  • Interventions to promote positive parenting practices: an
           integrative review

    • Abstract: O objetivo deste estudo foi conhecer e analisar as intervenções voltadas a promover práticas parentais positivas junto a pais de crianças, em situações de desenvolvimento normativo. Para tanto, realizou-se uma revisão integrativa, mediante buscas nas bases PsycINFO, SciELO e PePSIC, considerando descritores preestabelecidos - práticas parentais positivas, intervenção, treinamento - e publicações entre os anos de 2005 e 2015. A partir dos critérios estabelecidos, encontrou-se 12 artigos. Constatou-se que as intervenções enfatizaram principalmente a promoção de práticas parentais positivas em famílias de status socioeconômico baixo, com predomínio da mãe como participante. As modalidades desenvolvidas foram: grupos com pais, visitas domiciliares e atendimento exclusivo à família em serviço de saúde. De maneira geral, as intervenções apresentaram resultados satisfatórios em relação aos objetivos propostos. Não foram identificados estudos brasileiros sobre a temática. A análise do cenário internacional a respeito das intervenções com foco na parentalidade positiva sugere a falta de investimento na promoção de saúde familiar.The aim of this research was to study and analyze interventions meant to promote positive parenting practices, emphasizing parents of children in normative development situations. An integrative review was carried out in PsycINFO, SciELO and PePSIC databases, considering pre-established descriptors - positive parenting practices, intervention, training - for publications from 2005 to 2015. The selected sample consisted of 12 articles. Interventions emphasized mainly promoting positive parenting in low socioeconomic status families, considering especially mothers as participants. The modalities developed were: groups of parents, home visits and exclusive family attendance in health services. In general, interventions showed satisfactory results with respect to the proposed objectives. Brazilian works on the subject were not identified within the investigative databases. The analysis of the international scenario on interventions promoting positive parenting practices suggests a lack of investment in family health promotion.
       
  • Report of early intervention: follow-up of a baby with
           Prader-Willi Syndrome

    • Abstract: A Síndrome de Prader-Willi (SPW) tem origem genética, caracterizando-se por um quadro de hipotonia e distúrbios endócrinos que resulta em dificuldades motoras, obesidade, déficit cognitivo, hiperfagia e deficiência intelectual. Estudos têm descrito exames físicos e laboratoriais para o diagnóstico. Porém, são poucos os estudos sobre intervenções relatando melhora de qualidade de vida desses indivíduos. O presente estudo descreve um programa de intervenção precoce (PIP) realizado com um bebê com diagnóstico de SPW, aplicado do 4º ao 24º mês. O Inventário Portage Operacionalizado foi utilizado durante o PIP, mostrando-se efetivo para avaliação, planejamento e intervenção. Os resultados apontaram para um desempenho satisfatório em quatro das cinco áreas avaliadas, com necessidade de acompanhamento especializado na área de Linguagem. A boa adesão e responsividade materna mostraram-se fundamentais para o desenvolvimento do processo. Acompanhamento longitudinal mostrou-se eficiente e apontou para a necessidade de intervenções específicas.Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) has a genetic origin and its main features are: to experience hypotonia and endocrinal disorders, resulting in motor difficulties, obesity, cognitive deficits, hyperphagia and intellectual disabilities. Some studies have described physical and laboratorial exams for the diagnosis. However, there are few studies about interventions reporting an improvement of quality of life. This paper describes an early intervention program (EIP) applied to a baby diagnosed with PWS, from his 4th month of age to the 24th. The Inventário Portage Operacionalizado (Operationalized Portage Inventory) was used during EIP, showing its effectiveness regarding evaluation, planning and intervention. Results showed a satisfactory performance in four out of the five areas assessed, requiring specialized treatment in the field of Language. Good maternal adherence and responsivity were fundamental for the development of the process. Long-term care was efficient and showed the necessity of specific interventions.
       
