According to presented results, patients with hepatitis C who undergo total joint arthroplasty and are Childs-Pugh class B or C have increased 2-year mortality rates compared with patients who are Childs-Pugh class A.

Results showed professional soccer players in Italy experienced general fatigue, muscle fatigue and reduced metabolic power for several weeks after COVID-19 infection.
Using incremental step and spirometry testing, researchers analyzed COVID-19 symptoms, pulmonary function and metabolic power (Pmet) in 13 male professional soccer players (mean age of 23.9 years) for a duration of 6 months. The American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons has joined more than 100 health care organizations in urging Congress and CMS to mitigate another round of Medicare physician reimbursement cuts, according to a press release.
