  • PENGARUH KECERDASAN INTRAPERSONAL TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR MATEMATIKA
           SISWA DITINJAU DARI TINGKAT AKREDITASI SEKOLAH SMA NEGERI DI KABUPATEN

      Abstract: Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui deskripsi kecerdasan intrapersonal dan pengaruh kecerdasan intrapersonal terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar ditinjau dari tingkat akreditasi sekolah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex-post facto yang bersifat kausalitas. Penelitian ex-post facto dirancang untuk menerangkan adanya hubungan sebab akibat antar variabel kecerdasan intrapersonal dengan prestasi belajar matematika. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Polewali Mandar tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Sampel penelitian adalah 132 siswa yang diambil dengan menggunakan proporsional stratified random sampling. Instumen yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan angket. Tes digunakan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai prestasi belajar matematika sedangkan angket digunakan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai kecerdasan intrapersonal. Data dianalisis dengan statistika deskriptif dan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Untuk sekolah dengan akreditasi A, B, dan tidak terakreditasi diperoleh  kecerdasan intrapersonal dengan rata-rata skor 86,42 berada pada kategori tinggi dan prestasi belajar matematika dengan rata-rata skor 30,58 berada pada kategori kurang; (2) Kecerdasan intrapersonal tidak berpengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar matematika pada sekolah dengan akreditasi A, B, dan tidak terakreditasi. :This research aimed to know description of intrapersonal intelligence and it’s influence of intrapersonal intelligence to mathematic learning achievement of students in grade XI MIPA State SMA in Polewali based on the levels of school accreditation. This research was an ex post facto with causality study. Ex post facto study was designed to explain causal correlation between variable of intrapersonal intelligence and mathematics learning achievement. The Populations of this research were all of students in grade XI MIPA State SMA of Polewali Mandar in 2016/2017. Samples  of the research were 132 student choosen by academic year  using proporsional stratified random sampling. Instrument used to collect the data of this study were test and questionnaire. The test used to get information about mathematics learning achievement while questionnaire used to get information about intrapersonal intelligence. Datas were analyzed with descriptive statistic and simple linear regression analysis. Result of study shows that: (1) for schools with accredited A, B, and not accredited are obtained  intrapersonal intelligence is in high category with mean score is 86,42  and mathematics learning achievement fall on low category. with mean score is 30,58; (2) intrapersonal intellgence is not effect on mathematics learning achievement of students in school with accreditation category of A and B also non accreditation.

  • PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN
           PENDEKATAN KONTEKSTUAL

      Abstract: Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran dengan pendekatan kontekstual pada pokok bahasan segitiga yang meliputi buku siswa, lembar kegiatan siswa, dan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII2 SMP Negeri 26 Makassar dengan jumlah mahasiswa sebanyak 36 orang. Prosedur pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model Thiagarajan atau model 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Dessiminate) yang meliputi 4 tahap, yaitu tahap pembatasan, tahap perancangan, tahap pengembangan, dan tahap penyebaran. Perangkat pembelajaran dengan pendekatan kontekstual yang telah dikembangkan telah divalidasi dan mengalami revisi berulang-ulang sehingga didapatkan hasil yang maksimal dan layak untuk digunakan. Hasil dari ujicoba terbatas perangkat pembelajaran dengan pendekatan kontekstual bersifat efektif dan praktis, yaitu (1) skor rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa pada tes haasil belajar adalah 71,97 dari skor ideal 100 dengan standar deviasi 14,78, di mana 29 dari 36 siswa atau 80,56 % memenuhi ketuntasan individu yang menunjukkan bahwa ketuntasan klasikal tercapai.; (2) dengan menggunakan perangkat pembelajaran dengan pendekatan kontekstual siswa jadi lebih aktif dalam proses pembelajaran; (3) pada umumya siswa memberikan respon yang positif terhadap perangkat pembelajaran yang digunakan; (4) guru dapat membimbing kelompok bekerja dan belajar; dan (5) tingkat kemampuan guru dalam mengelola proses pembelajaran dengan pendekatan kontekstual termasuk dalam kategori tinggi, artinya penampilan guru dapat dipertahankan. :This study was developmental research with limited trial which aimed at developing an intruction package using the contextual teaching and learning approach in the topic of Triangle covering Student Book, Student Worksheets, and Lesson Plan. The research subjects were 36 Grade VII2 students of SMP Negeri 26 Makassar. The development procedure employed the Thiagarajan model or 4-D model which covered 4 phases, namely, define, design, develop, and disseminate. The instructional package produced using the contextual teaching and learning approach had been validated and redised therefore  the package was considered to be feasible to be implemented. The results of the limited trial showed that the package was both effective and practical. It could be seen in the results of data analyses, that is, (1) the average score the students reached in the test of learning achievement was 71,97 of an ideal score 100 with standard deviation 14,78. It was found that 29 of 36 (80,56%) students achieved the individual mastery learning level was achieved; (2) the implementation of the package could encourage the students to be more active during the lesson; (3) in general, the students provided positive responses toward the package; (4) the teacher could guide the student groups in working and learning; and (5) the level of the teacher ability to manage an intruction using the contextual teaching and learning approach was categorized as high, which meant that the teacher performance could be maintained.

