  • Altruismo y empatía en situaciones que implican costos personales
           imprevisibles

    • Abstract: : This current study aimed to investigate the influence of empathic feelings on a risky altruistic behavior of young adults. 60 undergraduate students, aged between 18 and 35 years old took part in an experiment in which they had to decide in rather to give or not raffle tickets to an unfamiliar person, after participating of a gambling game. The tickets were gained after a memory quiz. 30 participants were allocated to an experimental condition named “neutral” in which they freely took their distributive decisions, and the other 30 were allocated to an “emotional” condition, in which empathic feelings were induced, by using a video. Results indicated that the participants’ sex and the experimental manipulation influenced gambling behavior, allowing the participants to be in the “emotional condition”, more prone to altruistic behavior than the participants in the “neutral” condition. Also, the men helped more in a high-cost condition than the women did. These results point that the influence of empathic concern on altruistic behavior in a situation involving risks might be mediated by the sex and the relation between these variables should be better observed in studies on distributive behaviorResumen: El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo investigar la influencia de los sentimientos empáticos sobre el comportamiento altruista de jóvenes adultos. 60 estudiantes de 18 a 35 años de edad participaron de un experimento en el que tuvieron que decidir dar o no rifas a una persona desconocida, después de participar en un juego de azar. Los biletes se obtuvieron después de ganar un concurso de memoria. 30 participantes fueron asignados a una condición experimental denominada "neutral", en la cual tomaron libremente sus decisiones distributivas, y los otros 30 fueron asignados a una condición "emocional", durante la cual se indujeron sentimientos empáticos, utilizando un video. Los resultados indicaron que el sexo de los participantes y la manipulación experimental influyó en el comportamiento del juego, dejando a los participantes en la "condición emocional" más propensos al comportamiento altruista que los participantes en la condición "neutral". Además, los hombres ayudaron más en una condición de alto costo que las mujeres. Estos resultados apuntan a que la influencia de la preocupación empática sobre el comportamiento altruista en una situación que implica riesgo, podría estar mediada por el sexo y que las relaciones entre estas variables necesitan ser mejor observadas en estudios sobre el comportamiento distributivo.
       
  • Autoeficacia y estilos de afrontamiento al estrés en estudiantes
           universitarios.

    • Abstract: Resumen: La presente investigación analizóla relación entre los niveles de Autoeficacia presentes en estudiantes universitarios y los Estilos de Afrontamiento al Estrés utilizados para hacer frente a demandas internas y externas. Se seleccionó una muestra de 126 estudiantes a quienes se les administró la Escala de Autoeficacia General, el Cuestionario de Estilos de Afrontamiento al Estrés y un cuestionario sociodemográfico. Los resultados indican que quienes presentan un mayor nivel de Autoeficacia utilizan los Estilos de Afrontamiento al Estrés Focalizado en la solución del problema y Reevaluación positiva. Por otro lado, quienes presentaron menor nivel de Autoeficacia recurren al estilo de afrontamiento Autofocalización negativa : The present investigation analyzed the relationship between the levels of Self efficacy that students of the bachelor´s degree on Psychology have and the Coping Styles that they use to face internal or external requests. A sample of 126 students was selected. They were given the General Self Efficacy Scale, the Coping Strategies Questionnaire and a social demographic questionnaire. The results show that those students that have more Self-efficacy use the Coping Strategy focused on solving the problem and Positive reappraisal. On the other hand, students that have lower Self-efficacy levels use the Negative self-blameway of coping with stress.
       
  • Acoso Sexual en el Trabajo:

