  • A Comparison Between Backpropagation, Holt-Winters, and Polynomial
           Regression Methods in Forecasting Dog Bites Cases in Bali

      Abstract: Rabies is a zoonotic disease that is usually transmitted to humans through animal bites. It can cause severe damage to the central nervous system and is generally fatal. Dog bite cases are considered the leading cause of rabies transmission in Bali. The government's preventive action is expected to reduce the problem of increasing the number of dog bite cases so that it does not spread quickly and cause casualties. Data mining is an attempt to extract knowledge from a set of data. The use of data mining in this study is to forecast the number of dog bite cases in Bali. Forecasting predicts what will happen in the future based on relevant data in the past and placing it in a mathematical model. Data mining methods used in forecasting dog bite cases are backpropagation, holt-winters, polynomial regression methods. This forecasting aims to help the government predict dog bite cases in the coming period to prepare appropriate countermeasures. Forecasting is done using data on bite cases every month in Bali province for five years, from 2015 to 2019. Dog bite case data is divided into four datasets for each attribute, namely data on the number of dog bite cases, the number of vaccinations, the number of male deaths, the number of female deaths. The four datasets are divided into training data and testing data to share 80% training data and 20% testing data. The results obtained are that the backpropagation method is better at predicting dog bite case data with an average MAPE error rate of 11.59%, while the holt-winters method has an average MAPE error rate of 16.05%, and the polynomial regression method has an average MAPE error rate of 19.91%

  • Reengineering of Manufacturing Business Process Utilising the
           Manufacturing Module of an ERP Application

      Abstract: The significant change in the consumption pattern of Indonesia’s modernising society––further intensified by the Indonesian Government’s plan to push towards the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, has fostered the need for manufacturing companies to create newly automated processes and make the transition to become a digitalised business entity. Enterprise Resource Planning is a software that enables the creation of integration and automation of business processes between various departments within a company, thus creating an effective business strategy. The data that has been acquired from research at a poultry processing company are then being mapped into the ERP software of Odoo V12.0, therefore creating new sets of re-engineered business processes. There are seven newly proposed reengineering business processes––in which only concentrate on the production and technical department within the particular company, by utilising the manufacturing and maintenance modules. The re-engineered business processes are assessed using the Technology Acceptance Model theory, to measure its usability and practicality, which generates the score of Likert’s interpretation above the accepted standard of 1340 and 1227, for both the manufacturing and maintenance modules respectively.

  • Implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning at CV. Dewi Bulan

      Abstract: Abstract Nowadays, the development of information technology is very fast, which allows many companies to receive the latest information technology to support the smooth running of the company's business. CV. Dewi Bulan is a small and medium enterprise (UKM) that produces incense stick. The problems that faced by CV. Dewi Bulan is an inefficient business process, its business activities are still manually recorded, documents related to the sale, production and purchase of raw materials are still handwritten on a form in the company and the bookkeeping is done once a month. These documents cannot be accessed in real-time. This problem causes delays in processing of customer orders. The solution to overcome this problem above is to implement Enterprise Resource Planning, where in practice, ERP can automate business practices and company business procedures. ERP implementation uses a technology that is using Odoo version 11.0. This research method consists of six stages of the research process, they are literature study, data collection, data processing, application modeling, system testing and implementation, also conclusions and suggestions as well. After implementing Odoo on CV. Dewi Bulan, next is to conduct a survey with the UAT questionnaire and a Likert scale to assess the satisfaction level of Odoo application users. The results of the questionnaire were dominated by the assessment of "Satisfied", this indicate that the business improvement process is made were acceptable and applied in CV.   • Geographic System for Mapping and Complaints of Damaged Roads

      Abstract: Indonesia is a massive archipelago of 1.919.400 km², containing roads that span at 542.000 km across various terrain conditions. This diverse geographic environment is a challenge to road constructions and repairs across the country, which has lead to disruption in public service and traffic accidents each year. We propose the Geographic Information System for Mapping and Complaint of Damaged Roads, a solution which can provide users a digital interface to report damaged roads to the transportation department in their area. This research uses Google Maps API to digitize and make a complaint about damaged roads. The result of this research is an Android application for the users to make complaints of damaged roads, along with a web application used by road manager to draw the road on Google Maps using polyline feature. With this our goal is to systematize the handling of damaged roads information, leading to faster service times and hopefully help reduce the level of traffic accidents in Indonesia.

  • Information Security Risk Strategy at PT. X Using NIST SP 800-30

      Abstract: Information security is a vital aspect that must be considered in use of information technology devices by active users. PT. X runs a business that applies information technology related to distribution aspects through company resource planning. Information technology formed assets IT infrastructure, information systems, operating procedures, and network infrastructure. This asset has a potential threat that causes disruption resulting losses. This problem arises to cope with the response to the risk strategy. NIST SP 800-30 method has a flexible risk perspective for the organization and federation standards of American security. Research is divided into risk measurement as a risk, risk mitigation as risk planning, and risk evaluation embodied risk reports. Results of the research show the value of risk through the calculation of the likelihood and impact matrix of the highest threat is at a low level is 14, medium at 12, and high of 4 are categorized good enough.

      Abstract: Biometric recognition systems or human identification are very important in security access for identification and verification systems. The biometric recognition system can be used as an identification system based on the characteristics possessed by the body part of each individual. The soles of the feet can be used for identification because the soles of the feet have certain and unique characteristics which include major lines, protrusions, small dots, single points, and textures. The introduction of biometrics in babies is still conventional, which is a standard operating procedure such as attaching bracelets on baby's feet and imprinting or inking on the soles of baby's feet which are affixed to paper and are very vulnerable to the risk of damage or loss of data, there is a need for a system that can store data automatically digital and able to do the baby identification process. The Principal Component Analysis method is used for the extraction process of the characteristics of the baby's feet. The classification uses the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) method with the euclidean distance approach. Tests were carried using 120 images of baby feet, there are 20 classes, each class contains 3 images of the right foot and 3 images of the foot of the left foot, and a dataset of 280 training images. The highest accuracy result obtained in system testing is 91% with a computation time of 5.63 seconds using the Principal Component Analysis method with the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) classification.   Keywords: Footprint, Feature Extraction, Principal Component Analysis, K-Nearest Neighbor.

  • Reengineering Business Process Manufacturing Company Sales Module Using
           Odoo V12.0 Application

      Abstract: Manufacturing industry implements the usage of Enterprise Resource Planning as an intergraded information system to run the company business process in order to make a good communication and increase the service quality. It is related to this research which carried a research about Business Process Reengineering on chicken slaughterhouse company using Odoo V12.0 software. The only part which was focused in this research is sales. The business process that was currently running in the sales department was product purchase process. The writing of sales order document and invoice was still done manually. The reengineering consists of product selling process, sales order process, payment process, as well as purchase process with and without production. The reengineering has been done quite well and also has received an agreement for the highest value in every aspect. The result of this research was found by using User Acceptance Test as a method to measure the function of Odoo application in doing reengineering. The test is divided into 5 items, which are content item of 63%, module item of 53%, multimedia element item of 88%, navigation aspect of 70% and usage item of 82%.
