  • ANALISIS KESALAHAN BERBAHASA INDONESIA PADA TEKS ILMIAH MAHASISWA

      Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the form of written language errors that is often done by students. The research method used is descriptive analysis method. The research data is a scientific variety text made by students in the form of a review of the books they read. The results showed an error in the error category of 89.08%, a mistake in the form of 10.71%, and a form of lapses of 0.2%. The finding of errors in letter usage errors reached 183 items or 43.16%, the finding of errors in word writing errors reached 145 items or 34.20%, the findings of errors in the use of punctuation reached 68 items or 16.04%, error findings in writing elements uptake reached 28 items or 6.6%. These findings prove that the student competency of the Publishing Study Program in mastering Indonesian Spelling really needs to be improved. The results of language error analysis in this study can be used as teaching materials for learning Indonesian especially spelling material.   Keywords: Indonesian language errors, scientific texts, students       Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk kesalahan berbahasa tulis yang sering dilakukan mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode deskriptif analisis. Data penelitian ialah teks ragam ilmiah yang dibuat mahasiswa berupa ulasan terhadap buku yang dibacanya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya kesalahan berbahasa kategori error 89,08 %, bentuk mistake 10,71%, dan bentuk lapses 0,2%. Temuan error pada kesalahan pemakaian huruf mencapai 183 item atau 43,16%, temuan error pada kesalahan penulisan kata mencapai 145 item atau 34,20%, temuan error pada pemakaian tanda baca mencapai 68 item atau 16,04%, temuan error pada penulisan unsur serapan mencapai 28 item atau 6,6%. Temuan-temuan tersebut membuktikan bahwa kompetensi mahasiswa Program Studi Penerbitan dalam penguasaan Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia sangat perlu ditingkatkan. Hasil analisis kesalahan berbahasa dalam penelitian ini dapat dijadikan bahan ajar untuk pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia khususnya materi ejaan.   Kata kunci: kesalahan berbahasa Indonesia, teks ilmiah, mahasiswa

  • KEPRIBADIAN TOKOH TRITAGONIS DALAM NOVEL TENTANG KAMU KARANGAN TERE LIYE
           PERSPEKTIF PSIKOLOGI SASTRA SERTA IMPLIKASINYA TERHADAP PEMBELAJARAN
           SASTRA DI SMA

      Abstract: This research aims to know the shape of the personalities figure in the novel Tentang Kamu the work of Tere Liye.This research uses qualitative descriptive method with content analysis techniques. Individual personality theory by Alfred Adler used as theory to find personality in the novel about you. The results showed the existence of a personality that is owned by the character tritagonis in his novel. Behavior that reflects the personality of the character tritagonis was found as manyas 117 data. The formof the dominant personality possessed by the tritagonis character that is striving for superiority with found data 42 or about 35.89% of the overall data. Striving for superiority is dominant because of the novel's theme showing the struggle of a person so found many behavioral processes of struggle and perseverance. It is supported by the advantage character of the environment in aspects of social interest, evidenced by the movement that shows the psychology of characters on the unity of personality and the ways people in habitorsolve the problem to persistin one principle i.e. life of style. As for the formof a dominant personality that issu objective perception and creative power that is only obtained 3 data from each aspect. Dominant not subjective perception and creative power because this aspect is only use ful to control them selves and have no effecton the incidencein the surrounding environment. The studies have implications for the study of the text of the novel in class XII high school, KD 3.9 and 4.9 which studies linguistic content and text of the novel as well as making text designing novel.   Keywords: personality, tritagonis character, the psychology literature       Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk kepribadian yang terdapat dalam novel Tentang Kamu karangan Tere Liye. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi. Teori kepribadian  individual oleh Alfred Adler digunakan sebagai teori untuk menemukan bentuk kepribadian dalam novel Tentang Kamu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya kepribadian yang dimiliki oleh tokoh tritagonis di dalam novel Tentang Kamu karangan Tere Liye. Perilaku yang mencerminkan kepribadian tokoh tritagonis ditemukan sebanyak 117 data. Bentuk kepribadian yang dominan dimiliki oleh tokoh tritagonis yaitu striving for superiority denganditemukan 42 data  atausekitar 35,89%  dari keseluruhan data. Dominan striving for superiority karena dari tema novel yang menampilkan perjuangan seseorang sehingga ditemukan banyak perilaku proses berjuang dan pantang menyerah. Hal itu didukung oleh kebermanfaatan tokoh terhadap lingkungan pada aspek social interest, dibuktikan oleh gerakan yang menunjukkan psikologi tokoh pada unity of personality dan cara atau kebiasaan tokoh dalam menyelesaikan masalah untuk bertahan pada satu prinsip yaitu life of style. Adapun bentuk kepribadian yang tidak dominan yaitu subjective perception dan creative power yang hanya didapat 3 data dari masing-masing aspek. Tidak dominan subjective perception dan creative power karena aspek ini hanya berguna untuk mengontrol diri dan tidak berpengaruh pada kejadian di lingkungan sekitar. Penelitian ini berimplikasi pada pembelajaran teks novel kelas XII SMA, KD 3.9 dan 4.9 yang mempelajari isi dan kebahasaan teks novel serta merancang pembuatan teks novel.   Kata kunci: kepribadian tokoh, tokoh tritagonis, psikologi sastra

