  • Analysis of Lower Class Character in Xiao Hong’s Literatures

      Abstract:             Xiao Hong was a female author who devoted much attention to the fate of humans. Her attention and empathy for lower-class people making this character was often seen among various characters in her literatures. She created the character of lower class in society such as beggars, disabled people and farmers through her observation of their lives and her experiences. This essay aims to examine XiaoHong’s character creation and literary perspectives which portrayed her life experiences as a beginning of writing literatures.

      Abstract:           In recent years, Chinese language teaching has been attracting world attention in the field of foreign languages. Based on the study of English as a foreign or second language, the Chinese language teaching community has also developed teaching models that are appropriate for the Chinese language, and has developed many teaching materials that are specific to the Chinese language. However, in the field of a second language "learning," many researchers have also looked to the "acquisition" of the first language (or native language) to make language learning more efficient. In 1999, Dr. Safrran proposed statistical learning, which has attracted attention in the fields of linguistics, anthropology, and cognitive science, and Saffran has used numerous empirical studies to test the relationship between statistical learning mechanisms in the human brain and language acquisition. In this paper, I not only re-examine the relationship between language acquisition and statistical learning but also propose the application and limitations of statistical learning based on the front-line teaching experience.

  • The Study of the Problems of Chinese Characters Teaching in Thailand

      Abstract: This study describes the problems of Chinese characters teaching in Thai people. The aim of this study is to understand various problems related to Chinese characters teaching and to provide guidelines for improving the teaching method of Chinese characters in Thailand to be more effective. The factors which affect the teaching of Chinese characters in Thailand can be divided into 3 main factors: 1) Teacher and learner factors 2) Teaching and learning factors and 3) Chinese characters factors. For Teacher and learner factors, teachers do not emphasize on the importance of memorizing techniques of Chinese characters. Also, teachers do not encourage learners to find out the connection between Chinese characters and pictographic characters. Moreover, teachers do not have enough knowledge about Chinese characters, therefore they cannot convey this knowledge to learners. Learners also have negative attitudes towards Chinese characters, that is, Chinese characters are very difficult and have a large amount. Most learners recite the whole characters without a good understanding on Chinese characters, and not pay much attention to the writing of Chinese characters. In terms of the teaching and learning factors, teaching methods are not attractive and interesting, no various kind of teaching activities, and most of them are not systematic and continuous. The third factor, Chinese character factor, there are a large amount of Chinese characters, some of them are very similar, and some of them have their own limitations. However, there are methods for solving Chinese characters teaching problems: 1) Teachers should be aware of the importance of memorizing Chinese characters. Teacher should apply teaching principles to their class such as the connection between Chinese characters and the real picture, the principles of memorizing Chinese characters, the components of Chinese characters including pictographic elements, phonetic elements, the explanation of Chinese characters etc. 2) Learners should pay more attention to the writing of Chinese characters. Learners also should consider and observe the appearance of characters, the number of strokes, the characteristics of strokes, the different position of strokes, the components of Chinese characters, the form of single characters and the form of picto-phonetic characters which are the largest number of Chinese characters composed of pictographic elements and phonetic elements. 3) Teachers should arrange the sequence of teaching and learning process of Chinese characters and provide the knowledge about Chinese characters continually. Moreover, the revision of Chinese characters should be carried out, and the study plan also should be linked to other subjects. To attract learners’ attentions, teachers should create interesting activities in teaching Chinese characters. Moreover, Chinese characters online teaching should be created, therefore learners can learn by themselves,  and have more channels or opportunities to learn Chinese characters.       Abstract:                                              ABSTRACT           In the development of Thai literature, from ancient literature to modern literature, from modern literature to modern literature, and then to contemporary literature, the influence of foreign literature on Thai literature can be seen at every stage of development. The influence of foreign literature on Thai literature has not only created the cornerstone of Thailand's development, but also promoted the creation and development of Thai literature and promoted the evolution of Thai literature. Under the influence of foreign literature, Thai novels and proses have replaced the dominant position of poetry and drama, and become the main genre of Thai literature, making Thai literature develop in a diversified direction. Through a comparative analysis of the main foreign literature that affects the development of Thai literature, that is, Indian literature, Chinese literature and Western literature, the thesis explains the different roles these foreign literatures have played in influencing the development of Thai literature, the main influencing factors and the scope of influence. The thesis also analyzes the respective characteristics of these foreign literatures in influencing the development of Thai literature.

