      Abstract: The entertainment industry is one of the most affected industries by the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only in the international music industry, the Indonesian music industry is also experiencing similar issues, for example, workers in the indie music industry in Jakarta and its surroundings cannot run from the impacts of the pandemic. With the implementation of social distancing, physical distancing, as well as PSBB implemented by the government, creative industry, especially in the music sub-sector, must be able to adapt in creating new works that are marketed digitally. However, this kind of online activities have made plenty of changes in music culture. In this study, the author explores for literature of the last 5 years or those that are still relevant to this research with the theme of how the music industry in Indonesia has adapted during the COVID19 pandemic. The author uses interview method in this study. interviews are conducted with musicians and other music industry players (small bands/small musicians) within the independent music scene. In conclusion, independent musicians should try harder in marketing their music and communicating with fans, interactions that generate engagement on their social media pages are the key so that fans can still remember the musicians and their works.

      Abstract: Perusahaan Herba Penawar Alwahida Indonesia-Halal Network International (HNI-HPAI) merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang terdaftar dalam Asosiasi Penjualan Langsung Indonesia (APLI) dan telah mendapatkan sertifikat halal oleh DSN-MUI dengan konsep Network Marketing yang memiliki jaringan cukup luas, dimana salah satu cabang perusahaan ini berada di wilayah Kota Bandar Lampung dengan nama Business Center HNI-HPAI Cabang Lampung 3. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanaan strategi komunikasi pemasaran, bentuk komunikasi pemasaran, strategi promosi, elemen-elemen bauran pemasaran yang digunakan dan proses manajemen perusahaan melalui kegiatan dan program serta faktor pendukung dan penghambat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis field research dan bersifat deskriptif serta desain penelitian menggunakan studi kasus. Untuk memperoleh data dalam penelitian ini digunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Untuk menguji keabsahan data digunakan triangulasi sumber.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa HNI-HPAI dalam melakukan strategi komunikasi pemasarannya mempertimbangkan bauran pemasaran yang terdiri dari 7P (Product, Price, Place, Promotion, People, Physical Evidence, Process) dan elemen bauran promosi yang meliputi periklanan, promosi penjualan, pemasaran efektif, hubungan masyarakat, penjualan pribadi dan pemasaran langsung dengan baik. Pesan yang disampaikan didukung dengan berbagai saluran komunikasi atau alat bantu promosi berupa media offline, online, dan media elektronik serta komunikasi langsungyang diimplementasikan dalam bentuk kegiatan seperti training event, KHT (Kuliah Herba Thibbunnabawi), Spriritual Motivation Training, Home Sharing, Corporate Program, seminar, dan sebagainya. Strategi promosi yang digunakan menggunakan teknik PCA (Pakai, Cerita, Ajak).

      Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan memetakan aktivitas, kompetensi, bahasa dan komponen-komponen komunikasi pada peristiwa ritual “sedekah laut” yang menghasilkan pola komunikasi sebagai bentuk pelestarian nilai nilai budaya martim pada masyarakat kepulauan. Konsep Komunikasi ritual yang menjadi pijakan penelitian ini yaitu ritual. Ritual sebagai suatu habitual action (aksi turun-temurun) dan juga mengandung nilai-nilai transendental. Sehingga, dapat dipahami bahwa ritual berkaitan dengan pertunjukan secara sukarela yang dilakukan masyarakat secara turun-temurun (berdasarkan kebiasaan)menyangkut perilaku yang terpola. Komunikasi menjadi inti dari interaksi antar manusia yang menggunakan bahasa dalam kebudayaan tertentu. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi, cara pandang interpretif atau kualitatif dengan menggunakan perspektif Interaksionisme Simbolik , dimana interaksi simbolik menekankan pada hubungan simbol dan interaksi. Ritual sebagai ’tradisi’ dalam konteks peristiwa komunikasi dan proses interaksi. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa Komunikasi ritual “sedekah laut” merupakan aktivitas bentuk rasa bersyukur kepada Tuhan YME atau sang pencipta, yang telah memberikan rejeki dari potensi yang berasal dari Laut, tradisi ini merupakan bentuk nilai budaya yang dipertahankan oleh Masyarakat Yogyakarta khususnya Kraton Yogyakarta yang kemudian Ritual “Sedekah Laut” ini digunakan sebagai daya tarik wisata budaya bahari

