  • Pengaruh Giberelin dan Zat Retardan terhadap Pemanjangan Batang Jagung
           (Zea mays L.)

      Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai konsentrasi optimum giberelin yang berpengaruh meningkatkan pemanjangan batang dan konsentrasi paklobutrazol yang berpengaruh menghambat pemanjangan batang pada tanaman jagung (Zea mays L.). Penelitian dilaksanakan di Krajan Wedomartani Yogyakarta dari bulan Maret hingga bulan April 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan yaitu tanpa perlakuan (kontrol), giberelin 20 ppm dan 40 ppm, serta paklobutrazol 50 ppm dan 100 ppm. Peubah yang diamati adalah panjang batang dan sel epidermis batang tanaman jagung (Zea mays L.). Analisis statistik meliputi sidik ragam dan dilanjutkan dengan uji jarak berganda duncan (DMRT) pada taraf kepercayaan 95%. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi optimum giberelin yang meningkatkan pemanjangan batang secara signifikan pada tanaman jagung (Zea mays L.) adalah 40 ppm, sedangkan konsentrasi optimum paklobutrazol yang menghambat pemanjangan batang secara signifikan pada tanaman jagung (Zea mays L.) adalah 100 ppm. Hal tersebut juga ditunjukkan dari nilai panjang sel epidermis tertinggi pada perlakuan giberelin 40 ppm dan nilai terendah pada perlakuan paklobutrazol 100 ppm.

  • Produksi Bioetanol dari Mikroalga Laut Ambon Chlorella sp. Galur TAD

      Abstract: Mikroalga merupakan mikroorganisme fotosintesis yang mengandung karbohidrat sehingga dapat diubah menjadi glukosa melalui proses hidrolisis, sehingga dapat digunakan sebagai bahan baku pembuatan bioetanol. Chlorella sp. galur TAD merupakan jenis mikroalga laut yang tersebar pada perairan laut teluk ambon dalam (TAD) dan dimanfaatkan dalam pembuatan bioetanol. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kandungan karbohidrat dan bioetanol yang dihasilkan dari mikroalga laut Ambon Chlorella sp. galur TAD. Penelitian dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu kutivasi sel Chlorella sp. galur TAD untuk mendapatkan biomassa, menentukan kandungan karbohidrat dalam biomassa, melakukan hidrolisis biomassa dan pembuatan bioetanol melalui proses fermentasi dengan bantuan Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Hasil penelitian menghasilkan biomassa kering Chlorella sp. galur TAD sebanyak 1,599 ± 0,0119 g dengan produktivitas 0,151 ± 0,012 gL-1h-1. Kandungan karbohidrat dalam Chlorella sp. galur TAD sebesar 3,14%. Proses hidrolisis menggunakan asam sulfat dianalisa kandungan gula sebesar 117,134 ± 0,758 mg. Proses fermentasi menghasilkan bioetanol dengan kandungan 3,4325%.

  • PEMANFAATAN FILM ALGINAT DAN ALGINAT/MONTMORILLONITE SEBAGAI ADSORBEN
           CU(II)

      Abstract: Air merupakan kebutuhan yang esensial untuk keberlanjutan hidup manusia dan lingkungan. Namun, World Water Forum telah memprediksi bahwa pada tahun 2025, Indonesia akan menjadi salah satu negara yang mengalami krisis air, yang salah satunya disebabkan oleh penurunan kualitas air akibat pencemaran limbah cair industri. Tembaga / Cu(II) merupakan salah satu pencemar logam berat dalam limbah cair industri yang dapat menyebabkan gangguan terhadap kesehatan manusia dan lingkungan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan adsorben film Alginat dan film Alginat/Montmorillonite untuk menjerap tembaga dari dalam air secara adsorptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan pengocokan, massa adsorben, morfologi adsorben, serta penambahan campuran Montmorillonite pada film berpengaruh terhadap kinerja adsorpsi tembaga. Kinerja adsorpsi terbaik didapatkan oleh adsorben A-F-2% dengan kecepatan pengocokan 150 rpm, dengan persentase pengurangan konsentrasi tembaga dari dalam air sebesar 96.45% setelah tercapainya kesetimbangan (60 menit). Adsorben film Alginat juga memiliki kecocokan terhadap model isoterm Freundlich dan Langmuir, dengan nilai R-Squared > 99.99% untuk kedua model yang diregresikan secara linear.

