  • Problem-Based Learning Method Using Comic As A Medium Toward Students’
Learning Outcomes Of Economy Social Science in Uang dan Lembaga Keuangan

    • Authors: Taryadi Taryadi, Rusdarti Rusdarti
      Pages: 1 - 9
Abstract: Uang dan Lembaga Keuangan are materials of Economy Social Science subject which mostly use lecture and memorization in its learning process. This leads to students’ inability to develop their potential and makes students passive. Therefore, a learning method which can trigger students’ activeness is needed. One of the learning methods that can improve the quality of learning is Problem-Based Learning Method and the use of comic as a medium in learning. The objective of this study is to determine whether there are different activities and learning outcomes between the students who learn using a Problem-Based method and comic as the learning medium and the students who learn using a conventional method in class IX SMP Nasima Semarang. This research used Quasi-Experimental Design design with Nonequivalent Control Group Design form. The population in the study was 108 students of class IX of SMP Nasima Semarang with two sample classes, which were class IX-A and IX-C with 28 students in each class.Initial data of the research used the result of pretest which showed the average score of the experimental class was 70,95 while the average score of control class was 70,83. Based on the statistically processed data by using “t” test, the t-count was 2.441, while the value of t-table was 2,004. Therefore, it could be concluded that t count > ttable, then with this Ha was accepted while Ho was rejected. It showed that there were differences in students' learning outcomes between the experimental group and the control group after they were given different learning methods. The class which learned through problem-based learning method had better outcomes than the class which learned through a conventional method.

The subject of Financial Administration is one of the new subjects in Vocational High School Administration Expertise Program on the Basic Competencies of Computer Applications for Financial Administration. The application of a scientific approach is only included as one of the administrative requirements in the Lesson Plans. The purpose of this research is to know the application of scientific approach with 5M syntax (Observing, Asking, Collecting Information, Associating / Reasoning and Communicating) by describing the activity of each 5M syntax on Financial Administration Subjects Administration Program Administration Class XII SMK Negeri 9 Semarang Year Lesson 2017/2018. This research is a qualitative research.Data collection is done by observation, interview, and documentation. The results showed that in the learning activity deangan scientific approach by using 5M syntax is done well but in one meeting not all sync 5M activities, but the 5M syntax is divided into several meetings on core learning activities, because the learning in every meeting consists of opening activities, core and cover. Abstract: Consumption Behavior Consumptive students due to the knowledge of consumption and the lack of parental role in modeling and low family economic education in providing education about consumption of their children led to consumptive behavior. The formulation of this problem is whether there is influence of students' consumption knowledge, family's economic social status, family economic education on consumption behavior of high school students. The variables in this research are Knowledge of Student Consumption, Parents Social Economic Status, Family Economic Education, and Student Consumption Behavior. The method used is data analysis with data collection techniques Student population of SMA Negeri IPS Class XII. Sample of the research amounted to 191 respondents with sampling technique using Proportional Random Sampling. Methods of data collection using questionnaires. Data analysis with Linear Regression. The result of research there is influence of student's consumption knowledge, socio-economic status of family, and family economic education either partially or simultaneously. Based on t test, the influence of students' consumption knowledge on the partial consumption behavior of students obtained value of 7.239, the influence of socioeconomic status of parents to student consumption behavior 3.852 and the influence of family economic education on student consumption behavior of 1.686. Simultaneously influence of knowledge of student consumption, parent economic ststus, family economic education to student consumption behavior based on F test obtained value 30, 375.

  • Efficency Analysis of Rice Production and Farmers' Income in Sengah
           Temila District Landak Regency

    • Authors: Deo Leko Pudaka, Rusdarti Rusdarti, P. Eko Prasetyo
      Pages: 31 - 38
Abstract: The low production of rice in Sengah Temila District of Landak Regency makes farmers’ income low. The purpose of this research was to analyze production, efficiency (technical, price and economy) and farmer income. The approach used in this research was quantitative approach. The production analysis used Cobb-Douglas’s production function with multiple linear regressions. Technical efficiency analysis used frontier production function with Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA). Allocative efficiency analysis used comparative analysis of marginal product value and input price. Economic efficiency analysis used the combination of technical efficiency and allocative efficiency. The income analysis used the difference between revenue and cost. The results showed that the average production of rice in Sengah Temila District Landak Regency was quite good with production of 5.819 kg/ha. The factors that affect the production level significantly ware the land size, seeds, pesticides and labors while the fertilizer factor had no significant effect because of  quantity of fertilizer was less than needed. Land size was dominant factor that affect the production level. Technical efficiency was not yet efficient but it was nearly efficient with coefficient 0.96. Inefficiency of technical becuase of  quantity of fertilizer was less than needed and over capacity of land.  Based on allocative efficiency, the rice farming was far from efficient due to the high price of production factors, especially fertilizer and labor with coefficient 19.24. Economic efficiency was not efficient with coefficient of 18.38. Farmer’ income was Rp1,385,900.00 per household per month. Farmer' income was lower than the regional minimum wage (UMR) of Landak Regency in 2017 which was  Rp2,000,920.00.