    • Abstract: Resumo: Esse estudo objetivou realizar uma revisão sistemática da literatura sobre assédio sexual no trabalho, almejando analisar as investigações sobre esse fenômeno. A pesquisa foi realizada nas bases Scielo, Pepsic, BVS e Portal Capes de Periódicos e incluiu artigos disponibilizados na íntegra em idiomas português, inglês ou espanhol, publicados no período de 2012 a 2016. A partir das estratégias de busca, foram encontrados 635 estudos, sendo 19 selecionados para análise. Os resultados permitiram a compreensão do assédio sexual no ambiente de trabalho a partir de quatro perspectivas assim como a identificação das consequências e das estratégias de enfrentamento desse fenômeno. A realização dessa revisão sistemática possibilitou a obtenção de um panorama da discussão da temática em foco nos últimos cinco anos, de modo a suprir a lacuna existente desse tipo de estudoResumen: Este estudio tuvo como objetivo realizar una revisión sistemática de la literatura sobre el acoso sexual en el trabajo, anhelando analizar las investigaciones sobre ese fenómeno. La investigación fue realizada en las bases Scielo, PePSIC, BVS y Portal Capes de Periódicos e incluyó artículos disponibles en su totalidad en idiomas portugués, inglés o español, publicados en el período de 2012 a 2016. A partir de las estrategias de búsqueda, se encontraron 635 estudios, 19 seleccionados para el análisis. Los resultados permitieron la comprensión del acoso sexual en el ambiente de trabajo a partir de cuatro perspectivas así como la identificación de las consecuencias y de las estrategias de afrontamiento de ese fenómeno. La realización de esta revisión sistemática posibilitó la obtención de un panorama de la discusión de la temática en foco en los últimos cinco años, para suplir la laguna existente de ese tipo de estudio : This study aimed to perform a systematic review of the literature on sexual harassment at work, aiming to analyze the investigations about this phenomenon. The research was carried out in the databases Scielo, PePSIC, BVS and Portal Capes de Periodicals and included articles available fully in Portuguese, English or Spanish, published in the period from 2012 to 2016. From the search strategies, 635 studies were found, being 19 selected for analysis. The results allowed the understanding of sexual harassment in the work environment from four perspectives as well as the identification of the consequences and coping strategies of this phenomenon. The realization of this systematic review allowed us to obtain an overview of the discussion of the theme in focus in the last five years, in order to fill the existing gap of this type of study
       
  • Construcción y validación de la escala de locus de control
           materna

    • Abstract: Resumen: El objetivo de la presente investigación fue obtener la validez de constructo y consistencia interna de la escala de locus de control materno para madres con hijos adolescentes. Colaboraron de manera voluntaria 765 madres monoparentales y biparentales de la Ciudad de México (M edad = 42 años, DT = 6.66). La muestra fue no probabilística intencional. Se realizó un análisis de componentes principales con rotación ortogonal, se obtuvieron 30 ítems y 6 factores que explicaron el 51.09% de la varianza, consistencia interna = .740. Se realizó un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales para confirmar la estructura de la escala. Los valores de los índices de ajuste fueron: chi cuadrada = 611.528, gl = 356 > .05; NFI = .900; IFI = .956; CFI = .955; RMSEA = .031 (LO 90 = .026, HI 90 = .035). Se concluye que la escala es válida y confiable para medir el locus de control materno : The objective of this investigation was to obtain construct validity and internal consistency of the maternal locus of control scale for mothers with adolescent children. 765 mothers from single-parent and biparental families in Mexico City participated voluntarily (M age = 42 years, SD = 6.66). Non-probabilistic, convenience sampling was used. An orthogonal rotation principal component analysis was performed. 30 items and 6 factors that explained 51.09% of the variance (internal consistency = .740) were obtained. Structural equation modeling was performed to confirm structure. The index of adjustment values were: chi square = 611.528, df = 356 > .05; NFI = .900; IFI = .956; CFI = .955; RMSEA = .031 (LO 90 = .026, HI 90 = .035). The scale proved to be valid and reliable to measure the maternal locus of control
       
