  • PENGARUH LAMA PERENDAMAN DENGAN PERASAN JERUK LEMON DAN GARAM DAPUR
           TERHADAP KADAR PROTEIN TAHU

      Abstract: PENGARUH LAMA PERENDAMAN DENGAN PERASAN JERUK LEMON DAN GARAM DAPUR TERHADAP KADAR PROTEIN TAHUIr. Nastiti Kartikorini, MKesProdi D3 Analis Kesehatan Unmuh Surabaya abstractTofu is one of the healthy foods because of the relatively high protein content. In know that stored at room temperature will only last for 1-2 days. Therefore, many sellers know who gives the formalin to preserve know. Whereas the use of formaldehyde is very harmful for health. One of the efforts to secure the preservation know that the provision of 10% lemon juice and salt to 4% who will preserve up to 6 days at room temperature. Just know that the old storage can cause denaturation of proteins which can result in decreased levels of protein out. This study aims to investigate the influence of soaking in lemon juice and salt to the protein content out. The protein content was obtained through laboratory know the Micro-Kjeldahl method. The sample was 8 were divided into 4 groups: control, know by soaking for 1 day, 3 days and 6 days. To determine the effect of soaking the protein content out statistical analysis used ANOVA and continued to LSD.
      The results of the data analysis ANOVA test showed that there was no effect of soaking time with the lemon juice and salt to the protein content of tofu (p values> 0.05). Average protein content know that soaked for 1 day 13.24%, 12.78% and 3 days 6 days 12.34%. So it can be concluded that aging out with lemon juice and salt has no effect on protein levels out. Therefore preservation know this way is relatively safe and does not reduce the levels of proteins out.Keyword : tofu, lemon, protein level

Among these products are the most widely used alcoholic beverage. During this siwalan juice as a beverage consumed fresh, the storage period is relatively short whice for 1-2 days. If after 3 days the beverage is consumed will have a negative impact, to reduce the alcohol content is then made warming. Based on the above background can be taken formulation of the problem "whether there was an effect on levels of alcohol prolonged heating on sap siwalan"'. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there was an effect on levels of alcohol prolonged heating on sap siwalan. This research is a kind of experimental research with the aim to determine the effect of prolonged heating of the alcohol content in the sap siwalan. The sampling technique used was random sampling, totaling 24 samples. Variable work was composed of independent variables and the dependent variable. Alcohol Examination conducted on sap siwalan by doing without heating or 0 minutes, 10 minutes, 20 minutes and 30 minutes, using a number of methods Pycnometer six replication. From these results a decrease in the average alcohol content of sap siwalan on any heating for 10 min, 20 min and 30 min, after using ANOVA statistical test obtained p = 0.000 (p <0.05) can be summed Ha Ho is rejected or accepted which means there is prolonged heating effect on levels of alcohol in the juice siwalan.Key word : Nira, Level of alcohol, prolonger heating

In contrast to the large hospital and clinical laboratories that have been developed have used the analyzer tool as an advanced tool that can check more parameters clinical examination which will get accurate results. To the authors want to prove whether there are differences in the results of blood glucose levels 2 hours pp using glucometer and analyzer. This research is experimental. The population in this study were patients with diabetes mellitus in hospital Throughout Siti Khadija. The samples used were serum and whole blood from the blood vena.Variabel free is the way 2-hour blood glucose tests using a glucometer and analyzer pp and the dependent variable is the blood glucose levels 2 hours pp. While the operational definition, examination of blood glucose 2 hours pp by using 2 kinds of tools, namely glucometer and analyzer. Methods of data collection of 20 samples taken from patients with DM in Hospital Khodijah Throughout Siti. To know the results used paired t test. The results showed that there were significant differences between the glucometer and glucose analyzer examination 2 hours pp based on the results of paired t test with sig value greater than 0.05 and the average levels of the glucometer 207.65 mg / dl and analyzer 193.85 mg / dl.