      Abstract: It is crucial to foster Cultural Intelligence within the human resource management of a global organization. However, there are no scholars in Thailand to explore the relationship between Openness of Experience, CQ, and SWB of Chinese interns. Therefore, this study aims to explore these four variables and give a reference for the Chinese government and human resource department to do the strategy of retaining overseas returnees. This study distributed a questionnaire to 103 Chinese corporate interns who have finished studying and returned from Thailand. The Model 6 of SPSS 25.0 and Process 3.5 was used to conduct the statistical analysis. The results came out: 1. Motivational CQ has partial mediating effect on the relationship between openness to experience and subjective well-being (Effect=.1598, SE=.0724), 95% confidence interval = [.0271, .3128]. 2.Motivational CQ and Subjective well-being is significantly positively correlated to each other (Beta=.464, p=.0034, SE=.15). 3. Openness to experience is significantly positively correlated to subjective well-being (Effect=.2405, p= .0016, SE=.074). 4. Openness to experience has a significant positive impact on motivational cultural intelligence (Beta=.344, p=.000, SE=.052). 5. Behavioral cultural intelligence has no mediating effect on the relationship between openness to experience and subjective well-being. 6. Behavioral cultural intelligence and motivational cultural intelligence have no mediating effects of the relationship between the openness to experience and subjective well-being.

      Abstract: ABSTRACT The main content of this paper is to compile a Chinese textbook template suitable for the first grade students of Chiang Rai primary school in Thailand. In order to make the content of the first grade Chinese textbook template meet the students' Chinese level, we should first focus on the needs of local Chinese teachers for textbooks according to the survey results. Considering the Chinese content of students, we should also refer to the 2008 basic curriculum outline of the Ministry of education of Thailand. In addition, in the process of designing and compiling the textbook, in order to make the Chinese textbook template for the first grade of primary school Chinese more convincing and targeted standards, this paper also uses the "five characteristics" principle of Liu Xun's textbook. Finally, experts are invited to evaluate the Chinese textbook template for the first grade of primary school, and then revise the Chinese textbook according to the experts' suggestions.   • The Study of Orthographic Awareness Development of Thai Students on
           Picto-Semantic Characters: A Case Study of Associative Characters

      Abstract: This study aims to investigate the orthographic awareness development of Thai students on picto-semantic characters, and the associative characters were used as the representative of picto-semantic characters. The result shows that elementary and intermediate students used both bottom-up and top- down model in learning high frequency associative characters, but both levels of students more rely on bottom-up model in learning low frequency associative characters. Moreover, the result shows that the formation components are more beneficial for elementary students in learning low frequency associative characters. However, for intermediate students, both formation and non-formation components have the same effect on their learnings. It can be concluded that Thai students have a certain degree of knowledge about formation and non-formation components since the beginning of their Chinese character learnings. Moreover, students also can use the ideographic features of each kind of components to access to the meanings of associative characters, especially in low frequency associative characters, the ideographic features of formation components seem to be more beneficial for the elementary students.

