  • TINGKAT KEPUASAN PASIEN TERHADAP PELAYANAN INFORMASI OBAT DI APOTEK DOA
           BUNDA SENTANI KABUPATEN JAYAPURA

      Abstract: Research has been carried out on the level of patient satisfaction with drug information services at the Doa Bunda Sentani Pharmacy. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of patient satisfaction in drug information services at the Doa Bunda Sentani Pharmacy, Jayapura Regency. The study was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 100 patients who came for treatment from April to June 2022. This type of research is descriptive by filling out questionnaires to visitors to the Doa Bunda Sentani pharmacy, Jayapura Regency. The results showed that the mean score for measuring the level of patient satisfaction with each measurement indicator, namely for responsiveness was 81.7% which indicated that the patient was satisfied, and the mean score for reliability was 80.5% which indicated that the patient was satisfied, the mean score for empathy is 84% ​​which indicates that the patient is satisfied, the mean score for direct evidence is 72%, which indicates that the patient is very satisfied. It can be concluded that the average value is 78.1%. This shows that in this study the level of patient satisfaction with drug information services at the Doa Bunda Sentani Pharmacy, Jayapura Regency, was in the satisfied category.

      Abstract: Candida spp. it has been possessed of different virulence and resistance patterns in each species, C. albicans remains the main pathogen in infected hosts, but non-albicans Candida also tries with infection. This study aimed to identify Candida species in the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BAL) sample of patients with lower respiratory infections with the method of multiplex PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction). This study was a descriptive and analytical study with a cross-sectional approach, with BAL samples taken from Wahidin Sudirohusodo Hospital. Identification method using multiplex PCR, beginning with screening through culture as the gold standard. Culture on SDA (Sabouraud Dextrose Agar) media from 103 samples of bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BAL), including 23 samples (22.3%) positive for Candida spp., and positive results related to genotype with multiplex PCR, including 10/23 (43, 5%) C. albicans, and 5/23 (21.7%) C. albicans + C. glabrata. As much as 65.2 % Candida spp. found in males.

  • KETERLIBATAN MASYARAKAT TERHADAP PENCEMARAN PERAIRAN PESISIR KOTA PALOPO

      Abstract: The amount of population pressure in coastal areas is one of the factors causing damage to the aquatic environment. Damage to the coastal environment is dominated by oil pollution, mangrove damage, coastal abrasion and waste. This phenomenon indicates that communities activity is a major cause of damage to the coastal environment. This research aims to study the implication of communities in terms of knowledge, attitudes and behavior of coastal communities against coastal water pollution. The method used of survey, documentation, and interview to the coastal communities in Palopo with a questionnaire. The data questionnaire analysis was carried out descriptively. The results of the analysis of the questionnaire data show that the low percentage of the level of knowledge of coastal communities about management rules and the importance of protecting the environment influences the attitudes and behavior of the people who tend to dispose of waste into the aquatic environment.

  • INOVASI PEMBELAJARAN BIOLOGI MELALUI PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA VIDEO PENUNTUN
           PRAKTIKUM UNTUK SISWA SMA/MA

      Abstract: One of the innovations in biology learning today is developing conventional biotechnology practicum video media. This media was developed to determine the level of validity and practicality of video media for practicum on conventional biotechnology material for class XII MIPA at SMA Negeri 15 Luwu. This research was conducted using a research and development approach as well as a 4D development model. The 4D stage consists of 4 stages, namely (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Develop, (4) Disseminate on a small scale. Data from the assessment results from expert validators shows that the product developed is in the valid category so that it is feasible to use. The results of the trial in schools to obtain data on the practicality of the media obtained a score of 91.7% (very practical) by the teacher and the score obtained from students 83.3% (practical). Based on the research data, it can be concluded that the video media for practicum on conventional biotechnology material for class XII SMA/MA that has been developed meets the valid criteria and is very practical

