Self-Discipline of Students in Physical Education

    • Authors: Anung Priambodo
Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine: 1) The difference between the effects of training methods and the gradual striking distance striking distance remains as to the accuracy of hitting the ball Softball. 2) The difference in accuracy influence Softball hitting the ball between the athletes who have a good kinesthetic perception, kinesthetic perception was, and kinesthetic perception less. 3) The effect of interaction between training methods with kinesthetic perception as to the accuracy of hitting the ball Softball. This study used an experimental method with 2x3 factorial design. The results of this study were: 1) There is a significant difference between the gradual striking distance training methods and training methods remain striking distance of the ability to hit a softball with the result of the acquisition value p-value = 0.027 smaller than 0.05. 2) There is a significant difference between athletes who have a kinesthetic perception of good, moderate, lacking the ability to hit a softball with the result of the acquisition value p-value = 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05. 3) There is an interaction between striking distance training methods and kinesthetic perception of the ability to hit a softball with the result of the acquisition value p-value = 0.000, which is smaller than 0.05 The conclusion of this study were: 1) Gradually striking distance training methods have a better effect than the fixed striking distance training methods. 2) Athletes who have less kinesthetic perception has better results than the athletes who have good kinesthetic perception and being. 3) There is an interaction between striking distance training methods and kinesthetic perception of the ability to hit a softball.

  • App Inventor2 Learning Basketball at Grade X Senior High School

    • Authors: Dani Indrianto, Heny Setyawati, Donny Wira Yudha Kusuma
Abstract: The purpose of this study is to involve the growing sophistication of technology on education and determine the feasibility and the improvement of learning outcomes using a smartphone. This study uses a development which is the basis for developing models produced. The results of the small scale trials, improving every aspect obtained is the cognitive aspects of 59%, 49% psychomotor, and affective 0%. Gain test results criterion level of cognitive, psychomotor and the average yield was high (value ≥ 0.7). On the affective aspect, low level criteria (value ≤ 0.3). From large-scale trial found an average increase in each school obtained on the cognitive aspects of between 49% -54%, psychomotor aspects 48% -55%, affective 0%. Data validation field tests of media experts 83.33%, experts PE 85%, experts basketball 97.5% and an average of four teachers at 93.1%, as well as the responses of students amounted to 91.68%. Gain test results criterion level of cognitive, psychomotor and the average yield was high (value ≥ 0.7). On the affective aspect, low level criteria (value ≤ 0.3). Based on the above results, it can be concluded that the instructional media PE (basketball) Android-based high school students eligible for use in learning.

  • The Influence of Methods Massed Practice and Distributed Practice Model on
The Speed and Accuracy of Service Tennis Courts

    • Authors: Desak Wiwin, Edy Mintarto, Nurkholis Nurkholis
Abstract: The purpose of this study was to analyze about (1) the effect of the method massed practice against the speed and accuracy of service, (2) the effect of the method of distributed practice against the speed and accuracy of service and (3) the influence of methods of massed practice and distributed practice against the speed and accuracy of service. This type of research used in this research is quantitative with quasiexperimental methods. The research design uses a non-randomized control group pretest posttest design, and data analysis using Manova. The process of data collection is done by testing the speed of service (dartfish) and test accuracy (Hewitt) during the pretest and posttest. The results of the study as follows: (1) there is a significant influence on the methods of massed practice to increase the speed and accuracy of service (2) there is a significant influence on the method of distributed practice to increase the speed and accuracy of service (3) There is no significant difference influence among methods massed ptactice practice and distributed to the speed and accuracy of service. Conclusions of this research is a method massed practice and distributed practice equally provide significant results but that gives the influence of better is method distributed practice to speed and accuracy of service.

Abstract: The purpose of this research was to analyze the difference between the effectiveness of Thai and Sports massage against the decrease of lactic acid and blood glucose. The research was experimental laboratoris. The results showed the initial data retrieval on lactic acid level in treatment and control group ranged between between 1.30-3.40 mmol/l of lactate. Then on lactic acid level after activities on Sport massage group was 6.01 mmol/l, whereas the thai massage group was 5.72 mmol/l, and control group was 5.18 mmol/l. whereas in lactic acid levels after 5 minutes of physical activity on a group of sport massage namely 8.36 mmol/l , a group of thai massage 7.26 mmol/l, and the control group 5.83 mmol/l. lactic acid levels and then 10 minutes of physical activity on the group after group of sport massage namely 3.81 mmol/l, a group of thai massage 4.11 mmol/l, and the control group 4.62 mmol/l. While on initial data retrieval on the blood glucose levels between 75 – 91 mg/dL. then in blood glucose levels after activities on a group of sport massage namely 93.50 mg/dL, while the Group of thai massage 96.12 mg/dL, and the control group 88.75 mg/dL. While in blood glucose levels after 5 minutes of physical activity on a group of sport massage i.e. namely 89.75 mg/dL, a group of thai. massage 88.25 mg/dL and a control group of 88 mg/dL. Then blood glucose after 10 minutes of physical activity on the group the Group of sport massage i.e. namely 81.12 mg/dL, a group of thai massage 83.12 mg/dL, and the control group 85.00 mg/dL.