  • Research on the online Chinese learning satisfaction and influencing
           factors of Chinese major in Thai University

      Abstract: This paper aims to study on Thai undergraduate students’ online learning satisfaction and analysis of the influencing factors. A total of 315 Thai undergraduate students with Chinese Major participated the questionnaire and interview on their online learning satisfaction and influencing factors. SPSS26.0 was used for statistical data analysis. Descriptive statistics analysis find that the overall satisfaction is average, the average value is 3.48. Independent-samples T Test and One-way ANOVA analysis showed that Thai undergraduate students of attributes, online learning experience, study time, and online learning environment, do significantly impact their online learning. But major, grade and network condition does not. Combined with teacher’ interviews, suggestions are following: 1. Build a stable ecosystem of online learning environment. 2. Create a high-viscosity online learning task chain. 3. Strengthen skills training and improve teachers' information technology literacy. 4. Pay attention to after-class extension and explore the online and offline blended learning mode.

      Abstract: According to the Chinese cultural classification standard, the Chinese titles in the New HSK5000 Word Classification Dictionary were classified and made into an examination paper to investigate the junior students in Chinese major of Royal College of Humanities University of Chiang Rai, Thailand, and the bias of Thai students using Chinese appellation.The results show that most Thai students' cognition of Chinese appellation is still in the class reading stage, and the reasons of biased use include: complicated Chinese appellation system; Thai culture and environment differences are affected by negative migration of Thai; text materials limit classroom teaching, and poor learning methods and cognition.Therefore, this paper provides feasibility reference suggestions to Thai Chinese teachers and students respectively for the problem of bias.Teacher suggestions include: textbook content selection, hierarchical teaching, entertainment and mixed teaching; student suggestions include: find suitable learning methods, establish a correct learning concept, accumulate experience in practice, and hope to help Thai students with a deep understanding of the cultural connotation of Chinese appellation.   • The Study of the State of the Chinese Kindergarten Curriculum Case Study:
           Chinese Kindergarten Course Book 1a-3b

      Abstract: The aim of this paper is to study the congruency of the vocabulary system and ordering of chapter for Chinese kindergarten class written by Thai author with key indicator and Chinese learning content according to the Basic Education Core Curriculum, 2008, at the first-grade level. A comparative study and analysis of an early childhood Chinese language textbook published by Thongkasem Publishing in 2017, totaling 6 volumes, by analyzing vocabulary, number of words, vocabulary content, vocabulary type, and chapter order. As a result, from these analyses, we found that it can be applied for further study in grade 1 following criteria Basic Education Core Curriculum 2008 for grade 1. Nevertheless, the researcher still found some issues in the curriculum and there are some issues that are not in accordance with the indicators of the grade 1, substance 1: Standard 1.2, item 1. The number of words is too much for the elementary level. In terms of lexical types, no adverbs, prepositions, and conjunctions were found. In terms chapter order, no personal information was found. Accordingly, we could use the research results to develop teaching documents which is beneficial to the management of Chinese language teaching at the early level.

  • A Contrastive Analysis of Noun Components Modified by "One + Classifier"
           and Its Pedagogical Applications in Modern Chinese and Thai

      Abstract: ABSTRACT            Chinese and Thai are classifier languages. A distinctive feature of  “numeral+classifier structure” is the use of numeral-classifier phrases evident in both languages. Of the several similarities and differences, the role of definite and non-definite principles, is highly significant. In Chinese, the grammatical meaning of the numeral "one" is also related to the principle of definite and non-definite. Thai numeral "one" can be placed in front of the classifier by the "one+classifier" structure and can be placed after the classifier by the "classifier+one" structure. However, these two structures have different expressive meanings and usages obtained through speech. Based on the definite and non-definite principles, this paper compares the semantics, syntactic and textual functions of Chinese and Thai's "one+classifier" structure. Moreover, this paper discusses how the Chinese learners (Thai students) use the Chinese "one+classifier" structure and the difference between "one+classifier" and "classifier+one" in Thai. Furthermore, it has tested whether the learners are influenced transfer by their mother-tongue languages and have errors in use, analyzes the sources of errors, and makes teaching recommendations based on the study results.   • A Study on the Utilization of Smartphone Applications for Enhancing
           Language Development and Promoting Chinese Language Learning

