- Analisis Pendapatan Usahatani Kentang Di Kecamatan Kabanjahe, Kabupaten

Abstract: Potatoes are the leading agricultural product in Kabanjahe itself. Under these conditions, Kabanjahe has great potential in terms of agriculture, especially potato plants. The size of a farm's income is influenced by revenue and production costs. However, currently potato farmers in Kabanjahe are faced with a problem, namely the productivity of potatoes that is not yet maximized and the price of potatoes is uncertain, which will affect the productivity and income earned by farmers. This study aims to analyze the income of potato farming. The research was conducted in August 2022. Data analysis used income analysis and R/C ratio analysis. The average income of potato farming in Kaban Village, Kabanjahe District, Karo Regency is Rp. Rp. 29,967,190/ha/MT. The average total cost incurred in potato farming activities is IDR 55,321,810/ha/MT, and the average income in potato farming is IDR 85,289,000/ha/MT. This means that potato farming in Kabanjahe District, Karo Regency is still profitable because farmers' income can still cover the total costs incurred during the production process of the potato farming business.

- Pengaruh Ketebalan Kerabang, Bobot Kerabang, Dan Bobot Telur Terhadap
Specific Gravity (SG) Telur Ayam Ras

Abstract: Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui korelasi serta mendapatkan nilai besar pengaruh antara ketebalan kerabang (X1), bobot kerabang (X2), dan bobot telur (X3) terhadap specific gravity (SG) (Y) telur ayam ras. SG telur berkorelasi positif signifikan dengan ketebalan kerabang dan bobot kerabang. Meningkatnya bobot telur diikuti dengan menurunnya nilai SG telur. Penelitian ini menggunakan 300 sampel telur segar dengan metode korelasional yaitu uji path analysis. Hasil perhitungan koefisien korelasi diperoleh rX1Y = 0,526, rX2Y = 0,296, dan rX3Y = -0,236. Hasil perhitungan koefisien jalur diperoleh rYX1 = 0,128, rYX2 = 0,861, dan rYX3 = -0,864. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data pada penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa korelasi tebal kerabang dengan SG tergolong kuat, bobot kerabang dengan SG tergolong medium, serta bobot telur dengan SG tergolong sangat lemah. Besar pengaruh ketebalan kerabang terhadap SG 7,56%, besar pengaruh bobot kerabang terhadap SG 25,55%, serta besar pengaruh bobot telur terhadap SG 20,42%.

- Uji Organoleptik Dan Kandungan Nutrisi Biskuit Dengan Bahan Fortifikasi
Tepung Kelor (Moringa oleifera) Untuk Penanganan Stunting

Abstract: Stunting is a nutritional problem caused by chronic malnutrition. Nutrition and nutritional intake for people affected by stunting, especially toddlers, can be obtained through the consumption of healthy and nutritious food. Biscuits are a food that is loved by all groups, especially toddlers. Moringa has many benefits, especially for health and medicine. The addition of Moringa flour fortification can increase the nutritional value of biscuits. This study aims to determine the results of the preference test (organoleptic) of biscuits with fortified moringa flour, and to compare the nutritional content of biscuits from the best fortified formulation with biscuits without the addition of moringa flour. The research was conducted in September - November 2022 at the Teaching Factory of the Faculty of Applied Science, Suryakancana University and the Laboratory of the Center for Agro Industry. This study used treatment in the form of the addition of moringa flour fortification: 0%, 1%, 2%, 3%, 4% and 5%. Organoleptic test through hedonic/liking test was conducted on 25 panelists and 2 expert panelists. The nutritional test was carried out on biscuits with the best organoleptic test results with biscuits without the addition of moringa flour as a control. The results showed that the A2 treatment (addition of 2% moringa flour) was the treatment that gave the most recommended organoleptic test results for consumption. Furthermore, the results of nutritional tests on the A2 treatment biscuits (addition of 2% moringa flour) showed that the food was high in protein and suitable for consumption for people affected by stunting. Meanwhile, the saturated fat content is very low. This really supports the stunting program because saturated fat can inhibit the metabolism of omega-3 which functions for eye health and brain development.