  • THE STUDY OF TAXONOMIC AFFINITY IN 7 SPECIES OF ASTERACEAE FAMILY BASED ON
           MORPHOLOGICAL CHARACTERS

      Abstract: Morphological characters are important characters in determining plant relationships. This study aims to analyze the phenetic relationship of 7 member of Asteraceae family based on morphological characters. The study was conducted in May – July 2022. We used 7 species of Asteraceae including Ageratum conyzoides L., Ageratum houstonianum Mill, Tithonia diversifolia (Hemsl.)A.Gray., Sonchus arvensis L., Erechtites valerianifolia (Link ex Spreng) DC., Eupatorium odoratum L., and Tagetes erecta L. The equipment used were cameras, plant description books, and NTSYS software for kinship analysis were used in this study. The results of the Asteraceae dendrogram analysis showed that 2 clusters were formed, the first cluster containing the species Ageratum conyzoides L., Ageratum houstonianum Mill, Tegetes erecta L., Sonchus arvensis L.,  and Erechtites valerianifolia (Link ex Spreng) DC., while the second cluster consisted of Tithonia diversifola  (Hemsl.)A.Gray and Eupatorium odoratum L. The closest similarity coefficient of 0.8 was in the genus Ageratus in the first cluster and Tithonia diversifola  (Hemsl.)A.Gray and Eupatorium odoratum L., in the second cluster. Based on this, it can be concluded that the morphological characters that influence the clustering of Asteraceae in this study are flower type, flower color, leaf base, leaf venation, leaf margin, and leaf color.

  • Analisis Tingkat Kerawanan Bencana Alam Banjir di Kabupaten Purbalingga
           dengan Fuzzy Logic

      Abstract: Banjir merupakan peristiwa atau keadaan dimana terendamnya suatu daerah karena volume air meningkat yang dapat terjadi di wilayah perkotaan atau perdesaan. Salah satu upaya untuk meminimalisir dampak yang ditimbulkan dari bencana banjir adalah dengan mengetahui klasifikasi tingkat kerawanan bencana banjir. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui analisis tingkat kerawanan banjir di Kabupaten Purbalingga dengan fuzzy logic. Dalam menentukan tingkat kerawanan bencana alam banjir digunakan parameter penyebab banjir diantaranya data curah hujan, jenis tanah, kemiringan lereng, ketinggian wilayah, dan tutupan lahan. Data tersebut diolah dengan overlay sehingga diperoleh data input untuk proses fuzzy logic mamdani dengan langkah-langkah diantaranya pembentukan himpunan fuzzy, basis aturan, fungsi implikasi MIN, komposisi aturan dengan MAX, dan defuzzifikasi sehingga diperoleh tingkat kerawanan banjir di Kabupaten Purbalingga. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Kabupaten Purbalingga memiliki tingkat kerawanan rendah sebanyak 25 wilayah dengan luas 57,5467Ha, kerawanan sedang sebanyak 317 wilayah dengan luas 2303,385Ha, kerawanan tinggi sebanyak 756 wilayah dengan luas 11232,79Ha dan kerawanan sangat tinggi sebanyak 188 wilayah dengan luas 5595,286Ha.

  • Aktivitas Antibakteri Nanokomposit TiO2/Cu dan TiO2/CuO terhadap Bakteri
           Bacillus cereus

      Abstract: Perkembangan nanoteknologi sebagai nanomaterial telah banyak dimanfaatkan salah satunya dalam bentuk nanokomposit. Nanokomposit banyak diaplikasikan sebagai fotokatalis untuk mendegradasi logam berat dan dewasa ini banyak penelitian mengenai manfaat nanokomposit sebagai bahan antibakteri. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis aktivitas antibakteri dari nanokomposit TiO2/Cu dan TiO2/CuO hasil sintesis terhadap Bacillus cereus. Metode yang digunakan dalam melakukan sintesis nanokomposit adalah metode impregnasi basah. CuSO4 merupakan prekursor yang digunakan untuk mensinteis TiO2/Cu sedangkan TiO2/CuO menggunakan CuCl2. Suhu kalsinasi yang digunakan adalah 6000C. Material TiO2/Cu yang dihasilkan berukuran 29.01 nm sedangkan TiO2/CuO 27.64 nm. Uji karaterisasi X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) dilakukan untuk mengetahui pembentukkan nanokomposit TiO2/Cu dan TiO2/CuO. Puncak difraksi pada sudut 2θ TiO2 yaitu 25.33o, CuO 38.70, Cu 43.60 dan menandakkan nanokomposit berhasil terbentuk. Hasil pengujian aktivitas antibakteri terhadap Bacillus cereus dengan menggunakan metode difusi cakram menunjukkan TiO2/Cu memiliki zona hambat bakteri 8.10 mm dan TiO2/CuO 11.40 mm dan termasuk ke dalam antibakteri kuat sedangkan nanopartikel CuO merupakan antibakteri sedang dengan nilai sebesar 7.85 mm. Hasil ini menunjukkan nanokomposit memiliki daya hambat bakteri lebih tinggi dibandingkan nanopartikelnya.

