  • Applying Deep Learning to Identify and Classify DGA Domains

      Abstract: The purpose of this work is to study methods for detecting malicious domains generated using DGA algorithms. To solve this problem, proposed to create a deep learning architecture based on the Tensorflow framework, and implement layers based on the Keras library. For training, testing and validation of the resulting architecture, data generated based on 25 known DGA generation algorithms and legitimate data obtained from Top Alexa were used. Using the data obtained, the proposed neural network architecture was compared with the known implementations of machine learning architectures according to the classification of DGA domains. The target metric by which the quality of the classification was compared was the f-measure with the parameter - the weight of accuracy in the metric (β) equal to 0.4, which made it possible to choose the model with the highest prediction accuracy. The results obtained confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed solution. The result of the work was the creation of an effective machine learning architecture used to classify malicious DGA domains.

  • Creating an interface for smart objects using the example of a smart
           swimming pool system

      Abstract: The development of smart objects involves solving a wide range of related tasks. One of these tasks is the development of the user interface. The purpose of this work is a consistent description of the process of developing the interface of a smart object using the example of the Smart Swimming Pool system. The basic principles of user interface development are determined, the scenario for using a web application is thought out, use-case and user-flow diagrams are built. Then development technologies are selected taking into account modern trends in frontend development and the workspace is set up. The results of choosing a technology stack, obtained by the authors, are presented in the form of a table of interface implementation tools. After that, the features of working with the React library are described, such as the ability to create your own or use built-in components, the ability to set up dynamic routing, the ability to use the current state of elements, and handling events using the useState and useEffect hooks. Code examples are provided to demonstrate all of these features.

  • The problem of developing VR assembly / disassembly simulators, and a
           variant of a high-performance solution based on VR Concept technology

      Abstract: Virtual reality technology today can be successfully used not only in the entertainment industry, where it is already firmly entrenched, but also for training personnel in various fields of human activity. The development of innovative technologies will allow Russia to take a leading position in technology and production. The widespread introduction of virtual simulators in personnel training can make training more efficient, and production more economical, more productive and more accurate. The article considers the technology for developing virtual simulators for the assembly and disassembly of industrial equipment, reviews the methods of personnel training in terms of maximum efficiency and virtual environments and ways to create VR simulators, their advantages and limitations. The article proposes a technology for creating simulators using the VR Concept platform, which allows you to speed up the development process due to the presence of pre-implemented common modules. This technology is a step towards the development of conveyor production of virtual reality simulators, which will reduce the time, cost and difficulty of implementing virtual reality technology in production.

  • Network covert channels detection method for packet data transmission
           networks security increase

      Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to describe the developed method of detecting network covert timing channels, based on machine learning algorithms. Detection of network covert channels is an actual problem, since the latter can be used to leak confidential information. One of the approaches to its solution is the use of machine learning algorithms. In order to apply machine learning algorithms in solving the detection problem, the network traffic under study must be pre-processed. The article describes the developed detection method, where it is proposed to use distributed big data processing methods implemented in Apache Spark to process network traffic. As a machine learning algorithm in the detection method, it is proposed to use gradient boosting over decision trees. The paper describes the architecture of the system in which it is proposed to implement the process of detecting covert channels. The dependences of network traffic processing time on various system parameters are investigated. It is proposed to use new features to detect covert channels. According to the research results, it has been revealed that the proposed method makes it possible to effectively detect network covert channels, and its feature is the speed of detection - through the use of distributed data processing technologies, and increasing accuracy - by adding new features.

  • Anomaly detection with autoencoders

      Abstract: The purpose of this work is to reduce the cost of troubleshooting digital equipment by improving anomaly recognition methods based on the use of autoencoders. To do this, the authors propose to use two types of autoencoders: a deep feed-forward autoencoder and a deep convolutional autoencoder, and as a comparison, it is proposed to use two supervised machine learning methods: the logistic regression method and the support vector machine. The comparison confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed autoencoders. The NSL-KDD dataset was chosen for experiments with the algorithms. It includes more than 10,000 measurements and 41 parameters characterizing the network flow. This dataset contains both normal and abnormal network stream data. Before training machine learning algorithms and autoencoders, the current data set was pre-processed: correlation elimination, categorical data binarization, data grouping into attack categories. The results of using autoencoders developed by the authors to search for anomalies have shown the effectiveness.

  • The dynamic virtual visualization method for physical fields and radiation
           environment optimization by virtual reality interactive operation

      Abstract: The visualization of physical processes, support of nuclear facility safety, personnel training, and reduction of radiation dose rate are priority and essential goals in the nuclear field. The application of virtual reality can improve the analysis in the field of the prediction of the received dose load when working in the radiation contamination zone.  The quality and realism of the virtual environment, and most importantly, its safety affect immersiveness and susceptibility in the field of education, training, and these effects cannot be neglected. Further research should be conducted in two directions: the use of the developed method as a training simulator with the possibility of quantitative and qualitative assessment of the trainee's actions, as well as the possibility of full use of VR-technology for visualization of the spatial distribution of radiation power. The relevance of this work is confirmed by the growing interest from the industry, scientific and technological communities to the implementation of VR-technology in production processes in order to reduce the cost of training personnel or simulation processes. For the dynamic visualization of the physical fields as a virtual reality environment for the first time, the Russian software VR Concept, which allows to create and modify objects and their characteristics without additional programming or drawing of objects, which reduces the time costs of changing the conditions of the virtual experiment to a minimum.

