  • A Short Review on Breast Fibroadenomas

    • Free pre-print version: Loading...

Authors: Istuti Gupta, Sandeep Sirohi, Mohammad Munawar Tappa, Surya Prakash DV
Abstract: Breast Fibroadenomas are the most common type of benign breast lumps found mainly in adolescent women. These are unilateral, smooth, demarcated, rubbery, mobile, and painless masses. They are believed to be formed by the influence of changes in the female reproductive hormone, estrogen and sometimes the combination of both estrogen and progesterone which mainly occurs at the time of puberty. Fibroadenomas are mostly found in women till the age of 35 and diminish after menopause. They are also influenced by the Body Mass Index (BMI) of an individual and have more chances of occurrence in the ones with a strong medical history of breast lesions or tumors. These are of various types depending on their number, size, texture, etc. Many diagnostic techniques like Mammogram, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Pathological Analysis, etc. are used for their evaluation and assessment. Several methods of intervention have been identified and practiced including Surgical Excision, Minimally Invasive Techniques and Ablative Procedures depending on the type of fibroadenoma and some other factors. These benign lumps do not possess any risk of breast carcinoma, however, it has been suggested in several articles that Fibroadenomas might increase the risk of breast cancer in some cases.

  • Management of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)

    • Free pre-print version: Loading...

Authors: Vidhi Ramesh Parakhiya, Deepali S Parab
Abstract: The complex condition known as polycystic ovarian
syndrome (PCOS) is characterized by chronic
      anovulation and hyperandrogenism. Depending on
diagnostic criteria, 6–20% of females in reproductive age
are afflicted. PCOS symptoms start to appear in the
early pubertal years. Acne, anovulation, and irregular
menstrual periods are features of PCOS and pubertal
development in the average girl. The complex
intertwined pathophysiology makes it difficult to identify
the provoking factors. Most available scientific
information communicates findings and outcomes in
person to women. Different diagnostic criteria for PCOS
in adolescent females have been defined, despite the
Rotterdam guidelines for girls being frequently used.
      Menstrual irregularity, scientific hyperandrogenism,
and/or hyperandrogenemia are diagnostic indicators in
adolescent girls. Pelvic ultrasound findings aren't wanted
for the diagnosis of PCOS in adolescent ladies.

  • Clinical Study of Role of Rasayana as a Pre adjuvant and Post Treatment of
Chemotherapy in the Management of Carcinoma

    • Free pre-print version: Loading...

Authors: Gyanendra kumar Gupta, Gagan Devi
      Pages: 5 - 13
Abstract: Integrative oncology is a novel form of medical theory which views cancer not merely as an accumulation of genetically transformed immature cells, but sum total of feelings, images, actions evoked by cancer. Not only by those afflicted with the disease, but also by their loved ones. This has been very well understood by Ayurveda. The important tool to manage the adverse reaction is Rasayana. Rasayana through their nutrient value improves digestion and metabolism and ultimately provides improved quality of tissues i.e., dhatus which are the main target of chemotherapeutic agents. The main aim of the study was to improve the quality of life of cancer patients.

  • The Effect of Prepared Biochemical Compounds on Cancer Cells

    • Free pre-print version: Loading...

      Authors: Nagham Mahmood Aljamali
      Pages: 14 - 20
Abstract: The effect of prepared biochemical compounds affecting cancer cells, where the chemical compounds are divided into two parts, some of which are treatment for cancerous tumors, and others activate cancer cells such as glucose and sugars, which increase the size of the cancerous tumor and its spread in the body. While chemotherapy usually refers to the use of antitumor drugs to treat cancer through a cytotoxic treatment method. It also refers to antibiotics (antibacterial chemotherapy) for non-cancerous diseases. The first modern chemotherapeutic drug, aracenamine, is an arsenic discovered by Paul Ehrlich in 1909 and used to treat syphilis. This was followed by Gerhardt Dumac's discovery of a sulfonamide, as well as penicillin by Alexander Fleming. Chemotherapy kills cancer cells that multiply rapidly. This also damages normal cells that divide rapidly such as the nevi cells, the digestive system, and the hair follicle., Natural compounds have recently shown great efficacy in the treatment of cancer, including plant extracts and marine products, as well as extracts of arthropods such as venoms of bees, spiders, snakes, and scorpions. It is known that bee venom has an anti-blood-clotting effect, and it also stimulates the body to secrete cortisone, which is why it is useful in treating joints and increasing the body's immunity against diseases. Some try to use different bee products as a branch of alternative medicine called apitherapy. Many healers have used bee stings as a remedy for more than 5,000 years, for disorders such as headaches, joint pain, and skin allergies.