  • Marital relationships and long-term marriages in scientific
           literature

    • Abstract: Este estudo teve por objetivo apresentar uma revisão integrativa da literatura científica acerca dos processos de construção e transformação da conjugalidade na contemporaneidade, com destaque para os casamentos de longa duração. A revisão foi realizada nas bases LILACS, PePSIC e SciELO, no período de 2009 a 2015. Foram recuperados 18 artigos a partir dos critérios de inclusão preestabelecidos. Os resultados mostram que, dos artigos recuperados, 15 são estudos empíricos que utilizaram enfoques quantitativos e qualitativos. Verificou-se que não há consenso em relação à definição do casamento de longa duração, e são escassos os estudos específicos sobre esse arranjo conjugal. Destaca-se que tal dificuldade não se restringe à duração de um casamento em anos, mas perpassa a própria concepção de relacionamento conjugal que compartilhamos na contemporaneidade, caracterizado pela coexistência de características tradicionais e modernas, e pela diversidade nos modos de vivenciar a conjugalidade. Essas transformações têm sido atribuídas às mudanças do papel social da mulher e do relacionamento amoroso como pedra angular do casamento. As uniões conjugais passaram a ser entendidas como uma escolha individual baseada no amor, na amizade e no companheirismo. Torna-se necessário investigar os casamentos de longa duração para melhor compreender os processos recentes de transformação da conjugalidade.This study aimed to present an integrative review of scientific literature on the processes of construction and transformation of conjugality in contemporaneity, especially in long-term marriages. The review was carried out in LILACS, PePSIC and SciELO from 2009 to 2015. Following the inclusion criteria, a total of 18 studies were selected for analysis. The results show that 15 articles from the recovered ones are empirical studies focusing on quantity and quality. It was found that there is no consensus relating the definition of long-term marriages and there are few specific studies on this marital arrangement. It is noteworthy that this difficulty is not restricted to the duration of a marriage in years, but permeates the very conception of conjugal relationship that we share in the contemporary world, character ized by the coexistence of traditional and modern characteristics and the diversity in ways of experiencing conjugality. These modifications have been attributed to changes in the social role of women and the affective relationship as a main subject of marriage. Conjugal unions have become an individual choice based on love, friendship and fellowship. It is necessary to investigate the long-term marriages to better understand the recent processes of transformation of conjugality.
       
  • Technostress and its relationships with career, life satisfaction, and
           work-family interaction: a gender analysis

    • Abstract: O presente estudo buscou avaliar a diferença nas dimensões do tecnoestresse entre homens e mulheres, assim como possíveis associações de suas dimensões com a satisfação com a vida, com a carreira e com a interação trabalho-família. A amostra foi constituída por 247 sujeitos que utilizam tecnologias de informação e comunicação no trabalho, sendo a maioria deles mulheres (58,9%). Foram encontradas diferenças entre as dimensões de tecnoestresse em homens e mulheres, em que os homens relevaram maior descrença. Em relação à satisfação com a carreira, com a vida e com a interação entre trabalho e família, foram encontradas associações diferenciadas entre homens e mulheres. São discutidas as especificidades das variáveis associadas em relação aos dois grupos, bem como levantam-se hipóteses explicativas/elucidativas para os achados. Implicações para a prática e limitações da investigação são também apresentadas.This study aimed to evaluate the differences between males and females on technostress dimensions, as well as possible associations with life and career satisfaction, and with work-family interaction. The sample comprised 247 users of information and communication technologies at work, and the majority of them were female (58.9%). Differences between technostress dimensions amongst males and females were found, whereas males showed greater disbelief. Regarding career and life satisfaction, and work-family interaction, different associations amongst males and females were also detected. We discuss the particularities of the variables in both groups, as well raise explanatory hypotheses for our findings. Implications for practice and limitations of the research are also presented.
       
