      Abstract: This study aims to produce a valid,pratical and effective student worksheet (LKPD) based on Android applications for short writing material in Indonesia language learning. Development research was designed using research methods of modification and collaboration development theory proposed by Jolly Bolitho,Dick,Carey and Carey (2005). This LKPD frame work consists of the homepage menu, material, traning,assessment criteria, and development. To obtain information on the feasibility of the LKPD, expert validation was carried out covering aspects of material, language, and media feasibility. To test the practicality of LKPD, one on one and small group trials were conducted with data collection techniques through questionnaires. Finally, to find out the effective of LKPD field trials were carried out through experiments with data collection techniques using tests. Based on data analysis,it can be concluded that the LKPD writing short stories developed very valid is very practical and very effective as a learning facility for students. The resulting LKPD can be used as teaching materials to improve the quality of the process and learning out comes of writing short stories.

      Abstract: The aim of the research are describe (1) influence of the author background in the novel Sirkus Pohon by Andrea Hirata; (2) readers response to novel Sirkus Pohon by Andrea Hirata; (3) character education value of the novel Sirkus Pohon by Andrea Hirata: (4) relevance novel Sirkus Pohon by Andrea Hirata with literature education in junior high school.This research is qualitative descriptive research and the method used contents analysis. The research approach used sociological approach of literature and literary reception. The results are (1) influences of the author backgrouds which are social culture, family, education and profesion, and author religion; (2) the response of readers of the novel Sirkus Pohoninclude ideal readers dan ordinary readers. The ideal readers category argue that the novel contains many lessons that can be learned for the readers so its worth reading. Theordinary readers state that the novel is a good and interesting novel. (3) value character education of novel Sirkus Pohon by Andrea Hirata are religious, hardwork, sosial care, and responsible: (4) relevance novel Sirkus Pohon by Andrea Hirata with learning literature in junior high school are comformity guidelines for evaluating enrichment tekxbooks from department of education and culture Indonesia.

      Abstract: The objectives of this research are to describe 1) the use of style in the poetry collection book of Kuajak Kau ke Hutan dan Tersesat Berdua by Boy Candra, 2) the use diction in the poetry collection book of Kuajak Kau ke Hutan dan Tersesat Berdua by Boy Candra, and 3) relevance between in the poetry collection book of Kuajak Kau ke Hutan dan Tersesat Berdua with poetry writing in grade 10 th Senior High School.This research used a purposive sampling techniques. In this research, the qualitative descriptive method used by the stylistics was used to describe the use language styles and diction. The source of this research data is a text document. Data collection technique in the form of interactive data analysis. The validaty data used the trianggulation data.The result show that (1) the use of language style found in the books Kuajak Kau ke Hutan dan Tersesat Berdua is comparative, affirmations, and contradictions language style. The most dominant language style is comparative language style of metaphor, (2) the use diction found in the poetry collection book is connotative and denotative. The most dominant of diction is konotative, and (3) The poetry collection book can be relevance as the teaching material for poetry writing in grade 10 th Senior High School.

      Abstract: This aims of this research are to describe and explain: (1) the intellectual elements which contained in Athirah novel created by Alberthiene Endah, (2) psychological characteristics of the main characters in the Athirah created by Alberthiene Endah, (3) character education values in the Athirah created by Alberthiene Endah, and (4) the relevance of Athirah as a literature learning material in high school. This research is a kind of qualitative descriptive research using a psychology literary approach. The research was conducted from January 2017 to June 2019. The source of the data is Alberthiene Endah's novel named Athirah. Other main sources of data were used, are theory books and journals. This study used a purposive sampling technique. The validity of the data was tested using data source triangulation techniques, and expert judgment, while the data collection techniques used document analysis and interviews. Data analysis used an interactive analysis model which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the results of data analysis, the Athirah novel by Alberthiene Endah, there was an attachment between elements of the theme, plot or plot, character and characterization, setting and setting, point of view and mandate. The characteristics of the Athirah novel by Alberthiene Endah are divided into id, ego, and superego. Athirah novels contain a lot of high-value and relevant character education content for literary learning material in high school.