      Abstract: Education in the New Normal era due to the COVID-19 situation requires adjustment. Applications are therefore necessary to assist not only the development of media or innovation in teaching and learning, but also the organization of work systems in various fields such as documents.             The objectives of this research were to study (1) the utilization of smartphone applications that enhanced learning skills development and promoted Chinese language learning and (2) the satisfaction of users of applications, namely Tiktok, Facebook, Youtube and Instagram to develop skills and promote learning Chinese.             This is a quantitative research study. The research data were collected from an online questionnaire (Google Forms), in which the sample group consisted of 105 learners who were taking Chinese. This research found that Youtube was used the most to enhance Chinese language learning and the four  language skills, namely listening, speaking, reading and writing, and learning Chinese conversations. Besides, Facebook was the most used application to learn Chinese vocabulary, and Chinese vocabulary topics, basic Chinese conversation or vocabulary. Basic conversation in daily life was the topic which was learned through the use of Tik Tok, Facebook, Youtube and Instagram applications. It was because they conveyed short, concise, easy, up-to-date and practical messages. Moreover, the research revealed that learners of Chinese were satisfied at a high level at the average of 4.32 with the use of Tik Tok, Facebook, Youtube and Instagram on smartphones. It was because these applications helped to develop and enhance learners’ Chinese language skills. The findings were also in line with the hypothesis of this research. It was believed that these applications on smartphones could help learners to improve their Chinese language in four skills and enhance their Chinese language learning outside the classroom. Tik Tok, Facebook, Youtube and Instagram also met the interests of Chinese language learners who learned on their own or outside the classroom. In addition, teachers, students and people who interested in learning Chinese can choose the application that is suitable for develop each skill.

  • A Study of the Phonological Characteristics of Cantonese in Thailand

      Abstract: This research is study of the phonological characteristics of the Cantonese dialects, “Sam Yap” accent in Thailand. To study the changes of the Cantonese language in Thailand, by comparison with the Guangzhou Dialect which is considered the standard Cantonese in China. And a comparative study of the phonological characteristics of Cantonese in Thailand and Thai language for the benefit of teaching. This study used data from the 1000 – word Chinese survey document and the consonant, vowel, tone survey document. By bringing the survey document to collect field data from 7 informants from the North, the South, the Central region, 2 from each region, and 1 from the Northeast in Thailand.      The result found that the phonological characteristics of the Cantonese dialects, “Sam Yap” accent in Thailand consists of 18 consonant phonemes, 80 vowel phonemes and 9 tone phonemes. In addition, 2 vowel phonemes were also found to changed their vowel form from “œn” and “œt” to “on” and "ot”, respectively. As for the 4th (13) tone, tendency to change to the 5th (33) tone. However there were still some words that informants retained the original tone. For a comparative study of the phonological characteristics of Cantonese in Thailand and Thai language, it was found that there were 14 vowel phonemes and 2 tone phonemes that did not exist in the Thai phonetic system. This is one of the many reasons that affect teaching and learning between the 2 languages. Therefore, to fully understand the phonological characteristics of any language, will lead to the transfer of correct knowledge to develop teaching and learning management to be more effective.

  • Jia Tan-Chun: A Female Reformer beneath the Patriarchal Society in the
           Dream of the Red Chamber

      Abstract: This research aims to analyze Jai Tan-Chun’s(贾探春) behaviors on her notion of          a family reform under the depressive circumstances caused by her family and a patriarchy system in the Dream of the Red Chamber’s society. This qualitative documentary research employed the notions of liberal feminism, radical feminism and patriarchy as conceptual frameworks. The data from the literary text, dialogues and the narrations describing Jai Tan-Chun’s characteristics, perspectives and actions were collected with the extent to focus on various aspects of the reform such as economy, stability, management and leadership. The characters’ attitudes toward Jai Tan-Chun’s actions was also emphasized. The results showed that the readers had opportunity to see Jai Tan-Chun as an exceptional planner and leader, during the time that she led the Jia family. She had an insightful understanding of the situation that the family was encountering, and this wisely reflected the massive decaying of a feudalism society. She was also the mastermind who could persuade the important figures of the family to assemble in the Poet Gathering event. Lastly, she could establish the image of a woman who held the great level of leadership. Unfortunately, with a patriarchy feudalism system that dominated over the Jias, Jai Tan-Chun could not flee from the fact that her value was pre-determined by a man-that was her father- as a tool to merely maintain the relationship of power through marriage with other elite families. This highlights how the abilities of women living in this type of social system, is neither being acknowledged nor appreciated from men in the family. This is the reason why the wise and capable woman as Jai Tan-Chun would certainly have the miserable fate, with no right to fight for the gender equality for herself.