  • Sexual abuse in childhood and their impact on sexual satisfaction for
           women victims in the age adult

    • Abstract: Objetivou-se realizar uma revisão narrativa da literatura a respeito de abuso sexual na infância (ASI) e suas repercussões na satisfação sexual na idade adulta de mulheres vítimas. Sabe-se que o ASI é fator importante na etiologia de transtornos psicológicos, contudo, suas repercussões para a sexualidade adulta são pouco discutidas na literatura nacional. Neste artigo, são apresentadas as principais contribuições da literatura científica para a compreensão dessa relação. Na ausência de relações de causalidade, aponta-se a influência de variáveis mediadoras entre o ASI e a satisfação sexual na idade adulta, tais como: características do abuso sexual, estratégias de coping utilizadas pelas vítimas, emoções e cognições associadas ao trauma, mecanismos de resposta ao estresse e componentes do funcionamento sexual. Implicações clínicas acerca do impacto da vitimização sexual na infância sobre a capacidade de estabelecimento e manutenção de relações íntimas e saudáveis na vida adulta são discutidas.This article proposes a literature review concerning the impact of childhood sexual abuse (CSA) in the sexual satisfaction levels of victimized women. It is largely discussed that CSA is a major factor in psychological disorders etiology, although its implication to adult sexuality has been bare ly discussed in Brazilian scientific literature. This investigation presents the major contributions from scientific international literature for the comprehension of such association. In the absence of causality relationships, the influence of mediating variables between CSA and sexual satisfaction in adulthood are pointed out, such as: characteristics of sexual violence episodes, coping strategies adopted by victims, emotions and cognitions associated with trauma, stress response mechanisms and sexual functioning aspects. Clinical implications for CSA impact on the capacity of establishing and maintaining intimate and healthy adult relationships are discussed.
       
  • Emotional deprivation and its effects on relationships: a psychotherapy of
           an institutionalized child

    • Abstract: O presente artigo investigou o impacto das privações afetivas para o vínculo com as figuras parentais, para a relação terapeuta-paciente e para a atividade lúdica de uma criança em situação de acolhimento institucional. Desse modo, o método utilizado foi de um estudo de caso único, de caráter qualitativo e delineamento longitudinal. Para a compreensão do caso, foi realizada a análise de conteúdo com base nos registros das sessões dialogadas. Os resultados revelaram que as privações afetivas projetadas pelo paciente representaram o impacto dos rompimentos de vínculos, perpassando para as demais relações interpessoais. As vivências das privações afetivas foram traumáticas e, inicialmente, excederam a capacidade de simbolização, não conseguindo o paciente colocar em palavras essas vivências, e, com isso, gerando diferentes fantasias de castigo, morte, privação e fantasia de superação. Através do processo psicoterapêutico, percebeu-se a necessidade de promover o cuidado, a continência e a sustentação, os quais foram possibilitados na relação com o terapeuta. Por fim, através da brincadeira na psicoterapia, houve a possibilidade de um espaço para a representação da dinâmica de funcionamento do paciente e para a interpretação do que se passava em seu mundo interno, incrementando, assim, sua capacidade simbólica. Dessa forma, demonstrou-se a necessidade de estudar o tema, para melhor compreensão do caso clínico. Por fim, considera-se que são essenciais intervenções psicológicas para um desenvolvimento saudável, bem como um maior número de pesquisas sistemáticas nesse contexto.This article aims to discuss the impact of emotional deprivation to bond with parental figures, for the therapist-patient relationship and the playful activity of a child in an institutional care situation. Thus, the method used was a single case study of qualitative and longitudinal design. To make a better understanding of the case possible, a content analysis based on transcript sessions of psychotherapy was conducted. The results revealed that the emotional deprivation experienced by the patient and projected on the therapist represented the impact of such disruptions on early object relations, becoming a pattern to other interpersonal relationships involving the subject. The experiences of emotional deprivation were traumatic and initially exceeded the capacity of symbolization, and the patient was not able to put these experiences in words, generating different fantasies of punishment, death and deprivation. Through the psychotherapeutic process, we realized the need to offer, in the therapy setting, a place for care, continence and support, which was possible through the relationship with the therapist. Finally, through play in psychotherapy, there was the possibility of creating a space for the representation of the patient's dynamics and the interpretation of what was going on in his inner world, thus increasing his symbolic capacity. The need to study this issue for better understanding the case and the therapeutic process was demonstrated. Finally, it is considered that psychological interventions are essential for healthy development of institutionalized patients and, also, that more systematic research is needed to understand the impact of disruptions in the relations with parental objects to these subjects, their families and the substitute caregivers.
       