  • Recursos del Desarrollo en la Adolescencia - Revisión Integrativa

    • Abstract: Resumo: O modelo de Recursos do Desenvolvimento - “Developmental Assets®” - associa características ecológicas positivas a competências e valores pessoais com o propósito de compreender um desenvolvimento ótimo na adolescência. O objetivo da presente revisão é descrever, analisar e discutir os resultados da utilização deste modelo. Como critério de elegibilidade definiu-se a inclusão de estudos que exploram o modelo de Recursos do Desenvolvimento no âmbito da perspetiva do Desenvolvimento Positivo na Adolescência. Considerou-se a pesquisa de publicações com recurso às bases de dados eletrónicas Web of Science, ERIC, Science Direct e SciELO, realizada entre Março a Maio de 2017. Nesta revisão foram incluídos 29 artigos publicados entre 1998 a 2015. Verifica-se a adoção de diversos métodos quanto à identificação de recursos, avaliação e aplicabilidade. O modelo demonstra ser culturalmente válido, relevante, em diferentes contextos e características socioeconómicas, sugerindo-se a sua aplicabilidade e utilidade como estratégia de um desenvolvimento positivo na adolescênciaResumen: El modelo de Recursos del Desarrollo - "Developmental Assets®" - asocia características ecológicas positivas a competencias y valores personales con el propósito de comprender un desarrollo óptimo en la adolescencia. This review purpose to describe, analyze and discuss results from the utilization of this framework. As eligibility criteria was defined inclusion of studies that explore the framework of Developmental Assets adopting Positive Youth Development approach. Research of publications was conducted through consultation of the electronic databases Web of Science, ERIC, Science Direct and SciELO, during March and May of 2017. In this revision were included 29 articles published between 1998 and 2015. Results show the adoption of several methods regarding identification of resources, evaluation and applicability. The framework demonstrates to be culturally valid, relevant, in different contexts and socioeconomic characteristics, suggesting its applicability and utility as a strategy for a positive development in adolescence
       
  • Espiritualidad y personalidad en el marco de los Big Five

    • Abstract: Resumen: El objetivo de este trabajo ha sido evaluar en nuestro contexto, si la espiritualidad emerge como un factor diferente dentro del modelo de los Big Five. A partir de un muestreo no probabilístico, participaron 186 sujetos de entre 18 y 28 años, de la ciudad de Paraná, Entre Ríos, Argentina. Los resultados obtenidos a partir de dos análisis factoriales muestran que los aspectos vinculados a la espiritualidad y la religiosidad, con excepción de la sub dimensión conexión, conformaron un factor independiente y no redundante con el modelo de los Big Five. Estos hallazgos permiten evaluar el rol de la espiritualidad y religiosidad dentro de una teoría de la personalidad que incluyendo este importante aspecto brinde una mirada más holística en la comprensión de las diferencias individuales en torno a la personalidad humana : The present study aimed at assessing, in our context, whether the previously mentioned constructs emerge as a distinct factor within the model of the Big Five. The study used a non-probabilistic, intentional sample composed of 186 subjects between the ages of 18 and 28 years old from the city of Parana, Entre Rios, Argentina. Two exploratory factor analysis were performed. The results show that those aspects related to spirituality and religiousness - except for the sub-dimension connectedness - constituted an independent and non-redundant factor with the model of the Big Five. These findings, in line with other studies, enable to assess the role of spirituality and religiousness within a theory of personality, and thus provide a more holistic understanding of individual differences in human personality
       
  • Asesoramiento en la perspectiva de profesionales de la atención
           primaria de salud:

    • Abstract: Resumo: O estudo objetiva conhecer e analisar como o aconselhamento em HIV/Aids vem sendo desenvolvido na descentralização do teste rápido de HIV e outras Infecções Sexualmente Transmissíveis (IST) para a atenção básica. Trata-se de estudo qualitativo exploratório, realizado em 15 unidades de saúde de Porto Alegre/Brasil, através de entrevistas com 22 profissionais. Os dados foram submetidos à análise temática e discutidos sob a perspectiva do trabalho vivo em saúde de Merhy. Organizou-se dois eixos temáticos: (1) Descentralização da testagem na atenção básica; (2) Aconselhamento - elementos e desafios. Os resultados apontados foram: a atividade não se apresenta de forma transversal na equipe, com prática centralizada nos enfermeiros; maior domínio na execução do teste (tecnologia dura) e na abordagem informativa (tecnologia leve-dura); insegurança em relação à gestão de riscos e ao suporte emocional (tecnologias leves), principalmente diante do diagnóstico positivo. Um dos principais desafios para a eficácia do aconselhamento é a adequação da abordagem as necessidades do usuárioResumen: El estudio tiene como objetivo conocer y analizar cómo el asesoramiento en VIH / SIDA está desarrollandose en la descentralización de la prueba rápida para VIH y otras enfermidades de transmisión sexual para la atención básica. Se trata de un estudio cualitativo exploratório, realizado en 15 unidades de salud de Porto Alegre/Brasil, a través de entrevistas con 22 profesionales. Los datos fueron sometidos al análisis temático y discutidos bajo la perspectiva del trabajo vivo en salud de Merhy. Se organizaron en dos temas principales: (1) La descentralización de las pruebas en la atención primaria; (2) Asesoramiento - elementos y desafíos. Los resultados señalados fueron: la actividad no se presenta de forma transversal en el equipo, con práctica centralizada en los enfermeros; mayor dominio en la ejecución de la prueba (tecnología dura) y en el enfoque informativo (tecnología ligera); inseguridad en relación a la gestión de riesgos y al soporte emocional (tecnologías ligeras), principalmente ante el diagnóstico positivo. Uno de los principales desafíos para la eficacia del asesoramiento es la adecuación del enfoque según la necesidad del usuario : This articles aims to investigate and analyze how rapid test and counselling for HIV were developed and assessed in decentralization process to primary care services. It is a qualitative and exploratory study, which was performed in 15 health services of Porto Alegre/Brasil, through semi-structured interviews with 22 professionals. Data were conducted to thematic analysis and discussed from theoretical perspective of “living work” in health by Merhy. Results were organized in two thematic axes: (1) Decentralization of testing in Primary Health Care; and (2) Counselling - topics and challenges.   • Sistema de Tareas Diagnósticas y la habilidad lectora