  • UJI KEPRAKTISAN INSTRUMEN TES BERORIENTASI HIGHER ORDER THINKING SKILL
           (HOTS) PADA MATERI SISTEM EKSKRESI KELAS XI SMA/MA

      Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kepraktisan instrumen tes berorientasi HOTS pada materi sistem ekskresi kelas XI SMA/MA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan R&D (Research and Development) mengacu pada model pengembangan Mc.Intire yang memiliki 10 tahapan di antaranya: 1) Mendefinisikan Kompetensi, Peserta Tes, dan Tujuan Tes, 2) Mengembangkan Rencana Uji, 3) Menyusun Item Tes, 4) Menulis Instruksi Administrasi, 5) Melakukan Uji Coba, 6) Analisis Item, 7) Merevisi Tes, 8) Validasi Tes, 9) Mengembangkan Norma, 10) Melengkapi Tes Manual. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di MAN 1 Mamuju pada bulan April 2022. Tahapan implementasi pengerjaan soal HOTS mengambil subjek penelitian yaitu 2 orang guru Biologi dan 32 orang peserta didik kelas XI. Untuk menguji kepraktisan soal HOTS, dilakukan penyebaran angket respons kepada guru dan peserta didik. Hasil respons guru diperoleh nilai X > 136 (sangat baik) sementara respons peserta didik diperoleh nilai 1075 < X ≤ 1306 (baik). Dari analisis ini dapat dinyatakan instrumen tes yang dikembangkan bersifat sangat praktis bagi guru dan praktis bagi peserta didik.

      Abstract: Kemampuan berpikir kritis adalah salah satu kemampuan yang dituntut untuk dimiliki pada saat ini. Berpikir kritis adalah kemampuan untuk mengumpulkan dan mengolah suatu informasi untuk disimpulkan dan dikomunikasikan. Mengingat betapa pentingnya kemampuan tersebut, maka berpikir kritis harus diintegrasikan di dalam proses pembelajaran. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis adalah problem based learning. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji berbagai artikel ilmiah terkait penerapan problem based learning dalam pembelajaran materi pencemaran lingkungan guna meningkatkan berpikir kritis peserta didik sebagai upaya untuk melakukan pembuktian terhadap keberadaan pengaruh model pembelajaran tersebut. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode studi literatur terhadap artikel ilmiah pada jurnal dan prosiding 10 tahun terakhir. Sebanyak 21 artikel yang dikumpulkan dan dianalisis yang membuktikan bahwa model problem based learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis pada materi pencemaran lingkungan.

  • EDUKASI KOLABORASI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PENGETAHUAN PASIEN STROKE TERHADAP
           TINDAKAN PERAWATAN DI RUMAH

      Abstract: Patient education is a part of a health promotion effort conducted by hospital to improve prevention and care for stroke patients. This study aimed to evaluate patient education services carried out by the Stroke Unit at Dr. Sardjito Hospital. Data collection was performed through in-depth interviews, observation, and document studies. Determination of participants was carried out by purposive sampling method in accordance with the specified inclusion and exclusion criteria. The number of participants in this study were 12 people. Participants consisted of 3 people (educational services), 5 people (education officers), and the target of education was the family of stroke patients (4 people). The validity of the data used triangulation method and triangulation sources. Education could increase the understanding and the awareness of patients and families of stroke patients in conducting disease diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and recovery from disease. The findings in this study were that collaborative education was not fully said to be more effective than independent education. Some educational targets found it difficult to understand the information provided in a comprehensive and massive manner. Some of the factors that influenced the target acceptance of education were education status, age, and the way the officer communicates the information. It was important to conduct an initial assessment upon the target characteristics before providing information in order the objectives of education implementation could be achieved optimally. The attitude and manner of delivering educators was also a key point for the success of education.

      Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen tes berorientasi Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) pada materi sistem ekskresi sebagai instrumen penilaian yang valid. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian Research & Development (R&D) mengacu pada model Mc. Intire yang memiliki 10 tahapan di antaranya: 1) Mendefinisikan Kompetensi, Peserta Tes, dan Tujuan Tes, 2) Mengembangkan Rencana Uji, 3) Menyusun Item Tes, 4) Menulis Instruksi Administrasi, 5) Melakukan Uji Coba, 6) Analisis Item, 7) Merevisi Tes, 8) Validasi Tes, 9) Mengembangkan Norma, 10) Lengkapi Tes Manual. Produk akhir adalah soal ujian berorientasi Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS) menghasilkan 30 butir soal pilihan ganda yang berada pada tingkat kognitif C4 (menganalisis) – C6 (mencipta) yang divalidasi oleh validator ahli. Hasil validasi oleh kedua dosen validator menunjukkan bahwa X > 109 (hasil validasi menurut Widoyoko) sehingga  instrumen tes yang dikembangkan dinyatakan sangat valid.

  • Keanekaragaman Kupu-kupu (Subordo: Rhopalocera) Di Taman Nasional Ujung
           Kulon

      Abstract: Studi ini bermaksud mengetahui keanekaragaman kupu-kupu (Subordo: Rhopalocera) di Taman Nasional Ujung Kulon (TNUK). Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada 4 stasiun yaitu Pulau Peucang, Pulau Handeleum, Cigenter dan Cidaon. Studi ini dilaksanakan pada Mei – Juni 2021. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode jelajah (pollard walk) serta menggunakan teknik sweeping net untuk menangkap sampel yang berada di area penelitian. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dua sesi yaitu 08.00 – 11.00 WIB dan 14.00 – 16.00 WIB. Data dijabarkan dengan indeks keanekaragaman Shanon-Wiener, indeks kemerataan jenis, dan indeks dominansi Simpson. Hasil studi mengungkapkan total kupu-kupu yang dijumpai sebanyak 23 jenis yang terdiri dari lima famili. Stasiun 3 Cigenter memiliki nilai indeks keanekaragaman jenis kupu-kupu tertinggi (H'= 2,86), dan nilai indeks keanekaragaman terendah terdapat di stasiun 1 Pulau Peucang (H'= 1,91). Keanekaragaman jenis kupu-kupu di Taman Nasional Ujung Kulon tergolong sedang dengan nilai indeks keanekaragaman sebesar 2,37.

      Abstract: Bad breath (Halitosis) is one of the oral health problems that many people complain about after caries and periodontal disease. Plants that have the potential to be used as mouthwash preparations are gambier leaves and areca nut seeds. The content of phenol and catechin compounds has the ability as a bactericidal. Meanwhile, areca nut has the ability to inhibit the release of calcium ions in the tooth demineralization process stimulated by Streptococcus mutans. This study aims to determine the evaluation results of a combination of gambier leaf and areca nut mouthwash preparations with concentrations of 0.5%, 1%, and 1.5% with several physical parameters, namely organoleptic tests, pH tests, clarity tests, and viscosity tests. Physical stability testing was carried out on Day 0 and Day 7. The results of the organoleptic test are liquid, odorless, white and yellowish brown, sweet and bitter taste. ptest day 0 on controls, F1, F2, and F3, namely 6.2, 4.8, 4.8, 4.6, and day 7 on controls, F1, F2, and F3, namely 6.2, 4 ,7, 4,6, 4,4. Clarity test on day 0 and day 7 controls, F1, F2, and F3 were clear. Viscosity test day 0 on controls, F1, F2, and F3, namely 11.40 cPoises, 9.88 cPoises, 7,271 cPoises, 10.13 cPoises and day 7 on controls, F1, F2, and F3, namely 7,725 cPoises, 9,380 cPoises, 10,218 cPoises, 11 cPoises.