  • ANALISIS KESULITAN ANAK TUNAGRAHITA DALAM MENYELESAIKAN SOAL OPERASI
           PENJUMLAHAN DI SEKOLAH LUAR BIASA (SLB) HARAPAN IBU METRO

      Abstract: Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan belajar yang dihadapi siswa tunagrahita dalam menyelesaikan operasi penjumlahan. Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Harapan Ibu (SLB) pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 3 siswa tunagrahita kelas III SLB Harapan Ibu Metro yang hanya mengalami kesulitan belajar matematika (diskalkulia). Metode penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif, pendekatan dalam penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pemilihan subjek penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Analisis data yang mengacu pada pendapat Miles dan Huberman adalah reduksi data, pemaparan data, analisis data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan yang dihadapi siswa tunagrahita sebagai berikut: (1) perhitungan, (2) kesulitan menunjukkan angka, dan (3) penggunaan proses yang keliru dalam penjumlahan. :The purpose of this study is to describe the learning difficulties faced by mental retardation students in solving the problem of addition operation. The research was conducted at Harapan Ibu Metro Special School (SLB) in the even semester of the academic year 2016/2017. Research subjects consisted of 3 mental retardation students class III SDLB Harapan Ibu Metro who only experienced difficulty learning mathematics (diskalkulia). This research method is qualitative method, approach in research use approach descriptive. The technique of choosing the subject of this research is purposive sampling. Data analysis that refers to Miles and Huberman's opinion such as data reduction, data exposure, data analysis, and conclusion. The results showed that the difficulties faced by students tunagrahita as follows: (1) calculation, (2) difficulty showing numbers, dan (3) the use of erroreous processes in the summing.