      Abstract: This study aims to describe the structural error of the text and language of the observation report of the seventh grade students of SMP Kristen 1 Surakarta. This study is a qualitative descriptive study with a sample of observational reports from students of SMP Kristen 1 Surakarta. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling.Data collection techniques used were document analysis and in-depth interviews. The analysis technique used is flow analysis because the data analyzed is unchanging, which includes data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing. The conclusions of this study are as follows. The first mistakes found in student corals include text structure errors, paragraph errors, sentence errors, word choice errors, and spelling mistakes. The two errors that occur in the student observation report are due to several factors including: lack of writing practice, lack of interest in reading, lack of understanding of the rules of writing in Indonesian.

      Abstract: This research is descriptive qualitative research with approach of sociology of literature. Data collection techniques used in this study are document analysis techniques and interviews. Data validity uses data triangulation and source triangulation. Data analysis using interactive analysis method with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that (1) the author's most dominant social setting influences the creation of literary works, namely the educational background and the profession of the author. (2) The description of the community reflected in the ACIM includes: stunting in life, issues of tolerance, doubts about defending the homeland, the dissolution of national language, cultural issues, and the phenomenon of early marriage. (3) the response of ACIM readers states that this anthology is interesting in terms of the language, theme and background of the formation of two state anthologies. (4) the values of character contained in ACIM include; religious, responsibility, hard work, respect, polite, ecological, nationalist, and action oriented. (5) ACIM can be used as a literary teaching material in high schools in accordance with the basic competencies (KD) of short stories, this anthology can also be used as literary learning material in terms of aspects of language, psychology, and cultural background.

The result of this research is finding the form of internal code transfer: (1) switch code from Indonesian to Javanese (2) switch code from Java to Indonesian language. The form of external codes is found: (1) switch code from Indonesian to foreign (English) (2) switch code from Indonesian to foreign (Arabic). From the research results found: 1) mix the word tangible code, 2) mix the tangible code phrase, 3) mix the tangible code clause, 4) mixed tangible code of the word. Factors that influence the use of code transfers include: 1) speakers, 2) speaking partners, 3) presence of third persons, 4) subject, 5) to arouse sense of humor, 6) to be prestigious. Critical factors include: 1) speaker and personal speaker, 2) talk partner, 3) residence and time of conversation, 4) speech mode, 5) topic, 6) function and purpose, 7) variety and level speak the language. The functions of code transfer and code interfacing include: 1) clarifying and clarifying statements, 2) quoting other people's conversations, 3) avoiding rough and smooth forms.

This research is a qualitative descriptive research with source data from act of speech that occurred during the Indonesian language learning took place SMP Muhammadiyah Gatak, Sukoharjo. Sampling technique of this research using purposive sampling. Technique of data validity test that used is triangulation data source and triangulation theory.The results of this research are 1) 296 politeness speeches found, obey the taxt maxim, generosity maxim, approbation maxim, modesty maxim, agreement maxim, and sympathy maxim, 2) 48 disloyalty speeches found, breaking taxt maxim, generosity maxim, and modesty maxim, 3) Marks of politeness found that ask and appeal to partner of speak without coercion and not offensive; beg the partner of speak without coercion and not offensive; also has responded positively to the partner of speak; 4) Marks of disloyalty found that critizing by using negatif diction intonation and unable to control emotions; opinion with an offensive opinion to partner of speak; and also cut off tge conversation with partner of speak.

      Abstract: This study aims to describe and explain (1) the form of local wisdom in the novel Dawuk by Mahfud Ikhwan; and (2) the relevance of Mahfud Ihkwan's Dawuk novel as a literature learning material in high school. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using a literary anthropology approach. The anthropological approach to literature is used to analyze the form of local wisdom in the novel Dawuk. The sampling technique is done using purposive sampling. Data collection techniques are carried out by content analysis or documents and interviews. The data analysis technique in this study uses an interactive analysis model. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the form of local wisdom in the Dawuk novel includes life tools, livelihoods, social systems, language systems, arts, knowledge systems, and religious systems; and (2) Dawuk's novel by Mahfud Ikhwan is relevant as literature learning material in high school for class XII with basic competencies (KD), among others: (a) interpreting the author's view of life in a novel that is read; and (b) analyze the content and language of the novel. Novel Dawuk is also relevant because it has fulfilled three novel selection criteria, namely language, student psychology, and student cultural background.