  • Analysis and Development of Requirements for Remote Diagnostics of
           Distributed Ship Equipment Systems in the Arctic Zone

      Abstract: The relevance of the paper is determined by the need to improve the efficiency of operating spatially distributed engineering systems located in the harsh climatic conditions of the Arctic zone with a low density of qualified personnel and services. The proposed solution, implemented on the basis of the industrial Internet of Things, will increase the economic efficiency of ship operation in Arctic by reducing unplanned accidents and equipment downtime and simplifying the decision-making process on board. We describe the influence of natural and man-made factors of the Arctic zone on vessels in autonomous navigation, which determines the need for the development and implementation of a remote monitoring system, which principle of operation is as follows: monitoring data is collected from sensors located on equipment, sent to controllers for primary processing, then transmitted to Data Processing Centers (data centers) for analysis, then the data is sent to a Cloud platform in an Internet environment integrated with information systems and services, providing decision-making support on board. These systems and services are based on a data processing model using artificial intelligence technologies. We describe the stakeholders of the remote diagnostics system, their problems and goals. Particular attention is paid to the choice of a systems methodology, with the help of which a conceptual solution scheme and specification of requirements for the system as a whole and for its individual subsystems are developed.

  • Development of a prototype of a digital platform for the control and
           monitoring of technological processes of a biotechnical system

      Abstract: Over the past decades, aquaculture production in fish has grown rapidly in terms of production and economic productivity, and today it is a key supplier of seafood. In this paper, the production of heterogeneous fish populations at the company "PANINSKOE PLUS" is considered. The object of deep digital transformation is an operating high-intensity aquabiotechnological enterprise for the cultivation of fish products (karmut breed) in commodity volumes using closed water circulation technology. The subject of the study is automation of production processes. With an increase in production volumes, there is a need for automation, which reduces the required amount of resources per unit of production.The advantages of automation are technological, convenient control and management of work processes, which in turn helps to reduce the likelihood of human error and improve the quality of production. The scientific novelty consists in the development of the concept of automation of existing production with certain technological parameters for the cultivation of a specific type of fish and its implementation. The expected result of the work is a prototype of an information system that increases the efficiency of production of heterogeneous fish populations.

      Abstract: The study object is the management process of aquatic biological production in terms of modeling for commercial fish populations of the species Clarias gariepinus (African clarium catfish) development. The purpose of the work is to develop a digital model that provides forecasting and visualization of the fish population development indicators under the production factors influence. A mathematical core has been developed for vital processes modeling of the clary catfish population within the framework of aquabiological production. Ways to refine the model for its further use in the integrated system of the aquabiotechnological production digital twin based on the industrial Internet of Things are discussed. The scenario for the implementation of the model is a module for forecasting and visualizing indicators of the fish population development under the influence of various factors of production. The digital system introduction will optimize the aquabiotechnological production management, avoid conducting experiments to find effective parameters of the population's vital activity on live individuals, increase farm productivity by optimizing the fish populations life cycle.

  • Development a video analytics system for violations of industrial safety
           requirements at nuclear power plant construction area

      Abstract: A construction area is an object of an increased risk zone for everyone who is on it, therefore, the security measures imposed on this territory must be strictly observed. Often, the process of observing safety precautions is formal and consists in conducting periodic briefings and training of personnel, and the function of direct control, as a rule, is assigned to immediate superiors. Video analytics and image processing technologies help to minimize these costs and increase the level of security by early warning of possible violations in the work of people or machines. Video analytics is a constantly evolving field where new methods and algorithms are constantly being developed in areas such as semantic video categorization, video retrieval from a database, human action recognition, generalization and anomaly detection. The article is devoted to the development of requirements for the system and architecture of the building control information system as part of the conceptual model. The authors investigated the current state of the organization in terms of automation, analyzed the problem and possible solutions, developed requirements for system functions, described infrastructure requirements, and developed a solution prototype. The introduction of a video analytics system for violations of safety requirements will improve the efficiency of safety activities by reducing employee injuries in the course of work, as well as by improving labor discipline and safety culture.

