Authors:Selim Dursun Abstract: This article is about the impact of domesticthreats on foreign policy behavior. Essentially, the article claims that theinternal threats faced by the states affect their foreign policy behavior. Inthe literature, the impact of domestic threats on foreign policy is generallyexamined in terms of threats to regime security. This article considersdomestic threats to regime security as well as internal threats to stateterritorial integrity. These threats can be prevented by acting in accordancewith the systemic distribution of power in the foreign policies of thecountries. This prediction was also confirmed by the case of Georgia foreignpolicy in the period 1991-2003. In orderto get adequate and quality health services of patients, health workers must besatisfied with the their institution and their work. This study aims to measurethe job satisfaction of health workers, to identify factors affectingnegatively and positively job satisfaction, to contribute to literature andhealth administrators. The study population consists 140 health workers workingin a public hospital in Kastamonu. The study sampling consists 99 healthworkers agreed to participate to study. Data collection tool used in the studyincluded a Demographic Information Form and Minnesota Job Satisfaction Scale.Intrinsic job satisfaction average score of health workers is 3,02 and in termsof intrinsic job satisfaction of health workers (achievement, recognition orappreciation, job responsibility) was determined to be satisfactory. Extrinsicsatisfaction average score of workers is 2,63. Now that this rating is below 3neutral score of scale, in terms ofextrinsic job satisfaction of workers (agency policy and management, controlmethod, relationships with managers and subordinates, work conditions, wages)was determined to be dissatisfied. It is believed to be useful takingcorrective and remedial measures in this issue and review of factors ofextrinsic job satisfaction such as agency policy and management, controlmethod, relationships with managers and subordinates, work conditions, wages bymanagers. Authors:İsmail Kurun Abstract: A significant public policy in Turkey throughout2000s is the democratization policy towards the Kurds and Alevis. Initiated in2004, this policy triggered a prolonged public debate, at the end of which somepolicies were put into effect. Taking this democratization effort as a publicpolicy, this article assesses it, in light of the classification of the regimesof ethnicity developed by Ş. Aktürk, by employing institutional analysis and process(functional) analysis models. The finding of this article is that this publicpolicy has become successful to the extent that Turkey has been transformedfrom anti-ethnic regime into multi-ethnic regime, but not to the extent thatthe government which started this policy has initially aimed.