Protein cucumbers reach 82% of his body. However, the protein can undergo denaturation when heated. Formulation of the research problem is whether there was an effect on long boiling sea cucumbers (Holothuria argus) the protein content. The research objective was to determine whether there is a long effect on the boiling sea cucumbers (Holothuria argus) the protein content.This type of research is experimental. The study population was all kinds of sea cucumbers are caught by fishermen in Kel.Sukolilo Kec.Bulak Surabaya. The research sample is sea cucumber Holothuria argus species caught by fishermen in Kel.Sukolilo Kec.Bulak Surabaya. Research using the 5 treatments with 5 repetitions. Criteria longer boiling is P1 (0 min / control), P2 (15 min), P3 (30 minutes), P4 (45 minutes), and P5 (60 minutes).Data examined protein levels by means of laboratory tests. Based on the laboratory results obtained average amount of 16.948% protein content in boiling 0 minutes, 13.068% in 15 minutes, 11.986% at 30 minutes, 10.652% at 45 minutes, and 8.732% in boiling water 60 minutes.Test results are then tested the statistical ANOVA showed significant values where 0.000 <0.05 (α). It can be concluded that there is a long effect on the boiling sea cucumbers (Holothuria argus) the protein content.Keywords: Sea Cucumber & Protein Levels

Sugarcane contains octacosanol compounds that can lower cholesterol levels in the blood. Excessive cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia) a threat that is feared because as one of the causes of coronary heart disease (CHD) and stroke. The purpose of this study was to analyze the levels of cholesterol in mice, to analyze cholesterol levels in mice after the administration of sugar cane juice, to analyze the effect of sugar cane juice on cholesterol levels in mice. This type of research conducted by a group of experimental methods with populations of mice (Mus musculus) were obtained from farms Bojonegoro. The research sample selected by criteria mice aged 2-3 months, weighing between 20-40 grams of the male sex, the amount of sample used two groups of mice, each group consisted of 16 mice. From the results of blood cholesterol levels in mice after the administration of sugar cane juice, it is known that the average cholesterol level in the control group was 148.8750 mg / dl and value - average blood cholesterol treatment group was 118.2500 mg / dl. Statistically analyzed using a paired t test t value -3.799 obtained with significant value. (p) = 0.001 which is less than 0.05 then there is the effect (Ho is rejected) (t = -2.040 table). So we can conclude there is the effect of sugar cane juice on blood cholesterol levels in mice.Key word : Sugarcane, blood cholesterol levels