  • Two-chamber Medical Electroflotator for Cleaning of the Lymph of Cancer
Patients from Toxic Substances and for the Destruction and Removal of
           Cancer Cells Contained in It

    • Free pre-print version: Loading...

      Authors: Michael Shoikhedbrod
      Pages: 21 - 27
Abstract: Existing devices for cleaning of the lymph of patients with liver cirrhosis or hepatitis from a high concentration of toxic substances, contained in it, do not allow cleaning the body of patients from these toxic substances. In addition, these devices require the patient's lymph to be purified in a discrete mode, i.e., all the patient's lymph, without which the patient remains, is purified for a sufficiently long time, and after that the purified lymph is injected back to the patient. As a result of such cleaning, the patient greatly weakens and, in exceptional cases, may die. In addition, these devices do not allow the destruction and removal of cancer cells from lymph of cancer patients, the presence of a large number of which in the lymph leads to their rapid multiplication in stagnant zones - lymph nodes, where the lymph is in a stagnant state that leads to the appearance of metastases. The article presents a developed two-chamber medical electroflotator for cleaning of the lymph of patient with liver cirrhosis or hepatitis from toxic substances, for the destruction and removal of cancer cells contained in it, using the adhesion of microdispersed negatively charged hydrogen bubbles, formed under the action of a constant electric current in two chambers on the lymph with toxic microparticles or cancer cells, which form strong complexes of hydrogen bubbles + toxic microparticles and hydrogen bubbles + cancer cells with increased lifting volume, which, using the force of Archimedes, leads to an easy and natural separation of toxic microparticles and cancer cells from the lymph in the first medical electroflotator chamber. The destruction and removal of cancer cells remaining after the first chamber is carried out in the second chamber due to the effect on the cancer cells of the anolyte (dead water), saturated with “fog” of negatively charged OH-ions and oxygen bubbles, formed as a result of electrolysis of lymph, in the anode zone and the flotation of dead cancer cells, in this case, carried out due to formed complexes oxygen bubbles + cancer cells. Isolation of the anolyte from the catholyte (living water), saturated with a “fog” of positive hydrogen ions and microdispersed hydrogen bubbles, formed as a result of electrolysis in the second chamber, is carried out by placing a membrane made from fire hose material between the cathode and the anode, which prevents the penetration of anolyte and oxygen bubbles into the cathode area of medical flotator second chamber. The developed two-chamber medical electroflotator allows, in the shortest time, to almost completely replace the patient's lymph into the lymph of a healthy person, freed from cancer cells, in a continuous mode by recirculation in a closed loop. The conducted studies permitted to establish a high efficiency of lymph purification by developed medical electroflotator in the treatment of patients with liver cirrhosis.

  • Acute Myeloid Leukemia in Children: An Overview

    • Free pre-print version: Loading...

      Authors: Kamini P. Sao
      Pages: 28 - 35
Abstract: Acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) means when the body makes too many immature blood cells. These cells, called myeloid blasts, can't mature into normal white blood cells. In India, Cancer is the leading cause of mortality among children aged 5 to 14, with roughly 45,000 youngsters diagnosed each year. About 20% of children with leukaemia have this type of cancer. AML develops and gets worse quickly, so early diagnosis is important. Most children are cured with treatment. Outcome data for AML can be inferred that 50–80% of treated patients had experienced an event. On collaborative efforts, treatment of patients depends upon risk-stratified adapted protocols on local infrastructure and improvement in supportive care.