- Efek Ekstrak Metanol Daun Jamblang (Syzygium cumini) Pada Keong Mas
(Pomacea canaliculata)

Abstract: The mas snail (Pomacea canaliculata) is one of the pests of paddy’s plant that needs to be controlled because it can attack the nursery and paddy that is ready to be harvested. Jamblang leaves are known to have biactive secondary metabolites such as alkaloids, flavanoids, saponins, terpenoids and tannins. The purpose of this study was to test the methanol extract of jamblang leaves on the mas snail. This research was conducted by extracting 1000ml of jamblang leaf powder with 1000ml of methanol for 3 days, then the extraction results were thickened and made into several doses of 0 ml/L (P0), 1 ml/L (P1), 2 ml/L (P2), 3 ml/L (P3). ). 4ml/L (P4) and 5ml/L (P5). Each dose was tested on 10 golden snails that had been given well water and gamal leaves as feed. The results showed that the 5ml/L (P5) treatment caused 100% mortality at 48JSA and the lowest attack intensity on gamal feed was 8.33%.

- Respon Pemberian Liquid Organic Biofertilizer Urin Kambing Terhadap
Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Kedelai (Glycine max L.)

Abstract: Soybean (Glycine max L.) is one of the main food commodities after rice and corn. The need for soybeans in Indonesia is quite high. Soybeans are used as a basic ingredient for various processed foods such as tempeh, tofu, soy milk, tauco, snacks, and the soy sauce industry. Apart from being a food ingredient, soybeans are also used as industrial ingredients and animal feed. The high level of population consumption in Indonesia for soybeans and their processed products makes soybeans an ingredient sought by the community, therefore it is necessary to increase soybean productivity to meet domestic needs. One way to increase production while reducing inorganic fertilizers is the use of Liquid Organic Biofertilizer (LOB). This study aims to determine the effect of LOB on soybean growth and yield. This study used a non-factorial randomized block design (RBD) with six treatments with four replications. The treatments tested were: P0 = Without LOB, P1 = Concentration of 25 ml/l of water, P2 = Concentration of LOB 50 ml/l of water, P3 = Concentration of LOB 75 m/l of water, and P4 = Concentration of LOB 100 ml/l water, P5 = LOB concentration 125 ml/l water. The results showed that the application of Liquid Organic Biofertilizer of golden snails had a significant effect on plant height and number of leaves 2 weeks, 4 weeks and 6 weeks, while the number of branches and the number of root nodules was effective at 6 weeks.

- Pengaruh Dosis Herbisida Campuran Penoksulam Dan Pretilaklor Terhadap
Gulma, Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Padi Sawah

Abstract: Gulma adalah kendala biotik utama yang dapat mengakibatkan penurunan hasil gabah pada padi sawah. Teknik pengendalian secara kimia memberikan pengaruh yang cepat serta biaya yang lebih rendah sehingga lebih efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari dosis herbisida campuran yang efektif dalam menekan pertumbuhan gulma sehingga meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi sawah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Agustus-Desember 2021 di Desa Ciluncat, Kecamatan Cangkuang, Kabupaten Bandung, Jawa Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan 7 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari; 5 dosis herbisida campuran Penoksulam 15 g/l + Pretilaklor 385 g/l (dengan dosis 1,00 l/ha, 1,50 l/ha, 2,00 l/ha, 2,50 l/ha, 3,00 l/ha), penyiangan manual, dan kontrol (tanpa penyiangan dan tanpa herbisida). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa herbisida campuran Penoksulam 15 g/l + Pretilaklor 385 g/l pada dosis 1,00 l/ha sampai dengan 3,00 l/ha efektif dalam menekan pertumbuhan gulma dominan Ludwigia octovalvis, Cyperus difformis, Fimbristylis miliacea, Ammania coccinea, Monochoria vaginalis, gulma lain, dan gulma total hingga 6 MSA serta tidak meracuni tanaman padi sawah. Seluruh dosis herbisida campuran menunjukkan pengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman pada 3 MSA, jumlah anakan pada 3 MSA dan 6 MSA, jumlah malai per rumpun, dan berat gabah kering giling sedangkan tinggi tanaman pada 6 MSA, jumlah bulir per malai, serta bobot 1000 butir tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang nyata.

