      Abstract: Pembelajaran sastra dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa mengapresiasi karya sastra. Kegiatan mengapresiasi cerpen berkaitan erat dengan latihan mempertajam perasaan, penalaran, dan daya khayal, serta kepekaan terhadap masyarakat, budaya, dan lingkungan hidup. Siswa diharapkan mampu menikmati, menghayati, memahami, dan memanfaatkan karya sastra pada umumnya dan cerpen khususnya untuk mengembangkan kepribadian, memperluas wawasan kehidupan, serta meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan berbahasa. Diharapkan siswa mampu menikmati, menghayati, memahami, dan memanfaatkan cerpen untuk mengembangkan kepribadian, memperluas wawasan kehidupan, serta meningkatkan pengetahuan dan kemampuan berbahasa. Membaca cerpen akan membantu siswa menjadi manusia berbudaya yang responsif terhadap nilai-nilai luhur dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Siswa yang berbudaya demikian diharapkan menjadi manusia yang agung namun tetap sederhana, bebas tetapi mengontrol diri, kuat tetapi penuh kelembutan.

      Abstract: The background of this research is about the low of study result because students’s learning activity so low and the students’ not familiar with scientific method. The focus of this reasearch is made procedure komplex text with audio-visual media. This media is a way how to increase the students’ ability in producing  complex procedure in a good text. The method used in this research is qualitative-descriptive method. The kind of this research is classroom action research which was conducted in three cycles. The subject of this research is SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak. The object research is the visual-audio media . The research instrument  used is the test of study and also the observation sheet for observation the learning activity of the students and researcher. The results shows the medium of video could improve the writing skill complex procedure text, and the students’ attitude havea good invroved.

  • PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS TEKS PROSEDUR DENGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PAIR

      Abstract: This study is aimed to describe the improvement of writing abiliy on procedure text by using pair checks learning model at the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sengah Temila. The method used in this research was descriptive method. Descriptive method is concerned with developing or giving explanations of social phenomena towards subject that being observed. The techniques used in this research were observaion, documentary study, and test. The result of writing ability on prosedure text by using pair checks learning model at the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sengah Temila in the firstcycle was 72, 88%  and in  the second cycle, the students’ score was 80, 45%. It can be concluded that the implementation of pair checks learning  model improved students’ writing ability on procedure text at the eighth grade students of junior high school in SMP Negeri 1 Sengah Temila.

      Abstract: Writing skill for Argumentation Paragraph for students in SMA N 1 Menyuke, regency on the tenth grade in secondA semeste. The purpose of this research was described students writing skill for argumentation paragraph based on the aspect observation from the unity of paragraph, coherence of paragraph, development of paragraph. This research used descriptive in qualitative method. The instrument of this research was written test for argumentation paragraph. The result of this research were 95% for the unity of paragraph, 44,37% for coherence of paragraph, 51,87%.The general conclusion of this research showed students writing skill in argumentation paragraph for students on the tenth grade in SMA N 1 Menyuke Landak regency in second semester 2014/2015 achieved the score 63,54% with ranges 56%-65% categorized poor to average, whether there are some aspect must be increase.

      Abstract: This study purpose to describe the planning, implementation, and result of skills learning of producing anecdote text using caricature media and scientific approach to the students in the first grade of Vocational school I Mempawah Hilir in Accounting program in Akademic year 2016/2017. The data was used in this study was obtained from planning action, implementation, observation, and reflection on writing learning/produce a anecdote text written.. The conclusion of this study based on the result research is caricature media and scientific approach can improve the quality process, especially the attitude and the results of the students writing skills of anecdote text. It can be evidenced by the students attitude on the aspects of honesty, discipline, responsibility, manners, and responsive in I, II, and III cycle. The quality of skills produce student’s written increased, the first cycle of the average value of 62.76 with a 42% level of completeness. The second cycle the average value of 74.11 with a 61% level of completeness. Cycle III the average value of 86.78 with a 89% level of completeness.

  • PENERAPAN METODE ROLE PLAYING DALAM PEMBELAJARAN DRAMA UNTUK PENINGKATAN

      Abstract: The purpose of this study as follows. First, it reviews the application of  the role playing method in the learning drama to know the learning processquality, especially the students’ attitude, namely interest, activity, responsibility, courage, and enthusiastic. Second, it reviews the application of the role playing method in the learningdrama to know the quality of students’ speaking, especially pronunciation, intonation, fluency, expression, and comprehension.Actionis implemented during three cycles. The examined data is the learning process, especially the students’ attitude and speaking. The data source is the fifth grade teacher through the lesson plans, score list of students’ attitude, score list of the students’ speaking ability, teacher’s activity by using an indirect technique, namely observation and documentation.Based on theresearch results, it is concluded that role playing method can improve the quality of the learning process, especially the students’s attitude and speaking. This can be evidenced by the increased percentage as follows. First, students’ attitude on aspects of interest, activity, responsibility, courage, and enthusiastic in the cycle I, II, and III. Second, the quality of students’ speaking ability evidenced by the average score in the first cycle is 70 and 48% levels of completeness. In the second cycle, ithappened increasing to 79 with a 74% level of completeness. In the third cycle, ithappened a significant increasing, namely 87 to 93% levels of completeness.

      Abstract: This action research aims to describe the planning, implementation and evaluation of learning preparing a formal letter with the strategy card (card sort) in Class VIII B SMP Negeri 1 Establish Year 2011/2012. The method used is descriptive, qualitative research is the shape and type of research is classroom action research. This study using the technique of direct observation and measurement techniques. The results showed that the strategy set the cards (Card sort) managed to improve the ability of students to write a formal letter. In cycle 1 gained an average of 66.70 with a passing grade of 30%, can be classified is still low, at 2 cycles increased by an average of 70.85 with 55% mastery learning there are students who have not completed the necessary improvements and cycle 3 achieved an average 73.17 and completeness study 85% said learning has managed in accordance with the expected goals.

      Abstract: Increasedability to writecreative poemsusing creative model of learning, contextual, andreligious (TRC) in the seventh grade studentsof MTs Negeri 2A Pontianakconductedto determine the applicationthat is implemented in the classroomlearning. This studyaimed to describethe planning, execution, and learning outcomes. The method usedis descriptive method, the form of qualitative research, and the type of research is classroom action research (CAR). The data were taken using tests andnon-test instruments. Data collectiontool used. Was the observation sheet and achievement test. Data were analysed qualitatively and quantitatively. Based on this research,the TRC model of learning can improve student learning out comes in creative writing poetry. The average results of student learningin the first cycle was 69.65 or at 41.38%, the second cycle increased to73.79 or at 72.41%, while the third cycle increased to78.20 or at 89.66%. Similarly, the attitudes of studentsin the following study very well increase.