  • The concept of a digital scanning system for equipment-saturated premises
           of reverse engineering at educational projects and startups

      Abstract: This article is the starting point in a series of works on the formation of low-budget functional tools for reverse engineering and building BIM models of existing engineering facilities based on methods of three-dimensional laser scanning from inside premises with a high degree of occupancy of equipment and engineering communications. The review of approaches to the reverse construction of information models of buildings using the survey of geometric parameters of the object with three-dimensional lidars based on digital processing of point clouds is carried out. A technical concept of a low-budget lidar measuring complex based on two-dimensional factory-ready lidars has been developed. Tasks have been set for the development of the components of the complex and its integration. The general architecture and the program of the R&D series are described. The physical and software architecture has been developed. The result of the first stage of the series - design, manufacture, and testing of a prototype of a three-dimensional laser scanning based on a two-dimensional lidar is described. The obtained point cloud was processed, and errors in its formation using the first version of the software were revealed. The identified problems, and their causes were discussed and the research and development program was adjusted.

  • Development of an authentication method for running Apache Spark tasks in
           the Apache Airflow

      Abstract: Today there is a significant increase in the number of payments made using plastic cards. Banking organizations are forced to analyze huge amounts of data in their work, and therefore software products for processing big data are being put into operation. Apache Spark is a popular tool for streaming and batch data processing. To analyze information, software is often used to run processes on a schedule. An example of such software is Apache Airflow. It is customary to represent the processes launched in Airflow in the form of a directed graph without cycles, while the vertices of the graph are tasks that are the implementation of a certain Airflow operator. The purpose of the article is to develop an Apache Airflow operator to run Spark tasks on a server other than the one on which Airflow operates. When developing such an operator, the task of authentication on a remote server arises. The article proposes a solution to the authentication problem by using access tokens provided by the Vault secret repository, as well as a web service of its own development, with the help of which the secrets and tokens stored in the Vault are managed. As a result of the work, a solution was obtained that allows you to run Spark tasks in Airflow on a remote server, while the secrets used for authentication are stored in Vault, which increases the security of the system.

      Abstract: The article analyzes trends and possible approaches to the formation of contract requirements in projects developed on the basis of information modeling technologies (BIM). In the course of the work, a description of the principles, approaches and forms of the contract on the basis of which it is possible to carry out the formation of verified contract conditions, as well as the tasks that need to be solved to achieve the goal, is presented. Collected and presented principles and approaches in the initiation, implementation of projects based on the BIM information model, as well as the subsequent consolidation of information, storage and management of data on the construction site. The necessary measures for the correct implementation of BIM-design in the enterprise are noted. The author presents key aspects in design and project management based on BIM design technologies, as well as the main trends in the use of BIM in international contract forms. The author also noted the main features and advantages of using innovative technologies in the design, construction and management of facilities. An analysis of current trends in the implementation and use of BIM modeling technologies in the current situation in the Russian Federation is presented. The article provides examples of international contracts, on the basis of which it is possible to carry out contracting.

      Abstract: The relevance of the study is due to the situation in the field of public administration of economic planning and development. There is a positive experience of state planning in the history of the country, although it has shortcomings, but it has been recognized as effective, on the other hand, the practice of implementing national projects over the past ten years has demonstrated mistakes in planning, forecasting and implementing economic development plans. The author, highlighting the positive and taking into account the negative aspects of Gosplan, the advantages of modern national projects, considers the possibility of combining historical and modern experience for the organization of strategic planning. The proposed Unified Coordination and Control Center for National Projects (ECCC NP) ensures the implementation of the principles of systematic and transparent collection and processing of information, planning taking into account the needs and specifics of the development of each region, forecasting risks and threats and taking timely measures to overcome them and reduce the negative impact on the implementation of plans. The proposed mechanism takes into account the factors of interaction of all planning participants, economic and administrative, and also creates conditions for continuous monitoring of the implementation of plans and the organization of control measures. An important point is made that the digitalization of state planning could have been implemented several decades ago.

  • Decision-making models and algorithms for managing a pipeline of capital
           construction projects

      Abstract: The object of research is the process of implementing a pipeline of investment and construction projects. The subject of the research are decision-making models and algorithms for managing a pipeline of capital construction projects. The purpose of the study is to improve the efficiency of the portfolio management process by developing and testing in practice a decision-making methodology for managing a pipeline of capital construction projects. A study of the problem of project and portfolio management in relation to the construction industry of the Russian Federation is being carried out, confirmed by official statistics; review of existing models and methods of decision-making in project management and portfolio management.A qualitative and mathematical description of the developed methodology and the general algorithm for its use, are presented and detailed by the description of the normalization algorithms of data regarding classifiers of key events and works, verification of compliance with the technological sequence of works, deadlines forecasting based on a simplified critical path method, calculation of project readiness based on the method of weight coefficients, aggregating performance data at the portfolio level.The results of the approbation of the developed methodology on the portfolio of the targeted investment program of the Sakhalin Region based on the existing software solution are presented. A qualitative and quantitative comparison of management processes in similar projects where the implementation of the methodology was not carried out is presented. In conclusion, the findings were drawn about the effectiveness of the methodology based on the results of its practical testing, and directions for further development and improvement of the methodology were identified.
