      Abstract: ABSTRAK   Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilakukan oleh karena rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada materi konsep mol dan masih belum terlaksana dengan baik penerapan metode pembelajaran terutama pada proses pembelajaran Kimia di kelas X MIPA Sma Negeri 6 Kota Bekasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran Problem Solving memiliki dampak positif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan analisis data, aktivitas guru dalam proses pembelajaran Problem Solving dalam setiap siklus juga mengalami peningkatan serta berdampak positif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Hal ini dapat ditunjukkan dengan nilai rata – rata siswa pada setiap siklus yang terus mengalami peningkatan. Dengan demikian hipotesis tindakan dalam penelitian ini terbukti bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran problem Solving dalam proses belajar mengajar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi konsep mol.   Kata kunci: Hasil Belajar , Kimia, Konsep Mol, Metode Pembelajaran Problem Solving ABSTRACT   The Classroom Action Research was conducted because of the low learning achievements of MOL concept and still has not done well the use of  learning methods, especially in the learning process in Chemistry class of X MIPA SMAN 6 Bekasi . This research outputs indicated that Problem Solving has a positive impact in improving learning achievements of students. Based on data analysis the activity of the teacher in the learning process using Problem Solving method in each cycle also increased as well as the positive impact on the student achievement. This can be shown by the average value of student in each cycle which is constantly increasing. Thus the hypothesis of action in the study proved that the application of the problem solving method in the teaching and learning can enhance learning achievement student to learn Chemistry with the material theory of Mol concept.   Keywords: achievement, Chemistry, Concept Mol, Problem Solving Method

  • PLECTRANTHUS AMBOINICUS (LOUR.) SPRENG SEBAGAI BAHAN PANGAN DAN OBAT SERTA

      Abstract: ABSTRAK   Plectranthus amboinicus merupakan herba sukulen dari famili Lamiaceae yang telah lama dimanfaatkan oleh manusia sebagai bahan pangan dan obat. Pemanfaatan tumbuhan sebagai bahan pangan dan obat berhubungan dengan kandungan metabolit sekundernya. Penulisan artikel ini didasarkan pada kajian literatur dari berbagai buku dan artikel ilmiah yang diperoleh secara on line maupun off line. Daun dan batang P. amboinicus mengandung essensial oil yang menghasilkan cita rasa dan aroma yang khas digunakan sebagai sayur, bumbu masak, dan menu ibu paska melahirkan. Uji bioaktivitasnya dari ekstrak P. ambonicus memiliki aktivitas sebagai anti mikroba, anti kanker, dan hepaprotektif. Plectranthus amboinicus sangat potensial dikembangkan sebagai bahan kuliner sebagai pengawet makanan alami.   Keywords: Plectranthus amboinicus, essential oil,  antioksidan, dan antimikroba. ABSTRACT The Plectranthus amboinicus was a succulent herb belonging Lamiaceae that has long been used by humans as food and medicine. The utilization of plants as food and medicine related to secondary metabolite content. The writing of this article is based on literature review of various books and scientific articles obtained on line or off line. The leaves and stems of P. amboinicus contains essential oils that produce flavor and aroma, so that its used as a vegetable, seasoning, and maternal postpartum menu. The bioactivity of P. ambonicus extract has activity as anti microbial, anti cancer, and hepaprotective. The P. amboinicus is potentially developed as a culinary ingredient as a natural food preservative.   Keywords: Plectranthus amboinicus, essential oil, antioxidant, and antimicrobial.