      Abstract: Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran hasil belajar matematika yang menggunakan metode deduktif dan induktif, gambaran hasil belajar matematika yang menggunakan metode deduktif dan induktif, perbedaan yang signifikan antara metode deduktif dengan induktif terhadap hasil belajar matematika ditinjau dari motivasi belajar siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi eksperiment. Populasi dalam penelitian ini ialah seluruh siswa kelas XII IPS MAN Wajo terdiri dari 4 kelas, yang berjumlah 86 siswa. Penentuan sampel dengan cara random. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar dan angket motivasi belajar matematika. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial dengan uji F ANAVA dengan interaksi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis statistika deskriptif, diperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil belajar siswa menggunakan metode deduktif adalah 74,91 dan metode induktif adalah 88,95, nilai rata-rata motivasi belajar matematika siswa menggunakan metode deduktif adalah 65,73 dan metode induktif adalah 68,23. Berdasarkan analisis inferensial, diperoleh F0 > F tabel (3,911 > 3,24) dan nilai Sig. <  = 0,021 < 0,05, maka Ho ditolak, artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara metode deduktif dengan metode induktif terhadap hasil belajar matematika ditinjau dari motivasi belajar siswa kelas XII IPS MAN Wajo. :This study aims to find out the learning outcome in mathematics using Inductive Method, outcome in mathematics using Deductive Method, the description of students’ learning motivation using Inductive Method, the students' learning motivation using Deductive Method, to know the significant difference between Inductive Method and Deductive Method on the learning outcome in mathematics based on the learning motivation of students in social sciences major of grade 12 of Islamic Senior High School Wajo, Wajo regency. This research is a quasi-experimental design. The population was all the students of social sciences in grade 12 of Islamic Senior High school Wajo which consisted of 86 students. The sampling technique was simple random sampling. Instruments used were the learning outcomes test, questionnaire on learning motivation of mathematics and observation sheet. The techniques of analysis used were descriptive statistics and inferential statistical analysis with F test of ANAVA with interaction. Based on the results of data analysis using descriptive statistics for student's learning outcome using Deductive Method, the average score of this group was 74.91. On the other hand, the students’ learning outcome using Inductive Method reached the average score of 88.95. Theaverage score of students’ learning motivation in mathematics using deductive method was 65.73. As for students’ learning motivation using Deductive Method, the average score was 68.23. The result of ANAVA for hypothesis I is that F0 > F table, thus Ho is rejected. Therefore, it is concluded that there is a significant difference between Inductive Method and Deductive Method on Mathematics Learning outcome. As for the hypothesis II, the result obtained shows that F0 > F table, thus Ho rejected, then it is concluded that there are differences between students who have high motivation, moderate motivation and low motivation in their learning outcomes in mathematics. For the hypothesis III, it is revealed that F0> F table (3.911> 3.24) and the Sig value < α = 0.021 <0.05, hence Ho is rejected, where it indicates that there is a significant difference between Inductive Method and Deductive Method towards the learning outcome in mathematics based on the learning motivation of students in social sciences major of grade 12 of Islamic Senior High School Wajo, Wajo regency.

  • PENGARUH PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN REALISTIK SETTING KOOPERATIF TERHADAP
           KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI MATEMATIKA SISWA KELAS VIII

      Abstract: Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran matematika melalui penerapan pendekatan realistik setting kooperatif pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Makassar tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Jenis penelitian ini adalah  penelitian pre-eksperimen yang melibatkan satu kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen tanpa adanya kelas kontrol dengan desain penelitian one group pre-test and post-test design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VIIIB sebanyak 33 orang siswa yang terdiri dari 12 orang laki-laki dan 21 orang perempuan. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 6 kali pertemuan. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah tes untuk melihat kemampuan komunikasi tulisan siswa, lembar observasi untuk mengamati kemampuan komunikasi lisan siswa selama pembelajaran berlangsung, lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran untuk mengamati kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran sesuai dengan RPP serta lembar angket untuk mengetahui respons siswa terhadap pembelajaran melalui penerapan pendekatan realistik setting kooperatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) rata-rata kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa sebelum dan setelah diajar dengan pendekatan realistik setting kooperatif secara berturut-turut adalah  6,15 dan 29,93 dari skor ideal 60 dengan rata-rata skor gain ternormalisasi sebesar  0,44 yang berarti peningkatannya berada pada kategori sedang, (2) rata-rata persentase frekuensi kemampuan komunikasi lisan siswa dikatakan berhasil karena perolehan rata-rata persentase 76,63%, (3) rata-rata keterlaksanaan pembelajaran yaitu 3,6 dan ini berada pada kategori terlaksana sangat baik, dan (4) angket respons siswa menunjukkan bahwa respons siswa terhadap pembelajaran pendekatan realistik setting kooperatif cenderung positif dengan persentase 88%. Dari hasil penelitian ini, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pendekatan realistik setting kooperatif berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Makassar.
      :This study aims to determine the effect of learning mathematics through Realistic Cooperative Setting Approach to students mathematics’ communication skill of VIII grade of SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Makassar academic year 2017/2018. This Pre-Experiment research involved one class as a case study without control class with One-Group Pre-Test and Post-Test design. The subject of this research were 33 student’s of VIIIB consist of 12 male and 21 female.  The research were conducted in 6 meeting. The instrument of this research were test to saw the students’ written communication ability, observation sheet to observed students’ oral communication ability during the learning process, observation sheet of learning implementation to observed teacher ability in managed learning process in appropriate with RPP and questionnaire to measured the student response in learning trough Realistic Cooperative Setting Approach. The result of this research showed that: (1) most of the students’ mathematical communication skill before and after taught by Realistic Cooperative Setting Approach were successive 6,15 and 29,93 from the ideal 60 with average normalized gain score 0.44  means that increase was in the medium category, (2) the average percentage of frequency of the students’ oral communication ability was 76,63%, (3) the average implementation of learning was 3,6 in good category, and (4) the questionnaire showed that students’ response to Realistic Cooperative Setting Approach inclined to be positive with  percentage 88%. From the result of this research, can be concluded that the application of Realistic Cooperative Setting Approach influenced the students mathematics’ communication skill of VIII grade of SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Makassar.