  • ANALISIS KETERAMPILAN KOLABORASI PESERTA DIDIK KELAS XI MIA SMA NEGERI 1
           BARRU PADA MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF NUMBER HEADS TOGETHER

      Abstract: Abstrak Keterampilan kolaborasi merupakan salah satu dari keterampilan abad 21 yang penting dimiliki oleh setiap individu, dimana saat ini bukan lagi masa untuk saling bersaing dan menutup diri, namun telah memasuki masa untuk saling berkolaborasi dalam menghadapi tantangan era society 5.0. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Barru pada model pembelajaran kooperatif Number Heads Together (NHT). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Metode diskripitif digunakan untuk mendapatkan data tentang keterampilan kolaborasi peserta didik yang kemudian diinterpretasi mengenai data yang telah didapatkan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 1 Barru. Teknik pengambilan  sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengampilan sampel secara acak (random sampling) secara sederhana sehingga dipilih kelas XI MIA 1 dan XI MIA 2 sebagai sampel penelitian dengan total sampel sebanyak 63 orang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan dalam dalam peneilitian ini adalah lembar observasi keterampilan kolaborasi yang kemudian akan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil pengumpulan data mengguanakan angket keterampilan kolaborasi didapatkan data bahwa sebagian besar peserta didik memiliki skor keterampilan kolaborasi pada kategori tinggi yaitu 54%, kemudian 30% berada pada kategori sangat tinggi, 11% berada pada kategori sedang walaupun masih terdapat peserta didik yang memiliki skor kategori rendah yaitu sebanyak 5%.

      Abstract: Strategi pembelajaran aktif adalah suatu strategi yang mendorong siswa untuk aktif dalam pembelajaran yang berlangsung, untuk meningkatakan keaktifan tersebut siswa harus berinteraksi terhadap teman-teman nya, dengan metode listening team yang mana lebih menekankan siswa untuk aktif dalam kelompok di kelas, maka dari itu pembelajaran yang berjalanya akan efektif dan terarah. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tanggal 21 Mei 2022 di Sma Al-Wasliyah 7Sei Rampah. Penelitian ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa  dalam  metode strategi listening team, yang mana disini listening team ialah keaktifan siswa dalam interaksi pada kelompok nya atau pada orang lain di sekitarnya.LKPD (Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik), RPP (Rencana Pembelajaran Peserta didik) dan PPT (Power Point disertakan HP (Handphone). Teknik pertama ini adalah teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan secara langsung. Untuk melakukan observasi seorang peneliti diharuskan melakukan  pengamatan di tempat dimana objek penelitian diamati, menggunakan pancaindra yang kemudian dikumpulkan dalam catatan atau alat rekam.

  • EFEKTIVITAS ANTIBAKTERI EKSTRAK KULIT BUAH SALAK (Salacca zalacca)
           TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN Streptococcus mutans SECARA IN VITRO

      Abstract: Plak gigi merupakan lapisan tipis dan lengket di gigi yang terdiri dari berbagai jenis mikroorganisme sehingga membentuk biofilm. Bakteri yang mendominasi pada pembentukan plak gigi adalah Streptococcus mutans. Selama ini untuk mengatasi adanya plak gigi yang disebabkan oleh mikroba patogen seperti S. mutans dengan menggunakan antibiotik. Namun, kendala yang dihadapi yaitu masalah resistensi terhadap antibiotik. Alternatif yang dapat dilakukan yaitu dengan memanfaatkan senyawa bioaktif yang terkandung dalam tanaman obat. Salah satu tanaman yang memiliki banyak manfaat untuk kesehatan yaitu buah salak (Salacca zalacca). Selain itu, bagian kulit buah salak merupakan limbah yang sudah tidak digunakan akan tetapi memiliki banyak senyawa bioaktif sehingga berpotensi untuk dijadikan sebagai antimikroba. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui efektivitas antibakteri dari ekstrak kulit buah salak (S. zalacca) terhadap pertumbuhan bakteri S. mutans. Metode yang digunakan pada uji antibakteri yaitu metode difusi. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan ekstrak kulit buah salak (S. zalacca) dapat menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri S. mutans pada konsentrasi ekstrak 5%, 10% dan 15%. Pada konsentrasi 15% (P15) menunjukkan penghambatan yang tinggi dengan rata rata diameter zona hambat sebesar 12,7 mm.

