Authors:Bangshidhar Goswami Pages: 19 - 26 Abstract: This article is description of fire engineering to gather experience for combat fire hazards. Fire is the process of substances combination with oxygen from chemical reaction in presence of air which produce large amount of light, heat and smoke. Explosion has been sudden release of mechanical, chemical, or nuclear energy and subject through violent manner. Ethic has thereby generated high temperature with release of gas. Study of subject has dealt with the design of safe fire resistant equipment and patent designated accession of plant profile. Use of Fire sensor is proven to be useful to some extent to restrict hazard, and beneficial controlled measures in various associated engineering avenues collaborated here with. Adopting self-assessment fire technology has become favourable tool with reference to psychology to manage fire fighting with additional experiences of fire fight managers & as an addition this article provide the modelling of the wireless fire fight sensor alarms. Automated wireless fire protection systems have global impact on controlling fire. Former has been actuated automatically as per operations accused according to predetermined program, whereas latter has been actuated by operator. PubDate: 2022-02-24 Issue No:Vol. 12, No. 3 (2022)

Authors:Raghuchandra Garimella, Selva Balan M., Sreekanth Sampath, Mahender Singh Bist, Jitendra Kumar Singh Pages: 27 - 37 Abstract: Reservoirs on the upstream side of sediment-laden river dams fill with sediment over time, lowering their storage capacity. This research focuses on advanced instrumentation techniques used to analyse storage capacity and estimate the quantity of sedimentation deposited in the reservoir at Kadana Dam, Kadana Village, Mahisagar District, Gujarat, India. During the research investigations, a multi-frequency acoustic system with frequencies of around 33 KHz and 210 KHz was employed to assess the reservoir bed level. In addition, Hypack was used to process the data. A Knudsen Chirp 3260 single-beam echo sounder with frequencies of about 3.5 KHz and 200 KHz was also employed to determine the reservoir's sub-bottom profile. MATLAB and Sonar Wiz Software were used to examine the sub-bottom survey data. During the results analysis, Surfer Software was used to generate 3D sections, contour maps, grid maps, isopach charts, and isoline maps. According to the findings, the current gross storage capacity at FRL 127.7 m is 1243.58 MCM, while the intended gross storage capacity is 1543 MCM. As a result, at an FRL of 127.7 m, there is a 19.40 percent loss in gross storage. The research also revealed that the annual rate of silt is 2.73 ham/100 sq. km/year. Authors:Kunal Sharma, Laksh Nagar, Manvendra Singh Rathore, Saurabh Agarwal Pages: 38 - 44 Abstract: Envirotech or Environmental technology is the usage of environmental science and technology to monitor and conserve the natural environment and resources, and to reduce the negative impacts of human involvement. It involves the purification of the contaminated environment, waste management and production of sustainable energy without harming the nature. It aims to facilitate the human needs without harming the nature. Many technologies are developed to conserve water, reduce waste, produce energy, conserve soil and air purification. It includes the usage of modern equipment’s in order to build relationship that exists within and between natural systems and human systems. Cyclone collectors settling chambers, wet scrubbers, impingers, electrostatic precipitators are some equipment’s of air purification. Similarly screening, filtration, sedimentation, and flotation are some methods of water purification. Solid waste can be treated using 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) method; sanitary landfill, incineration, composting and pyrolysis are some methods of solid waste management. E-waste management is highly labour intensive and requires skill and lengthy process; sorting, dismantling, magnetic separation, metallic and non-metallic components separation are some E-waste recycling processes. Soil is also one of the most important parts of environment its conservation relates to its protection from erosion, acidification, salinization or other chemical soil contamination. Envirotech is an unavoidable method which we have to adopt in order to survive. The broad objective of this paper is to briefly describe the study approach and methodologies of technologies developed, used and are developing to protect and endure the environment and highlight the key findings and insights. It also includes the complete description of environmental conservation and protection methods. PubDate: 2022-03-22 Issue No:Vol. 12, No. 3 (2022)

Authors:Vamsi Krishna yadav Pesala, B. Amarendra Reddy Pages: 1 - 11 Abstract: Two-input fourth-order integrated (TIFOI) converter is designed to process the power from two different sources Vg1 and Vg2. This converter facilitates regulation of dc-bus voltage and LVS current. In the power conversion process it performs bucking operation for first dc source Vg1, buck-boost operation for the second source Vg2. Power stage dynamics of the TIFOI converters is modeled using the state-space analysis. The system modelling plays an important role in the design and implementation of the integrated converter control systems. The TFM of an integrated converter can be obtained mainly in two ways as these are widely used and accepted methodologies. These are (i) small signal continuous-time model and (ii) small-signal discrete-time models. These modelling methodologies were reported in literature for single-input dc-dc converters, but their application in the two-input dc-dc converters has not been exhaustively addressed yet. The transfer function matrix (TFM) of the TIFOI converter are obtained using small-signal continuous-time model and the detailed mathematical aspects are presented in this paper. Using this TFM of the TIFOI dc-dc converter is obtained. PubDate: 2021-12-08 Issue No:Vol. 12, No. 3 (2021)

Authors:Aditya Tiwary, Praveen Patel Pages: 12 - 18 Abstract: Numerous reliability indices estimation of a system or component or element is very important in order to predict its availability and unavailability. Reliability is the specification which tells about the availability of the system under proper working conditions for a given period of time. Reliability of numerous complex engineering systems has been estimated in literature. In view of above, in this paper an innovational approach for estimation of various reliability indices such as failure rate, repair time and unavailability of a practical Hose Reel system is attained and different framework are evaluated. When an engineering system or device is in working condition, then there is a chance that the system or device fails and then a proper repair will be needed. The complete time period when the system or device is working is distributed in failure time and repair time respectively. A Hose Reel system is an engineering system which is developed in order to control the occurrence of fire and is a system which is used in emergency. As hose reel system is used in emergency condition, therefore proper working in the given time period is very important for the system and therefore there is a need for evaluating its various reliability indices. The unavailability of each and every component is evaluated. Component level failure rate, repair rate and unavailability were also estimated for the system. A practicable Hose Reel system put in place for the safety motive of the institute was considered for evaluating various indices. PubDate: 2021-12-31 Issue No:Vol. 12, No. 3 (2021)

Authors:Krishna satya sai phanish Bandaru, B. Amarendra Reddy Pages: 39 - 47 Abstract: In two-input two-output (TITO) systems, interactions should be appropriately accounted for proper input-output pairing. Pairing plays an important role, where the wrong pairing can lead to unstable systems, even each one of the loop is stable individually. In this paper interactions of TITO time-delay systems are quantified using the gramian based interaction measures. Using this pairing problem is addressed for TITO systems and a multivariable controller is designed using siso methodology. The effectiveness of designed controller is verified in MATLAB environment PubDate: 2021-10-06 Issue No:Vol. 12, No. 3 (2021)
