      Abstract: The objective of this research is to know the influence of transformational leadership of headmaster and principal's headmaster's ability to motivate teacher guidance and counseling in SMA Negeri Medan. The subjects of this study are guidance and counseling teachers with a total of 148 people. This research method is descriptive percentage. The results of this study indicate that the influence of transformational leadership of the principal on the motivation of teacher guidance and counseling work as Medan with significant level rhitung> rtabel (0,401> 0,161) and the influence of management ability to motivation of teacher guidance and counseling work as Medan Significant level rhitung> rtabel (0,261> 0,161). Keywords: Transformational Leadership, Management, Work                   Motivation

      Abstract: ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPA pada sekolah dasar melalui mata kuliah konsep dasar IPA. Hasil dari penelitian ini kiranya dapat memberikan gambaran mengenai pengaruh perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan kognitif dan keterampilan berfikir kreatif mahasiswa PGSD pada mata kuliah konsep dasar IPA menggunakan model pembelajaran inductive thinking berbasis keterampilan proses sains dengan tanpa berbasis keterampilan proses sains. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode eksperimen semu. Dalam penelitian ini, subyek penelitian dibagi ke dalam dua kelas, satu kelas digunakan sebagai kelas eksperimen dan satu kelas lagi sebagai kelas kontrol, dimana penentuan kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen dilakukan secara acak. Kata Kunci: Inductive Thinking, Keterampilan Proses Sains, Berfikir                      Kreatif

      Abstract: This study aims to obtain data to determine the description of social ethics and attitudes of children in the State Elementary School 152980 Hajoran subdistrict of Pandan regency of  Central Tapanuli. This research method using quantitative descriptive method with survey technique with 25 research samples that come from class V SD Negeri 152980 Hajoran subdistrict of Pandan regency of  Central Tapanuli. Collection techniques data used through surveys by using questionnaires, and Test the validity of the questionnaire using Product Moment correlation coefficient formula while the reliability test using the formula Cronbach Alpha. In this study obtained good criteria data, namely the social ethics of students in the family, social ethics in school and social ethics in the community. And learning attitudes obtained cognitive and affective data have good criteria and psychomotor and learning activities in school and home study activities obtained data with sufficient criteria. Keywords: Social Ethics, Learning Attitude.   • PENGARUH LINGKUNGAN TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA SDN 101201 KECAMATAN
           SIPIROK KABUPATEN TAPANULI SELATAN

      Abstract: ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh lingkungan sekolah terhadap prestasi belajar siswa SDN 101201 Kecamatan Sipirok Kabupaten Tapanuli Selatan Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 30 siswa dan sampel sebanyak 30 siswa atau total unit populasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket sebanyak 20 butir pertanyaan yang telah dinyatakan valid dan reabel dan dokumentasi (Daftar Kumpulan Nilai). Teknik analis data menggunakan statistik korelasi product moment, uji hipotesis, dan uji koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian ditemukan lingkungan sekolah siswa tergolong sangat baik dengan nilai rata – rata sebesar 69,44 dan rata – rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 69,35 atau berada pada kategori baik. Hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh rxy< rtabel yaitu  0,0376 .< 0,3610 dan thitung < ttabel( 0,1991< 1,701). Hasil perhitungan koefisien determinasi diperoleh I = 0,14138 % dengan persamaan regresi Ŷ = 54,67 + 0,229X .  Kata Kunci: Pengaruh Lingkungan, Prestasi Belajar, Siswa

  • PENERAPAN METODE DISCOVERY UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPA SISWA

      Abstract: Research background of low learning outcomes of science class V students under the mastery of 85%. The purpose of research to improve learning outcomes. This research is a classroom action research (PTK). The research was conducted in class V SDN 006 Langgini academic year 2016/2017 with total 23 students. Based on the results of the discussion and analysis concluded through the application of discovery method can improve students' science learning outcomes. Increased teacher activity is due to teachers are accustomed to using discovery methods. Student learning outcomes have increased from cycle I to cycle II. Students' learning outcomes before action averaged 57%, then on cycle I get 63%. Cycle II gets an average of 95%. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Discovery Method, IPA

