      Abstract: Beladiri merupakan salah satu kegiatan olahraga yang memiliki keunikan dan kelebihan masing–masing. Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) merupakan beladiri modern yang menggabungkan beladiri Muay Thai dan Brazilian Jiujitsu. Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) semakin berkembang dari tahun 2013 sampai tahun 2014. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perkembangan Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) di Purwokerto, mengetahui perkembangan (MMA) di Purwokerto, serta mengetahui motivasi Fighter dalam mengikuti MMA. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian di Core Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Purwokerto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 120, dengan teknik Purposive Sampling diperoleh sampel/informan sebanyak 13 orang yang terdiri dari pelatih dan fighter. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Validitas data yang digunakan yaitu triangulasi data. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini meliputi: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini didapatkan 3 faktor yang mempengaruhi perkembangan Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) di Purwokerto yaitu kesehatan (53,84%), hobi 30,76%), dan motivasi (15,50%). Simpulan penelitian adalah olahraga beladiri MMA di pengaruhi oleh sarana dan prasarana yang mendukung dan metode latihan yang lebih modern. MMA berkembang pesat di Purwokerto karena gaya hidup dan hobi serta motivasi untuk hidup sehat dan keinginan untuk menjadi fighter. Saran yang dapat diberikan adalah meningkatkan publikasi MMA melalui media informasi serta mengadakan kejuaran fighter pemula untuk meningkatkan motivasi berlatih.Martial arts is one that has a unique sports activities and advantages of each. The population numbered 120, with purposive sampling technique was obtained samples / informant as many as 13 people consisting of trainer and fighter. Research data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The validity of the data used is triangulation data. Data analysis techniques in the study include: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Results of this study found three factors that influence the development of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) in Purwokerto, namely health (53.84%), hobbies 30.76%), and motivation (15.50%). Conclusions martial arts MMA research is influenced by the infrastructure that supports and more modern training methods. MMA is growing rapidly in Purwokerto because of lifestyle and hobbies, and motivation to live a healthy life and a desire to be a fighter. Advice can be given is to increase MMA publications through the medium of information as well as holding the championship fighter beginner to increase the motivation to practice.

      Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh jeda/interval pada latihan tusukan terhadap ketepatan tusukan pada pemain anggar. Metode penelitian yaitu Mached subjects designs dilakukan subjek demi subjek dengan perlakuan. Populasi penelitian ini pemain anggar IKASE Kota Semarang. Jumlah sampel 20 orang berumur 15-17 tahun. Sampel yang diambil dari hasil total sampling berjumlah 20 orang. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 23 februari – 30 maret 2015, di PB DIKSUS Anggar, Jl. Elang raya no. 02 Kedungmundu Semarang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode Ordinal Pairing. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji pengaruh t-test. Hasil penelitian ini, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan berdasarkan penghitungan pre-test dan post-test menunjukan bahwa: ada pengaruh jeda/interval pada latihan tusukan terhadap ketepatan tusukan pada pemain anggar IKASE Kota Semarang, kelompok eksperimen 1 = 37,50, thitung=5,22 > ttabe l= 2,26, eksperimen 2 = 51,00, thitung = 13,50 > ttabel = 2,26. Penghitungan data post-test eksperimen 1 = 51,00 dan eksperimen 2 = 63,00 diperoleh thitung= 4,43 > ttabel = 2,26. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilaksanakan, bahwa latihan ketepatan tusukan menggunakan jeda/interval terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan, terhadap ketepatan tusukan menggunakan jeda/interval ketepatan tusukan dengan pengaruh yang paling baik diberikan latihan menggunakan jeda/interval.The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of pause/interval in jab training towards the jab accuracy of fencing players. The method of this study is Matched Subject Design that is performed subject by subject through treatment. The population of this study is the fencing players of IKASE Semarang. The total of sample is 20 people aged 15-17. The sample which is taken from the total sampling is 20 people. This study conducted on February 23–March 30, 2015 at PB DIKSUS Fencing, Elang Raya Street no 02 Kedungmundu Semarang. The technique of collecting data used Ordinal Pairing method. The technique of data analysis used t-test influence. The result of this study shows, there is significant effect based on the calculation of pre-test and post test and shows that: there are some effects of pause/interval in jab training towards the jab accuracy of fencing players at IKASE Semarang, the first experimental group thitung = 5,22 > ttable = 2,26, second experimental thitung = 13,50 > ttable = 2,26. The post test data calculation of the first and second experimental is got thitung = 4,43 > ttable = 2,26. Based on the research that had been done, it showed that jab accuracy training which used interval show a significant effect. For the best effect in jab accuracy training, the trainees should be given a training which used pause/interval.