    • Abstract: Resumen: La presente investigación tiene como objetivo determinar la relación entre el Sistema de Tareas Diagnósticas (STD) y la lectura en una muestra de niños cubanos en el 1º y 2º grado. Se aplicaron tres procedimientos: (1) correlaciones entre el STD y la lectura, (2) ANOVA de la Regresión y (3) Regresión jerárquica. Las correlaciones indicaron que las 17 tareas tienen una significativa correlación con la lectura en los dos grados escolares. Sin embargo, el ANOVA de regresión mostró cuatro tareas cognitivas: Análisis fónico, Ordenamiento de láminas, Solución de matrices y Relaciones cuantitativas. En el 2do grado, se destacaron tres tareas: Ordenamiento de láminas, Coordinación viso - motora y Solución de problemas. En el 1er grado, la Regresión jerárquica indicó la importancia de Análisis fónico y el Ordenamiento de láminas por encima de las demás. En el 2do grado, indicó Ordenamiento de láminas y la Coordinación viso - motora. En resumen, las habilidades fonológicas y el razonamiento son procesos básicos que subyacen en la adquisición de la lectura en los primeros grados escolares : The objective of this research is to determine the relationship between the System of Diagnostic Tasks (SDT) and the reading in a sample of Cuban children in the 1st and 2nd. Three procedures were applied: (1) correlations between the SDT and the reading, (2) ANOVA of the Regression and (3) Hierarchical regression. The correlations indicated that the 17 tasks have a significant correlation with the reading in the two school grades. However, the regression ANOVA showed four cognitive tasks: Phonic analysis, Sheet ordering, Matrix solution and Quantitative relationships. In the 2nd grade, three tasks were highlighted: sheet ordering, visuo - motor coordination and problem solving. In the 1st grade, the hierarchical regression indicated the importance of phonic analysis and the ordering of plates above the others. In the 2nd grade, he indicated sheet ordering and visuo - motor coordination. In summary, phonological skills and reasoning are basic processes that underlie the acquisition of reading in the first grades
       
