  • Evaluation Single Integrals by Using Suggested Method and Improving the
           Results by Atken's Acceleration

      Abstract: The main aim of this paper is the application of suggested method by Mohammed [4] of calculating single integrals whose
      integrands are continuous or singular at one or both limits of the integrals and specific periods of integration, and compare
      the results of this method with the results of Trapezoidal and Midpoint rules.
      The measure of comparison between these methods is the accuracy and speed of approaching the actual values
      (analytical values) for these integrals and the number of subintervals used will be mentioned.

Also, several properties of these functions werestudied and investigated.

  • TWO STEP FINITE DIFFERENCE SCHEMES FOR THE SOLUTION OF SOME INITIAL VALUE
           SECOND ORDER ORDINARY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS WITH VANISHING VELOCITY
           COMPONENTS

      Abstract: This paper presents a new set of two step finite difference schemes for the numerical solution of some initial value second order ordinary differential equations. We applied a combination of non-standard transformation and an interpolation function to create a new simulation model. The resulting schemes have been shown to be very suitable to a class of second order ordinary differential equations with vanishing velocity components. The schemes have been found to posses desirable qualitative properties and it converges to the analytic solution.

  • Multistage Adomian Decomposition Method for Nonlinear 4th Order
           Multi-Point Boundary Value Problems

      Abstract: In this paper, the decomposition method for solving multipoint 4th order nonlinear boundary value problem is presented.
      The method popularly known as Adomian Decomposition Method (ADM) gave the solution to this class of equation in
      series form. The numerically calculated finite terms of each series were compared with the continuous closed form
      solution and we discovered that the absolute errors were very minimal. More so, this method solutions alongside that of
      the analytic solution were shown in plotted graphs. The visualization and the errors showed great potential of ADM in
      obtaining approximate solutions to nonlinear differential equations.

  • On a new Lp – Class to establish the relationship between various
           optimality criteria

      Abstract: An optimality criterion is a function  T(eta) of the information matrix interpreted so that a small value T(eta) of mean good quality of the experiment. In this research, we proposed to take T(eta)^-1 instead of T(eta) and called T(eta)^-1 the information functional matrix and used to establish the relationship between these various optimality criteria (E, D and A). We also examined relative efficiency of Ee, De, and Ae criteria to determine the best design optimality criterion.
