended problem approach is able to direct students to solve problems in various ways. So that the E-Worksheet based on open ended problems is able to give students the freedom to describe the results of creative analysis to solve problems. The purpose of this study is to measure the level of validity of the E-Worksheet based on the open ended problem of the global warming theme to train the creative thinking skills of grade VII students. The method used is research and development or Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D research and development model by Thiagarajan (1975) which is modified as needed by being limited to the development stage until the product validation test. The instrument used is a validation questionnaire sheet that has been tested by instrument experts to determine the level of validity of the developed E-Worksheet. Data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that the level of validity of the E-LKPD based on the open ended problem of the global warming theme obtained a value of 89,1% with the "very valid" category. The results of the assessment are based on the average value of material experts, media experts, and expert practitioners.

      Abstract: Communication skills are one of the skills included in 21stCentury Skills. One way that can be done to grow communication skills is to develop interactive powerpoint media oriented to science communication skills which requires students to be skilled in communicating research results, developing scientific attitudes, and increasing student activity in learning. The purpose of this study was to develop and determine the level of validity of interactive powerpoint learning media on the theme of acid rain which is oriented to the science communication skills of class VII students. This research is included in development research with 4D models, but in this study only uses 3 stages, namely: define, design, and development. The instrument used in this study was a validation sheet filled out by 2 expert lecturers from FKIP Untirta and 3 science teachers at junior high school. The research instruments used were interview sheets and validation questionnaires. The results showed that the interactive powerpoint media developed was included in the Valid category with a percentage value of 79.94%. The results of the validation of material experts obtained a percentage value of 77.00% with valid criteria, media experts 82.81% with very valid criteria and 80.02% junior high school science teachers with valid criteria. Based on the recapitulation of the validation results that have been carried out by all validators of learning media in the form of interactive powerpoints oriented to students' science communication skills on the acid rain theme, it can be tested in science learning activities.

      Abstract: Medicinal plants ant nests or simbagh utak (Hydnophytum formicarum) are found in the Bengkulu area south of Bengkulu province. Simbagh utak tubers (H. formicarum) can empirically treat headaches, bruises and aches. H. formicarum also has cytotoxic, antioxidant and antibacterial activity. The purpose of this study was to determine the antidiabetic activity of the ethanolic extract of the medicinal plant simbagh utak (H. formicarum) against alloxan-induced mice, and Phytochemical Test to determine the content of secondary metabolites contained in the extract. The extract was obtained by maceration by soaking simbagh utak powder (H. formicarum) with 96% ethanol as solvent. The solvent contained in the ethanolic extract of simbagh utak (H. formicarum) was evaporated using a rotary evaporator to obtain ethanolic extract of simbagh utak (H. formicarum). Furthermore, the ethanolic extract of simbagh utak (H. formicarum) was tested on mice that had been induced by alloxan. The results showed that after the ANOVA and T-student statistical tests were carried out, it could be stated that the tuber extract of the Simbagh Utak (H. formicarum) plant was seen to be very significant in reducing blood sugar levels of male mice (Mus musculus) that had been induced by alloxan at a dose of 0.7056 g. /kg BW, and tuber extract of H. formicarum contained flavonoid and phenolic compounds. Flavonoid and phenolic compounds can act as free radical scavengers.

      Abstract: The aim of this study was to develop a science magazine as a teaching material for students on the sub-theme of environmental pollution and to determine the feasibility of this science magazine. The research method used research and development method with the Sugiyono development model. The stages of developing this environmental pollution theme science magazine were: 1) Problem analysis, 2) Data collection, 3) Product design, 4) Product design validation, 5) Product revision, and 6) Product final results. This science magazine was tested by expert validation by several experts from lecturers as well as experts from science subject teachers, and got a validity level from expert I of 100% with very decent criteria, expert II of 65.00% including quite decent criteria, expert III of 95.00% including very feasible criteria, from expert IV 90.00% including very feasible criteria, and expert V by 90.00% with very feasible criteria. Based on the results of the validation test by experts, the average result of the assessment was 88.00% with very feasible criteria.

      Abstract: Linear algebra is a compulsory subject in Computer Systems which has 3 credits. This course is a new course in semester 2 and includes material on vector concepts in R2 (two dimensions) and R3 (three dimension), Euclidian vectors, general vector spaces, inner product spaces, orthonormals and equations of vectors. The teaching materials used were PPT slides compiled from various sources, both from textbooks and from the internet. This study aims to determine the linear algebra material that needs to be developed for students majoring in Computer Systems in offline learning. The subjects in this research were Computer Systems students who are taking linear algebra courses for the 2021/2022 academic year. Data were collected in the form of student test results and questionnaires given openly and then analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results of the study indicate the need for teaching materials that are easily understood by students in solving problems and in accordance with current technological advances. Teaching materials in the form of e-modules can be used as an alternative to support learning in the classroom and can be accessed at any time.

  • Pengaruh Media Podcast Sains Sahabat Sebagai Teman Belajar IPA terhadap

      Abstract: The study was intended to identify the effects of the media podcast as a friend to study high school science on post-covid study. Quantitative research is the type of research used in pre-experiment design, one group preposttest involving class vii at the 1st state junior temple in sidoarjo. Research instruments of cognitive learning tests. Data is analyzed by a normalized n-gain method. Based on data analysis, the pretest value obtained before using the podcast is 59. For the posttest score following the application of the media podcast is 77. The value of a difference between pretest and posttest in 18 and with a gain index of 0.47 is moderate. This suggests that the use of podcast in science studies has affected students' cognitive learning results, as there has been an increase in posttest and pretest scores.