  • FENOMENA EKSPLOITASI LINGKUNGANDALAM CERPEN KORAN MINGGU INDONESIA

      Abstract: Environmental damage on earth is at a critical level. Climate change, disaster, pollution, and animal hunting continue to occur without realizing that humans are part of their lives. The purpose of this research, first, is to explore the form of imagination of Indonesian story writer with the theme of environment. Second, to analyze the ecocritical element that is reflected by the author through short story weekly newspaper in Indonesia. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The approach  this research used is Garrard's ecocritical approach. The data source consists of three short stories, namely, "In the Seine Lamenting of Citarum Rivers", Go to the Hill, and Leaves, Trees and Petrichor. Data analysis begins by marking words, phrases, clauses, and sentences that have the focus of environmental exploitation. The results showed in short story weekly newspaper,  Indonesia the author reflects the environmental phenomenon that includes water pollution, forest destruction, natural disaster in the form of landscapes  in the hills of gold mines. Exploitation of nature that brings casualties. Environmental phenomena contained in the short story focuses on pollution, wilderness, natural disasters, settlements, animals, and the earth.    Keywords: ecocritism, short story, environmental exploitation       Abstrak Kerusakan lingkungan di bumi  berada pada tingkat yang kritis. Perubahan iklim, bencana, polusi, dan perburuan hewan  terus terjadi tanpa disadari bahwa manusia sebagai bagian daripada kehidupan mereka. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini,  pertama, mengeksplorasi bentuk pengimajian pengarang cerpen Indonesia yang bertemakan lingkungan. Kedua, menganalisis unsur ekokritik yang direfleksikan  pengarang melalui cerpen Koran Minggu Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif.pendekatanyang digunakan adalah pendekatan ekokritik Garrard. Sumber data terdiri atas tiga cerpen, yakni, “Di Seine Meratapi Citarum”,  Pergi ke Bukit, dan Daun, Pohon dan Petrichor. Analisis data dimulai dengan menandai kata, frasa, klausa, dan kalimat yang memiliki fokus eksploitasilingkungan. Hasilpenelitian menunjukkan dalam  cerpen Koran Mingguan Indonesia, pengarang merefleksikan fenomena lingkungan yang meliputi pencemaran air, perusakan hutan, bencana alam berupa longsor di bukit tambang emas. Eksploitasi alam yang membawa korban jiwa. Fenomena lingkungan yang terdapat dalam cerpen tersebut berfokus padapolusi, hutan belantara, bencana alam, pemukiman, hewan, dan  bumi.   Kata kunci: ekokritik, cerpen,eksploitasi lingkungan.