Based on the research background, the authors formulate the problem as follows: "Is there any effect of hemolysis on SGPT levels as one of the parameters of liver function'". The purpose of this study is to prove whether there is an influence of hemolysis on SGPT levels as one of the parameters of liver function. The sample was 20 samples and 20 samples of hemolysis hemolysis. Location and time of the research conducted at Muhammadiyah Hospital Clinical Laboratory Lamongan ie in January and July. Of the 20 samples analyzed, showing that levels higher than the hemolysis ALT SGPT levels no hemolysis. When the serum through lysis will experience a significant increase. To test the effect of hemolysis on SGPT levels paired t test was used because the data from this study with normally distributed. The results of a paired t test analysis between serum hemolysis and no hemolysis on levels of serum ALT levels showed a significant value 0.00 thus P <0.05 it can be concluded that there is no difference between the levels of ALT SGPT levels of hemolysis with hemolysis. Chemical constituents of the leaves starfruit are tannins, flavonoids, saponins. The active ingredient in the leaves starfruit is tannin. Escherichia coli is a bacterium that causes diarrhea. From the above discussion, the authors raised the theme of Influence starfruit juice of the leaves on the growth of pathogenic E. coli bacteria.
      Formulation of the problem researchers is whether there is influence starfruit juice of the leaves on the growth of Escherichia coli pathogens. This study aims to determine the concentration that could inhibit and kill Esherichia coli Escherichia coli. This research is experimental. The sample used is leaf green starfruit not so young in a fresh state taken in the area around the boarding author Sutorejo 11B stay. In this study, the sample size for each treatment as much as 3 100%, 90%, 80%, 70%, 60%, 50%, 40%, 30%, 20%, 10% and C (control). Independent variables are starfruit juice of the leaves, while the dependent variable growth of Escherichia coli. When the study carried out in January and July 2012. Data on the effect of starfruit juice of the leaves on the growth of Escherichia coli tested by laboratory examination and data collection techniques using Chi-Square 0:05. Based on the results it appears that at a concentration of 100% and 90% were able to kill the bacteria Escherichia coli, whereas the inhibitory power ranging from a concentration of 80%, 70%, 60%, 50%, 40%, 30%, 20%, 10%. From Chi-Square test was obtained λ2 count <of λ2 table. Eradication of cockroaches can be done physically and chemically, the use of chemical-based insecticides can cause respiratory problems. In an insecticide drug containing natural ingredients contain essential oils, the content of essential oil compounds serve as an anti-insect drug on citronella. This study aimed to determine the effect of essential oils of citronella fragrance to cockroaches. This type of research was experimental. The population in this study were cockroaches (Periplaneta americana) obtained from the houses of villagers of Tanjung, Sampang, Madura. The total sample was 32 adult stage cockroaches. Data analysis was using free T test with error rate of  5% or 0,05.The results showed that cockroaches stopped moving with an average of 15.75. Based on T test results showed the significant results of 0.00 which was smaller than 0.05 then H0 was rejected Ha was accepted. Namun, pengaruh gaya hidup serta maraknya cafe atau restoran yang mengolah kopi menjadi berbagai minuman menarik membuat presentase remaja dan dewasa muda sebagai konsumen kopi semakin meningkat. Pada tahun 2011, 40% dari usia 18-24 tahun mengkonsumsi kopi setiap hari, meningkat dari 31%  pada tahun 2010. Kopi dapat menurunkan kadar glukosa darah dan mengurangi resiko terkena penyakit lainnya karena adanya chlorogenic acid yang merangsang Glucagon-like-peptida-1(GLP-1). Adapun tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui perbandingan kadar glukosa darah sebelum dan sesudah minum kopi. Penelitian dilakukan dengan cara eksperimental menggunakan sampel darah kapiler dari mahasiswa Prodi Analis sebanyak 30 orang. Metode: Metode yangdigunakan untuk pemeriksaan kadar glukosa darah adalah rapidtest yang dibantu alat glukometer easytouch . Hasil: Hasil rerata kadar glukosa sebelum perlakuan sebesar 94,10 mg/dL ± 8,242 mg/dL  dan  sesudah perlakuan sebesar 86,96 mg/dL ± 4,994 mg/dL. Diskusi : Berdasarkan analisis data menggunakan uji t berpasangan didapatkan nilai P=0.000, sehingga dapat disimpulkan ada perbedaan kadar glukosa darah puasa sesudah mengkonsumsi kopi, bahwa kopi dapat menurunkan kadar glukosa darah sebelum dan sesudah minum kopi.Kata Kunci : Kopi, Glukosa darah

Dysentery is an infection that causes sores that cause ulcers limited dicolon characterized by symptoms known as dysentery syndrome. In user of trimatoprim sulfametaksazol can cause or accelerate the onset of megaloblastosis, leocopenia, or trombostopenia. In regular use, this combination appears to show little toxicity, approximately 75% of these adverse effects involving the skin. ‘Pandan wangi’ (pandanus amaryllifolius roxb) is one of the plants that can be used as a natural antibiotic against shigella dysentriae infection because the content of fragrant pandan leaves include flavonoids, alkaloids, saponins and tannins.This type of research is experimental, while the goal is to determine the effect  of ‘pandan wangi’ leaf (pandanus amaryllifolius roxb) juice on shigella dysentriae. Consisting of 7 concentrations and four repetitions. Using dilution method by observing the growth of bacteria shigella dysentriae on ‘pandan wangi’ leaf juice that is characterized by the colonies grown on media Mac Conkey (MC).Data analysis uses Anova with an error or a = 5%. The advanced test uses Tukkey test, Honestly Significant Difference (HSD). After doing the research, the optimal concentration of juice of ‘pandan wangi’ (pandanus amaryllifolius roxb) leaves can inhibit shigella dysentriae is 25% and can kill shigella dysentriae from concentration of 50%. The final conclusion is that there is the effect of ‘pandan wangi’ (pandanus amaryllifolius roxb) leaf juice on shigella dysentriae. Keywords: Pandanus amaryllifolius Roxb leaves, shigella dysentriae.