  • Brief psychodynamic psychotherapy in a severe case of depression treated
           at a university clinic: limits and scope

    • Abstract: O objetivo deste trabalho foi estudar limites e alcances do atendimento de um caso grave de depressão em serviço-escola de Psicologia. Para tanto, foi avaliada a mudança de um paciente do sexo masculino, adulto, com diagnóstico de depressão grave, ao longo do processo de psicoterapia breve psicodinâmica, com duração de um ano (23 sessões). Os instrumentos utilizados foram: Inventário de Depressão de Beck, Escala Diagnóstica Adaptativa Operacionalizada de Autorrelato e o método do Tema Central de Relacionamento Conflituoso. As avaliações aconteceram em três momentos: início da psicoterapia, meio do processo e final. Os sintomas de depressão mantiveram-se estáveis nas medidas de início e final, com piora após as férias. Houve melhora na adequação das respostas no setor Afetivo-Relacional, o que mudou a eficácia adaptativa de Ineficaz Grave, no início da psicoterapia, para Ineficaz Severa, ao final. Os resultados são discutidos considerando-se a gravidade do caso e os recursos do paciente e do psicoterapeuta, em contexto institucional.The aim of this paper was to study the limits and scope of care of a critically ill patient in an applied psychology service of a private university. For such purpose, the change of a male patient, adult, diagnosed with severe depression throughout the brief psychodynamic psychotherapy process lasting a year and 23 sessions was evaluated. The evaluations took place in three stages: early psychotherapy, middle of the process and termination. The instruments used were the Beck Depression Inventory, the Operational Adaptive Diagnostic Scale self-report and the Core Conflictual Relationship Theme. The patient remained stable, comparing the initial evaluation to the final results, and worsened on the assessments made in the middle of the process. Results are discussed considering the severity of the case and patient's and psychotherapist's resources in the institutional context.
       
  • Psychosocial intervention with the adult responsible for intra-familiar
           sexual violence against children and adolescents

    • Abstract: O texto tem como objetivo apresentar um relato de experiência de intervenção psicossocial grupal para adultos autores de violência sexual intrafamiliar contra crianças e adolescentes. O atendimento à pessoa que comete violência está previsto no Plano Nacional de Enfrentamento da Violência Sexual Contra Crianças e Adolescentes, e requer das instituições e da sociedade uma mudança de paradigma, em relação a punir versus tratar. A intervenção se passa em uma unidade pública de saúde, a equipe é formada por um psicólogo, duas psicólogas, uma assistente social e um psiquiatra. Descreve-se uma experiência grupal ocorrida em 2014, que contou com dezessete participantes, e idades entre 27 e 71 anos. O fluxo do atendimento inclui: entrevista individual inicial, entrevista familiar, entrevista psiquiátrica, e as sessões grupais, em número de nove, com duração de duas horas cada. Os temas presentes nas sessões são: avaliação e incremento da autoestima; responsabilização pelo sofrimento perpetrado a outrem; enfrentamento da ação violenta; reflexão sobre a criação de vínculos e intimidade com outras pessoas; presença de fantasias sexuais envolvendo crianças e /ou adolescentes; recuperação do processo de comportamentos que se sucedem antes da ofensa sexual; construção de estratégias para evitar novas situações de violência sexual e elaboração de projeto de futuro de vida. O limite do texto está na ausência de outras experiências narradas em contexto brasileiro que possibilitasse discussão mais ampla. No entanto, busca-se a presença do escopo da interseção de diferentes saberes, como o Direito, a Psicologia, a Psiquiatria e o Serviço Social.The text has the goal to present a report of the group psychosocial intervention experience with adults responsible for intra-familiar sexual violence against children and adolescents. The treatment to the person who commits sexual violence is provided by the National Plan of Coping with the Sexual Violence against Children and Adolescents (Plano Nacional de Enfrentamento da Violência Sexual Contra Crianças e Adolescentes), and requires a change of paradigm from the institutions and society, regarding punishment versus treatment. The intervention takes place in a public health unity; a male psychologist, two female psychologists, a social assistant and a psychiatry form the team. A group experience that took place in 2014 is described, which included seventeen participants between the ages of 27 and 71. The treatment flow includes: an initial individual interview, a family interview, a psychiatric interview and nine group sessions, with the duration of two hours each. The themes presented in the sessions are: evaluation and increase of self-esteem; accountability for the suffering perpetrated to others; coping with the violent act; reflection about bonding and intimacy with others; the presence of sexual fantasies involving children and/or adolescents; recovery of the behavioral processes that happen before the sexual assault; strategy construction to avoid new sexual violence situations, and the elaboration of a future life project. The limit of the text is in the absence of other experiences narrated in a Brazilian context, which would make a wid er discussion possible. Nevertheless, the presence of different areas scope, such as Law, Psychology, Psychiatry and Social Service is eagerly searched.
       