      Abstract: ABSTRAK   Karya sastra sebagai dokumen sosial menjadi wadah refleksi yang efektif. Fungsi didaktif karya sastra menyuluh pembaca secara tidak langsung. Pendidikan diberikan lewat permenungan juga mengaitkannya dengan pengalaman pribadi maupun kondisi masyarakat di zaman pembaca. Pendekatan sastra dengan cara demikian sudah ada sejak zaman Plato yang dikembangkan oleh Marxis. Karya sastra dipandang sebagai cerminan masyarakat di era tertentu. Pendekatan ini disebut mimesis, sudah lama ditinggalkan peneliti sastra, tetapi perlu dikembangkan lagi untuk mengenali dan menghargai keragaman budaya masyarakat Indonesia. Robohnya Surau Kami adalah cerpen yang mengandung nilai kemanusiaan, kasih, dan menggambarkan fenomena beribadah yang masih ditemui di zaman ini. Kepekaan dan cara penulis mengkritik persoalan masyarakat yang sensitif menjadi kekuatan cerpen ini. Selain itu, penokohan dan konflik terasa nyata sekalipun ada dialog manusia dengan Tuhan setelah kematian. Penulis menunjukkan kematangannya dalam memaparkan persoalan nyata yang akrab di tengah-tengah masyarakat. Penutup cerita pun menimbulkan keheranan. Hal tersebut memberi pengalaman membaca yang bermakna dan kesan yang mendalam bagi pembaca sehingga dapat menjadi penggugah minat baca yang efektif bagi mahasiswa, khususnya Prodi Pendidikan Bahasa Indonesia.   Kata Kunci: refleksi, karya sastra, minat baca ABSTRACT   Literary work as a social document becomes an effective reflection media. The 'Didaktif' function of literary work indirectly informs readers. Education is given through reflection and it is also connected with personal experiences or society conditions in the reader era. This kind of literature approaching had been existing since the Plato era which was developed by Marxis. Literary work is viewed as a society reflection in a certain era. This approaching is called Mimesis which has long been abandoned by researchers but it needs to be developed to recognice and to appreciate the society's cultural diversity. Robohnya surau kami is a short story containing values of humanity and love end it describes a worship phenomenon which we still find in this era. The sensitivity and the way the writer criticizes society problem becomes the strength of this short story. In additions, characters decision and the conflict seem real though there is a dialogue between human and God after death. The writer shows his high capability in delivering real problems occurring in the community. The story closing makes a surprise. That gives a valuable reading experience and a deep impression so that it attracts students to have an effective reading interest, especially Indonesia Language department students.   Key words: reflection, literature, reading interest