- Pengaruh Penambahan Probiotik Mix Culture Pada Fermentasi Anaerob Kulit
Kopi Terhadap Kadungan Serat Kasar, Dan Protein Kasar

Abstract: This research aim to determine the effect of addition probiotic mixculture on the anaerobic fermentation of coffee peel on the content of dry matter, crude fiber, and crude protein. This research conducted by experimentally using a Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 repeats. The treatment was P1 (coffee peel + 3% molasses), P2 (coffee peel + 3% molasses + 0.5% Heryaki probiotic), P3 (coffee peel + 3% molasses + 1% Heryaki probiotic), P4 (coffee peel + 3% molasses + 1.5% Heryaki probiotic). The results showed that the addition of probiotic mix culture had no significant effect (P>0.05) on crude fiber and crude protein. The crude fiber (15.738%-17.714%) and crude protein (10.676%-12.019%). The conclusion of this study was that the addition of mix culture probiotics on anaerobic fermentation of coffee peel did not affect the crude fiber and crude protein content.

- Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Tingkat Adopsi Asuransi Usahatani Padi
(Autp) Di Kota Sukabumi

Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat adopsi Asuransi Usahatani Padi (AUTP) di Kota Sukabumi dan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat adopsi Asuransi Usahatani Padi (AUTP) di Kota Sukabumi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor luas lahan, pendidikan, pendapatan, lama usahatani dan keikutsertaan petani berpengaruh positif atau dapat mempengaruhi tingkat adopsi Asuransi Usahatani Padi (AUTP) di Kota Sukabumi. Faktor luas lahan merupakan yang paling dominan dalam mempengaruhi tingkat adopsi Asuransi Usaha Tani Padi (AUTP) yaitu sebesar 129 %.Hal ini disebabkan tingkat ketertarikan, pengambil keputusan, status terdaftar, dan tahap konfirmasi petani padi sawah di Kota Sukabumi terhadap program AUTP sangat tinggi, sehingga umur, pendidikan, pendapatan, lama usahatani dan keikutsertaan dalam kelompok tani membuat pengetahuan dan wawasan petani padi sawah semakin terbuka apabila terjadi gagal panen dilahannya sendiri.

Abstract: This study aims to determine the relationship between the production system and partnership cooperation with the success of Hanjuang (Cordyline fruticosa) ornamental plant farming. The unit of analysis is the Hanjuang Ornamental Plant Farmers in partnership with PT. Noah Han Semesta in Sukalarang District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java Province. The analysis technique used is Pearson correlation analysis and path analysis. The results showed that the performance of Hanjuang ornamental plant farming was quite profitable, with an income of Rp44,957,631,-. The Product planning subsystem; production input subsystem; process subsystem; and control subsystem obtained an achievement level of 80.24% outstanding criteria. Provision of production facilities, Technical guidance, and Marketing of Production Results obtained a level of achievement of 78.95% (good criteria). The following dimensions: productivity; plant quality; and efficiency of farming, obtained a level of achievement of 78.81% (good criteria). Production systems and partnerships have a positive and significant effect on the success of Hanjuang ornamental plant farming. The contribution of the Production System was obtained by 27.27%, and the Partnership and Partnership variable's contribution was 44.24 %.

Abstract: ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the activities of women farmers in the opak agroindustry, their income and their contribution to household income in Cikurubuk Village, Buahdua District, Sumedang Regency. The research method used is a survey with a census sampling technique consisting of 10 female farmers as samples. The purpose of this study was to determine : 1) the amount of expenses incurred by opak craftsmen in Cikurubuk Village, Buahdua District, Sumedang Regency, 2) The amount of opak agroindustry income per month in Cikurubuk Village, Buahdua District, Sumedang Regency, 3) Contribution monthly income of opak agroindustry to family income in Cikurubuk Village, Buahdua District, Sumedang Regency. The method used in this research is a survey of opak craftsmen women farmers in the area of Cikurubuk Village. Meanwhile, data processing uses cost, revenue, income, and contribution analysis of opak agroindustry. The results of the study show: 1) The average total cost incurred by opak craftsmen in Cikurubuk Village, Buahdua District on opak agroindustry per one production process is Rp. 813.168.-; 2) The average total income earned by the opak craftsmen in Cikurubuk Village in the opak agro-industry per one production process is Rp. 458532,-; 3) The average income contribution of respondents from the opak agroindustry is 55,34 % (Rp 3.668.256,-).