  • Intervención con familias de alumnos con bajo desempeño escolar

    • Abstract: Resumo:este estudo, de enfoque misto e desenho pré-experimental, com pré e pós-teste com um grupo, teve o objetivo de avaliar uma intervenção no sistema familiar de estudantes adolescentes com baixo desempenho escolar, matriculados em duas escolas municipais de São Leopoldo/RS. Sete famílias participaram de uma intervenção e responderam ao Inventário de Percepção de Suporte Familiar e a uma entrevista semiestruturada para pais e adolescentes. O desempenho escolar foi avaliado por meio de conceitos. A intervenção se desenvolveu em quatro sessões quinzenais de noventa minutos utilizando recursos expressivos. A análise qualitativa indicou melhora no diálogo e na união familiar, bem como aquisição de comportamentos relacionados a normas, limites e a organização de horários para estudo, além de uma melhora global no desempenho, dados que foram confirmados pela análise quantitativa. Destaca-se a importância de desenvolver intervenções no sistema familiar para auxiliar os pais a entender a necessidade de participar no processo de ensino-aprendizagem de seus filhos : the present study, with a mixed approach and pre-experimental design, with pre and post-test with one group, aimed to evaluate an intervention in the family system of adolescents with low school performance, in two municipal schools of São Leopoldo / RS. Seven families participated in an intervention and answered the Inventory of Family Support Perception and a semi-structured interview for parents and adolescents. School performance was evaluated through concepts. The intervention occurred in four fortnightly meetings of 90 minutes using expressive resources. The qualitative analysis indicated a greater dialogue, family union and the acquisition of behaviors related to norms, limits and the organization of study schedules, in addition to an overall improvement in performance, data that were confirmed by the quantitative analysis. It is noted the importance of developing family system intervention to help parents understand the need of participating in the teaching-learning process of their childrenResumen: este estudio, de enfoque mixto y diseño preexperimental con pre y post-test con un grupo, tuvo el objetivo de evaluar una intervención en el sistema familiar de estudiantes adolescentes con bajo rendimiento académico, inscriptos en dos escuelas municipales de São Leopoldo/RS. Siete familias participaron de una intervención y respondieron al Inventario de Percepción de Apoyo Familiar y una entrevista semiestructurada para los padres y los adolescentes. El rendimiento escolar fue evaluado por medio de conceptos. La intervención se llevó a cabo en cuatro sesiones quincenales de noventa minutos utilizando recursos expresivos. El análisis cualitativo indicó una mejora en el diálogo y la unión familiar, así como la adquisición de comportamientos relacionados con normas, límites y la organización de horarios para estudio, datos que fueron confirmados por el análisis cuantitativo. Se destaca la importancia de desarrollar intervenciones en el sistema familiar para ayudar a los padres a entender la necesidad de participar en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de los niños
       
  • Cuidado sensible y seguridad del apego en preescolares

    • Abstract: Resumen: Este estudio se fundamentó en la hipótesis de sensibilidad de la teoría del apego que relaciona la crianza sensible con la seguridad del apego. Tuvo como objetivo analizar la relación entre la sensibilidad de 16 figuras cuidadoras y la seguridad del apego de sus hijos preescolares de desarrollo típico, residentes en Quito, Ecuador. Para la medición se utilizaron dos instrumentos: Maternal Behavior for Preschooler Q-set y Attachment Behavior Q-set Version 3.0, en su adaptación latinoamericana. En comparación con otros estudios con población latina, en este trabajo se encontró un nivel de sensibilidad similar al previamente reportado y un nivel de seguridad ligeramente más alto. En cuanto a la relación entre ambas variables, se halló a la sensibilidad como predictora de la seguridad del apego. Al ser Ecuador un país pluricultural, se recomienda replicar este estudio en grupos de otros contextos culturales y con otras condiciones de desarrollo : This study was based on sensitivity hypothesis of attachment theory that relates sensitive nurture with attachment security. The aim was to analyze the relation between 16 caregivers’ sensitivity and attachment security of their preschool children of typical development, living in Quito, Ecuador. Two instruments were used for assessment: Maternal Behavior for Preschoolers Q-set and Attachment Behavior Q-set Version 3.0, in their Latin American adaptation. Compared to others studies with Latino population, in this work a level of sensitivity similar to the previously reported, and a slightly higher level of children security was found. Regarding the relation between both variables, sensitivity was found as a predictor of attachment security. Since Ecuador is a multicultural country, is recommended to replicate this study in other cultural contexts and with other development conditions groups
       
  • Proyectos de vida de adolescentes en medida socioeducativa de
           internamiento