      Abstract: This study aims to describe the error of sentence effectiveness. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with content analysis techniques. The focus of this research is the effectiveness of sentences based on the kegramatikalan elements. The object of this research was carried out on biographical texts written byclass VIII studentsSMPNegeri 158 Jakarta,with a total of 30 biographical texts. Based on the results of the study, there were 70 errors, namely: 8 errors in the base sequence, 7 errors in the order of variation, 27 errors in elimination of elements, 12 errors in alignment, 16 errors in the use of conjunctions. So it can be concluded that, the errors in the effectiveness of sentences in class VIII students in biographical texts still occur a lot. This is due to the characteristics of class VIII students who have not understood the effectiveness of sentences based on their kegramatikalan elements in depth, so that the use of sentence effectiveness based on the kegramatikalan element is not appropriate. The implications of learning Indonesian language, namely in the 2013 Curriculum KD 3.3 classifies the tests of moral or fable stories, reviews, discussions, procedure stories, and biographical stories both through oral and written. 4.3 examines and revises moral story texts or fable reviews, discussions, procedure stories, and biographical stories both through oral and written. Thus, students can write biography text essays with better linguistic rules, especially in the use of sentence effectiveness based on the kegramatikalan elements.   Keywords: error analysis, effectiveness of sentences, biographical texts       Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan keefektifan kalimat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi. Fokus penelitian ini yaitu keefektifan kalimat berdasarkan unsur kegramatikalannya. Objek penelitian ini dilakukan pada teks biografi karangan siswa kelas VIII SMPNegeri 158 Jakarta, dengan jumlah karangan sebanyak 30 teks biografi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan sebanyak 70 kesalahan, yaitu: 8 kesalahan pada urutan dasar, 7 kesalahan pada urutan variasi, 27 kesalahan pada peniadaan unsur, 12 kesalahan pada kesejajaran, 16 kesalahan pada penggunaan konjungsi. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa, kesalahan keefektifan kalimat pada siswa kelas VIII dalam teks biografi masih banyak terjadi. Hal ini disebabkan oleh karakteristik siswa kelas VIII yang belum memahami keefektifan kalimat berdasarkan unsur kegramatikalannya secara mendalam, sehingga penggunaan keefektifan kalimat berdasarkan unsur kegramatikalannya belum tepat. Implikasi terhadap pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, yaitu pada Kurikulum 2013 KD 3.3 mengklasifikasi tesk cerita moral atau fabel, ulasan, diskusi, cerita prosedur, dan cerita biografi baik melalui lisan maupun tulisan. 4.3 menelaah dan merevisi teks cerita moral atau fabel ulasan, diskusi, cerita prosedur, dan cerita biografi baik melalui lisan maupun tulisan. Dengan demikian, siswa dapat menulis karangan teks biografi dengan kaidah kebahasaan yang lebih baik, terlebih dalam penggunaan keefektifan kalimat berdasarkan unsur kegramatikalannya.   • ANALISIS PELAFALAN BUNYI SEGMENTAL PADA SISWA TUNARUNGU SMPLB B SLBN 7

      Abstract: The study aims to obtain information about segmental sounds in the form of vocal sounds, consonant sounds, diphthong sounds, and clusters. This study was conducted on three deaf students SMPLB B SLBN 7 Jakarta. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with data analysis techniques. Data is obtained by direct observation and interviews to retrieve oral speech data which are then transcribed into phonetic symbols. Based on the results of analysis on the verbal speech data of a student, it was found 178 vowel sounds, and 143 consonant sounds, 2 cluster sounds produced and 149 syllable patterns found, and based on the results of this analysis students did not produce diphthong sounds. So, it can be concluded that there were 464 data in total in this study out of three deaf students tunarungu SMPLB B SLBN 7 Jakarta. Implications for Indonesian language learning, namely improving speaking skills in deaf students. Thus, students can practice their speaking skills through teaching Indonesian and produce oral speech that is included in segmental sounds. Keywords: pronunciation, segmental sound, deaf students     Abstrak Penelitian bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai bunyi segmental yang berupa bunyi vokal, bunyi konsonan, bunyi diftong, dan kluster. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada tiga orang siswa tunarungu Sekolah Menengah Pertama Luar Biasa B (Tunarungu) SLBN B 7 Jakarta. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tahun ajaran 2018/2019. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis data. Data diperoleh dengan cara pengamatan dan wawancara secara langsung untuk mengambil data ujaran lisan yang kemudian  ditranskripsi ke dalam lambang fonetik. Berdasarkan hasil analisis pada data ujaran lisan seorang siswa, ditemukan data sebanyak 178 bunyi vokal, serta sebanyak 143 bunyi konsonan, 2 bunyi kluster yang dihasilkan dan 149 pola silabel yang ditemukan, dan  berdasarkan hasil analisis ini siswa tidak menghasilkan bunyi diftong.Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat 464 data secara keseluruhan pada penelitian ini dari tiga orang siswa tunarungu SMPLB B SLBN 7 Jakarta. Implikasi terhadap pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, yaitu meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara pada siswa tunarungu. Dengan demikian, siswa dapat melatih keterampilan berbicaranya melalui pengajaran bahasa Indonesia dan menghasilkan bunyi ujaran lisan yang termasuk ke dalam bunyi segmental.   Kata kunci: pelafalan, bunyi segmental, siswa tunarungu