      Abstract: Permasalahan dalam penelititan ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pembinaan prestasi olehraga bulutangjkis di klub PB Sinar Mutiara Pemalang meliputi pembinaan atlet. Keadaan organisasi, sarana dan prasarana, dan prestasi yang dicapai klub. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh informasi tentang klub PB Sinar Mutiara Pemalang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Tempat penelitian di PB Sinar Mutiara Pemalang, sumber data penelitian berupa 1) Person yaitu : pemilik, pengurus pelatih, atlet, 2) Place yaitu : lapangan bulutangkis. Pengumpulan data : menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian : 1) keadaan organisasi yang dikelola oleh pengurus klub PB Sinar Mutiara Pemalang cukup baik, dapat bekerjasama dengan baik anatara pemilik klub, pengurus, pelatih, atlet dan orang tua atlet, namun perlu dilakukan pembenahan-pembenahan agar peran organisasi dapat berjalan dengan maksimal, 2) pembinaan atlet yang dilakukan PB Sinar Mutiara pemalang cukup baik dan terarah, 3) sarana dan prasarana yang berada di klub sudah lengkap dan memadai, walawpun ada sedikit kekurangan. Simpulan penelitian 1). Program pembinaan atlet yang ada sudah sesuai dan perlu ditingkatkan secara berkelanjutan agar tercipta atlet di PB. Sinara Mutiara Pemalang yang mampu berprestasi ditingkat nasional. 2) Organisasi yang berada di PB. Sinar Mutiara Pemalang telah berjalan cukup baik, hal itu ditunjukkan dengan pengelolaan administrasi baik oleh pemilik klub untuk membantu atlet yang kurang mampu. Namun perlu dilakukan sedikit pembenahan. 3). Prestasi yang telah diraih di Klub PB.Sinar Mutiara Pemalang cukup memuaskan diantarannya menjuarai beberapa kejuaraan di tingkat lokal Kabupaten Pemalang dan Karisidenan Pekalongan 4). Sarana dan prasarana di PB. Sinar Mutiara Pemalang masih menyewa dengan kondisi memadai dan sesuai dengan standar dan perlu sedikit pembenahan.The problem in this research is to knowing how coaching sports achievements in club PB. Sinar Mutiara Pemalang with cover coaching athletes,state organization, Facilities and infrastructure and the achievements of the club.this research was conducted to obtain information about club PB Sinar Mutiara Pemalang. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. The place of research in the NT Sinar Mutiara Pemalang, source of research data in the form of 1) Person is: owner, caretaker coach, athlete, 2) Place namely: badminton courts. Data collection: using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using descriptive analysis. Results of the study: 1) the state organization managed by club officials PB Sinar Mutiara Pemalang pretty good, can cooperate well anatara club owners, administrators, coaches, athletes and parents of athletes, but it is necessary to reform-reform so that the role of the organization can be run with the maximum , 2) coaching athletes who do PB Sinar Mutiara pemalang pretty good and purposeful, 3) facilities and infrastructure at the club is complete and adequate, although there is a slight lack . Conclusions of the study: 1) the state of the organization is quite good, 2) program has been running coaching athletes with intensive and as expected the club, 3) facilities and infrastructure in the NT Sinar Mutiara Pemalang good and appropriate training standards, although still renting and need a little improvement, 4) The government should pay attention to the existence of the club pemalang PB Sinar Mutiara Pemalang in terms of financial support for menamba infrastructure is better that badminton is more developed in pemalang.

