      Abstract: This research study has the purposes were to 1) examine the current community-based tourism condition of Community. 2) study the potential of tourism management by Community and 3)present guidelines for development community-based tourism in Community, Ban Na Pa Nat, Chiang Khan, Loei, Thailand. The estimated sample size of the population in Community consists of 171 people, and the quality sample size of the key person or wisdom successor of the Tai Dam Community. The results have shown the current condition of the community has full facilities for tourists. The attractions are unique and distinctive. a source of cultural learning and a rich environment the prominent potentials of the community including. The potential of the location as the community contains the tourist attraction with a renowned local tradition plus abundant natural resources and environment as it was the only ethnic group attraction in the North-eastern region. However, The development approach that communities should develop has several components can be developed such as the tourism management area like the distribution of income of people in the community, the information area for ​​travel public relations, the information technology database area for tourists to access the information conveniently, convenience area in which the community including the tourist services such as restaurant, stores, souvenir stores, as well as the tourism service center. The community should create a varied and interesting tourism activity that fits with the context of the location and reflect the identity of the community. In addition, the community should promote the involvement of the community member allowing people to participate in tourism management planning for their own benefit, and the community and related agencies should provide assistance in terms of tourism management and tourism activities operation empowering communities to have the potential to work to increase their capacity to accommodate tourists.

      Abstract: The research of factors influencing on sustainable historical Area tourism decisions in Numphu Intersection, Tambon Mak Khang, Amphoe Mueang, Changwat Udonthani. The objectives of this research were 1) to study the tourism behavior of tourists interested in Numphu Intersection 2) to study the factors influencing on tourism decisions in Numphu Intersection 3) to test the differences between the factors influencing on tourism and the tourism behavior in Numphu Intersection. The questionnaire is the instrument for collecting data then data were analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation and the one-way ANOVA was used to test for differences between the variables.      
                  The results revealed that 1) most tourists has purpose of tourism for vacation, there were companion of tourism, there were vehicle used for tourism as private car, there were 2 or more times in Udon Thani tourism, there was a period of time for one day trip, there were tourism time of 6 hours or more in Numphu Intersection, there are activities during the tourism to rest, there was tourism expense not exceeding 500 baht and there was channel to search for tourism information through online media. 2) The results study the factors influencing on tourism decisions in Numphu Intersection revealed that most tourists gave most average priority with attraction factor ( = 4.59) followed by tourism activity factor ( = 4.51), attraction access factor ( = 4.46), amenity factor ( = 4.41) and accommodation factor ( = 4.31). 3) The results of the test the differences between the factors influencing on tourism and the tourism behavior in Numphu Intersection revealed that purpose of tourism, vehicle used for tourism, tourism number times and tourism time different influencing factors on tourism decisions were no different. In the part of companion of tourism and tourism time in Numphu Intersection, type of tourism activities, tourism expense and channel for tourism information different influencing factors on tourism decisions were statistically significant difference at the 0.05 level.

      Abstract: This research aimed to study Lao Klang ethnic group in terms of the cultural heritage, the ways to preserve cultures, the tourism potential, the local inhabitants’ participation in cultural preservation and tourism behaviors, to explore Thai tourists’ needs for a creative tourism, and to propose a model of creative tourism development for cultural preservation of Lao Klang in Kud Jok, Chinat province. For the data accumulation, ten key informants including five community leaders and five local product leaders were deeply interviewed, and the content analysis were employed to analyze the data.  Moreover, four hundred tourists were required to fill out the questionnaire.  Also, sixty tourists participating in a DIY activity were determined to fill out the satisfaction evaluation form.  The data from the questionnaires were analyzed with descriptive statistical methods: Mean, Percentage, Frequency, and Standard Deviation. The findings showed that Lao Klang in Kud Jok had outstanding and unique ethnical identities.  Also, its social heritages including people, institutions, wisdoms and culture were very interesting.  The most important factor in Lao Klang’s cultural preservation was the people’s cooperation in planning and operating a tourism system, getting benefits, and distributing incomes to the community as much as possible.  Regarding the potential for the tourism management, it was found that Lao Klang community had the potential for economy, society, and environment.  For the tourism behaviors, it was indicated that most of the tourists travelled to Lao Klang community because they would like to join and study its traditions and cultures.  Moreover, most of them were the organized mass tourists. With regard to a model of creative tourism development for cultural preservation of Lao Klang in Kud Jok, Chinat province,  it was shown that its process consisted of four steps: 1) Finding a community unique identity, 2) Improving local wisdoms to a creative development, 3) Creating tourists’ activities and 4) Implementing the creative tourism to benefit the community and the tourists.    Keywords: Creative Tourism, Cultural Preservation, A Model of Creative Tourism Development

      Abstract: The objectives of this research were (1) to study factors affecting the active aging tourist’ decision to choose agrotourism activity, (2) to study active aging tourist’s behavior in Thailand , (3) to study motivation affecting active aging tourist’s decision-making in choosing the tourism activity in Thailand. The sample consisted of 410 people aged 61 years and over who living in each region of Thailand. This research used questionnaires as a tool to collect data. Perform an analysis with a computer program. In the analysis, statistical values, frequency values, percentages and mean values were obtained. The results of the research were found that 1) the most significant factor affecting the active aging tourist’s decision to choose agritourism activity was accommodation offered at the destination 2) active aging tourist’s behavior in Thailand focuses on visiting nature in a slow pace and participate in a local community with the willingness to pay maximum at 5,001 – 10,000 baht per trip. 3) social media and television are the most significant factor in motivating the active aging tourists to take part in agrotourism activity.

  •        การพัฒนาการท่องเที่ยวเชิงสร้างสรรค์บนฐานมรดกภูมิปัญญาชุมชนบ้านโนนทัน

      Abstract: The objectives of this research article was to develop creative tourism based on community wisdom heritage. The three action procedures include 1) preparation: survey and evaluation of tourism capacity of local wisdom heritage of 23 cases of community of practice. The data has been derived from in-depth review and focus group together with quantitative data from 200 cases of people; 2) implementing creative tourism activity development; and 3) conducting satisfaction assessment with 400 cases of tourists and opinion exchange among community of practice. The descriptive statistics and content analysis are applied for data analysis. The results prove that Ban Nonthan is Lao Viang Ethnic Community with outstanding wisdom heritage in six aspects as follows: 1) arts; 2) rituals, traditions and beliefs; 3) agricultures; 4) nutrition and local foods; 5) handicrafts; and 6) traditional medical. The resolutions of meeting select weaving for 8-learning base creative tourism to accommodate one-day trip tourists. The research results lead to tourism activities, occupation and incomes. Besides, the weaving wisdom heritage activity can be applied in other areas with similar context to improve creative tourism for quality living enhancement.
