  • Peningkatan Motivasi dan Keterampilan Membaca Permulaan Siswa Kelas I
           Melalui Media Aplikasi Bamboomedia BMGames Apps

      Abstract: This study aims to (1) describe the application of media Bamboomedia BMGames apps application smart reading can increase the motivation and skills to read the beginning of the first-class students MI Muhammadiyah 27 Geger, (2) to increase the motivation and skills to read the beginning of the first-class students MI Muhammadiyah 27 Geger using media bambomedia BMGames apps application smart reading. This study is a class action (Classroom Action Research). Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, questionnaires, documentation, and testing. Data analysis techniques used comparative descriptive techniques and critical analysis. The conclusions of this study were (1) the application of media Bambomaedia BMGames Apps application smart reading in learning to read the beginning of the class I MI Muhammadiyah 27 Geger can increase the motivation and skills of students in each indicator in the cycle I and II, (2) increase student motivation in learning to read the beginning can be seen from pre action average of 54.67%, the first cycle, and the cycle II 72.00%, 81.33% medium, the student's skills in reading increased from the beginning pre action average of 59.33% and then in the first cycle, 71.33 % and the second cycle, 85.33% have reached the limit of completeness (KKM ≥ 70).

  • Kolaborasi Model Fun-N-Pick dan Team Game Tournament dalam Meningkatkan
           Self Esteem

      Abstract: One effort to increase self-esteem (self esteem) students in school is through the optimization of cooperative learning with models collaborate fun-n-pick and team game tournament. Where both models support each other, but remain separate and not become a new model. The purpose of this study was to explain whether the implementation of cooperative learning collaborative model of Fun-n-pick and team games tournament can meningkatkatkan esteem (self esteem) in Class VI SDN Putat Kidul 01 District Gondanglegi and describe the obstacles faced and the support it receives in implementing collaboration models fun-n-pick and team game tournament. Through action research by using two cycles of research and sixth grade students of Putat Kidul 01 Elementary School District Gondanglegi by the number of students 30 people as the subject. The tools used to collect data in the form of documentation and questionnaires. Sources of data obtained directly from students by actions in the classroom. The results showed that the implementation of cooperative learning collaborative model of Fun-N-Pick and team games tournament can meningkatkatkan esteem (self esteem) students in the school, and outline the obstacles in this study is found in the first cycle, but these barriers can be overcome and make an endorsement in implementing collaborative model of fun-n-pick and team game tournament.

  • Kajian Minat Membaca Siswa Terhadap Karya Sastra

      Abstract: Efforts to increase interest in reading are necessary to cultivate children's interest in reading, as a habit from children till adults. This research is to know the reading interests of students to literature, it is expected that we can provide facilities to children to choose books children's literature that became a favorite to increase reading interests. The study was conducted on a fifth grade students of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Sidoarjo which aims to find out how the students' interest in reading literature. This research uses descriptive qualitative design, with the population students of SD Muhammadiyah 1 Sidoarjo. The sample in this study is a fifth grade elementary school student SD Muhammadiyah 1 Sidoarjo. Collecting data in this study are using methods or techniques of questionnaires, interviews and observation. The results of the study most students like to read picture books or comics, with ownership of books 6-15 books. The students spent time reading about 0-60 minutes a day.

  • Peningkatan Karakter Mahasiswa Program Studi PGSD pada Mata Kuliah
           Pengembangan Pembelajaran IPA SD di Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo

      Abstract: PGSD student's character can be seen from various aspects of the attitude that must be owned by an educator, especially educators in primary school. Some of these aspects are honesty, cooperation, discipline, responsibility, and independence. Aspects of honesty student still low category, the aspect of cooperation, discipline, responsibility, and independence are being categorized. The purpose of this research is to describe the increase in student character study program PGSD On Learning Course Development IPA SD At the University of Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo. In conducting the study, researchers used a classroom action research (Classroom Action Research). Based on the results of the study in the first cycle and the second cycle, it can be seen that there is a rise in the value of the character of students in primary school teaching courses Learning Development IPA SD from the first cycle to the second cycle. Value of character in the first cycle of 71.4, while the value of the character in the second cycle of 98.5. This shows that there is an increase of 27.1 of all indicators of character shown by students of primary school teaching course on development of Elementary Science Lesson.

  • Media Cerita Bergambar untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menulis Puisi Anak

      Abstract: This research was conducted to improve the student’s ability in writing poetry which was caused by the lack of media that can stimulate students’ idea in teaching learning process so that the students’ ability in writing poetry was low. As a solution of that problem, the researcher used pictures story as mediain writing poetry. The researcher used classroom action research as a method. This study was conducted in two cycles and each cycle has four phases namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The data collection was done by using observation, test and field notes. Qualitative and quantitative data analysis were conducted on the activities of teacher and students' test results, whereas the field notes was only as supporting data whichrecorded events during the learning process.Based on the data analysis showed that there were an increase in student learning outcomes and students were able to write good poetry. In addition, the barriers in teaching learning can be solved by giving sanctions and rewards.

  • Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Mata Kuliah IPA Berbasis Pendekatan Scientific
           Approach

      Abstract: Scientific Approach is one instructional approach used in the curriculum of 2013. That prompted LPTK to generate prospective teachers who understand the essence of the curriculum of 2013. Based on observations activity and low student motivation to learn science. LKS assumed teaching materials can enhance the activity and motivation of students in the learning process. Research conducted by the method of research and development (research and development). Development of research methods used in this study adapt the model ADDIE. This model consists of five main phases or stages: 1) analyze, 2) design, 3) develop, 4) implement, 5) Evaluate. LKS development results-oriented IPA 1 aprroach by expert scientific learning technology obtained a score of V = 87.5 (very valid), while the practicality of the product gained a score of V = 71.5 with practicality criteria quite well. The effectiveness of the product was assessed by increased activity and student motivation. Activities students obtain a score of 73.21 with the active category as well as the motivation to study obtained a score of 63.94 with a category quite well. student worksheets produced meet the elements of a valid, practical, and effective.

  • Keterampilan Menulis Karangan Narasi pada Anak Gifted With Disynchronous
           Development (Studi Tunggal pada Satu Subjek)

      Abstract: This case study described twelve narrative essays of Miko within aspects of  language, cognitive, and affective. Miko is Gifted child With Disynchronous Development. The results indicated that the narrative essays in aspects of language, cognitive, and affective, as follows: 1) organizing content according to the narrative structure that consists of five components, namely opening, inciting moment, development stage, denouement and ending; 2) choice of words (diction) that appear in the narrative essays are  general and specific words, abstract, slang, foreign, and a figure of speech metaphor; 3) the sentences that appear in the narrative essays are simple sentence, compound sentence, and complex sentence; 4) tools of cohesion grammatical in the narrative essays are reference, substitution, ellipsis, and conjunction; and 5) specific style of spelling was found consistently in the narrative essays; 6) cognitive skill of Miko in the narrative essays is inference; and 7) affective skill of Miko are openness, sympathetic, gracious, and emphathetic in the narrative essays.

      Abstract: This study aims to assess the effect of cooperatife learning model type group investigation on introduction manajement education course to increase students’ creativity of students PGSD semester I UM Surabaya in academic year 2016/2017. This research use quantitative approach based on the test score of creativity or creative thinking ability of students. The indicators of creativity consists of fluent, flexible, and original thinking in which the score or value totaled and analyzed by using t-test two independent samples. On the validity of the test, it is obtained that the counting of  ≥ r r-critical (0.334), which is item 1= 0.937 and item 2 = 0.885 then the instrument is said to be valid and can be used. In the test of reliableility, the counting of r > r critical (0.60), namely Alpha value of 0.781 means greater than 0.60. Thus the entire item instrument is reliable. The results of hypothesis testing can be seen from the data that has been analyzed by t 5.222> t-table 2.00 (α = 0.05). it can be concluded that the problability of error in this research still below 0,05. Hypothesis testingbcan be decided that with the high price of 5.564 t-test has a significant level of 0.000 which turned the position which is still far below the value of α = 0.05. Therefore, this research successfully rejects the significant level of 5%. Furthermore, it can be concluded that  was proved right. Mean posttest in the experimental group was 85.63. The mean post-test control group was 75.45. It can be concluded that the creativity or creative thinking ability of students in the experimental group was higher than the control group. It is mean that model of cooperative learning type group investigation positive effect on creativity or creative thinking students’ ability.

      Abstract: The purpose of education in Indonesia is to educate the life of the nation which has been presented in the preamble of the 1945 Constitution to educate the nation to achieve the goal of education, the national development in the field of education as a whole, continuous and sustainable. Development in the field of education is one effort to improve the quality of the nation. A quality nation is a nation that will advance education. In the curriculum of 2013, the learning which initially embraces the learning of subject matter becomes thematic learning. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach, which in the qualitative approach can generate descriptive data in the form of written words or oral form of someone. Qualitative approach used in this research because in this research analyze a book. The results of the discussion in this study are: In the spiritual dimension is 45.00% in the category less feasible because many activities are less emphasis on sentences that contain spiritual elements. In this spiritual usnur free from the elements of SARA, pornography. On the social dimension is considered very high displays social aspects that reach 100% very feasible, almost every activity. In the percentage of knowledge dimensions obtained 87.5% is very feasible for use by students and the 83% skills dimension is very reasonable in terms of reasoning, problem solving.

      Abstract: Facebook is an internet based social media that were populer at the moment. The use of sosial media is very populer no exception student. Students communicatem confide and seek information through facebook. Of the activities, appears a phenomenon experienced by students of the symptoms of self esteem and self disclosure. This research aims to determine the relationship between self esteem and self disclosure. The relationship between the level of self esteem with self disclosure while chatting on facebook worth 0,766. Meaning that the reletionship between the level of self esteem with self disclosure is very strong and direct. Where a person who has high self esteem will be able to able to demonstrate self-disclosure are effective in communicating that is: be open, able to empathize, to be positive in the communication process and feel similar to the communication partner. Conversely a low self esteem are less able to express himself well, fear of failure in social relations

  • Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan Melalui Strategi
           Active Learning

      Abstract: This study aimed to know the effectiveness of active learning in Civic Education course at UMSIDA. This study used Classroom Action Research design with 2 cycles and 4 main activities in each cycle, namely planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The researcher took 36 (3 male and 33 female) second semester students of Primary School Education Department, particularly A2 class, academic year 2015/2016 as the subjects of the study. The results showed that the students’ score got improved 72% in cycle I (26 students) and 86% in cycle 2 (31 students). In short, the implementation of active learning was able to increase the students’ learning outcome in Civic Education course.