      Abstract: This paper investigated the meaning origin of the diachronic substitution words "MU" and "SHU" in detail from the perspective of the development and adjustment of linguistic system based on the previous studies. On the basis of combing the semantic system of "MU" and "SHU" as well as exploring the extended ways and reasons for the development and evolution of the meaning involved. This paper described the diachronic process of their mutual substitution and the possible reasons for their substitution. It is believed that the trend of substitution should first appear in the cooperated structure of "SHU" and "MU", which is premised on the emergence of the noun meaning of "SHU". Verb meaning "SHU MU" and noun meaning "SHU MU", one is verb object structure and the other is combined structure; The semantic expression is totally different, but they have coexisted in language for a period of time. After the emergence of the noun meaning of "SHU", it continues to expand in function. The most important thing is the emergence of "X+SHU" format. When the noun meaning of "SHU" takes over the role of "MU", more and more " X+SHU " are generated. This paper agrees that "SHU" has replaced "MU" in spoken language at the latest between Xi Han and Dong Han Dynasty, and basically replaced "MU" in written language in the Wei, Jin and the Nan Bei dynasties. The reason for its replacement is the result of the adjustment of lexical semantic system and the separate responsibilities in the various language forms of style. The adjustment of lexical semantic system is that "MU" mainly takes a series of meanings related to "MU BEN", while "SHU" mainly takes the original meaning of trees. As a general name of trees, it was classified all the kinds of trees into the different proper names. The separate responsibilities of language form is that "MU" mainly plays a role as a morpheme, which has strong productivity as well as forms a large number of compound words with written language; As a general term, "SHU" maintains a monosyllabic form and has a high frequency of oral use; As a disyllable proper name, "X+SHU" has a strong stylistic standard.

