  • Consciousness and Social Behavior of Visitors Tourism as a Culture Cares
           Environment (Case Study Places in Tulungagung District)

      Abstract: This study aims to determine the awareness and behavior of tourist visitors as an effort to cultivate the environment, obstacles faced by the tourism office and environmental agencies, as well as efforts made by tourism and environmental agencies for visitors to care about the environment. The type of this research is qualitative research. The research data was collected with several techniques, such as observation, interview, and documentation. Triangulation technique is done by means of triangulation method and source that is by checking the information result of interview with documentation and observation. The result of the discussion about the awareness of the tourist visitors shows that the awareness of the less concerned tourism-related visitors. It proved less tourist visitors know the dangers of waste in the environment. Tourists' social behavior to care less about the environment. This is evident with visitors littering, and no other visitors are rebuking. The obstacles faced by related agencies are human resources problems, eliminating bad thoughts from visitors, and communal waste generated by visitors. Efforts made by the relevant agencies is to create a work program devotion, appeal, and giving a free plastic bag.

  • The Contribution of Social Science Learning in Creating The Social

      Abstract: Social behavior in talent and nature gift is different for every student’s, either normal child or special child. One of ways in creating social behavior is doing social science learning. SD Negeri 2 ukir is one of schools that is pointed by government of Rembang to be inclusion school. Therefore, this research is done in order to evaluate the social science learning activity, the social behavior of four grade students, and also the contribution of social science learning in creating the social behavior of four grade students of SD Negeri 2 Ukir. The aims of the study are to describe and analyze the process of social science learning, social behavior and the contribution of social l science learning in creating social behavior of four grade students of SD Negeri 2 Ukir. The research method of this research is qualitative approach. The result of this research showed that the social science learning in four grade at SD Negeri 2 Ukir used KTSP and lesson plan which were modified as the students need. In general social behavior in this school is good enough. Factors that student’s social behavior comes from family environment and school environment. The contribution of social science learning in creating the social behavior is teaching the students the value of social science such as honest behavior, responsibility, caring, manner, curiosity, respect and self- confident. The conclusion of this research showed that the contribution of social science learning in creating the social behavior of four grade students of SD Negeri Ukir 2 in general is in good category.

  • The Behavior of Society in Environmental Cleanliness Care on Gemar MTR
           Program in Makassar City

      Abstract: The trash volume was increased in the city of Makassar, that environmental problems caused by the behavior of the society for less care about the cleanliness of the environment. Therefore, Makassar City Government policy urgently needed to resolve the problems. This research aims to describe and analyze the behavior of environmental cleanliness care in Makassar City Society and the implementation Gemar MTR program to forming behavior of environmental cleanliness care in Makassar Society. This research uses qualitative research methods with the techniques of data collection through interview, observation, and study documents. The results showed that the people of Makassar City have a high understanding of the complexity and environmental impacts, so that the people be able to show their behavior of environmental cleanliness with several efforts such as disposing of waste in the provided places, actively participating in environmental cleaning activities, handling and sorting out the waste correctly through the 3R principle (reduce, reuse, recycle). Furthermore, the implementation of Gemar MTR has been running pretty well, through the active performance of the implementer program in the field, so that these programs can positively impact to forming and improving behavior of environmental cleanliness care in Makassar Society.

  • The Impact of The Existence of Generator of Steam Power Electric Toward in
           Sukra Sub-District Indramayu