      Abstract: Abstrak:Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan mengembangkan dan menilai kualitas bahan ajar matematika berbasis masalah untuk memfasilitasi pencapaian penalaran siswa pada pokok bahasan perbandingan yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Research & Development (R&D) dengan mengacu pada model 4-D (Four D Models) yang disarankan oleh Thiagarajan (1974) yaitu Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. Subjek coba dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII6 MTsN Model Makassar dengan jumlah 40 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba terbatas yang dilakukan, diperoleh bahwa (a) hasil validasi bahan ajar adalah 4,71 pada kategori sangat valid karena setiap aspek untuk setiap jenis perangkat berada pada interval 4 ≤ M ≤ 5, (b) praktis karena berdasarkan hasil pengamatan keterlaksanaan bahan ajar yang dikembangkan menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata semua komponen pengamatan keterlaksanaan adalah 1,97 dan berada pada kategori terlaksana seluruhnya (praktis) atau berada pada interval 1,5 ≤ X ≤ 2, dan (c) efektif karena telah memenuhi empat kriteria yang menjadi acuan yaitu hasil belajar siswa tercapai karena 85% siswa mencapai skor 75, aktivitas siswa dikatakan ideal, karena telah memenuhi kriteria batas toleransi pencapaian waktu ideal yang digunakan, hasil rata-rata kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran yang diperoleh yaitu 3,83 dan berada pada kriteria tinggi dalam interval 3,5 ≤ KG ≤ 4,5, dan hasil respon siswa adalah 89,25% pada kategori positif karena lebih dari 50% siswa yang memberikan respon positif. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pada tahap uji coba terbatas dilaksanakan, bahan ajar matematika berbasis masalah telah memenuhi kriteria kevalidan, kepraktisan, dan keefektifan.  :The aim is of this study developing and assessing the quality of problem-based mathematics teaching materials to facilitate the achievement of students reasoning on comparison subject, basedon validity, practical, and effective comparison. The type of this research is Research & Development (R & D) study with reference to 4-D model suggested by Thiagarajan (1974) which includes defining, designing, defeloping  and disseminating. The subjects of this research were the students at class VII6 of  Islamic Junior High School Model Makassar  with a total of 40 students. Based on the results of a limited trial conducted, it was found that (a) the result  of the teaching materials validation is 4.71 which is in the category is very valid because every aspect for each type of device is at the intervals of 4 ≤ M ≤ 5 , (b) It is practical because the observation result of  the implementation of the developed learning  material shows that the average of all observational components of the implementation is 1.97 which is in category of fully executed (practical) or at the intervals of 1,5 ≤ X ≤ 2, and (c) it  is effective because it has met the four referencedcriteria;  that is the result of student' learning is achieved, because 85% of students achieve the score of 75; it can be said, students’activities is ideal, because it has fulfilled the criteria of  tolerance limit of the ideal achievement used; the result of the average teacher  ability to manage learning  is 3.8;  and it is in high criterion in the intervals of 3,5 ≤ KG ≤ 4,5; and the studens’  response outcames are 89.25% which is in the positive category, because more than 50% of students have positive responses. Therefor, it can be concluded that when the limited trial stage was implemented, the problem-based  mathematics material had  met the validity, practicality, and effectiveness criteria.