      Abstract: This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes in Mathematics subjects through Demonstration methods. The method of this research is classroom action research (PTK). Learning by demonstration method in Mathematics lesson in Grade IV of SD Negeri 162091 Kota Tebing Tinggi has a positive impact in improving students 'interest and achievement which is marked by improvement of students' learning mastery in every cycle, that is pre cycle average 58,43, cycle I 67.81, cycle 2 83.12 and declared successful classically with an average of 83.12. Keywords: Demonstration, Learning Outcomes, Mathematics

      Abstract: ABSTRAKPenelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan: 1) Untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman siswa kelas IIa Semester Genap SDN 105292 Percut Sei Tuan dalam  mendeskripsikan lingkungan rumah melalui penerapan strategi pembelajaran Picture and Picture; 2) Bagaimana respon siswa kelas IIa Semester Genap SDN 105292 Percut Sei Tuan dalam pembelajaran IPS melalui penerapan strategi pembelajaran Picture and Picture. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif yang dilakukan dengan 2 siklus. Subyek dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas Ia SDN 105292 Percut Sei Tuan. Sedangkan obyeknya adalah strategi Picture and Picture. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada siklus 1 ketuntasan belajar siswa pada materi ini nilai rata-rata hanya 66,00 sedangkan pada siklus 2 dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran Picture and Picture meningkat menjadi 83.00. Respon siswa juga meningkat, data hasil observasi terhadap aktivitas siswa dari 52.08% pada siklus 1, meningkat pada siklus 2 menjadi 89,58% pada siklus kedua. Kata Kunci: Mendeskripsikan, Strategi Pembelajaran, Picture and                       Picture

      Abstract: This study aims to develop IPS learning media in the form of interactive multimedia and test the feasibility of interactive multimedia learning media that has been developed. This type of research is research and development (R & D) which refers to the model developed by Borg and Gall. The results showed the feasibility of interactive multimedia aspects of the media of 4.00, material aspects of 3.23, and language aspects of 4.11. In a limited trial of student questionnaire results showed the feasibility of 4.34 and teacher questionnaires of 4.70. While the questionnaire results of students on a wide test show the feasibility of 4.44. Based on the result of a series of feasibility test process, interactive multimedia developed feasible to be used in IPS learning. Keywords: Development, Interactive Multimedia, IPS

      Abstract: This study aims to determine the use of experimental methods in improving students' learning activeness in science lessons in class VIII-2 SMP Negeri 4 Tebing Tinggi. The subjects of the study were students of class VIII-2, amounting to 35 people. The result of research on student learning activity in the first cycle of meeting I is 71,52% (active enough), cycle I second II that is 72,30% (active enough), in cycle II meeting I that is 82,30% (active), cycle II meeting II is 84.01% (active). The result of observation of classroom teacher about the implementation of experimental method of cycle I meeting I is 68,75% (less good), cycle I meeting II is 78,12% (good enough), in cycle II meeting I is 87,5% (good) Cycle II meeting II is 93,75% (very good). Keywords: Learning Activeness, Experimental Methods, IPA

      Abstract: The study aims to improve the learning outcomes of science students grade 4 SDN Kesongo 01. Research methods undertaken are TOD conducted two cycles per cycle consisting of two meetings. The subjects of this study are 4th grade students of SDN Kesongo 01 with 23 students. The results showed an increase in the learning outcomes of grade 4 students SDN Kesongo 01 lesson 2016/2017. With the increase of students' learning outcomes in cycle I, 17 students got the score according to KKM standard ≥70 (73,9%) and on cycle II 22 students got value according to KKM standard ≥70 (95,7%). Keywords: Contextual Teaching and Learning Approach, Learning                 Outcomes of Science