  • Psychoanalysis linkage and preparing children for adoption: a therapeutic
           and interdisciplinary proposal

    • Abstract: O presente artigo tem por objetivo refletir sobre o uso da psicoterapia psicanalítica vincular em um contexto de preparação de crianças para uma adoção. Por meio do relato de um caso, será comentada a utilização desse referencial no atendimento conjunto a duas irmãs encaminhadas pela justiça para um serviço-escola, com um duplo propósito: avaliar a inclusão de ambas em uma família adotiva e ajudá-las a elaborar o trauma de devoluções anteriores. Concluiu-se que a utilização do enquadre e da escuta psicanalítica na preparação de crianças para a adoção demonstrou sua eficiência no sentido de oferecer um espaço para a elaboração das angústias envolvidas nesse tipo de processo.This article addresses the use of the psychoanalytic psychotherapy linkage under a context of preparing children for adoption. By a clinical case, we discuss the use of this thesis in the joint treatment of two sisters sent by court to the school-clinic, with a dual purpose: to evaluate their inclusion in an adoptive family and to assist them to elaborate the trauma of previous devolutions. The conclusion is that the use of the psychoanalytic setting in the preparation of the children for the adoption has demonstrated its efficiency in order to provide a space for the elaboration of the anguish involved in this process.
       
  • Fragility narcissistic in adolescence: the mexican skull as
           paradox of life and death

    • Abstract: A adolescência é um período do ciclo vital marcado pela administração de demandas pulsionais, biológicas e sociais, as quais exigem um intenso trabalho psíquico. A temática da identidade gera momentos instáveis, já que estão ocorrendo ressignificações da conflitiva edípica e é necessário o desprendimento do lugar de criança. Diante de tais considerações, é esperada a fragilidade do narcisismo do adolescente, já que o processo de constituição do ideal de Eu está se consolidando. É imprescindível considerar a linha tênue entre a fragilidade narcísica, inerente à adolescência, e o desamparo evidenciado pelo traumático. Assim, este artigo objetivou explorar o processo de constituição do Eu e as possíveis consequências de um Eu fragilizado na adolescência. Para tal, optou-se por um método qualitativo de revisão bibliográfica e de discussão de vinhetas clínicas, resultando em uma problematização teórico-clínica. Pode-se concluir que falhas ocorridas na constituição psíquica do sujeito adquirem um incremento na adolescência, exigindo um trabalho psíquico elaborativo nessa fase de vida. Dessa forma, a escuta psicanalítica apresenta-se como ferramenta de investigação de complexidades da adolescência, possibilitando a elaboração do traumático.Adolescence is a life cycle's period marked by the management of instinctual, biological and social demands, which require an intense psychic work. The theme of identity generates unstable moments, as the reinterpretation of the Oedipal conflictive is taking place and the detachment of child's place is required. Given these considerations, the fragility of the adolescent's narcissism is expected, as the ideal maintenance process of the I is consolidating. It is essential to consider the fine line between narcissistic fragility, inherent to adolescence, and the helplessness shown by the traumatic. Thus, the aim of this article is to explore the psychic constitution process and the possible consequences of a weakened I in adolescence. To this end, a qual itative method of literature review and discussion of clinical vignettes was chosen, resulting in a theoretical and clinical questioning. It can be concluded that failures occurred in the psychic constitution of the subject acquire an increase in adolescence, requiring elaborative psychic work in this phase of life. Thus, the psychoanalytic listening is presented as teenage complexities research tool, enabling the development of the traumatic.
       
