      Abstract: This research is a kind of Research and Development Learning Cycle 3E Model (Exploration, Explanation, and Elaboration). Results of research on the effects of dosing leaf extract flower moon (Tithonia diversifolia) to decrease blood glucose levels in wistar rats induced by alloxan obtained from experimental studies used as the material for developing interactive learning media on the matter Structure and Function of Cells Composer tissue in the digestive system (Biology, Senior High School, Grade XI, Basic Competency 3.7). The research was conducted from March to August 2016 at the University of Muhammadiyah Malang. Interactive learning media that has been developed consisting of a variety of menus, namely, 1) Title of matter, namely the structure and function of cells making up the network on the digestive system; 2) Present the student competence unbiased KI, KD, indicators; 3) Presenting materials about digestive tools, digestive gland, video digestive process, digestive disorders, diabetes mellitus, and plant Tithonia diversifolia; 4) Problem evaluation; 5) referral sources; 6) The results of the study, and 7) Profile of developers and lecturers.

      Abstract: This study aims to determine the ability of biology teacher candidate (pre-service teacher) in planning science process skills (SPS) based learning. This research was descriptive evaluative approach with document analysis. The population is student of semester VI as pre-service teacher at Biology Education Program of Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto. The subjects consisted of 18 students divided into two classes. The instruments of data collection used are documents are lesson plan, questionnaire and observation sheet. Data analysis techniques used are quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. The results show that the ability of pre-service biology teachers in preparing the learning objectives of 28-50%, the preparation of SPS materials is  0%, the ability to prepare learning steps on basic skills (11-89%), process skills (7-78%) and integrative skills (7-93%), and the ability to prepare a  assessment of SPS (11.11%). The conclusion of this research is the ability of pre-service biology teacher in planning science process skills (SPS) based learning is still low so that efforts are needed to improve with the improvement of learning held in Biology Education.Kata kunci : calon guru biologi, pembelajaran, keterampilan proses sains

      Abstract: Echinoderms are an invertebrate animal consisting of 5 classes, all of its members live in the sea. Echinoderm inhabits the shallow sea to a certain depth. Tanjung Setia beach is a beach with coral substrate and seagrass which is echinoderms habitat. Based on visits ever made, it is known that this beach has many echinoderms. The number of species of this coastal echinoderms is unknown as does its diversity index. The purpose of this research is to know the species of Tanjung Setia echinoderms, along with its diversity index. This research is descriptive research, the technique used random sampling by using the combination of line transect and quadrant.       Abstract: Childhood is the age to know many things, likes to do exploration, egoism and imitate people around him. Therefore, during the growth and development of children is expected parents continue to create and build communication to children. Creating and developing communication with children can be through children's play activities by including knowledge and character education in children. Character education in the family should be done so that children can be protected from acts that would endanger the child's sexual kekersan. Early recognition of the sexual organs in children must also be introduced by: 1. Providing the correct information to the child in accordance with the reproductive device. 2. Provide information in accordance with the ability to think. 3 Taking into account the stage of development and growth of children on the basis of secondary characteristics of children. From the way to continue to build communication and character education in the family in the early introduction of sexual organs in children or childhood in the hope that children can avoid sexual violence behavior.

  • PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN ANIMASI MACROMEDIA FLASH BERBASIS ISPRING SUITE

      Abstract: This study aims to see the effectiveness of using Macromedia flash animation based on the ispring suite on the activity and science learning result of grade eight of SMPN 1 Kotagajah on digestive system materials. This research is quantitative research with Quasi Experimental Design method. The population of nine classes (234 people) of students, class VIII of SMPN 1 Kotagajah, the sample is two classes which consist of class I as an experimental class and VIII H as control class, selected by group sample technique or cluster sampling. The data in the research is the data of learners activity and pretest and posttest (learn result data) of learners. Learning result data then sought N-Gain it. Both data are then analyzed with  Independent Sample T-Test to see the effect, with SPSS 16.0 for windows.The result of the research shows that the first hypothesis is the effect of using Macromedia flash animation based on an ispring suite on learning activity with the increase of learning activity equal to 11,08%, with value of T count 2,079> T table 2,008. As for the second hypothesis, there is influence of usage of Macromedia flash animation based on ispring suite to science learning result in digestive system material, with improvement of learning result equal to 16,15, with value of T count 5,020> T table 2,008. And for the third hypothesis there is influence of usage of Macromedia flash animation based on ispring suite to activity and learning result, with value of F count 4,322> F table 4.03 for learning activity and F count 25,200> F table 4,03 for learning result. Thus, this research can be concluded that there is the influence of usage of Macromedia flash animation based on ispring suite to activity and learning result of class VIII I of  SMPN 1 Kotagajah.Kata kunci: Animasi macromedia flash berbasis ispring suite, Aktivitas belajar, Hasil belajar