      Abstract: Abstrak:Penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan kecerdasan emosi dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa pendidikan matematika semester VIII pada mata kuliah Microteaching di Universitas Sulawesi Barat, menganalisis hubungan dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa pendidikan matematika semester VIII pada mata kuliah Microteaching di Universitas Sulawesi Barat, dan menganalisis hubungan kecerdasan emosi dengan prestasi belajar mahasiswa pendidikan matematika semester VIII pada mata kuliah Microteaching di Universitas Sulawesi Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian korelasi dengan observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Objek dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa pendidikan matematika semester VIII berjumlah 31 orang. Teknik analisis data dari penelitian ini adalah analisis korelasi sederhana, dan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan (1) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kecerdasan emosi dan prestasi belajar sebesar 0,594, (2) persamaan regresi yang terbentuk adalah Y = 36,954 + 0,568 X. :This correlational research aims to analyze the correlation of emotional quotient and learning achievement of mathematics education  of students semester VIII towards microteaching subject at West Sulawesi University. The research applied correlational research method with observational analysis and cros sectional approach. The research object is 31 students of mathematics education semester VIII. The technique of data analysis is simple correlational analysis and simple regressive analysis. This research shows that: (1) there is a positive and significant correlation between emotional quotient and learning achievement 0,594, (2) Regression equation is Y = 36,954 + 0,568 X..

      Abstract: Abstrak:Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian ex post facto yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi berprestasi, minat belajar matematika, dan sikap belajar matematika terhadap hasil belajar  matematika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Watampone. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Watampone yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cluster random sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan empat instrumen, yaitu kuesioner motivasi berprestasi, minat belajar matematika, sikap  belajar matematika dan tes hasil belajar matematika. Data tersebut diperoleh menggunakan bantuan program pengolahan data statistik SPSS versi 20. Hasil analisis statistik deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Watampone dikategorikan tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 76,5 dengan simpangan baku 12,8. Motivasi berprestasi siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Watampone dikategorikan tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 73,3 dengan simpangan baku 9,0. Minat belajar matematika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Watampone dikategorikan tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 46,2 dengan simpangan baku 4,6. Sikap belajar matematika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Watampone dikategorikan tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 53,4 dengan simpangan baku 5,7. Hasil analisis inferensial menunjukkan bahwa motivasi berprestasi, minat belajar matematika dan sikap  belajar matematika secara bersama-sama berpengaruh  secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Watampone, dengan persamaan regresi Y =  -39,937+ 0,625 X1 + 0,737 X2 + 0,685 X3. Dengan koefisien determinasi        r2 = 0,702. Dari hasil penelitian di atas, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh motivasi berprestasi, minat belajar matematika dan sikap belajar matematika terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Watampone. :This research was an ex post facto that aims to determine the influence of achievement motivation, interest in learning mathematics, and the attitude of learning mathematics to the results of learning mathematics class X SMA Negeri 2 Watampone. The population in the study were all students of grade X of SMA Negeri 2 Watampone registered in academic year 2016/2017. Of decide the samples it was applied sampling. The data were collected by using four instruments, namely the achievement motivation koesioner, the interest of learning mathematics, the attitude of learning mathematics and the test of mathematics learning result. Data obtained by using statistical data processing program SPSS 20. The result of descriptive statistic analysis showed that the result of learning mathematics of class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Watampone was categorized high with average score 76,5 with standard deviation 12,8. The motivation of achievement of grade X students of SMA Negeri 2 Watampone is categorized as high with an average score of 73.3 with standard deviation of 9.0. Interest in learning mathematics class X students SMA Negeri 2 Watampone categorized high with an average score of 46.2 with standard simpangan 4.6. Mathematics learning attitude of grade X students of SMA Negeri 2 Watampone is categorized high with average score 53,4 with standard deviation 5,7. The result of inferential analysis shows that achievement motivation, mathematics learning interest and learning attitude of mathematics together significantly influence the learning outcomes of Mathematics of Grade X students of SMA Negeri 2 Watampone, with regression equation Y = -39,937 + 0,625 X1 + 0,737 X2      + 0,685 X3 . With coefficient of determination r2 = 0,702.From the results of the above research, it can be concluded that there is influence of achievement motivation, interest in learning mathematics and the attitude of learning mathematics on learning outcomes Mathematics class X SMA Negeri 2 Watampone.