    • Abstract: Resumo: O objetivo desta pesquisa é caracterizar projetos de vida de adolescentes privados de liberdade devido ao cometimento de atos infracionais. Trata-se de um estudo de múltiplos casos conduzido por meio de quatro grupos focais. Participaram dos grupos 25 adolescentes, entre 15 e 19 anos, internos em unidades socioeducativas nas regiões metropolitanas do Espírito Santo e Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. Os dados foram tratados a partir da análise temática, utilizando-se procedimentos sistemáticos para a diferenciação dos casos. Verificaram-se duas formas de conceber o futuro entre os participantes: 1) a partir de projetos de vida vinculados à criminalidade, que incluíam um sentido de ação claro para o futuro; e 2) a partir de aspirações de futuro relacionadas à educação, família e trabalho, mas sem um sentido de ação por meio do qual se intentava atingir tais aspirações. Os resultados sugerem a infetividade do sistema socioeducativo em promover projetos de vida saudáveis.Resumen: El objetivo de esta investigación es caracterizar proyectos de vida de adolescentes privados de libertad debido a la comisión de actos de infracción. Un estudio de múltiples casos se realizó con cuatro grupos focales. Participaron del estudio 25 adolescentes, entre 15 y 19 años, internos en unidades socioeducativas en las regiones metropolitanas de Espírito Santo y Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. Los datos fueron tratados a partir del análisis temático, utilizando procedimientos sistemáticos para la diferenciación de los casos. Se verificaron dos formas de los participantes de concebir el futuro: 1) a partir de proyectos de vida vinculados a la criminalidad, incluyendo un sentido de acción claro para el futuro; y 2) a partir de aspiraciones de futuro relacionadas con educación, familia y trabajo, pero sin un sentido de acción a través del cual se intentaba lograr tales aspiraciones. Los resultados sugieren que el sistema socioeducativo es infectivo en la promoción de proyectos de vida saludables. :This research characterizes life projects of adolescents deprived of their liberty due to the commission of offenses. It is a multiple case study conducted through four focus groups, which had twenty-five adolescents as participants. The adolescents were aged between 15 and 19 years old and were confined in juvenile detention centers in the Metropolitan Regions of Espírito Santo and Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Data were treated by thematic analysis and systematic procedures were used for differentiating the cases. There were two ways of conceiving future among participants: 1) with life projects associated to crime, which included a clear sense of action for the future; and 2) with future aspirations related to education, family, and work, but without a sense of action by which one attempted to achieve such aspirations. The results suggest that the social educative system is infective in promoting healthy life projects
       
  • Construcción de un inventario de inteligencia emocional percibida
           para adultos

    • Abstract: Resumen: Mayer y Salovey (1997) definen la inteligencia emocional como una habilidad para percibir y expresar emociones; para acceder y/o generar sentimientos; para comprender las emociones; y para regularlas. Si bien, desde este enfoque, se han construido distintas pruebas para evaluar inteligencia emocional, las mismas presentan una serie de limitaciones, tanto desde el plano conceptual, como a nivel de su validez y fiabilidad. Se presenta la construcción y validación de un instrumento para evaluar Inteligencia Emocional Percibida en adultos de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Este proceso comprendió: a) definición conceptual y operacional del constructo, b) elaboración y análisis de los ítems, c) aplicación a una muestra de 356 participantes adultos de Buenos Aires, d) estudio de las propiedades psicométricas del inventario. Se obtuvieron evidencias favorables en torno a la validez de contenido, discriminación de los ítems, validez factorial y consistencia interna del inventario, aportando así una herramienta valiosa, tanto para actividades de investigación como de intervención y prevención : Mayer and Salovey (1997) define emotional intelligence as an ability to perceive and express emotions; to access and/or generate feelings; to understand the emotions; and to regulate emotional phenomena. Although following this approach, different tests were designed to evaluate emotional intelligence, limitations both from the conceptual and methodological level still continue. The design and validation of a new instrument to assess Perceived Emotional Intelligence is presented for evaluating adult population of Buenos Aires, Argentina. This process included: a) conceptual and operational construct definition, b) preparation and analysis of items, c) application to a sample of 356 adult participants residing in Buenos Aires, d) study of psychometric properties. Favorable evidence for the validity of content, item discrimination, factorial validity and internal consistency of inventory were obtained. It constitutes a valuable tool, both for research activities, regarding intervention and prevention
       
  • Repercusiones del trauma en la infancia en la psicopatología de la
           vida adulta