  • PENYIMPANGAN MAKSIM KESANTUNAN PADA FILM KARTUN SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS

      Abstract: This study aims to describe the deviance of politeness maxims that occur in the SpongebobSquarepants cartoon film that is carried out from January to May 2018. The focus used in this study is the deviation of maxim of language politeness derived from Leech's theory include: deviation of maximal wisdom, deviation maxim of generosity, deviation from maxims of appreciation, deviation from the maxim of simplicity, deviation from maximization of consent, and deviation from maximization of conclusions. With the sub focus of politeness scale which includes the scale of loss and profit, choice scale, scale of non-continuity, authority scale, and social distance scale. The method used in this study uses a qualitative descriptive method with content analysis techniques. The object of this study was the cartoon film SpongebobSquarepants by Stephen Hillenburg. In this study, data were obtained on the cartoon SpongebobSquarepants in three episodes, Pineapple Fever, Sandy, Spongebob, and The Worm, and SquidwardThe Unfriendly Ghost, which consisted of 209 pairs of speeches. Maximum politeness deviation is 138 pairs of utterances (66.02%), while fulfillment of politeness maxim is found as many as 71 pairs of utterances (33.98%). Found 1 data maximal deviations (0.72%), 5 data maximal maximal deviations (3.62%), 46 maximal awards deviations (33.3%), 26 data maximization simplicity (18.84 %), deviation of agreement maximization as much as 61 data (44.3%), and deviation of maximization of conclusions as much as 17 data (12.6%). Then obtained politeness scale of 209 pairs of utterances. 138 fulfills politeness and 71 pairs of utterances fulfill impoliteness. The results of this study concluded that the deviations in maxim of politeness speak more than the fulfillment of politeness maxim in the cartoon film SpongebobSquarepants. In this study can be implicated in Indonesian language learning, namely learning in the text of the discussion class IX junior high school.   Keywords: politeness maxim, cartoon film, Spongebob Squarepants   Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penyimpangan maksim kesantunan yang terjadi di dalam film kartun Spongebob Squarepants yang dilakukan pada bulan Januari sampai dengan bulan Mei 2018. Fokus yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penyimpangan  maksim kesantunan berbahasa yang diturunkan dari teori Leech meliputi: penyimpangan maksim kebijaksanaan, penyimpangan maksim kedermawanan, penyimpangan maksim penghargaan, penyimpangan maksim kesederhanaan, penyimpangan maksim permufakatan, dan penyimpangan maksim kesimpatisan. Dengan sub fokus skala kesantunan yang meliputi skala kerugian dan keuntungan, skala pilihan, skala ketidaklangsungan, skala keotoritasan, dan skala jarak sosial. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi. Objek penelitian ini adalah film kartun Spongebob Squarepants karya Stephen Hillenburg. Dalam penelitian ini didapatkan data pada film kartun Spongebob Squarepants dalam tiga episode yaitu Pineapple Fever, Sandy, Spongebob, and The Worm, dan Squidward The Unfriendly Ghost sebanyak 209 pasangan ujaran. Penyimpangan maksim kesantunan sebanyak 138 pasangan ujaran (66,02%), sedangkan pemenuhan maksim kesantunan ditemukan sebanyak 71 pasangan ujaran (33,98%).   • NILAI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM NOVEL RINDU KARANGAN TERE LIYE: TINJAUAN