      Abstract: Tujuan dari penelian ini adalah 1) Mengetahui tingkat keterampilan motorik siswa kelas III putra SD Aloysius Semarang, 2) Mengetahui tingkat Intelligence Quotient (IQ) siswa kelas III putra SD Aloysius Semarang, 3) Mengetahui seberapa besar sumbangan keterampilan motorik terhadap kecerdasan Intelligence Quotient (IQ) siswa kelas III putra SD Aloysius Semarang.Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif, dengan metode survei analitik dan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini siswa kelas III putra SD Aloysius berjumlah 15 siswa atau total sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk tes keterampilan motorik adalah lari 54 meter, lompat jauh tanpa awalan, lempar bola kasti, dan loncat tegak, sedangkan instrumen untuk intelligence quotient adalah tes IQ CVIT. Analisis data dilakukan dengan statistik deskriptif nilai mean, maksimum, minimum, dan standar deviasi. Uji persyaratan analisis dilakukan dengan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji linieritas, analisis regresi linier, uji koefisien determinasi.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan keterampilan motorik olahraga memberikan sumbangan 53,7% terhadap intelligence quotient.Contribution to the intelligence quotient of motor skills at Aloysius Elementary School third-grade students in Semarang on 2015.Minithesis Department of Sport Science, Semarang State University.DrAniesSetiowati, M.Gizi. This research is a quantitative research, with analytic survey method and cross sectional approach. The population in this study is third grade son students of elementary school Aloysius totaling 15 students. The instrument used to test motor skills are run 54 meters, standing broad jump, throwing a baseball, and vertical jump, while the instrument's intelligence quotient is IQ CVIT test. Data analysis was performed with descriptive statistics mean, maximum, minimum, and standard deviation. Test requirements analysis with performed normality test, homogeneity test, linearity test, simple regression analysis, the coefficient of determination test. These results indicate the motor skills of sport contributed 53.7% to the intelligence quotient.

      Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh olahraga tradisional wok dhor dalam meningkatan kesegaran jasmani santriwan usia 13-15 tahun di Pondok Pesantren Roudlatut Thalibin Rembang. Metode penelitian menggunakan Pre-Experimental design one group pretest posttest. Populasi penelitian ini adalahsantriwan di Pondok Pesantren Roudlatut Thalibin Rembang usia 13-15 tahun yang berjumlah 25 orang, teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling kuota dan memperoleh sampel 20 orang. Tes dalam penelitian menggunakan Tes Kesegaran Jasmani Indonesia (TKJI). Penelitian dilakukan pada tanggal 13 April s/d 16 Mei 2015, di Pondok Pesantren Roudlatut Thalibin Rembang. Pemberian latihan dilaksanakan selama 5 minggu dengan 3 kali pertemuan setiap minggu dan dengan waktu satu kali latihan 15 menit. Hasil dari Tes Kesegaran Jasmani Indonesia meliputi tes lari cepat 50 meter, pull up, sit up, vertical jump, lari 1000 meter, mengalami peningkatan dilihat dari data rerata total nilai yang diperoleh pretest 15,45 dan posttest 16,75 meskipun dalam kriteria sedang. Teknik analisis data penelitian menggunakan paired t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latihan olahraga tradisional wok dhor dapat meningkatkan kesegaran jasmani santriwan usia 13-15 tahun di Pondok Pesantren Roudlatut Thalibin Rembang, karena t hitung > t tabel yaitu 7,10 > 2,09. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah olahraga tradisional wok dhor berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kesegaran jasmani santriwan usia 13-15 tahun di Pondok Pesantren Roudaltut Thalibin Rembang.This study aims to determine the effect of traditional sports wok dhor to student’s of physical fitness of 13-15 years old at Roudlatut Thalibin Boarding School of Rembang. Method of Pre-Experimental Research uses one group pretest posttest design. The population was at boarding school student’s Roudlatut Thalibin Apex aged 13-15 who totaled 25 people, the sampling technique using a quota sampling and obtained a sample of 20 people. Research assays using test Physical Freshness Indonesia (TKJI). The study was conducted on April 13, s/ d May 16, 2015, at boarding school Roudlatut Thalibin Rembang. Giving the exercise carried out for 5 weeks with 3 sessions per week and the time of one 15-minute workout.       Abstract: Cedera olahraga banyak terjadi di kalangan atlet. Cedera ini tentunya akan mengurangi peluang atlet untuk berprestasi. Pada umumnya atlet basket mengalami cedera lutut. Salah satu tanda cedera yaitu penurunan rentang gerak (ROM). ROM mengacu pada pergerakan sendi yang diukur dalam derajat lingkaran di mana tulang sendi dapat digerakan. Massage frirage dirancang untuk penyembuhan cedera ringan berupa cedera otot dan keseleo pada persendian secara umum. Tujuan dari penelitian ini membuktikan pengaruh massage frirage terhadap peningkatan ROM (Range Of Motion) gangguan cedera lutut pada atlet basket UKM UNNES dan PPLP JATENG. Metode penelitiantrue experimen design (The Randomized Pretest - Posttest Control Group Design). Populasi dalam penelitian yaitu atlet basket UKM UNNES dan PPLP JATENG sebanyak 25. