  • 2022 Indiana Envirothon Back in Person!

      Abstract: Being a citizen scientist is one way young students can become interested in science.  Through classroom tested lessons, this article explores ways that the migration of the Monarch butterfly can be incorporated into a Kindergarten classroom, allowing students to share Monarch butterfly sightings with the science community at large and for them to teach others about the importance of helping the Monarch butterfly in its journey south to Mexico each fall.