  • A study on the acquisition errors of "Bi" sentence by Thai

      Abstract: The process of foreign students mastering Chinese grammar is a process of continuous learning, making mistakes and correcting errors, in which there are bound to be various errors. Comparative sentence research has always been one of the hot spots in Chinese research, and "Bi" sentence, as one of the first grammatical points for second language learners, plays a particularly important role. Although many grammars in Chinese and Thai are the same, Thai learners also make many errors when learning "Bi" sentence. This paper mainly analyzes the acquisition of "Bi" sentence of Thai students, and tries to provide relevant learning strategies for Thai students to learn "Bi" sentence.       Abstract: The Curriculum Evaluation on Bachelor of Arts (Business Chinese) aimed to Revised Curriculum Academic Year 2017 aimed to 1) analyze curriculum and quality of curriculum implementation in term of the contexts: the objective, structure, and content of the curriculum, 2) evaluate the input: lecturers, students, and learning support, 3) evaluate the process of the curriculum administration and teaching & learning management including teaching and learning activities, assessment & evaluation of learning, 4) evaluate the outcome: quality of the graduated students. The population of the curriculum evaluation on Bachelor of Arts Program: Business Chinese revised curriculum, year 2017 consists the 10 of the curriculum Instructors Information and the lecturers in Bachelor of Arts Program: Business Chinese, 41 graduated students of the program in academic year 2019, 41 existing students with normal status, and 40 graduated students’ employers.       The satisfaction evaluation result of employers divided into 6 areas: ethics and morals, knowledge, cognitive skills, interpersonal skills and responsibility, numerical analysis, communication, and Information technology skills (ICT), and professional skills. In overall the statistics of the employers was at the highest level. The outstanding characteristics of the graduates were volunteer, willingness to work, seeking new knowledge in Business Chinese, knowledgeable of Business Chinese, gentle, diligent, and seek career advancement. There is some skill that the graduated students should be improved are computer skills, increase more knowledge of Chinese for careers and improve more about the computer programs due to the pandemic Covid-19 situation such as Microsoft Teams, ZOOM, Google Meet, Webex, etc.
      The satisfaction evaluation result of the graduated students towards teaching management in the curriculum consists of Major Required Courses and Elective Subjects has the highest overall average and the opinions on teaching and learning management in General subjects was highest level which there are the recommendation to revise the contents to be more modern and should add courses that focus on each career field for more appropriate on teaching and learning. The faculty should set a program to enhance the knowledge and working skills for students. The curriculum should add more subjects which learner is able to use in their working life, such as Chinese in the office, be more focus on the Education Cooperative and to comply with working the curriculum should have more modern subjects such as Digital Economics. Some subject as General Education subjects (English) and Minor subjects should be eliminated for efficiency of studying in Business Chinese subjects.
      The satisfaction evaluation result of lecturers towards the teaching and learning management of the curriculum was at the highest-level overall average which there are the opinions to revise some content in some subject to be more modern, some the subject should be shorten for the appropriateness of teaching and learning. The subjects about the business should be added for preparing the labors to support the trading market in this presents. The Economic courses should be added that are suitable for the current era, such as Digital Economy.
      The satisfaction evaluation result of students towards the teaching and learning management of the curriculum consists of Major Required Courses and Elective Subjects was at the highest-level overall average and has the opinion for the teaching and learning management of the General Education subjects in high-level and has the opinion that some subject such as Minor subject and General Education subject (English) should be shorten for the appropriateness of teaching and learning. The Professional courses should be added.

      Abstract:                                                                                                      ABSTRACT           Both China and Thailand are etiquette-oriented countries with a fine tradition of courtesy. Since the joint construction of “The Belt and Road” East Asian route, the two sides have enjoyed mutual benefit and connectivity. Friendly exchanges between the two peoples have increased. Honorific and Self-depreciatory expressions have been frequently used. Being familiar with the honorific and self-depreciatory language systems of Chinese and Thai and the details of the differences between them can effectively facilitate cross-cultural communication. The pragmatic principles of the system are basically the same, and the appropriate honorifics are selected according to dynamic contexts. However, due to different political, historical and cultural backgrounds of the two sides, the social hierarchy of Thailand is clear, and there are obvious differences between Chinese and Thai honorific and self-depreciatory language systems, mainly reflected in the two aspects of macrocosm and microcosm. The macroscopic difference includes the constructive way and the classification standard, the microscopic difference locks the concrete category—Appellation honorific and self-depreciatory language, modal particles and auxiliary verbs, verbal honorific and self-depreciatory language. Different from Chinese, modal particles and auxiliary verbs are typical special categories in Thai honorific and self-depreciatory language system, in which the former, the status modal particle is mainly used to perform the function of respect and modesty, which is placed at the end of the sentence and is different between males and females.   Key words: The Belt and Road, honorific and self-depreciatory language, dynamic context, culture

  • The Evaluation of Chinese Language and Culture Major Curriculum (Revised
           Edition 2012): Bachelor’s Degree Program, Huachiew Chalermprakiet