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 20 yang ditentukan melalui teknik purposive random sampling dengan rumus Isaac and Michael yang dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok, kelompok perlakuan diberikan massage 3 kali selama 1 minggu (n=10), kontrol (n=10). Diperiksa ROM sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Uji prasyarat analisis menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal dan homogen sehingga teknik pengujian hipotesis menggunakan paired T test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatkan ROM lebih tinggi kelompok perlakuan dibandingkan kelompok kontrol (11,3±2,75;0,06±1,83;p<0,05). Peningkatan ROM pada kelompok perlakuan sebesar 11,30 dan kelompok kontrol sebesar 0,60. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, massage frirage dapat dijadikan pilihan untuk menangani cedera lutut, terdapat perbedaan peningkatan ROM pada kelompok perlakuan dan kelompok kontrol.Many sports ijuries occur among athletes. This injury will certainly reduce the athletes got the achievment. Generally, athlete basketball suffered a knee injury. One sign of injury is decreased range of motion. ROM refers to the movement of the joints as measured in degrees of a circle where the joints can be moved. Massage frirage design to cure monir injuries such as muscle injuries and sprains of the joints in general. The purpose of this study demonstrate the effect of massage frirage to increased interference rom in knee injury in basketball athletes UKM UNNES and PPLP JATENG. Method of research used true experimental design (the ramdomzed pretest-post test control group design). Populastion in this research that basketball athletes UKM UNNES and PPLP JATENG that as many as 25 people. The study sample as many as 20 people were determine through purposive random sapling technique with formula Isaac and Michael are divided in two groups, the treatment group was given a massage three times in one week (n=10),control group (n=10). ROM examined before and after treatment. Analysis prerequisite test showed normal distribution of data and homogenous so that hypothesis testing technques using the paired t test. The result showed an increase ROM higher in the treatment group compare to the control group (11,3±2,75;0,06±1,83;p<0,05).. ROM improvement in the treatment group was 11,30 , while in the control gorup by 0,60. Based on the results of the research, massage frirage can be used as an option the deal with knee injury. There is difference ROM, increase in the treatment group and control group.

      Abstract: Berbagai aktivitas dapat dilakukan oleh mahasiswa dalam mengisi waktu luang, diantaranya dengan aktivitas fisik maupun aktivitas belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aktivitas yang dilakukan mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Semarang dalam memanfaatkan waktu luang. Jenis penelitian yang dipakai oleh peneliti adalah jenis deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan wawancara dan observasi langsung yang didukung dengan dokumen terkait. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu keolahragaan Universitas Negeri Semarang sebanyak 28 orang dari semester dan jurusan yang beragam. Hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa rata-rata mahasiswa menggunakan waktu luangnya ½ sampai 1 jam sehari untuk belajar dan sebanyak 15 orang yang menggunakan waktu luangnya 3 sampai 4 jam dalam sehari untuk melakukan aktivitas fisik atau olahraga. Kesimpulan penelitian terhadap pemanfaatan waktu luang mahasiswa lebih banyak digunakan untuk aktivitas fisik yang durasinya lebih lama dari aktivitas belajar.Various activities can be undertaken by students in their leisure time, such as physical activity and learning activity. The purpose of this study was to determine the activities done by the undergraduated students on the Sport Science Faculty of Semarang State University in utilizing their leisure time. Researcher used qualitative descriptive research type. Data collection techniques are collected by interview and direct observation that supported by relevant documents. The informants in this study were the undergraduated students of the Sport Science Faculty of Semarang State University as many as 28 people from diverse semesters and majors. This study shows that the average student uses his leisure time from ½ to 1 hour a day for learning and as many as 15 people who use the leisure time from 3 to 4 hours a day to do physical activity or exercise. Conclusions of this research on the utilization of leisure time, the undergraduated students used their leisure time to do physical activity in a longer duration than the learning activity.