      Abstract: The purpose of this research is to describe; (1) inner conflict experienced by the main character in the novel Burung-Burung Manyar by Y.B. Mangunwijaya; (2) the values of character education in the novel Burung-Burung Manyar by Y.B. Mangunwijaya; and (3) the relevance of the novel Burung-Burung Manyar by Y.B. Mangunwijaya in the learning of literary appreciation in senior high school.This research applied descriptive qualitative method with the approach of literature psychology. The assessment of inner conflict was done with the psychoanalysis theory by Sigmund Freud. The data of this research were collected from the quotes in the novel Burung-Burung Manyar by Y.B. Mangunwijaya and the information from teachers. The research subjects taking was done with purposive sampling technique. The technique of data collection for this research is content analysis and interview. The validity test used triangulation of data sources and triangulation method. The flow technique is applied to analyze the data.This research reveals that there are id, ego, and superego that affect character personality. The imbalance among id, ego and superego cause inner conflict. The values of character education appear in the novel are religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, independent, curiosity, national spirit, patriotism, acknowledge achievement, friendly/communicative, social care and responsible. This novel is relevant to the instructional purpose that must be achieved from the aspect of content, presentation, language, and graphic.

      Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe: (1) use of diction in public service advertisements on the radio, (2) use of the style language public service advertisements on the radio, and (3) the relevance of the study with teaching material in junior high school. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. The data source in this research is the recorded public service announcements that were broadcast by radio Gesma. Sampling using a purposive sampling. Engineering data collection using the technique, refer to the record, record, and in-depth interviews. The validity of this research data using triangulation of data sources and theories. This research data analysis using the method of Flow Model of Analysis. The results of the analysis of the findings regarding the use of diction and style of advertising language is described as follows. The first use of diction public service advertisements on the radio is dominated by the word gaul. The use of the words based on the context of the speech, target audience, purpose and message delivery information the ad with an interesting language and communicative, and easily understood by the audience. Second, the use of stylistic rhetoric dominates the results. The use of stylistic variation, giving a characteristic flavor, and the value on ads aired. Third, the research results in the form of diction and style of language in public service advertisements on the radio can be direlevansikan on a language learning curriculum revision in 2013 Indonesia junior high school class VIII.

The research method used is qualitative research method with document analysis technique. The sample of the research is the writing of official letter of grade XII of SMA YPK Tabernakel Nabire. Sampling technique with purposive sampling technique. Source of data used in the form of the result of writing official letter of class XII students of YPK School Tabernakel Nabire. The result of this research is description about error of usage of Indonesian language in writing of official letter: mistake of language in writing of official letter there are 2 factors that is, morphology factor of syntax and spelling factor. The form of the language error is: 1) the error of writing letterhead, 2) writing letter address errors, 3) misconduct writing, 4) raw writing error, 5) mistakes writing date of letter making, 6) mistake of writing of opening letter, 7) mistake of the contents of the letter, 8) error writing letter number. 9) mistake writing address of letter agency, 10) mistake of writing cover letter. Based on the results of the study declared that the ability of writing official letters to students is still low. Improvements that can be taken is to improve the internal and external processes in learning Indonesian especially writing materials on YPK high school students Tabernakel Nabire.

Based on the data analysis, the results of the research conclude as follows: (1) the structure of Wasripin and Satinah novels by Kuntowijoyo covering themes, plot, characterization and character, interrelated background and point of view (2) character education values contained in novel Wasripin and Satinah is 15, that is religious, honest, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, love homeland, friendship / communicative, peace loving, caring environment, social care and responsibility, (3) Wasripin and Satinah novels are relevant as literary teaching materials in high school because they meet the eligibility criteria of non-text book personality aspects of the material and presentation of the material.

      Abstract: There are many strategies in the use of language for specific purposes by euphemisms and it found also in the newspaper Solopos primarily on the topic of politics. The purpose of this study is to describe and explain: (1) the form of the use of euphemisms in the daily newspaper Solopos Edition April 2018, (2) the function of the use of euphemisms in the news daily newspaper Solopos Edition April 2018, (3) its relevance text learning material against anecdote at the high school. This research is qualitative research with the source data comes from the text of the news on the news in the newspaper Solopos. This research uses sampling purposive sampling and analysis techniques using a flowing or flow model of analyzing in analyzing the data. The results of this research are (1) Found 8 forms a euphemism that is, a euphemism in the form of loan words, euphemism be unfamiliar terms, a euphemism in the form of metaphor, euphemism be figurative expressions, euphemisms in the form of an acronym, abbreviation, in the form of euphemism in the form of one word for another word, and euphemisms in the form of paraphrasing; (2) the function of the use of euphemisms in the daily newspaper Solopos April 2018 is for politeness, obscure meaning, not to offend or cause conflict, reducing shame, mentioning the title of education, mentioning religious terms, and to keep secret things.