      Abstract: This aim of this research is to improve learning result on christian educationthrough mastery learningmethod. This classroom action researchconducted by 2 cycles of the four phases: planning, implementation, observation, reflection. The subjects were students from class V, SD Negeri165728 Tebing Tinggi which amounted to8 students. This study used a qualitative descriptive analysis technique.       Abstract: This study aims to improve the creativity of science students learning grade 4 SDN Jatirunggo 02 Pringapus through learning models Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL). This research is a classroom action research (PTK) using spiral model from Stephen Kemmis and Robin Mc Taggart which is done in two cycles. The subjects of this study were 4 grade students of SDN Jatirunggo 02 Pringapus, consisting of 33 students, ie 13 male students and 20 female students. Technique of collecting data in the form of observation technique. Data analysis technique used is descriptive comparative.       Abstract: ABSTRAKPenelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman serta respon siswa kelas Ia semester I SDN  105292 Percut Sei Tuan dalam Penjumlahan dan Pengurangan melalui penerapan strategi pembelajaran media kongret. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif interaktif yang dilakukan dengan 2 siklus. Adapun subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas Ia SDN 105292 Percut Sei Tuan. Sedangkan obyeknya adalah strategi menghitung penjumlahan dan pengurangan dengan benda kongret. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada siklus 1 ketuntasan belajar siswa pada materi ini nilai rata-rata hanya 66,sedangkan pada siklus 2 dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran dengan benda kongret meningkat mencapai nilai rata-rata 83 Respon siswa juga meningkat, data hasil observasi terhadap aktivitas guru dari 59,72% pada siklus 1, meningkat pada siklus 2 menjadi  93,06%. Kata Kunci: Prestasi Belajar, Minat dan Motivasi, Media Konkret

  • PENINGKATAN PARTISIPASI SISWA DALAM PELAJARAN PKN MELALUI CBSA TEKNIK

      Abstract: Classroom action research on Increasing Student Participation of Grade V of SD Negeri 165720 Tebing Tinggi in following Civics lesson through CBSA group working technique consisting of three cycles shows significant results. Through CBSA group work technique in learning it can: (1) increase the participation of class V students in follow the Civics lesson, that is from 71,50% in cycle I to 81,14% in cycle II, (2) improve student learning result class V Ie from 72,35 in cycle I to 80,15% in cycle II.       Abstract: ABSTRAKPenelitian tindakan kelas ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman dan respon siswa kelas IVa semester ganjil SDN 105292 Percut Sei Tuan dalam memahami materi Energi Panas melalui penerapan strategi pembelajaran skrip Kooperatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif interaktif yang dilakukan dengan 3 siklus. Subyek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IVa semester SDN 105292 Percut Sei Tuan. Sedangkan obyeknya adalah strategi Skrip Kooperatif. Berdasarkan analisis data dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada siklus 1 ketuntasan belajar siswa pada materi ini nilai rata-rata hanya 66,00, sedangkan pada siklus 2 dengan menerapkan strategi pembelajaran Skrip Kooperatif meningkat mencapai nilai rata-rata 72,42. Dan pada siklus 3 nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 83,00. Respon siswa juga meningkat, data hasil observasi terhadap aktifitas siswa dari 52,08% pada siklus 1, meningkat pada siklus 2 menjadi dari 70,83%dan menjadi 89,58% pada siklus ketiga. Kata Kunci:  Penguasaan Konsep, Kemampuan Siswa, Skrip                       Kooperatif

      Abstract: The purpose of this study is to improve students' speaking ability by applying the sociodrama method through learning Indonesian in grade V SD Negeri 104214 Deli Tua. This type of research is collaborative action research (PTK). Data collection methods used are observation, and documentation. Based on observation result of first ability of researcher with teacher of class 38 people from 26 students there are 5 students who able to speak with percentage (13,1%) and 33 students who have not able to speak with percentage (86,9%), with mean value Class 23.68. Keywords: Ability, Speaking, Sociodrama
