      Pages: 373 - 379
Abstract: A nurse must be able to balance the various stressors obtained in the work environment because they have to provide professional services to patients. This requires personal factors inherent in the nurse so as to adapt to stressful conditions. Internal factors include the ability to withstand the problem (resilience of efficacy). The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation resilience of efficacy with the level of stress and job satisfaction nurses in RS X. The research method was a correlational study with purposive sampling and sample size of 30 respondents. The instruments were used questionnaires then analyzed with Spearman rho test. Based on the result, the majority (56,7%) respondents have high category resilience of efficacy, the majority (80%) have light work stress and most of them (93,3%) have high job satisfaction. The results of research obtained, resilience of efficacy with nurse work stress level (p=0,039, cc=-0,393), resilience of efficacy with nurse job satisfaction (p-value=0,007, and cc=0,469). This means there was a correlation between the resilience of efficacy with work stress and nurse job satisfaction. It is expected that nurses need to do a good coping strategy for overcoming the problems found. The higher the resilience of efficacy the lower the stress level will be and it will increase the nurse's comfort in working so that it can improve job satisfaction.

Abstract: Old age is often attacked the cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension. Ministry of Health Republic of Indonesia (2012) states that hypertension is one of the most influential risk factors for the incidence of heart disease and blood vessels. High blood pressure continuously increases the burden of the arteries slowly. The arteries undergo hardening process becomes thick and rigid, thus reducing its elasticity. Hypertension can also lead to heart disease because if high blood pressure is left without regular treatment, the heart must pump very strongly to push blood into the arteries, over time the walls of the heart muscle become thicker. An abnormally enlarged heart is an unhealthy heart because the heart becomes stiff and the beat tends to be irregular. This will make pumping less effective and eventually lead to heart failure. Pharmacologic treatment using drugs have the risk of side effects. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of laughter yoga as non-pharmacological therapy in the elderly with hypertension by measuring the difference in blood pressure before and after being treated laughter yoga. Quantitative experimental research with pretest-posttest with a control group design. The sample used purposive sampling that is 20 elderly that is 10 elderly with treatment and 10 elderly as a control. The instrument was used analog tensimeter. • Efek Anti Inflamasi Enzim Bromelin Nanas Terhadap Osteoartritis

    • Authors: Andini Bakti Putri, Anita Anita
      Pages: 482 - 490
Abstract: Inflammation is a complex reaction of the body's immune system in the vascular tissue that causes the accumulation and activation of leukocytes and plasma proteins that occur during infection, poisoning or cell damage. Inflammation can be treated by using anti-inflammatory drugs such as NSAIDs (Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs) that serve as pain reliever, febrifuge, and anti-inflammatory. One of the most common chronic inflammatory diseases is osteoarthritis. Osteoarthritis is the most common form of arthritis in society, which has a major impact on public health problems. Currently there are many therapeutic modalities of both pharmacology and non-pharmacology for the management of osteoarthritis, therefore it is necessary to recommend effective treatment of osteoarthritis in Indonesia based on the latest scientific evidence. The use of NSAIDs that do not correspond to doses can cause side effects such as bleeding, gastric ulcers, worsening asthma symptoms and acute kidney failure. This is the health problem in Indonesia, especially for ordinary people who use NSAIDs with excessive doses, because they want to quickly relieve pain. Therefore, it is necessary to look for a safe anti-inflammatory drug and can reduce the pain caused to arthritis. Ananascomosus (pineapple) has long been used for various medical purposes. There are four different proteases in the pineapple, the two major enzymes in pineapple defined as bromelain’s stems and bromelain’s fruit. In the latest study there are various therapeutic benefits that have been proposed for bromelin, such as anti-inflammatory, reducing swelling, reducing pain, facilitating the digestive system, accelerating wound healing and acting as an anticoagulant.