Because in addition to the collection of short stories that have a beautiful but easy to understand language style, the collection of short stories also have a different theme from one work to another, and in accordance with the subjects of Indonesian language, literary learning, especially the appreciation of short stories in high school.

  • HUBUNGAN PENGUASAAN KOSAKATA DAN KEBIASAAN MEMBACA DENGAN KETERAMPILAN

      Abstract: This research is a correlation that aims to know (1) the correlation of vacabukary mastery with exposition text writing skills; (2) the correlation of reading habit with exposition text writing skills; (3) the correlation of vacabukary mastery and reading habit together with exposition text writing skills. The sample of this research are 128 students or 28% from 446 students, the total of population. The sampling technique that used is cluster random sampling. The data were collected using test method ang questionnaire. The rewuirements analysis that used is normality test. Meanwhile the data analysis that used are correlation (simple and double) and regression. The results of this study are: 1) positive and significant relationship of vocabulary mastery with the skills of writing exposition text shown with ry1 correlation coefficient of 0.45; 2) there is a positive and significant correlation of reading habits with expository text writing skills shown with ry2 correlation coefficient of 0.67;  3) there is a positive and significant relationship of mastery of vocabulary and reading habits together with the skills of writing expositional texts on the class students shown by the value of Ry.12 of 0.73 and the coefficient of determination of 0.53. Thus X1 Mastery of Vocabulary and X2 Reading Habits together contributes 53% to the skill of writing exposition texts

      Abstract: This research aims to describe (1) the choice of words;  (2) language style; (3) imagery; and (4) its relevance towards Bahasa Indonesia learning process in high school regarding to “Putri Kuninang-Kunang” novel written by Titi Setiyoningsih. This study counts as qualitative reasearch using a novel entitled “Putri Kunang-Kunang” written by Titi Setiyoningsih, and the informants including teachers and students as the source of data. This research not only observed and recorded the choice of words, diction, and imagery  as the data but also combined the data with the informants statements to get the whole data. The technique took purpose sampling as the technique. The validity data was tested using triangulation method. The flowing analysis were chosen to analyse the whole data through the data reduction, the data presentation, and the conclusion. The result found that: (1) Dictions; there were 13 words related to personal characteristics, 2 grossier words, 12 loanwords, 6 nature reality words; (2) Language style or figurative language; there were 2 similes, 4 metaphores, 10 personifications, 2 pleonasms, 6 hyperboles, 1 satires, 2 paradox, 1 ironi, 2 sinism, 4 saracasms, 1 metonymy; (3) Imagery; there were 14 visual imagery, 8 auditory imagery, 4 olfactory imagery, 2 gustatory imagery, 17 movement imagery, and 4 touch imagery. The amount of the imagery had various numbers depends on its imagery. (4) The Novel entitled “Putri Kunang-Kunang” connected to Bahasa Indonesia learning process in High School as a teaching material of literary (novel) appreciation.

      Abstract: This study aims to describe: (1) the forms of misuse of spelling on official letters in and out of the Village Office of Batan Village; (2) a form of error in the choice of words on official letters in and out of the Batan Village Office; (3) the form of misuse of the sentence on official letters in and out of the Village Office of Batan Village; and (4) the relevance of the findings of the analysis of errors in the use of Indonesian with learning letters in junior high school. The method used is qualitative descriptive. The data source used is in the form of documents and informants. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Data collection techniques use document analysis and interview techniques. The validity of the data is done by theory triangulation and source triangulation. Data analysis is using interactive analysis. The results of the study showed: (1) there were spelling errors in the official letter of entry and exit in the Village of Batan as many as 1,171 errors, among the three types of errors in spelling, capital letters errors had the most frequency followed by word punctuation and writing errors; (2) there were 273 errors in the official letter of entry and exit in the Village of Batan. Among the three types of diction errors, the savings error has the highest number of errors followed by errors in accuracy and rigidity; (3) there were 142 mistakes in sentence in the official letter of entry and exit in the Village of Batan Village. Among the three types of errors in the sentence, the error of the unitary arrangement has the most frequency followed by logical errors and politeness; (4) the findings of the analysis can be evaluated on the learning of letters in junior high school class VII, KD 3.11 and 4.11 and KD 3.12 and KD 4.12.