- Qualitative Traits of Muscovy duck (Cairina moschata) in Ciayumajakuning,
West Java, Indonesia

Abstract: Qualitative traits can be used as a reference for entog development and conservation. Qualitative traits are indispensable for selection based on phenotypics such as plumage color, beak color, and shank color. The research objective was studied the qualitative traits of entog in Ciayumajakuning (Cirebon, Indramayu, Majalengka, dan Kuningan). This research uses survey method with sampling technique of multistage probability random sampling. The research object observed are 673 Muscovy ducks consisting of 309 drake and 364 duck. Data analysis applies descriptive qualitative analysis method. The results of research show that duck Muscovy ducks plumage colors are dominated by black and white (44.78%), only white (28.30%), and only black (17.86%); while drake are dominated by only white (45%), black and white (35.9%), and gray (7, 77%). The duck beak colors are dominated by black (25.82%), black and white (20.60%), and pink (23.63%); while drake beak colors include pink (38.80%), black (21.00%), and black and white (19.40%). Duck shank colors are dominated by black (39.29%), white (27.29%), and yellow (18.68%); while drake shank colors, among others, are yellow (41.70%), black (29.80%), black and white (12.00%). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the qualitative traits of Muscovy duck in Ciayumajakuning are quite diverse.

- Pengujian Ekstrak Kulit Buah Jengkol Sebagai Pestisida Nabati Pada Keong
Mas

Abstract: Mas snail (Pomacea canaliculata) is one of the pests that attack paddy plant. These pests eat young plants until they are ready to be harvested. Therefore an effective method needed to control it. One method that can be used is plant extracts from jengkol fruit peel which can be used as a natural pesticide. The active compounds of saponins in jengkol fruit peel can reduce the activity of digestive enzymes and absorption of snail food. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of jengkol (Pithecellobium jiringa) peel extract as a natural pesticide against mas snail (Pomacea canaliculata). The research was carried out by making an extract consisting of 1 kg of jengkol fruit peel that blended together with 1 L of distilled water. The extract was then filtered and applied to the golden snail with different concentrations for each treatment, namely 0ml/L (M0), 4ml/L (M1), 5ml/L (M2), 6ml/L (M3) and 7ml/L (M4). The results showed that jengkol fruit peel extract was effective in controlling golden snail pests with the best concentration of 7 ml/L.

- Implementation of green bean waste in the ration on production performance
of Padjadjaran laying duck

Abstract: The green bean waste ration implementation to the quality of duck egg padjadjaran have been done in cage experiment, Faculty of Animal Husbandry Padjadjaran University, Jatinangor, Sumedang-West Java. An exsperiment using laying ducks padjadjaran age 40 weeks as 64 ducks. The research used to Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 4 replications of, R0 (100% control rations); R1 (10% green bean waste + 90% control rations); R2 (20% green bean waste + 80% control rations); and R3 (30% green bean waste + 70% control rations); and to see the effect of trend pattern of each treatment was done by orthogonal polynomial test. The results (1) egg production average is R0 (68.45%); R1 (70.84%); R2 (74.40%) and R3 (74.78%) was significantly different (P<0.05) more highly than without control rations;(2) rations of consumption is R0 (154.56 gram); R1 (150.31 gram); R2 (150.18 gram); and R3 (150.60 gram) was significantly different (P<0.05) more highly than without control rations; (3) feed conversion rations is R0 (3.45); R1 (3.44); R2 (3.38); and R3 (3.35) was not significantly different (P>0.05), but significantly different between treatments R0 and R2; R0 and R3 (P<0.05). The use of green bean waste up to 30% in laying ducks rations real increase egg production, improve consumption and feed conversion rations.