      Abstract: Penelitian tindakan ini bertujuan untuk:(1) memperoleh deskripsi tentang peningkatan hasil  belajar Biologi siswa kelas VIII UPT SPF SMP Negeri 8 Makassar pada pokok bahasan sistem organ pada manusia; (2) meningkatkan aktifitas dan hasil belajar Biologi siswa kelas VIII UPT SPF SMP Negeri 8 Makassar pada pokok bahasan sistem organ pada manusia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pembelajaran dengan model kolaborasi memiliki dampak positif dalam meningkatkan belajar siswa yang ditandai dengan peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa dalam setiap siklus, yaitu siklus I 68,57%, siklus II 85,71%; (2) Penerapan model kolaborasi mempunyai pengaruh positif, yaitu dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa yang ditunjukan dengan rata-rata jawaban siswa hasil wawancara yang menyatakan bahwa siswa tertarik dan berminat dengn model kolaborasi sehingga mereka menjadi termotivasi untuk belajar.

  • ANALISIS PROKSIMAT KERUPUK DAUN JERUJU DARI TANAMAN JERUJU (Acanthus

      Abstract: Proximate analysis is an analysis performed to determine the nutritional value contained in a food or processed food. This study aims to determine the water content, protein content, fat content, ash content and carbohydrate content of Jeruju leaf crackers. The method used in this research was an experimental method in the laboratory by analyzing the water content, protein content, fat content, ash content and protein content of Jeruju leaf crackers. From the research conducted, the water content results for the S1 treatment were 3.17 + 0.12; S2 is 6.58 + 0.01 and S3 is 6.51 + 0.53. The resulting protein content for the S1 treatment was 28.65 + 0.52; S2 of 31.78 + 0.53; S3 is 23.97 + 1.05. The resulting fat content for the S1 treatment was 24.49 + 0.06; S2 is 19.74 + 0.01 and S3 is 21.64 + 0.06. The resulting ash content for the S1 treatment was 2.12 + 0.01; S2 is 1.4 + 0.01 and S3 is 1.39 + 0.02. The resulting carbohydrate content for the S1 treatment was 41.55 + 0.5; S2 is 40.46 + 0.5 and S3 is 46.47 + 1.       Abstract: Development of Student Worksheets Based on Project Based Learning (PjBL)  Integrated  TPACK Integrated  TPACK is backgrounded by the innovation of  teaching materials relevant to the  development of the 21st century.  The purpose of this study is to increase the effectiveness of the Student Worksheet on the Class X SMA Biodiversity material which has been developed and is valid, practical, and effective. This type of research is development research (R & D) and uses a 4D model development model. 4D stages consist of 4, namely (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Develop, (4) Disseminate. Based on the evaluation of LKPD by expert validators, it shows that the LKPD is valid with a value of 4,3 which means it is valid.  For the practicality of the product that has been obtained from the teacher's response with a value of 100% which means it is very practical, and the response from students with a value of 86% which means very practical.   For the effectiveness of the product obtained from the learning outcomes test with a value of 75.7% (effective). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the development of Student Worksheets is valid, practical, and effective.

      Abstract: Latarbelakang penelitian ini adalah adanya dampak kemajuan globalisasi pada bidang Pendidikan dimana peserta didik mengalami kesulitan belajar khususnya pada mata pelajaran biologi. Agar tujuan pembelajaran dapat tercapai maka proses pembelajaran juga harus disesuaikan dengan kondisi yang dibutuhkan. Peserta didik perlu dibiasakan untuk mencari informasi dari berbagai sumber dan memecahkan permasalahan secara individu maupun perkelompok. Menyikapi permasalahan tersebut, perlu diterapkan model pembelajaran yang tepat dan efektif. Model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing sebagai salah satu model pembelajaran yang efektif diterapkan dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran biologi pokok materi virus. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperiment). Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Jeneponto yang terdiri dari 35 peserta didik. instrument yang digunakan yaitu tes hasil belajar kognitif dan observasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis menggunakan uji-t. hasil analisis uji-t menunjukkan bahwa perubahan nilai peserta didik dari pre ke post test termasuk dalam kategori cukup efektif. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Inkuiri Terbimbing berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Biologi kelas X IPA SMA Negeri 2 Jeneponto.