      Abstract: This study aims to describe the structure of Rindu by Tere Liye, and the character education values ​​available in the Rindu novel written by Tere Liye. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method, with content handling techniques. The instrument of this research is the researchers themselves who are assisted by the analysis table using the Character Psychology approach. The data mentioned is the structure of the novel Rindu, the novel theme of Rindu by Tere Liye is a Hajj journey. Grooves that are mixed channels. The main character in this novel is Gurutta. Timeline in 1938. The setting where the Rindu novel is most dominant is on the Dutch Blitar ship. Merging data, obtained information that the education education in the novel Rindu written by Tere Liye was 132 data (80%) and that did not contain 33 data data (20%). Data surface: There are 22 religious values ​​(13.33%), there are 7 data values ​​(4.24%), 9 data values ​​(5.45%), 9 data values ​​(5.45%) , the value of love for peace there are 7 data (4.24%), communicative value there are 29 data (17.57%), value of reading likes there are 10 data (6.06%), government value is 6 data (3.63%) , the value of national spirit is 11 data (6.67%), and social care value is 23 data (13.93%). Rindu novel by Tere Liye is more dominant in having friendly / communicative values. This research also implies the topic of language for special novels for the high school (XII) level of the XII KD class. 3.9 Analyzing the content and linguistics of novels and KD. 4.9 Designing novels or novelet by expressing content and language. Suggestions for further researchers to conduct research with the object of the novel Rindu written by Tere Liye with other aspects of character education and also supported by other sciences outside of literature.   Keywords: value of character education, novel Rindu, Tere Liye        Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan struktur novel Rindu karangan Tere Liye dan nilai pendidikan karakter yangterdapat dalam novel Rindu karangan Tere Liye.Metode yang digunakan dalam penlitian ini ialah metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik analisis isi. Instrumen penelitian ini ialah peneliti sendiri yang dibantu oleh tabel analisis dengan menggunakan pendekatan Psikologi Karakter. Data yang diambil ialah struktur novel Rindu,tema novel Rindu karya Tere Liye ini ialahperjalanan haji. Alur yang digunakan ialah alur campuran. Tokoh utama dalam novel ini adalah Gurutta. Latar waktu pada tahun 1938. Latar tempat novel Rindu yang paling dominan yaitu di atas kapal Blitar Holland.Berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh informasi bahwa nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam novel Rindu karangan Tere Liye sebanyak 132 data (80%) dan yang tidak terdapat niai pendidikan karakter terdapat 33 data (20%). Dengan rincian sebagai berikut: nilai religius terdapat 22 data (13,33%), nilai toleransi terdapat 7 data (4,24%), nilai disiplin terdapat 9 data (5,45%), nilai mandiri terdapat 9 data(5,45%), nilai cinta damai terdapat 7 data (4,24%), nilai komunikatif terdapat 29 data (17,57%), nilai gemar membaca terdapat 10 data (6,06%), nilai demokratis terdapat 6 data (3,63%), nilai semangat kebangsaan terdapat 11 data (6,67%), dan nilai peduli sosial terdapat 23 data (13,93%). Novel Rindu karangan Tere Liye lebih dominan memiliki nilai bersahabat/komunikatif. Penelitian ini juga diimplikasikan pada pembelajaran bahasa, khususnya materi teks novel untuk tingkat sekolah menengah atas (SMA) kelas XII KD. 3.9 Menganalisis  isi dan kebahasaan novel dan KD. 4.9 Merancang novel atau novelet dengan memerhatikan isi dan kebahasaan. SMA ini memiliki keunggulan terutama dalam belajar bahasa Indonesia dibandingkan dengan sekolah lain di daerah tersebut.