      Abstract: Resistensi antibiotik merupakan masalah yang dihadapi oleh tenaga medis di seluruh dunia. Menurut WHO angka kematian akibat resistensi antibiotik sampai tahun 2014 sebesar 700.000 per tahun. Salah satu faktor pemicu meningkatnya kasus yakni penggunaan antibiotik yang tidak bijak pada manusia. Diperlukan alternatif antibiotik untuk mengendalikan infeksi bakteri, yang murah dan aman dengan menggunakan bahan alami berasal dari tanaman. Salah satu alternatifnya adalah daun bunga sepatu (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L). Dalam Daun bunga sepatu terkandung senyawa antimikroba yaitu: taraxeryl acetat, flavonoid, polifenol, dan saponin. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas perasan daun bunga sepatu (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L) terhadap pertumbuhan Staphylococcus aureus.Jenis penelitian bersifat eksperimental laboratorium dengan post-test design group with control secara in vitro. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode difusi Ring dengan kosentrasi bahan uji yang digunakan 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%, dan kontrol negatif serta positif (tetrasiklin). Populasi penelitian adalah Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 25923 berasal dari Balai Besar Laboratorium Kesehatan Surabaya. Uji statistik yang digunakan adalah annova dengan syarat data harus berdistribusi normal dan homogen dan dilanjutkan ke uji tukey HSD.Hasil analisis data uji annova menunjukkan bahwa perasan daun kembang sepatu (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L) efektif menghambat pertumbuhan Staphylococcus aureus dengan (nilai ρ<0,05). Diameter zona hambat perasan terbesar pada kosentrasi 100% yakni 26,6 mm dan terkecil pada 25% yakni 7,6 mm.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian daun bunga sepatu (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis L) belum bisa dianggap sebagai alternatif untuk penanggulangan penggunaan antibiotik kimia dikarenakan kontrol pembanding yang gunakan merupakan golongan antibiotik generasi pertama. Sehingga perlu diadakan penelitian dengan menggunakan kontrol pembanding antibiotik generasi terbaru. Kata kunci : Daun Bunga sepatu, Staphylococcus aureus

      Abstract: Indonesia with the title gemah ripah loh jinawi is never separated from the wealth of its natural resources, especially on the type of flora. Indonesia is rich in the types of medicinal plants one of which is a Keji beling plant. The Keji beling plants by the community are used as anti diabetic, diuretic, antisipilis, antioxidant, antimicrobial, and laksatif. A research has been conducted to determine the effectiveness of the vermicelli leaves (Sericocalyx crispus linn) in inhibiting the growth of Staphylococcus aureus. This study was experimental laboratory consisting of 24 samples with 6 treatments with 4 replications. The concentration of the vermicelli leaves is 0%, 10%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. The method used in this research is dilution method. Data were analyzed by ANOVA analysis at 5% error rate (α = 0,05). The follow-up test uses Tukey's Honest Significant Difference (Tukey's HSD) test. The results showed that the vermicelli leaves are effective in inhibiting the growth of Staphylococcus aureus. The concentration of the best Keji beling leaves that can inhibit the growth of S. aureus is at 100% concentration because only 19 colonies grow. TERHADAP  KADAR KOLESTEROL DARAH MENCIT (Mus musculus) YANG MENGALAMI HIPERKOLESTEROLEMIA DENGAN DIET TINGGI LEMAKRinza RahmawatiUniversitas Muhammadiyah SurabayaRinza_rahmawati@yahoo.com ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh bioaktifitas ekstrak bunga sepatu (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis l.) terhadap  kadar kolesterol darah mencit (Mus musculus) yang mengalami hiperkolesterolemia dengan diet tinggi lemak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental murni, dengan menggunakan rancangan randomized post-test only control group design. Bunga sepatu mengandung pigmen antosianin yang termasuk golongan flavonoid yang berperan sebagai antioksidan. Sebanyak dua puluh delapan mencit dibagi menjadi empat kelompok (K1, K2, K3 dan K4). Kelompok K1 adalah kelompok yang mendapat perlakukan pakan tinggi lemak dan aquadest setelah aklimatasi. Kelompok K2, K3, dan K4 adalah kelompok  terapi yang mendapat perlakukan pakan tinggi lemak, ekstrak bunga septum sebanyak 1 ml dan aquadest setelah aklimatasi. Pemberian pakan tinggi lemak berlangsung selama 28 hari. Selama penelitian berlangsung penimbangan berat badan tikus dilakukan sebanyak lima kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pemberian 1 ml ekstrak bunga sepatu selama dua puluh delapan hari dapat menurunkan kadar kolesterol mencit dimana nilai p<0.05. Kata kunci: ekstrak bunga sepatu, kadar kolesterol, diet tinggi lemak