      Abstract: Latihan fisik berpotensi menimbulkan stresoksidatif.Stres oksidatif yang yang tidakbisaditangkaldenganantioksidanmenimbulkan aktivitas Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) dalam tubuh meningkat.Cuka apel dan ekstrak kulit manggis berperan sebagai antioksidanyangdapat menangkal radikal bebas. Tujuan penelitian ingin mengetahui Efektivitas pemberian Cuka Apel dan Ekstrak Kulit Manggis dalam menurunkan kadar Kolesterol akibat latihan fisik pada tikus putih galur wistar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimental dengan menggunakan “pretest-posttest control group design”. Variabel pada penelitian ini adalah cuka apel, ekstrak kulit manggis, kadar kolesterol tikus putih. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 20 ekor tikus putih jantan yang dibagi 4 kelompok yaitu kelompok I sebagai kontrol, II dengan latihan fisik, III dengan cuka apel 0,54 ml/ekor/hari + latihan fisik, IV dengan ekstrak kulit manggis 29,7 mg/ekor/hari + latihan fisik. Sampel darah tikus diambil dari sinus orbitalis. Penelitian dilaksanakan di dua tempat, pemeliharaan dilakukan di Laboratorium Biologi FMIPA UNNES dan pemeriksaan kadar kolesterol dilakukan di Ultra Medica Semarang. Pengukuran kadar kolesterol menggunakan metode CHOD-PAP.Data kadar kolesterol dianalisis dengan menggunakan one way ANOVA. Hasilpenelitian : Hasil perhitungan delta kolesterol P1 (5,60±24,28), P2 (17,40±17,42), P3 (8±11,34), dan P4 (2,2±7.60) dengan nilai probabilitas 0,518. Uji beda hasil delta kolesterol tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan (p>0,05).Physical exercise has the potential to cause oxidative stress. Oxidative stress that can not be resisted with the antioxidant activity raises Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS) in the body increases. Apple vinegar and skin mangosteen extract acts as an antioxidant that can counteract free radicals. The aim of research want to know the effectiveness of the provision of apple vinegar and skinmangosteenextract in lowering cholesterol levels as a result of physical exercise in the rat strain wistar.This study was an experimental study using a"pretest-posttest control group design ". variable this study is apple vinegar, skin mangosteen extract, rats cholesterol levels. The samples used were 20 white male rats were divided 4 groups: a control group I, II with physical exercise, apple vinegar III with 0.54 ml /head/day + physical exercise, IV with skinmangosteen extract 29.7 mg /head /day + physical exercise. Mouse blood samples were taken from orbital sinus. The research was conducted in two places, maintenance is carried out in the Laboratory ofBiology FMIPA UNNES and cholesterol level checks done at Ultra Medica Semarang. Measurement of cholesterol levels using the CHOD-PAP. Data were analyzed using the cholesterol levels one way ANOVA. Result: The result of calculation delta P1 cholesterol (5.60 ± 24.28), P2 (17.40 ± 17.42), P3 (8 ± 11.34) and P4 (2.2 ± 7.60) with a probability value 0.518. Cholesterol delta different test results there is no significant difference (p> 0.05).