      Abstract: Sumuradem is an area located on the north coast with the peculiarities of rural communities who work as farmers. Social and cultural relations of the community are built like rural communities in general. Observation in the village of Sumuradem shows that people experience socio-cultural changes due to the existence of the steam power plant. This study aims to (1) Know and analyze the activities of social and cultural life of society before and after the existence of PLTU, (2) Knowing and analyzing the impact of power plant existence on socio-cultural changes Sumuradem. The method used is qualitative method. Methods of data collection by way of observation, interviews, and documentation. Technique of data validity by using source triangulation and theory. The study is located in the village of Sumuradem, Sukra District, Indramayu District. Sources of research data are informants consisting of the village head of Sumuradem, youth leaders, community leaders, religious figures, and the Sumuradem community. The method used is qualitative method. Methods of data collection by way of observation, interviews, and documentation. Technique of data validity by using source triangulation and theory. The study is located in the village of Sumuradem, Sukra District, Indramayu District. Sources of research data are informants consisting of the village head of Sumuradem, youth leaders, community leaders, religious figures, and the Sumuradem community. The results showed that: (1) Changes in social interaction of Sumuradem community occurred before and after the existence of steam power plant which is seen from the social interaction interaction among society, due to new activity. People's lifestyles changed after the power plant became more modern with the level of fulfillment of higher needs. (2) PLTU gives positive impact to socio-cultural change of society. Suggestion of researcher so that society can accept socio-cultural change, but must still maintain the existing culture. For example mutual respect, gotong royong in the community, addressing socio-cultural changes with a positive. The various facilities offered from the existence of power plant, the community must be selective in sorting them to be appropriate.

  • Implementation of Social Studies in The Establishment of Social Behavior
           Students SMP Negeri 1 Brangsong

      Abstract: IPS as an integrated subject in the 2013 curriculum aims to develop the potential of learners to become citizens who have the attitude, skills, and knowledge as stock in the life of society. The purpose of this study are (1) describe and analyze the implementation of IPS education in social studies in SMP N 1 Brangsong, (2) describe and analyze the IPS learning can shape the social behavior of students in SMP N 1 brangsong, (3) describe and analyze the obstacles of the implementation of learning IPS in shaping the social behavior of students in SMP N 1 Brangsong. The result of the research shows that (1) implementation of IPS education in IPS learning in accordance with the curriculum in 2013 by IPS teachers in SMP N 1 Brangsong covers the planning of the teachers covering the study of KI and KD, preparation of lesson plan, materials and media and learning method. In the implementation of learning, teachers use cooperative learning methods and become facilitators for students. Evaluations include daily reassessment, UTS, UAS, UKK as well as student ratings. (2) social behavior of 8th grade students of SMP N 1 Brangsong is good, because it has applied social values from IPS learning in schools such as the value of tolerance, protect the environment. Form of implementation of IPS scores by students such as helping friends, obeying school rules, maintaining the environment. (3) barriers to the implementation of social studies in the formation of social behavior of students of SMP N 1 Brangsong is the not optimal socialization of the 2013 curriculum, RPP format, attitude assessment, and IPS material too much. The conclusions of this study indicate that the implementation of ips learning in the formation of social behavior that is generally social behavior of 8th grade students of SMP N 1 Brangsong in good category

  • The Implementation of Social Education Learning Based on Multicultural
           Education in SMP Negeri 1 Lasem

      Abstract: The diversity of religion, ethnic, and culture that has been owned by the students of SMP Negeri 1 Lasem impacts the social patterns either in school or outside the school. The interest of social education learning is still not enough. One of social education concepts from NCSS is culture. This is really related to multicultural education. The aims of this research are to know the multicultural values in Lasem society, to analyze the implementation of social education based on multicultural education in SMP Negeri 1 Lasem also to know the supporting and obstacle factor in the implementation of social education based on multicultural education in SMP Negeri 1 Lasem. The research method that is applied is qualitative research. The multicultural values in Lasem Society are humanity values, tolerance value, mutual help value, justice value, and mutual cooperation value. Method that is applied in social education learning based of multicultural values in SMP Negeri 1 Lasem is contribution method. The supporting factors are religion factor, ethnic factor, culture factor, the support from local communities, mutual respect and respecting the others. The obstacle factors here are the relationship between students that sometimes get crashed when discussion happened in class, the characteristic of students which are difference to each other, the motivation to study, the understanding of tolerance in religion and the lack of school properties and also the lack of competence of a social education teacher