      Abstract: The high number of cases and the incidence of DHF in endemic areas led to many prevention efforts being undertaken. One of the prevention efforts against mosquito bites is using spray (spray), mosquito coil (coil) and using mosquito coil. Repellent which is widely used by society to refuse is synthetic repellent which is the result of synthesis in the laboratory. Given the use of synthetic repellent raises many negative effects, may be necessary. The development of flower-based repellent (Tagetes erecta) which functioned as anti-mosquito has not existed. The aims of this research is to know the potential of Tagetes extract as anti-mosquito Aedes aegypti which are safe and friendly environment. This research was conducted at Integrated Science Laboratory of University Muhammadiyah Metro. This study was experimental and used a Completely Randomized Design (RAL), with 3 variations of 0% concentration (as a negative control), positive control using market repellents, 1st treatment with 6% concentration, 2nd treatment with concentration 8 %, and third treatment with concentration 10. A number of replicates 3 times. The number of Aedes mosquitoes in each and the control of 10 tails. Anova Non-Parametric 1 lane trials to strengthen the difference between 3 groups of data or more coming from 1 independent variable with position, rank, or ordinal position data. The data obtained were also analyzed using the Power Protection formula. The results showed that the protection power at 10% concentration of 88.86%, while the lowest protection at 6% concentration of 47.76%. This research needs to be developed further by using different solvent and extraction methods to know the strength of its protection against Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. The output of this research is product repellent drug, textbook, poster and journal publication.Kata kunci : bunga tahi kotok (Tagetes erecta), repellent, Aedes aegypti

The research design uses correlational expost facto with quantitative approach. Sample 56 students. Creativity (X1) and visual, auditory, and kinesthetic (X2) learning styles (X2), and biological cognitive learning outcomes (Y) as dependent variables. Methods of data collection using closed questionnaire and rating with Likert scale. Performed content validation in the form of instrument grille. Correlation analysis techniques, simple regression and multiple regression, and partial correlation. Results of research 1) there is no significant relationship between creativity with biological cognitive learning outcomes. Shown with the value of r-count (0.113) <r-table (0,266); 2) there is no significant relationship between learning styles and biological cognitive learning outcomes. Shown with the value of r-count  (0,085) <r-table (0,266). The dominant learning style of the students of Class XI IPA SMA N 5 Metro is visual number of learners 28 (50%), auditorial 17 (30,36%) learners and kinesthetic with number of learners 11 (19,64%); (3) there is no influence between creativity and learning style on biological cognitive learning outcomes with R3 = 0.128. Reinforced by seeing the Significance value of 0.266> from 0.05.Kata kunci: Kreativitas, Gaya Belajar, Hasil Belajar (kognitif)

      Abstract: Koi fish (Cyprinus carpio haematopterus) is one type of ornamental fish. Koi fish that have beautiful colors and shapes and bright can be high selling value. Color is one of the reasons for ornamental fish demand by the community. Koi fish can not produce their own color pigments to enhance the beauty of their skin. The effort made to obtain color enhancement is to add a pigment source to the feed, for example, Carrot Flour and Pumpkin. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of carrot flour mixture (Daucus carota D) and pumpkin flour (Cucurbita moshata L) to Koi fish color. The study used Completely Randomized Design (RAL) with four treatments and three replications. Treatment 1 (P0) with pelleting, Treatment 2 (P1), combination between the pellet and 30% Carrot flour. P2 is a combination of pellet and 30% pumpkin flour. P3 is a combination of 30% pellets and 70% yellow pumpkin flour and Carrots with a ratio of 1: 1. Parameters in this study include color change, fish growth, and water quality. The research was conducted for 30 days with 2 observations, namely the 15th and 30th days. The results of the research were tested using the Analysis of Variety Sidik (ANSIRA). If there is a difference between median treatment values, then proceed with DMRT test to know the best treatment. The result of ANSIRA test showed that there was a significant effect on the addition of carrot and pumpkin flour to the increase of Koi fish color. DMRT test results showed that at day 15 there was no difference in treatment effect between P1, P2, and P3. On the 30th day, P3 showed the best effect.Kata kunci: Cyprinus carpio haematopterus , Ikan Koi, Cucurbita moschata D, Daucus carota L, Peningkatan Warna.

      Abstract: The nutritional quality of yardlong beans is determined from the environment in which the food is grown. The contaminated environmental conditions will affect the nutritional quality of yardlong beans. Food processing before consumption is expected to reduce the impact of heavy metal accumulation on yardlong beans. The purpose of this study was to find out the appropriate method of food processing to reduce heavy metal content but still maintain the nutritional value of yardlong beans which is grown in potentially polluted environments. The research method was experiment with processed the yardlong beans that have been washed 3 times by steaming (BW3), boiled (CW3) and pan-fried (DW3) compared to washed food 3 times without being processed (AW3). Based on the results of the research that steaming method is the best method because it can reduce the heavy metal content but can still maintain the levels of vitamin A, protein and vitamin C in yardlong beans.
