    • Authors: Amir Amir, Muh. Nur Rochim Maksum
      Pages: 94 - 110
Abstract: One of the typologies of modern humans is their attitude of being too proud of science and rationality in dealing with problems. In the spiritual aspect, modern society is always lulled in situations of indulgence, freedom and even secular tendencies that erase the vision of divinity. As a result, modern humans are often stressed, anxious, and not confident. In such conditions, a concept of peace of mind is needed in the midst of spiritual aridity. The focus of this research is how is Hamka's conception of Sufism' and how is its relevance to the problems of modern man' The type of research is library research, supported by a hermeneutic approach, using interpretive descriptive texts or manuscripts of Hamka's Sufism and his other books. The main step of data analysis in this study begins with an inventory of Hamka's Modern Sufism, then it is interpreted objectively and described descriptively and drawn some conclusions deductively by referring to the problems that have been formulated. Based on the focus of the problem in this study, it can be concluded that the concept of Hamka's Sufism is Sufism that is based on real and realistic scientific principles and interpretation of the verses of the Qur'an and is very relevant to today's world spirituality, where zuhud does not have to leave the world while remaining dynamic. achieve personal and social happiness to realize an enlightening and progressive Islam.

  • KESADARAN DAN SIKAP WARGA MUHAMMADIYAH PAKEM SLEMAN TERHADAP TANGGAP
BENCANA; TINJAUAN BUKU FIQIH KEBENCANAAN MUHAMMADIYAH”

    • Authors: Mohamad Muhajir, Yayat Hidayat
      Pages: 111 - 125
Abstract: This study aims to reveal and analyze how the awareness and attitudes of residents, especially Muhammadiyah members of Pakem Sleman DIY, towards the disaster response of the Merapi eruption, in terms of the Fiqh of Disaster book which has been ratified and published by Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah through an official decision to be tagged as the Result of National Conference Tarjih on Fiqh of Disaster. The results of this study are expected to be useful and contribute both practically and theoretically. The practical benefit of this research is that it is hoped that it will be able to provide effective and solutive guidelines for the implementation of worship during the eruption of Mount Merapi, but still based on argumentative arguments and the principles and objectives of Islamic law, one of which is the protection of religion (Hifz ad-Dīn) and guarding the human soul (Hifz an-Nafs). Meanwhile, the theoretical benefit that is expected from this research is to broaden the treasures and discourse of understanding on disaster management according to Muhammadiyah, so that regardless of the circumstances and events that occur in a disaster setting, especially the Mount Merapi Eruption disaster, this guide can be present among Muhammadiyah Pakem Sleman residents to provide assistance. and real solutions in every disaster problem, especially providing a comprehensive understanding of how to respond to disaster phenomena and how to carry out practical procedures for carrying out worship (mahdhah). There are two types of research in this study, namely field research using a qualitative approach and is descriptive in nature. The location of this research is in Pakem District, D.I. Yogyakarta, the subjects of this study were all members of the Muhammadiyah Association consisting of Organization Leaders, Council Leaders, Muhammadiyah Charity Business Leaders whose number was limited based on characteristics. Data were collected by observation, interviews and documentation then analyzed. The second type of research is qualitative by focusing on library research which is analytically descriptive in nature based on the study of the text of the Muhammadiyah Fiqh of Disasters book. The materials contained in the book are basic philosophical understandings about disaster, including practical religious principles according to Muhammadiyah in an emergency situation of a catastrophic disaster, such as the validity of praying in a state of uncleanness and uncovered genitals, or regarding the time limit for multiple prayers during a disaster. understood as a form of difficulty (masyaqqah) and narrowness (haraj). Disaster Jurisprudence understands two general principles: convenience (taysir) and changes in law according to changing situations (tagayyur al-ahkam bi tagayyur al-azminah wa al-amkinah). Islam does not burden beyond human ability.

  • PENDIDIKAN PERDAMAIAN TRANSFORMATIF: ANALISIS PSIKOANALISIS ATAS BIOGRAFI
           MAULANA WAHIDUDDIN KHAN

    • Authors: Zaenal Abidin, Muhammad Taufik Muhammad Taufik Ismail
      Pages: 126 - 147
Abstract: One of the problems of religious education in the post truth era is how religion is internalized as well as actualized, so that the character that is formed is a divine character. This is a classic problem, religion apart from coming as a savior, liberator, is also often misinterpreted as a different command to fight and destroy. India is an example of a country with high vulnerability to religious conflict. But in the midst of the complexity of the conflict, a figure for peace emerged, Maulana Wahiduddin Khan. Khan's peaceful personality did not emerge from a vacuum, there was a long process in its formation. By reflecting on Khan's way of life, it is hoped that he will be able to take values to contribute to peace education, especially building divine character. With the analytical knife of Lacan's psychoanalysis, this study attempts to portray how a peaceful person is transformed. The results of the study show that Khan underwent two transformations, first, the Ad-Dhuha moment, as a sign of leaving agnostic, towards full faith. Second, leaving Jemaah Islamiah, Jamaah Tabligh, to build their own movement. Khan's transformation process did not go smoothly, there was a struggle intrapsychologically, interpsychologically, to be able to achieve personal peace. An important aspect of the results of this study is how teachers are able to become transformative facilitators who help their students reach maturity in knowledge, spirituality, and divine character