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui spesies dan indeks keanekaragaman Odonata di Wana Wisata Curug Cipendok.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif observasional dengan teknik purposive untuk menentukan stasiun pengambilan sampel berdasarkan perbedaan habitat. Pengumpulan sampel menggunakan accidental sampling. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan April-Juni 2022 di Wana Wisata Curug Cipendok, Banyumas, Jawa Tengah. Hasil penelitian adalah ada 13 spesies capung: Vestalis luctuosa, Heliocypha fenestrata, Drepanosticta gazella, Drepanosticta spatulifera, Drepanosticta sundana, Coeliccia membarnipes, Euphaea variegata, Orthetrum glaucum, Orthetrum pruinosum, Orthetrum sabina, Pantala flavescens, Neurothemis ramburii, dan Zygonix ida. Nilai indeks keanekaragaman Shannon Wiener capung yaitu 1,881645. Nilai tersebut masuk ke dalam kategori nilai indeks keanekaragaman sedang.Kata kunci: keanekaragaman, Odonata, Curug Cipendok

  • Comparison between Double and Triple Exponential Smoothing Methods for
           Forecasting Poverty Rate of Yahukimo Regency in 2025-2030

      Abstract: Currently, the government faces so many issues, one of which is poverty. However, it is not a new thing since many other countries also face this classic issue. Poverty, from an economic point of view, is measured by the people's inability to meet basic needs for food, not food in terms of expenditure. Based on data released by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) regarding poverty rates in Indonesia, several areas are included in the highest poverty rates including East Nusa Tenggara, Maluku, Gorontalo and Papua. The poverty rates for this region are 21.21%, 17.99%, and 15.99%, respectively. In this regard, Papua has the highest poverty rate of the three provinces. According to BPS, the three poorest districts in Papua Province in 2017 included Deiyai Regency at 43.63%, Intan Jaya Regency at 42.23% and Yahukimo Regency at 39.33%. This study aimed to predict the poverty rate of Yahukimo district in 2025-2030. This research employed Double and Triple Exponential Smoothing methods. It used secondary data, namely data related to the poverty rate in Yahukimo Regency in percent (%) in 2003-2019. The results showed that the poverty rate data in 2025-2030 were 36.48%, 36.09%, 35.7%, 35.31%, 34.92% and 34.53% respectively. In other words, the poverty rate in Yahukimo Regency had decreased compared to previous years.

  • The Calcination Effect on the Crystallinity, Nitrogen Content, and Pore
           Structure of Nitrogen-Doped Titanium Dioxide

      Abstract: Mesoporous nitrogen-doped titanium dioxide nanomaterials have been synthesized through a one-step sol gel process with dodecylamine as the pore template as well as the nitrogen source. The calcination process plays an important role in the crystallization process, determination of doped nitrogen, and pore formation. The effect of calcination temperature on the material structure was studied by calcination treatment of the as-synthesized material at several temperature variations. The resulting materials were characterized using FTIR, XRD, XPS, and N2 gassorption analysis.  The results showed that the anatase TiO2 crystal structure began to form with calcination at 400 °C. The higher calcination temperature tends to cause the transformation of anatase crystal phase into rutile. The higher calcination temperature also affects the doped nitrogen content, where the pore-templating molecules begin to disappear at a calcination temperature and leaving a number of dopants on TiO2. All dopants are released from TiO2 at a calcination temperature of 600 °C. The optimum calcination temperature to form mesoporous structure was 450 °C, and the sintering occurs at a calcination temperature higher than optimum temperature indicated by the collapse of the pore structure.