      Abstract: Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penguasaan konsep teorema Pythagoras terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal-soal bangun ruang sisi datar pada siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri Balang-Balang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif jenis ex post facto. Populasi yaitu seluruh siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri Balang-Balang yang berjumlah  204 siswa. Adapun sampelnya berjumlah 102 orang yang diambil melalui teknik simple random sampling.  Instrumen penelitian berupa tes soal Pythagoras dan soal bangun ruang sisi datar. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial yaitu dengan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa penguasaan konsep teorema Pythagoras dan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal-soal bangun ruang sisi datar masing–masing berada pada kategori tinggi. Adapun hasil analisis statistik inferensial pada regresi linear sederhana menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh antara penguasaan konsep teorema Pythagoras terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal-soal bangun ruang sisi datar siswa kelas VIII MTs Negeri Balang-Balang. :This study aims to determine the impact of the mastery of Pythagoras Theorem concepts on the ability of MTs Negeri Balang-Balang grade VIII students to solve polyhedron problems. This study is a quantitative research with ex post facto design. Statistical population consists of all grade VIII students in MTs Negeri Balang-Balang which was 204 students. The number of sampling used is 102 respondents taken by simple random sampling technique. The research instrument was a test related to Pythagorean an polyhedron problems. Descriptive and inferential statistics were performed as the statistical analysis. The descriptive analysis result shows that the mastery of Pythagoras Theorem concepts is within the category of ‘high’ and the ability of solving polyhedron problems is as well. The inferential statistical analysis using simple linear regression shows that there is an impact of the mastery of Pythagoras Theorem concepts on polyhedron problem solving ability of Grade VIII students of MTs Negeri Balang-Balang.

      Abstract: Abstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh pendekatan Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VII di SMP Neg. 2 Srandakan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Neg. 2 Srandakan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan metode Quasi Eksperimental Design dan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Posttes-Only Control Group Design. Dalam penelitian ini teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling. Dari enam kelas populasi, diambil dua kelas sampel yaitu kelas VII C sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan diberi perlakuan pendekatan PMRI dan kelas VII E sebagai kelas kontrol dengan pembelajaran langsung. Analisis data dalam penelitian menggunakan teknik analisis statistik deskriptif dan analisis statistik inferensial yang dibagi dalam dua tahap, yaitu tahap awal yang merupakan tahap pemadanan sampel dan tahap akhir, yang merupakan tahap analisis data untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Hasil uji normalitas nilai posttes kelas eksperimen diperoleh nilai sig. 0,088  0,05 dan pada kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai sig. 0,062  0,05, sehingga nilai posttes kedua kelas berdistribusi normal. Uji homogenitas nilai posttes diperoleh nilai sig. 0,584  0,05, sehingga variansi kedua kedua kelas homogen. Selanjutnya, karena uji prasyarat terpenuhi maka dilakukan analisis statistika inferensial, yaitu uji t. Hasil perhitungan uji t dengan menggunakan uji Independent-Samples T Tes adalah thitung    ttabel yaitu 3,094 1,67469 dengan sig. 0,003, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pendekatan Pembelajaran Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI) berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil rata-rata nilai posttes kelas eksperimen yaitu 77,86 lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol yaitu 69,81. :The aim of the research was to find out the influence of realistic mathematics education the students’ grade 7 toward mathematic problem solving in the class VII SMP Neg. 2 Srandakan. The research was conducted in SMP Neg. 2 Srandakan. The type of the research was experiment with Quasi Eksperimental Design, the research design was Nonequivalent Posttes-Only Control Group Design. The sampling method in the research was simple random sampling. From the six populations class, class VII C was chosen as experimental class which implement realistic mathematics education. Class VII E became control class with direct learning method. Data analysis in this study was divided into two stages, namely the initial stage which is the stage of matching the sample and final stage, which is the stage of data analysis to test the research hypothesis.The normality test result of posttest in experiment class gained sig score 0,088  0,05 and in the control class gained sig score 0,062 > 0,05. Therefore, posttest score in both class in normal distribution. The homogeneity test in posttest gained sig score 0,584  0,05. Therefore the variant both class was homogen. Subsequently, due to prerequisite test fulfilled, T-test was conducted. The result calculation of T-test with Independent-Samples T Tes was sig. 0,003  0,05. Therefore, it could be concluded that realistic mathematics education approach has influence to students’ mathematic problem solving. It could be perceived from the average result of posttestI result in experiment class 77,86 more increasing than control class 69,81.