      Abstract: ABSTRAK Setiap perusahaan dituntut untuk memiliki sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas dan berkarakter. Ketersediaan sumber daya manusia yang memenuhi kebutuhan perusahaan yang mempunyai kemampuan, pengetahuan dan keterampilan serta yang berkarakter, maka diperlukan suatu metode pengembangan sumber daya manusia. Salah satu cara atau  metode pengembangan sumber daya manusia adalah melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan. Tujuan penulisan ini untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi manajemen pendidikan dan pelatihan (Diklat) dalam upaya pengembangan sumber daya manusia. Dalam mendiskripsikan analisis manajemen dan pelatihan, penulis menggunakan pendekatan sistem dimana dijabarkan terlebih dahulu mengenai konsep manajemen pendidikan dan pelatihan, kemudian bagaimana proses manajemen pendidikan dan pelatihan itu sendiri. Pendekatan yang kedua adalah pendekatan sumber masukan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang dominan dalam manajemen pendidikan dan pelatihan. Terdapat paling sedikit tujuh faktor yang dominan, yaitu: 1) Penyelenggara Diklat; 2) Instruktur/Pelatih; 3) Peserta; 4) Perencanaan Kebutuhan Pendidikan dan Pelatihan; 5) Kurikulum; 6) Sarana dan Prasarana; 7) Pembiayaan. Kata kunci: Manajemen, Pendidikan, Pelatihan, Sumber daya manusia ABSTRACT Every company is required to have qualified human resources and character. The availability of human resources that meet the needs of companies that have the ability, knowledge and skills as well as the character, it is necessary a method of human resource development. One way or method of human resource development is through education and training. The purpose of this paper is to know the factors that influence the management of education and training (Diklat) in the effort of human resource development. In describing the analysis of management and training, the authors use a system approach where described first about the concept of management education and training, then how the process of management education and training itself. The second approach is the input source approach to analyze the dominant factors in education and training management.       Abstract: ABSTRAk   Generasi milenial yang sebagian besar merupakan pelajar SMP dan SMA lebih banyak menghabiskan waktunya dengan gadget. Banyak pelajar masa kini sulit memahami pelajaran yang dipelajari di sekolah sehingga sampai di rumah mereka kembali sibuk dengan gadget-nya masing-masing dan melupakan topik pelajaran yang telah dipelajari di sekolah. Oleh karena itu, kebanyakan orangtua menyadari hal tersebut sehingga memberikan pelajaran tambahan bagi anak-anaknya dengan mendaftarkan anak-anaknya ke lembaga-lembaga bimbingan belajar (bimbel) terkenal ataupun mencari guru-guru les privat. Dengan semakin berkembangnya m-learning, siswa tidak perlu lagi harus datang ke lokasi bimbel karena Mereka bisa belajar kapanpun mereka mau setiap mereka membawa laptop atau smartphone dengan mengakses bimbingan belajar online (bimbel online). Ruangguru hadir sebagai salah satu alternatif bimbel online yang dapat dengan mudah diakses melalui smartphone, laptop ataupun tablet. Beberapa fitur unggulan seperti RuangUji, Ruang Latihan, Ruang Video, RuangLes, RuangLesOnline, Digital Boot Camp dan Edumail memungkinkan siswa untuk meng-upgrade kemampuan belajarnya sehingga diharapkan dapat mencapai hasil yang diinginkan.   Kata Kunci: m-learning, ruang guru. ABSTRACT   Millennial generations, mostly junior and senior high school students are spending much more of their time with gadgets. Nowadays, many students find it hard to understand their school lessons then neglect them at home. Parents realize this problem then help their children by enrolling them in tutoring agencies or seeking private tutors. With the development of m-learning, students no longer need to come to the location of guidance because they can learn whenever they want each they bring a laptop or smartphone by accessing online tutoring. Ruangguru presents as one of alternative online tutoring media can be easily accessed via smartphone, laptop or tablet. Ruangguru provides some excellent features such as RuangUji, RuangLatihan, RuangVideo, RuangLes, RuangLesOnline, DigitalBootCamp dan Edumail allow students to upgrade their learning abilities so that they are expected to achieve the desired results.   Key Words: m-learning, ruangguru.

      Abstract: ABSTRAk   Salah satu komponen utama dalam perencanaan pendidikan tinggi adalah pengajaran. Berkaitan dengan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris, pengajaran berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan siswa di kelas bahasa Inggris. Pemilihan strategi mengajar yang tepat, yang dilakukan oleh guru bahasa Inggris, membantu pembentukan proses pembelajaran Bahasa yang efektif dan tepat sasaran. Terdapat banyak strategi mengajar yang sesuai untuk pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di pendidikan tinggi. Dalam tulisan ini akan diuraikan beberapa strategi mengajar tersebut, termasuk persyaratan dan hambatannya. Pemahaman tentang strategi mengajar terbaik yang sesuai dengan kelas bahasa Inggris sangat penting bagi guru bahasa Inggris. Ulasan dalam tulisan ini diharapkan dapat menghasilkan perbaikan dalam praktik mengajar pendidikan bahasa Inggris di perguruan tinggi.   Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Tinggi, Metode Pengajaran, Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris     ABSTRACT   One of the main components in higher education planning is teaching. Regarding to English language learning, teaching distributes influences toward the learners’ successfulness in English classes. The appropriate selection of teaching strategies conducted by the English teachers help shaping effective and on-target language learning processes. There are many teaching strategies applicable to English language learning in higher education. The present writing elaborates discussions about those teaching strategies, including its requirements and barriers. Understanding the best teaching strategies which fit the English classes is considerately important for English teachers. It is expected that the discussion will result in the betterment on English teaching practices in higher education.   Key Words: Higher Education, Teaching Strategies, English Education