      Abstract: Pekalongan City is one of a city that has a local cultural heritage which is batik. It makes a necessity to continue preserve batik so that it will keep abreast of the times. Hence, it is needed the role of batik museum in the effort to increase the cultural awareness especially for junior high school students in Pekalongan City. The aim of this research is to know the role of Batik Museum of Pekalongan as the effort to increase the cultural awareness toward junior high school students in Pekalongan City by looking at the condition of students’ cultural awareness in advance, so as to mention any constraints that appear related to the role of batik museum. Method used in this research was qualitative research. Methods of collecting data used in this research by using depth interview, observation, and documents study. The research result shows that the level of cultural awareness toward students in Pekalongan was at the level of cultural knowledge. And the main aspect that directly affect related to the role of the museum in the effort of increasing cultural awareness toward junior high school students in Pekalongan is Goal Attainment aspect. This aspect will directly determine whether the the purpose of batik museum to increase knowledge and education (cultural awareness) towards students can run well or not.

      Abstract: The development of modern technology and information that is accompanied by globalization and modernization has had an impact to the citizen of Kudus lifestye. The changes of Kudus into a cyber-city also affect the lives of adolescents in the Kudus City. It is also affects the use of gadgets in adolescents in the Kudus City because of sufficient parental income levels and demands of the use of technology in educational devices in the Kudus City. This study was conducted in Kudus City because Kudus City is an industrial city which is a religious society and has a program as a cyber City. The purpose of this research is to determine the lifestyle of adolescent users of gadgets in the Kudus City. In addition, this study was also conducted to determine the pattern of family and school education on the lifestyle of adolescents with the development of cyber city in the Kudus City. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with interactive data analysis. The results of this study is the determination of technology on the adolescent lifestyle of gadget users seen from social interaction, consumption behavior and closely related to the pattern of family and school education in the development of cyber in the Kudus City.

  • Implementation of Character Education through Nationality Historical
           Learning in SMK Negeri Karangdadap Pekalongan Regency

      Abstract: The government has issued a policy on cultural education and character of the nation as an effort to form the character of Indonesian human beings in harmony with the values of national identity. The spirit of nationality is one of the character values that will be embedded in the process of cultural education and character of the nation. The effort to internalize the character values of the spirit of nationalism to learners is implemented through the learning process in school. This is the basis of research on the implementation of character education of national spirit through the learning of Indonesian history. The purpose of this study is to know the teacher's understanding of the character education policy, the ability to convey the values of the spirit of nationalism in the practice of learning, knowing the supporting factors and constraints that occur in the implementation of character education. This research is qualitative descriptive and implemented in SMK Negeri Karangdadap Pekalongan Regency. Data collection techniques are done through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The results of the study show the teacher's ability to explain, interpret, sample, analyze and summarize the character values of the spirit of nationalism, both listed in the character education policy and contained in historical learning materials. Based on these indicators it is concluded that teachers have an understanding of character education policy.

  • Social Action of Street Children to Sustain Their Life in Pati Regency

      Abstract: The number of street children in Pati Regency is always increasing every year. The existence of street children who choose to live free from parental supervision, make them have to work every day in order to survive. This study aims to analyze the social actions of street children to survive in Pati Regency. The focus of this research includes the type of street children's work, work patterns, income amount, and experience during being street children. This research uses qualitative approach. The results showed that street children in Pati Regency chose singing on the streetsas their main profession. They sing on 8 - 10 hours in groups or by themselves. Average amount of income Rp 75.000,00 every day. The experience felt by street children is having the freedom to determine life, getting hit by a vehicle while working, and is considered a public bully. The findings of this study are that all actions performed by street children for survival can be categorized into Max Weber's social action theory.The benefits of this research findings can be used as reference for the preparation of strategic steps for the Government in solving the problem of street children.