    • Abstract: Resumo: Este estudo visa examinar as influências dos traumas infantis nos sintomas psicopatológicos na vida adulta. A amostra foi constituída por 201 pacientes que estavam iniciando psicoterapia psicanalítica em uma clínica de vinculada a um instituto de formação. Os participantes responderam dois instrumentos de autorrelato que avaliaram, respectivamente, a presença e frequência de diferentes traumas na infância, e a intensidade da sintomatologia atual, considerando uma ampla variedade de síndromes psicopatológicas. Os resultados apontam que a maioria dos pacientes foram expostos a adversidades na infância e que diversos traumas passados apresentam associação positiva significativa com várias dimensões de sintomas atuais. Também foi constatado que o índice de trauma total prediz o nível de sofrimento psicológico derivado dos sintomas. Os achados corroboram a literatura que afirma as consequências psicológicas adversas do trauma infantil na saúde mental do adultoResumen: Este estudio examina las influencias de traumas infantiles en los síntomas psicopatológicos en la vida adulta. La muestra fue constituida por 201 pacientes que estaban iniciando psicoterapia psicoanalítica en una clínica vinculada a un instituto de formación. Los participantes respondieron dos Instrumentos de auto relato, que evaluaban respectivamente, la presencia y frecuencia de distintos traumas en la infancia, y la intensidad de la sintomatología actual, considerando una amplia variedad de síndromes psicopatológicos. Los resultados muestran que la mayoría de los pacientes fueron expuestos a adversidades en la infancia, y que diversos traumas presentan asociación positiva y significativa con distintas dimensiones de síntomas. También fue constatado que el índice de trauma total predice el nivel de sufrimiento psicológico derivado a los síntomas. Los hallazgos corroboran la bibliografía que señala las consecuencias psicológicas adversas del trauma infantil en la salud mental del adulto : The study aims to examine the influence of childhood trauma on adult psychopathological symptoms. The sample consisted of 201 patients who were initiating psychoanalytical psychotherapy in a clinic from a training institute. Participants answered two self-report instruments that assessed respectively, the presence and frequency of different traumas in childhood, as well as the intensity of current symptomatology, considering a wide variety of psychopathological syndromes. The results indicate that most of the patients were exposed to childhood adversities and that various types of past traumas have a significant positive association with many dimensions of current symptoms. It was also found that the total trauma index predict levels of symptom-derived psychological distress. The findings corroborate the literature indicating the adverse psychological consequences of childhood trauma on adult mental health
       
  • Algunos enlaces conceptuales entre psicopatología del desarrollo,
           personalidad y evaluación psicológica infantojuvenil

    • Abstract: Resumen: objetivos: 1) analizar conceptos sobre psicopatología infantojuvenil que permitan abordar la normalidad/anormalidad del comportamiento. Se deslindan conceptos de temperamento, carácter y personalidad. 2) considerar donde situar los trastornos que se detectan en el área emocional en la infancia. Se discute si corresponde hacerlo bajo el concepto de personalidad. Se desarrollan teorías de las que han derivado pruebas de evaluación de la personalidad en niños y adolescentes. Se concluye que no hay datos empíricos suficientes que permitan aseverar la estabilidad del temperamento; sería prudente conceptualizar la personalidad como estructura a partir de la adolescencia; en la infancia sería factible enunciarla solo en torno a dimensiones. La comunicación supone una reflexión crítica de conceptos de psicopatología del desarrollo, trastornos emocionales de inicio en la infancia y su vinculación con el concepto de personalidad que se presentan dispersos en la literatura y que sirven de respaldo a la evaluación psicológica : objectives: 1) to analyze concepts on child and adolescent psychopathology that allow to address the normality / abnormality of behavior. Concepts of temperament, character and personality are defined. 2) We consider where to place the disorders that are detected in the emotional area in childhood. It is debated if it corresponds to do this under the concept of personality. Theories are developed from which have derived personality assessment tests in children and adolescents. It is concluded that there is not sufficient empirical data to assert the stability of the temperament; it would be prudent to conceptualize personality as a structure starting from adolescence; in childhood it would be feasible to enunciate it only around dimensions. The communication supposes a critical reflection of concepts of psychopathology of development, emotional disorders of the beginning of childhood and their connection with the concept of personality that appear scattered in the literature and that serve as backup to the psychological assessment.