- Karakteristik Fisik Dan Organoleptik Nugget Ayam Petelur Afkir Dengan
Penambahan Tepung Ubi Jalar Ungu (Ipomoea batatas)

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to obtain the optimum formulation using purple sweet potato flour as a filler for the physical and organoleptic properties of rejected laying hen nuggets. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications, namely substitution of wheat flour using purple sweet potato flour (P0 = 0%, P1 = 35%, P2 = 70%, P3 = 100%). The data obtained were analyzed using the ANOVA test (analysis of variance). Furthermore, to find out significant differences between treatments, Duncan's multiple range test was carried out. The results showed that the addition of purple sweet potato flour to the nuggets of the culled layers gave a significant effect on cooking loss, color, aroma, texture and taste but had no effect on the pH of the nuggets of the culled layers. Furthermore, the best value of organoleptic properties of culled chicken nuggets was in the 35% treatment using sweet potato flour. It can be concluded that to obtain good physical and organoleptic properties, the addition of purple sweet potato flour as much as 35%.

Abstract: The livestock sector has long been a source of livelihood for the people of Indonesia. In addition to having a positive impact, the increase in livestock business also has a negative impact, namely from the waste produced in the form of feces and urine. Vegetable waste is a waste material which is usually disposed of in open dumping without further management so that it will cause environmental disturbances and unpleasant odors. Recycling organic waste into something useful again can be done in various ways, among others, by making organic waste as earthworm feed which will later produce vermicompost fertilizer. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 5 treatments and 4 replications, each treatment having a concentration of P0 = 100% cow feces + 0% cabbage waste, P1 = 75% cow feces + 25% cabbage waste, P2 = 50% cow feces 50 % Cabbage Waste, P3 = 25% Cow Feces + 75% Cabbage Waste, P4 = 0% Cow Feces + 100% Cabbage Waste. The results in this study are all treatments that produce temperature and pH are stated in accordance with SNI 19-7030-2004 the temperature is not more than 30 and the pH ranges from 6.80-7.49. While the production of vermicompost produces P3 as a treatment that produces the highest production, namely with a production of 1400 grams with a waste degradation of 40.0%.

- Determinasi Kualitas Dedak Padi yang Dipasarkan Di Kota Jambi Secara Uji

Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji kualitas dedak padi yang dipasarkan di Kota Jambi berdasarkan uji makroskopik (kerapatan tumpukan, kerapatan sekam) dan kandungan kimiawi (kadar air, kadar abu, protein kasar dan serat kasar) serta mengetahui tingkat pencampuran (adulteration) sekam pada dedak padi. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) tak seimbang terdiri dari 4 perlakuan, Perlakuan tersebut antara lain ; P1 : toko bahan pakan ternak skala besar (> 2000 ton/bulan); P2 : toko bahan pakan ternak skala sedang (1000 – 2000 ton/bulan); P3 : toko bahan pakan ternak skala kecil (<1000 ton/bulan); P4 : dedak murni (huller). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai kerapatan tumpukan, persentase sekam, protein kasar dan serat kasar berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) pada toko bahan pakan ternak. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa kualitas dedak padi memiliki kualitas kurang baik. Kadar serat kasar pada dedak padi yang tinggi dan kadar protein kasar yang rendah. Persamaan hubungan kerapatan tumpukan dengan protein kasar dan serat kasar tersebut dapat membantu dalam pendugaan sifat kimia terutama protein kasar dan serat kasar.

- Efisiensi Ekonomis Usahatani Kelor Organik Di Moringa Organik Indonesia

Abstract: Limitless study that conducted on moringa farming inversely to the benefits that have been felt by many people. Both as herbal medicine and as an alternative vegetable. The research has purpose to get know about the economical moringa used as community farming with examining the economic efficiency of moringa farming in Blora Regency precisely in Moringa Organic Indonesia Corp. Information and data were obtained from twenty respondents of Moringa farmers who have been cultivating Moringa for the last five to seven years. The data were analyzed using the Cobb Douglas production function approach and stochastic frontier analysis which will measure technical, allocative and economic efficiency. The results showed that: 1) Moringa farming in Blora has achieved technical efficiency. The average technical efficiency is 0.93. The lowest technical efficiency is 0.8 and the highest is 1.00; 2) The level of allocative efficiency of Moringa farming is on average 1.00 so that it is declared perfect efficiency; 3) Moringa farming in Blora achieves an economic efficiency of 0.93. It is hoped that the results of this study will provide information to the wider community that Moringa is one of the economic commodities that can be used as a source of income and can improve welfare in addition to meeting the nutritional needs of the community.