  • The Nationalism Practice of Chinese Ethnic at Pecinan Bintoro Village
           Demak Regency

      Abstract: Chinese ethnic in Pecinan Bintoro Demak is an Indonesian citizen who should have a sense of nationalism. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the understanding and form of participation in ethnic Chinese ethnic practices. The research method used qualitative approach with data collection technique through interview, observation, and document study. Interviews and observations were used to analyze ethnic Chinese understanding, while the forms of participation used interviews, observations, and document studies.The result of the research shows that (1) Chinese ethnic Pecinan Bintoro of Demak Regency have a unity meaning where society is united without seeing the difference of tribe, religion, culture, and all live together side by side. The family has a central role in instilling the values of nationalism. (2) The form of ethnic Chinese participation is seen from the participation of ethnic Chinese in Kampung Pecinan Bintoro Demak District in several social activities, example salvation in commemorating Indonesia's independence day, and come to mourn when there are neighbors who died. Although for gotong royong activities, the competition on the anniversary of Agustusan is still not so visible, it does not make the boundary wall among the surrounding community.

  • Internalization of Pluralism Value in Adolescents Social Behavior (Case
           Study in Kapencar Village, Kertek, Wonosobo)

      Abstract: Degeneration of pluralism value in some regions occurs due to the difference of  religion. The plurality of religion in Kapencar, Kertek, Wonosobo, does not bring degradation of pluralism value. The aims of the research were to analyze (1) the social behavior practice of adolescents pluralism value (2) the role of family, school, and society in internalization of adolescent social behavior. The research used qualitative method with case study approach. The research was conducted periodically for 5 months. The subject was the adolescents, families, schools, and society. The data collection techniques were participatory observation, structure and in-depth interview, and documentation. The validity test of the data used triangulation of data source, technique, and time. The data analysis technique and interpretation were narrowing the focus, reviewing the data, connecting the finding, sumarizing, testing the finding, assessing the literature, making analytical analogy. The results of the research were (1) the social behavior practice of adolescents pluralism value were prioritizing tolerance, respecting, trusting, and appreciating to the plurality. 2) the role of the family through habitus was giving guidance to the adolescents to choose religion, giving advice to associate democratically, inheriting pluralism value, gathering routinely in spare time. School also internalized habitus such as giving the student time to worship in school, forcing respect and appreciate the teachers, visiting friends, helding open school of feast religios day. Moreover, the role of society in internalization of adolescent pluralism value was done by forming the member of interfaith village government, helding live in event for the adolescents, helding village merti, art, sport tournament, and celebration of big day), interfaith meeting, and helding open house religious day. All the habitus were internalized for the adolescent gradually through life habit over a long time.

  • The Outdoor Study Activity by Utilizing Wonosoco Tourism Village as A
           Learning Resource of Social Studies

      Abstract: The majority of learning activity process is indoor activity in the classroom, it tends for the ability of students that are memorizing, remembering, and collecting information. The aim of this research is to analyze outdoor study activity using Wonosoco Tourism Village as the learning resource and the obstacles. Qualitative research method is using by ethnography, phenomology, and study case approaches. The purpose of this research is to analyze the potential of Wonosoco Tourism Village as learning resource of social studies. The main informants are social studies teacher and 6 students in the State Junior High School 3 Satu Atap Undaan District Kudus Regency. Analyzing data is using Spradley Model by domain analysis step, taxonomy, componential, and cultural theme. The results show that in the preparation step, teacher prepares lesson plan, worksheet, outdoor study place, and time management. Than students prepare stationary, listen to the material, and receive worksheet. The implementation step, teacher explains the material, divides group and gives worksheet, also evaluates and keeps on eye for students, meanwhile students do observation, interview, and discussion. In evaluation step, teacher comes to each group to give the feedback and ask them to do presentation. The obstacle are during the use of teak tree forest, students can not go to forest area deeply so they can not get optimal result in exploring biotic environment, using of settlement and society life, teacher feels difficult in giving attention and evaluating students activity so because they are uncontrollable, also feel difficult in time management and preparation of the object for the learning resource which is relevant with the material, students are also feel difficult to be focus.