      Abstract: Promotions use conventional mass media such as television, printed newspapers and radio to communicate with the public but now the presence of new media causes big changes in organization’s promotion behavior. An organization starts using new communication technology impacts to event industry in the case Sanur Village Festival. Sanur Village Festival (SVF) is a community event founded by Sanur Development Foundation (YPS) since 2006, which is a combination of severas large scale activities involving food festival, creative economy exhibition, various contest and competitions, art and cultural attractions, music as well as various types of environmentally friendly activities. This event created to re-brand Sanur as one of the oldest tourist destination in Bali and increase tourist visit since 2005 after Bali Bombing I and II. This paper also explains the how Sanur Village Festival manager their official website and social media to help them increasing tourist awareness of thif event that lead the increasing tourist visit in Bali especially Sanur.

      Abstract: Mass media is very influential in people's lives. Mass media serves to provide information to the audience. Underage rapes are still common and appear in news in print and electronic media. Although there are already laws that govern, but do not scare the perpetrators. There's even an abuser who tortures his victim and kills her. Media always preach about the phenomenon that is happening in people's lives. The method in this study uses descriptive qualitative research method by providing a description by studying the content of text contained in the news in the form of words. The analysis was conducted with a critical discourse analysis approach using Sara Mills' theory on news texts reported on online media The results of this study put women as objects in the text, because on the news of underage women are always victims of rape who get inappropriate treatment and lead to death. In this case, the media show women being victims of rape told in texts that someone has subjected. But in the media also put the position of women as subjects who have the opportunity to tell the events they experienced. Through this news, the author makes the reader, especially the male, aware not to commit the abuse.

      Abstract: The purpose of this research is to increase knowledge and understanding as well as digital literacy of the Darussa'adah Islamic Boarding School students in Bandar Lampung about the importance of access and adoption of healthy and safe internet technology. The research method used is descriptive quantitative with data collection techniques using surveys. The results of this study indicate that the mastery of the concept of global citizenship by the students still cannot be understood explicitly, so that further understanding of the students is needed. Most of the students of Darussa'adah Islamic Boarding School still do not have digital literacy skills effectively and efficiently. By doing digital literacy, it is expected to be able to better understand and be able to have cognitive, communicative abilities, have the ability in creativity, have self-confidence and have a critical attitude in consuming media so as to avoid hoax and fake news, so that information received through social media can accountable for the truth. The conclusion of this study is the need to provide a set of literacy competencies, especially digital literacy when surfing the internet, including the importance of how to access the internet in a healthy and safe manner for students and a basic understanding of ethics and culture as well as searching for the right information on the internet, so that students can face challenges as global citizenship.

  • Ekonomi Politik Media Dalam Industri Musik Digital Spotify

      Abstract: Since the emergence of internet media, digital music was born which then marked as a change in the dominance of conventional recorded music. It is slowly and surely replacing the roles of conventional media, starting from the production process, distribution, to the level of music consumption. One of the most prominent music streaming platforms today is Spotify. In practice, the music streaming platform Spotify acts as a cultural industry that seeks to obscure people's real needs. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method based on a critical paradigm. With the aim of analyzing power relations in cultural practices that have been built by the digital music industry, either through the media or by the owners of capital through the perspective of the political economy of communication media. There are 2 main findings as a result of the study. First, there are 5 forms of digital music standardization that emerged because of the Spotify platform. Second, there are 2 forms of culture created from the relationship and identity of digital music actors, namely, the trend of soloist musicians or music by do it yourself, and bargaining power between musicians and music labels. In the end, Spotify is the party who benefits the most because it acts as a mediator who provides services or services for digital music streaming providers.

      Abstract: Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi makna hijrah yang di sampaikan oleh KH. Anwar Zahid dalam videonya yaitu ‘Arti Hijrah Milineal” di Anza Chanel. Dengan metode penelitian analisis wacana Van Dijk yang dilihat dari transkrip ceramah KH. Anwar Zahid di youtube. Adapaun temuan penelitian ini merekonstruksi makna hijrah dengan membaginya menjadi beberapa pengertian seperti: pengertian hijrah secara umum, hijrah pada zaman Nabi, hijrah menurut dalam Al-Qur’an dan Hadist dan pendapat subjektif KH. Anwar Zahid tentang hijrah yang berarti perubahan sifat pada manusia yang bisa berubah dari yang buruk berubah menjadi baik dan dengan cara-cara yang baik.