      Abstract: ABSTRACT           The purpose of this study was to evaluate the Chinese Language and Culture Major Curriculum (Revised Edition, Academic Year 2017). The evaluation focused on 4 aspects including the objectives of the curriculum, the structure and content of the curriculum, the curriculum management, and the characteristics of the graduates. There were 128 participants in this study;  5 instructors, 114 students in the third-year and fourth-year groups, 7 graduates, and 2 employers. Data Analysis was based on questionnaires. The data was analyzed in terms of frequency, percentage, and the differences of mean groups. The results of this research were as follows;           Input: This section was divided into 3 parts;
      Qualification of the program instructors It was found that the instructors were satisfied with the qualifications and experience of the program instructors which was rated with the highest average scores. The students were satisfied with this aspect which was rated with the high average scores. The graduates were satisfied with the instructors’ qualifications  and the courses they were assigned to teach which were rated with the highest average scores.
      Characteristics of the students All of the instructors took part in the admission process to interview the new students of the program.
      Educational equipment The instructors were satisfied with the well-equipped classrooms which were rated with the high average scores. The students and graduates were satisfied with HCU Library Information Section which was rated with the highest average scores. Process: This section was divided into 3 parts.
      Curriculum Management The students and the graduates were satisfied with the curriculum management which was rated with the high and the highest average scores respectively.
      Teaching and Learning Process The instructors and students were satisfied with the teaching and learning process. Furthermore, the instructors and students were satisfied with the use of teaching materials with the teaching and learning process which was rated with the highest average scores.
      Evaluation Methods The instructors and students were satisfied with the evaluation methods which were precise and systematic and were rated with the high average scores and the highest average scores. Learning Outcome Standards           1) The Characteristics of the Graduates The instructors and students were satisfied with the language skills in terms of the use of language, speaking, listening, reading and writing skills which was rated with the moderate average scores, whereas the graduates were satisfied with their language skills and the employers were also satisfied with the graduates’ language skills which were rated with the highest average scores. 2) The characteristics of the Graduates in accordance with Thailand qualification Framework (TQF) The employers were satisfied with the five aspects of learning outcome standards.

  • Teaching Design of Elementary Chinese Comprehensive Course in Thailand

      Abstract:         In recent years, chunk teaching has been gradually applied to international Chinese language teaching, and a series of research results have been achieved. Based on the primary stage of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Thailand, relying on the comprehensive Chinese curriculum, this paper discusses the practical application of chunk teaching in elementary Chinese comprehensive course under the guidance of chunk teaching theory. According to teaching practice, this paper divides Chinese chunks into fixed chunks. frame chunks and collocation chunks, listed the three types of Chinese chunks in Developing Chinese Elementary Comprehensive Course II, and give the specific teaching advices of Chinese chunk in the teaching design of the first lesson Do as the Romans Do.

  • Research on cultural teaching and cultural transmission of the Confucius

      Abstract:       Cultural teaching in international Chinese teaching is of extremely important significance. Traditional cultural teaching and dissemination forms include cultural exhibitions, cultural lectures, cultural camps, and training in China. The role and advantages of multimedia teaching, especially the advantages of network multimedia appear to be particularly prominent.       Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to clarify the training mode and practical problems faced by Thai translation talents in Chinese colleges and universities, to provide a reference for students to choose a Thai major after the college entrance examination, to provide materials for colleges and universities to improve the construction of Thai majors, and to provide choices for companies that need to hire Thai translators. The paper is mainly based on the interview method, supplemented by the literature research method, and explains the real situation through data analysis. The survey results are as follows: the number and geographical focus of colleges and universities offering Thai language majors are in southwestern China; the majors were established after 2000; the source of Thai language students is particularly unbalanced, mainly concentrated in the southwest; the current mainstream training model is 3+1 or 2+2, but the model of "language + major/skill" is the most respected; students report that Thai is the most difficult to translate, followed by phonetics, words and grammar, and there is an urgent shortage of Thai context; university libraries generally have outdated materials, and Thai reading materials Scarcity; the teaching team is relatively young and the number of teachers is not high; the employment situation in the north is better than that in the south, and the employment pressure in the south is huge; machine translation cannot replace human translation at present. When recruiting Thai translation talents, it is necessary to take into account the tendencies cultivated in the north and south of China.
