  • Analysis of Items in the Mid-Semester Assessment of Science Class VII SMP
           Yapis Manokwari

    • Authors: Eko Prayetno, Irfan Yusuf, Mujasam Mujasam
      Pages: 75 - 87
Abstract: The purpose of this study was to analyze the test items in the midterm assessment using the Rasch model in terms of validity, reliability, level of difficulty, discriminating power, and the effectiveness of distractors in class VII science questions at SMP Yapis Manokwari. This research is a quantitative research that uses descriptive quantitative methods with data collection techniques using documentation. Respondent data were 60 students with purposive sampling. The items used in the Mid Semester Assessment are 40 questions. From the validity test, it was found that the suitability level of the items was 35 questions that were fit and 5 questions that were not fit. Student reliability 0.81 means good, item reliability item 0.92 means very good and reliability between students with item 0.83 means special. The level of difficulty of the questions is in the medium category, which means that the questions are good. The discriminating power of the items obtained is that 2 items (5%) are in the very good category, 30 items (75%) are in the good category, 4 items (10%) are in the sufficient category, and 4 items (10%) are bad category, from the items it has succeeded in identifying the distinguishing power of students divided into 3 groups in the category of above average ability, average ability, and below average ability. The effectiveness of the distractor of the 40 questions in the test generally functions well. The conclusion is that the analysis of the items using the Rasch model in the midterm assessment is stated to be valid, reliable, the level of difficulty of the items is very good, the discriminating power is very good, and the effectiveness of the distractors obtained is in the good category.

  • The Impact of Discovery Learning Model Assisted of Mind Mapping Media
Based on Zooming Presentation on Understanding of Students' Concepts in
           Dynamic Electricity Materials

    • Authors: S. Ida Kholida, Fasihatul Qori'ah, Suprianto Suprianto, Titin Sunarti
      Pages: 88 - 94
Abstract: In the teaching process needed by the teacher, namely the use of learning models, because it creates an atmosphere of effectiveness in the classroom and also for understanding and mastering concepts in physics material. According to MA Miftahul Ulum Bettet, students' conceptual understanding, especially in physics, is low, the evidence is that students' daily test results do not reach the minimum completeness criteria. The purpose of this study is whether there is a significant effect applying discovery learning as a learning model with the help of mind mapping based zooming presentation media on dynamic electrical material on understanding concepts. This type of research is a quasi-experimental using a pretest posttest control group design. All students of MA Miftahul Bettet are the research population, while 2 classes as samples are taken randomly, namely class XIA and class XIB. The data acquisition technique uses a test instrument. The data was processed using t-test, the value of tcount > ttable (7.526>2.606) so significant (2-tailed) <0.05 (0.000 <0.05). For this reason, the conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of the application of the discovery learning model with the help of mind mapping based zooming presentation media on students' understanding of the concept of dynamic electricity.

  • Electronic Module Renewable Energy (E-MET): Validity and Practicality
           Aspect

    • Authors: Nurlaela Muhammad, Suryani Taib, Misbah Misbah, Mena Yani, Desy Purwasih
      Pages: 95 - 105
Abstract: The study aims to describe the validity and practicality of E-MET. This research is research and development with the ADDIE model. The E-MET validator for this e-module consists of two people, consisting of academics and practising experts. The validation results using the E-MET validation sheet show that the validity of the e-module on renewable energy material has good criteria. The practicality of the developed E-MET is reviewed based on benefits, usability, and time efficiency as measured through a student response questionnaire. Then the study results show that the practicality of e-modules on renewable energy materials has good criteria. The research was conducted in class XI SMAN 3 Kota Ternate. Therefore, E-MET can be used for physics learning on renewable energy materials.

  • Development of Video Tracker-Assisted E-Modules on Parabolic Motion
Materials to Train Students Critical Thinking

    • Authors: Dimas lingga iswara, Eko Risdianto, Andik Purwanto
      Pages: 106 - 115
Abstract: This study aims to develop a video tracker-assisted e-module on parabolic motion material to train students' critical thinking in 3 high schools in Bengkulu city. This study used R&D with the ADDIE model according to Dick and Carry. The instruments used were observation, interviews and needs analysis questionnaires which obtained an average result of 84.27% with the category strongly agreeing with the development of e-modules. The e-module learning media will be developed according to the design that has been prepared. The instrument used is a validation sheet consisting of 5 aspects according to BNSP, namely the feasibility of content, language, presentation of material, graphing and critical thinking which gets an average percentage of 89.81% with categories very worthy of use. The student perception sheet has 3 aspects, namely the appearance, presentation of the material and benefits which have an average yield of 82.58% which can be categorized as very good for use. So it can be concluded that the development of e-module learning media assisted by video trackers on parabolic motion materials to train students' critical thinking can be used as a learning medium.

  • Development of Canva Aplication based E–Magazine on Static Fluids to
           Improve Student Motivation

    • Authors: Cahya Widya Gunawan, Eko Risdianto, Desy Hanisa Putri
      Pages: 116 - 125
Abstract: This study aims to test the feasibility of E-magazine learning media on static fluid materials to increase student motivation. This research method is ADDIE development model. The assessment instrument used in this study was an expert validation sheet which consisted of content aspects, presentation aspects, linguistic aspects, media aspects and motivational aspects and student perception sheets which consisted of several aspects, namely, material aspects, language aspects, and media aspects. Based on the results of expert validation from. Based on the results of the product validation test, the validator gets an overall average percentage of 86.92% with a very decent category. Based on the results of students' perceptions of the E-magazine, it can be said to be very good in the three Schools, with an overall average percentage of 87.22%. So it can be concluded that learning media products based on E-magazines on static fluid material to increase student learning motivation are very feasible to use.