  • Writing as a therapeutic approach for psychoses

    • Abstract: Este artigo tem por objetivo buscar elementos que sustentem a investigação sobre a função da escrita, como recurso terapêutico no tratamento da psicose, considerando por questão central o que o sujeito da psicose tem a dizer através da escrita. Valendo-se do método psicanalítico, constata-se a possibilidade de se movimentar pelas vias de acesso ao inconsciente. Este trabalho é de caráter exploratório, no qual a coleta de dados foi feita a partir da participação da pesquisadora e também coordenadora de uma Oficina de Escrita em um CAPS I, fazendo uso da produção textual de uma usuária, do diário metapsicológico de campo e da escuta singularizada para a construção de um estudo de caso de psicose paranoica. Tem-se por referencial teórico os estudos freudo-lacanianos, bem como autores contemporâneos que nos propõem um entendimento diferencial da clínica da psicose e da escrita enquanto dispositivo de emergência subjetiva. O levantamento bibliográfico e a análise de falas estimularam a compreensão da função da escrita na vivência da usuária da saúde mental em relação a seu sinthoma. Dessa forma, pôde-se constatar que a escrita, no caso estudado, proporcionou a inscrição do sujeito da psicose, facilitando a construção de laços e favorecendo o reconhecimento enquanto portador de uma fala.This article intends to search elements that sustain the investigation about the function of writing, as therapeutic resource in the psychosis treatment, regarding as the central question what the subject of the psychosis has to say through the writing. Taking advantage of the psychoanalytic, the possibility of moving through the access to the unconscious was confirmed. This work has an exploratory nature, in which the data gathering was done based on the participation of the researcher and co ordinator of a Writing workshop from CAPS I, making use of a textual production from an user, a metapsychology field diary and the singularity listening for the construction of a case study of the paranoic psychosis. The theoretical background is the freudian-lacanian studies, as well as contemporaneous authors, who propose to us an understanding of the difference between clinical psychosis and the writing while a subjective emergency dispositive. The bibliographical survey and the speech analysis have stimulated the comprehension of the writing function on the experience of the user's mental health in relation of her sinthome. Based on this, it could be found that writing, in the case studied, has provided the registration of the psychosis, facilitating the construction of links and favoring the recognition as a speech holder.
       
  • Adolescents on contemporaneity: subjective unfolding about
           divestment on virtual

    • Abstract: Este artigo tem como objetivo compreender os desdobramentos do uso adolescente das redes sociais virtuais na contemporaneidade sob a ótica psicanalítica que considera a constituição dos adolescentes na/pela relação com o outro, pela via social, cultural e por meio de processos identificatórios. Para compreendermos essa relação, partimos do conceito de ideal como elemento norteador da cultura, que oferece referências sobre aquilo que deve ser almejado. Nossa hipótese, no entanto, é de que os ideais da contemporaneidade não têm cumprido a função de amparo e a promoção de laços sociais, tal como proposto por Freud (2010c [1930]), e têm lançado os adolescentes a uma busca por amparo na virtualidade, o que pode ser visto de forma privilegiada a partir do Facebook.This article aims to understand the ramifications of teenage use of virtual social networks in contemporary society by a psychoanalytic perspective that comprises the adolescence as a subject who is built on/by the relationship with the other, through a social and cultural via, as well as by identification processes. To understand the relationship between adolescents and culture, we have used the concept of ideal as the culture guiding principles which offer references about what shall be longed for. Our hypothesis, however, is that contemporaneity goals forged by society have not fulfilled their function of performing a sense of security and fostering social ties/bonds, social bonds like what was proposed by Freud (2010c [1930]). Instead, they have thrown them to seek for shelter through consumerism and virtuality, what can be watched on Facebook.