      Abstract: Innovation efforts in the development of teaching materials have been carried out through development research procedures with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) in the Biotechnology course. This study aims to develop STEM-based handouts on the concept of Fermentation, determine the validity of STEM-based handouts based on the feasibility aspects of content, presentation, language, STEM and graphics, and determine user responses to STEM-based handout products. The results of this development indicate that STEM-based handouts are feasible to use with a feasibility assessment by experts of 83.61%. For user responses from 6th semester students of Biology Education Study Program, it is known that STEM-based handout products can be used in Biotechnology learning with a score of 73.71%. Recommendations from this research need to improve the design with STEM characteristics in technology and engineering aspects as well as more detailed mathematics.

      Abstract: This study aims to describe the increase in learning outcomes after the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach is applied to students in class VIII UPT SPF SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa. This research is a Classroom Action Research by applying the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach to two learning cycles in Biology subject. From the results of research data analysis in the implementation of learning improvements that through the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach in Biology subjects in class VIII UPT SPF SMP Negeri 1 Sungguminasa increased. This is evidenced by an increase in student learning outcomes from the first cycle which is in the sufficient category in the second cycle increases and is in the good category. The learning process through the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach from the aspects of teachers and students can be seen increasing based on observations made in each cycle. The teacher's teaching activity in cycle I was in the good category, increasing in cycle II to the very good category. Meanwhile, student learning activities in cycle I were in the very poor category, increasing in cycle II in the very good category. Keywords: Biology, CTL Approach

      Abstract: Infeksi pada kulit atau jerawat adalah masalah yang disebabkan oleh bakteri, salah satu bakteri penyebab jerawat adalah bakteri Propionibacterium acnes dan Staphylococcus aureus. Terapi untuk mengatasi jerawat ini dapat dilakukan dengan menggunakan obat herbal. Kini banyak masyarakat yang menggunakan obat herbal karena relative lebih aman dibandingkan dengan obat-obatan kimia sehingga mudah diperoleh, murah, tidak terjadi resistance, dan tidak berbahaya terhadap lingkungan sekitarnya.  Salah satu tanaman herbal yang dapat dijadikan obat penyakit kulit yaitu daun cocor bebek, dari beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tananaman ini memiliki potensi untuk menghambat bakteri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui aktivitas antibakteri ekstrak metanol daun cocor bebek terhadap Propionibacterium acnes dan Staphylococcus aureus pada konsentrasi 20%, 40%, dan 60%. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode difusi agar dan difusi chakram pada media Mueller Hinton Agar (MHA) dengan beberapa konsentrasi ekstrak metanol dari daun cocor bebek yaitu 20%, 40%, 60% serta kontrol positive clindamycin untuk bakteri Propionibacterium acnes dan Ciprofloxacin untuk bakteri Staphylococcus aureus, dan DMSO sebagai kontrol negatif. Diameter hambat yang dihasilkan pada pengujian ekstrak metanol daun cocor bebek terhadap bakteri Propionibacterium acnes adalah konsentrasi 20% (9,77 mm), 40% (11,25 mm), 60% (11,61 mm). Sedangkan pada bakteri Staphylococcus aureus, konsentrasi 20% (11,58), 40% (14,75) dan 60% (17,08) mm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ekstrak metanol daun cocor bebek memiliki aktivitas menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri Propionibacterium acnes dan Staphylococcus aureus.