      Abstract: Latar belakang : Penuaan merupakan proses alami yang menimbulkan berbagai masalah kesehatan. Angka kesakitan lanjut usia semakin bertambah setiap tahun dan timbul berbagai penyakit degeneratif salah satunya disebabkan karena peningkatan kolesterol darah. Metode penelitian : Eksperimental yang dilakukan pada 21 lansia Rw 06 Kelurahan Patemon Kec. Gunungpati Kota semarang yang berusia 60-70 tahun yang dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok, kelompok merokok (KM) n=11, kelompok tidak merokok (KTM) n=10. Diperiksa kebugaran (VO2maks) dan kadar kolesterol. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji parametrik T-test. Hasil : Kebugaran (VO2maks) pada KTM lebih baik dibandingkan KM (22,6230±9,01220; 22,4630±7,7246), hasil uji T-test menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan p=0,000 (p<0,05).Peningkatan kadar kolesterol pada KM lebih tinggi dibandingkan KTM (209,6±30,387; 161,6±23,712), peningkatan kadar HDL KM lebih tinggi dibandingkan KTM (47,46±11,91; 44,04±9,078), peningkatan kadar LDL KM lebih tinggi dibandingkan KTM (131,6±25,08; 92,92±23,87), peningkatan kadar TG KM lebih tinggi dibandingkan KTM (152,5±81,789; 123,2±50,299), hasil uji T-test menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan p=0,000 (p<0,05). Simpulan : terdapat perbedaan kebugaran VO2maks, kadar kolesterol, HDL, LDL, dan TG antara KM dan KTM.Background: Aging is a natural process that causes a variety of health problems.       Abstract: Aktifitas olahraga tanpa disadari atau sadar sering dilakukan dimana-mana. Aktifitas ini berkaitan dengan gerakan jasmani, bermain, dan rekreasi. Olahraga rekreasi ialah olahraga yang mengarah kepada aktifitas gerak yang bertujuan untuk kesenangan dan bergembira. Banyak yang dapat menemukan olahraga rekreasi di tempat-tempat wisata, jenisnya juga semakin berfariasi dari yang mulai berpetualangan sampai dengan yang menantang, salah satunya olahraga gateball. Gateball merupakan jenis olah raga yang unik, karena dimainkan secara bersamaan antara tujuan rekreasi sambil meraih prestasi.Tujuan yang ingin di capai dari penelitian ini adalah ingin mengetahui perkembangan olahraga gateball, hambatan olahraga gateball. respon pemerintah, masyarakat, dan faktor pendukung olahraga gateball di Kabupaten Semarang. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif yaitu data yang dikumpulkan berupa kata-kata, gambar, dan bukan angka-angka. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Penelitian dilakukan secara lisan (wawancara) dengan 4 responden. Lokasi penelitian di Balai Besar Wilayah Sungai Pemali Juana. Data hasil penelitian yang telah dikumpulkan sepenuhnya dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian : Perkembangan olahraga rekreasi gateball belum begitu luas dikenal dimasyarakat. Setiap cabang olahraga pasti akan memerlukan perhatian khusus dari pemerintah dengan harapan olahraga itu sendiri akan berkembang dan lebih maju. Kurangnya sosialisasi dan kurangnya pertandingan yang diselenggarakan oleh pemerintah menjadikan olahraga gateball kurang diminati masyarakat. Hambatan yang terjadi adalah dari sektor pendanaan, harga peralatan olahraga gateball lumayan mahal untuk kalangan menengah kebawah. Simpulan hasil penelitian : Perkembangan olahraga rekreasi gateball di Kabupaten Semarang kurang begitu luas. Hambatan yang terjadi adalah soal pendanaan dan mahalnya peralatan olahraga gateball. Respon pemerintah sampai saat ini belum memberikan bantuan dan respon yang baik, sedangkan respon masyarakat sangat baik dan mendukung dengan adanya olahraga rekreasi gateball. Faktor pendukung dalam olahraga ini adalah pendanaan dan sarana prasarana.Sports activities unconsciously or consciously often done everywhere. Recreational purposes to be achieved from this research is to know the development of sports gateball, gateball sport obstacles. response of the government, society, and supporting factors gateball sport in Semarang Regency. research approach is descriptive research that collected data in the form of words, pictures, and not numbers. Instruments in this research is observation, interview, documentation. , The study was conducted orally (interview) with 4 respondents. The research location in the Balai Besar Wilayah Sungai Pemali Juana. Research data that has been collected fully analyzed qualitatively. Result: The development of recreational sports gateball not so widely known in the community. Each sport will certainly require special attention from the government in hopes the sport itself will be developed and more advanced. Lack of socialization and games organized by the government to make the sport less attractive gateball society. Barriers that occur are from the financial sector, price gateball exercise equipment is quite expensive for the middle class down. Conclusion The results of the study: The development of recreational sports gateball in Semarang district is less extensive. Barriers that happens is a matter of funding and the high cost of sports equipment gateball. The government's response to date has not provided relief and a good response, whereas an excellent public response and support with the recreational sports gateball. Supporting factors in this sport is the funding and infrastructure.
