  • Leadership, culture and inclusive practices from the perspective of
           management teams of educational establishments

Considering the role of management in the construction of inclusive educational communities, a study with a qualitative approach is presented which objective was to investigate the meanings that the members of management teams of two educational establishments give to leadership and inclusive leadership. These last as elements that favor practices inclusive and promote the development of inclusive cultures. The findings show the identification of the concepts of participation and collective decision-making as central elements of inclusive leadership, emphasizing the centrality of inclusive values in the creation of inclusive cultures.            students

Concluyéndose en que el grado de retención en la memoria musical de diferentes secuencias rítmicas, entonadas y habladas, según la aplicación de tres métodos es significativo en un nivel de logro esperado.ABSTRACT Musical memory is the ability to remember what is heard in the order and appropriate sequence in real or delayed time, in music education it plays an important role, since it serves to learn the different forms of praxis that are developed in the classroom, understand them and remember them; ability that the students of the first semester fail to develop in their basic environment, therefore our objective is to specify the level of retention in musical memory of different rhythmic sequences, intoned and spoken, according to the application of three methods: Dalcroze, LenMus, and Color Sound Ratio. The approach is quantitative, since the research is quasi-experimental, for this the 41 students of the Musical Language I course were taken and we divided them into two groups (experimental and control). The results obtained show that the three methods applied are effective in solving the different combinations of rhythmic, melodic dictation and note recognition on the staff. Concluding that the degree of retention in musical memory of different rhythmic sequences, intoned and spoken, according to the application of three methods is significant at an expected level of achievement.

  • Analysis of strategic planning and its influence on political-electoral
results from the study of the first round of the Chilean presidential
           campaign of 2017

The execution and study of electoral campaigns are taking their first steps in Chile and in a large part of Latin America. Therefore, the analysis of the process and the training of professionals in this specific area is still in its infancy. The current article reports the results of a qualitative investigation that analyzed the importance of the different stages of the strategic planning process of an electoral campaign and their impact on the final results of the first pre-ballot round of the presidential campaign of 2017 in Chile, specifically the cases of the candidacies Marco Enríquez-Ominami, Alejandro Guillier, Alejandro Navarro and Beatriz Sánchez. In order to achieve this, key central themes related to the strategic planning process of each campaign associated with a candidacy were defined and the information was compared with semi-structured interviews granted by presidential candidates, advisers and campaign managers. Thus, the process of analysis and tabulation offers an interesting comparison between responses from different candidates and advisers, which - confronted with the theoretical contextualization - allow the elaboration of a number of suggestions that revalue the figure of the professional communicator and his advisory role aiming to obtain better electoral results.

In the management of municipal governments, access to information and transparency on public investment and budget execution is very restricted, since semi-annual or annual reports are generally accessed with reluctance and limitations, which makes not only effective the social control but also accountability.