      Abstract: Industrial merbau wood sawn waste has not been utilized as an alternative fuel. The increase in fuel prices is a policy dilemma for the government and currently subsidies have been abolished, because most of them only benefit the upper class and industry. The problems faced by both rural and urban communities are due to the expensive and unaffordable price of fuel, delays in supply which result in scarcity and long queues to get fuel. Sawn waste is a problem for the PT industry. Global Mandiri, which has not been used or managed, causing environmental pollution. With these conditions the author was moved to raise the problem through thought, by utilizing sawn timber industrial waste as an energy source around community settlements which is quite abundant as an alternative energy source. The purpose of this study was to obtain the quality of charcoal briquettes from sawdust of merbau wood as an alternative fuel. The research method used was an experimental method with 3 treatments, namely 5%, 4%, and 3% adhesives with a loading of 2000 lbm, 2500 lbm, 3000 lbm. The results of this study indicated that the density values ​​of charcoal briquettes were 0.714 and 0.789 gr/m3 at a concentration of 5% adhesive. At 4% adhesive concentration, the density values ​​were 0.771 gr/m3 and 1.054 gr/m3. For an adhesive concentration of 3%, the briquette density values ​​were obtained at 1.046 gr/m3 and 1.121 kg/m3. Of the three treatments, it is not close to the standard SN density value. Likewise, the water content obtained was 11.26%, which was not included in the SN. For the highest ash content, 8.3% is included in the SN standard. The results of the briquettes burning test showed that there was no smoke, no cracks, and did not quickly produce high ash and coal. The weight of the tested briquettes was 36.31 grams and it took 1.16'52 "hours to burn them to ashes. So that this research can be used as a suggestion in the manufacture of charcoal briquettes

      Abstract:  This research is a type of quasi-experimental research, which aims to determine differences in cognitive, affective and psychomorphic learning outcomes of students by applying the Make a Match type cooperative learning model with The Power of Two in class XI students of Madrasah Aliyah Madani Alauddin Pao-pao, Gowa Regency. In this study, the experimental group I applied the Make a Match cooperative learning model and the experimental group II applied the The Power of Two cooperative learning model. The research instrument was a Learning Outcome Test (THB) to measure cognitive learning outcomes, and observation sheets to measure students' affective and psychomotor learning outcomes. Data were analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics (Anacova and Anova with α = 0.05) with the help of the SPSS 18.0 for windows program. The results of this study indicate that there are significant differences in cognitive, affective and psychomorphic learning outcomes between students who are taught using the Make a Match type cooperative learning model and students who are taught using The Power of Two learning model.

      Abstract: The purpose of this research is to analyze the level of students' learning difficulties in learning science. The type of research is qualitative research. The subjects in this study were 19 students in class V at SDN 61 Mario, Ponrang District, Luwu Regency. Data collection techniques in this research is questionnaires. The research instrument used was a questionnaire on students' natural science learning difficulties which consisted of 30 questions. The data analysis technique used was data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicated that the results of the questionnaire analysis on the difficulty factor of learning science for indicators of learning motivation were 65.66%, Interest was 62.87%, Attitude was 60.96%, school environment by 59.90% and family environment by 66.42%.

      Abstract: This study aims to determine the scientific literacy ability of students in biology learning at SMAN 1 Bone. The research method used is descriptive quantitative research method. The population of this research is all students of MIPA class at SMAN 1 Bone. The research sample was 102 class XII students with jenuh sampling technique of determining the sample. The data collection technique was in the form of multiple choice test questions for students' scientific literacy skills with a total of 30 questions. Based on the research that has been carried out on SMAN 1 Bone students, it can be concluded that the highest scientific literacy ability of SMAN 1 Bone students is in the medium category with the correct percentage of  77.4%. This means that some students in Bone Regency are able to think rationally and scientifically to solve a problem at hand. this indicates that some students have understood in managing their knowledge to solve various problems by making decisions based on scientific considerations
