      Abstract: Abstract: Test of Arabic  as a Foreign Language (TOAFL) is new standard of Arabic which is used by Indonesian religion ministry to measure the skill of Arabic students. TOAFL is also used by some Islamic State Universities in Indonesia in selecting the new students such as post graduate students. TOAFL is similar to TOEFL which consists of three section parts. Those are 1st Listening (Istima’), 2nd Grammar (Qowa’id), and 3rd Reading (Qiro’ah). The goal of this article are 1st to know the first history of TOAFL, 2nd to know the TOAFL test type, and 3rd to give specific recommendation for Indonesian religion ministry.Keywords: TOAFL, Islamic State Universities, Indonesian Religion Ministry

      Abstract: Abstract:The quality of learning Arabic language in Indonesia is still not perfect yet. It means that there are still many problems found such as aspect of teacher, method and media. For method, teachers retains the classical method than trying to explore a variety of methods that have been suggested by many researchers in learning Arabic. Rather then tries one of the main factors underlying the interest and student learning outcomes, learning methods of outbound fun games offers solutions with Alfresco-based learning concept which many contain elements of the fun game and can be felt directly by the student so that the improvement in interest, motivation and student learning outcomes can be seen during the learning process. Keywords: Learning Arabic, outbound fun games, the results of the study.

      Abstract: ملخص :بحث هذا البحث عن القيم الصوفية في مخطوطة MAA.021 (حقيقة المعرفة). كانت المخطوطة في مكتبة المسجد الجامع قصر سوراكرتا (Keraton Surakarta) . هذا البحث من دراسة  فيلولوجية و تحليلية. وهذا البحث هو من ضمن البحث النوعي (Qualitative research) واستخدم الباحث منهج بحثه منهج الوصفية وتحليلية(Description- analysis).وأما طريقة جمع البيانات المستخدمة طريقة الدراسة المكتبية. استخدم الباحث كتاب الرسالة القشيرية لإمام القشيري في مقارنة المواد الصوفية من المخطوطة. يستخدم الباحث استقراء أثناء تحليل بياناته (Buttom- up Approach). يقدم البحث عن المسألة التي وقعت في الحياة الصوفية ومنها قد يتمتع ويتلذذ المتصوفون تجريبيتهم الصوفية الإفرادية عندى لقاء الله حتى تكون حياتهم صالحة لنفسه ولم يصلحوا بيئتهم من حيث إقتصادية وسياسية واجتماعية وغيرها. ولذا، ينتيج الباحث من هذا البحث، أن الشريعة مِرْأَةٌ على ظهور عملية الإيمان الظاهري أما التصوف مِرْأَةٌ على ظهور عملية الإيمان الباطني. وكذالك على السالك أن يطبّق التجربة الروحية التي أحسّها عند لقاء الله تعالى واتّحاده (القيم الإفرادية و الغيبية) إلى حياة السالك وبيئته الحقيقة (القيم الإجتماعية و التجريبية)، و هذا التطبيق نوع من أنواع نش...

      Abstract: Abstract: Pesantren curriculum as a Mu'adalah between the curriculum at educational institutions using the book and the quality criteria that have been set out in a fair and open. Therefore, this study was conducted to find out an overview of the planning, implementation and evaluation of curriculum development of Arabic at pesantren Al C. This study uses qualitative research methods, descriptive data collection techniques in the form of observation, interview and documentation as well as the use of trainggulasi resources to check the validity of the data. Based on this study, it was found that the Arabic curriculum planning at the boarding school places emphasis on the achievement of language proficiency in the aspects of speaking and reading. Sementara kontribusi praktis, bahwa psikolinguistik  dapat diaktualisasikan dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab di era globalisasi saat ini, dimana kedua disiplin ilmu ini tidak akan menemukan titik final yang berakhir pada suatu muara tertentu, sebab selalu berkembang dan update pada setiap era (masa). Penelitian ini merupakan studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan cara menela’ah aneka literatur yang terkait. Sedangkan metode yang akan diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dan analisis. Kedua metode ini tidak diterapkan satu persatu, akan tetapi diterapkan secara serentak. Metode deskriptif dipakai, karena dalam uraiannya akan memberikan gambaran umum tentang persoalan yang akan dikaji, kemudian dari data tersebut akan diadakan interpretasi. Sementara metode analisis digunakan untuk melihat secara kritis berbagai persoalan yang melatar belakangi persoalan tersebut. Untuk prosedur pengolahan data, digunakan Content Analysis. Mencermati paparan dimaksud, maka temuan penelitian yang dihasilkan adalah “Desain Psikolinguistik dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab”, dimulai dari desain tujuan, desain materi, desain pendekatan, desain metode, desain teknik, desain media pembelajaran serta desain evaluasi proses dan evaluasi hasil. Keywords: Bahasa Arab, Psikolinguistik, Konseptual dan Historis

  • PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR QIRA’AH TERPADU BAGI MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI

      Abstract: Abstract: Pembelajaran qira’ah sering berjalan lambat, karena penguasaan struktur bahasa (Nahwu dan Shorf) dan penguasaan muradat mahasiswa lemah. Peneliti melakukan penelitian pengembangan bahan ajar qiraah yang terpadu untuk Program studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab (PBA). Bahan ajar disusun melalui proses penataan ulang bahan ajar qira’ah yang tersedia pada buku ajar yang ada dengan memberikan perubahan letak, urutan dan penambahan latihan pemahaman kritis, kajian, menulis, latihan membuat kalimat dan berbicara yang disesuaikan dengan sistematika ilmu nahwu sehingga memadukan antar kemahiran dan unsure bahasa arab. Produk bahan ajar memenuhi prinsip keakuratan isi teks dan prinsip sehingga tepat dan sesuai dengan Standar Kompetensi (SK) mata kuliah maharah qira’ah dan Nahwu bahkan mata kuliah maharatul lughah, memberikan Daya dukung Pembelajaran, menyediakan proses menalar dengan  menggunakan pertannya kritis, soal latihan terbuka (open-ended problem), memiliki keseimbangan antara kedalaman dan keluasan kosa kata dan kaidah tata kalimat yang digunakan, berbasis Analisis Kebutuhan Peserta Didik, dan disusun secara linier. Keywords: Pengembangan Bahan Ajar, Bahan Ajar Terpadu, Qira’ah

  • SINONIM DAN ANTONIM DALAM AL-QURAN

      Abstract: Abstract: This article explains the various things about synonyms and antonyms in Arabic linguistic studies. Readers are invited to discuss cross-references on the definition of synonyms and antonyms in the Arabic linguistic context, the background of the emergence of synonyms and antonyms in Arabic, the variety of synonyms and antonyms, and the phenomenon of synonyms and antonyms in the Qur'an. Differences in understanding synonyms and antonyms result in differences in interpreting the Qur'an. Mainstream there are two kinds of pro synonyms and antonyms and counter synonyms and antonyms in the Qur "an. The argument used is the science of linguistics and exegesis, From the pro and contra of this synonym, the concept of partial synonym can be a synthesis in formulating the method of interpretation of the Qur'an. While the antonym in the context of the Qur'anic commentary is one word has two contradictory meanings.   • ASPEK GRAMATIKAL SYAIKH NAWAWI AL-BANTANI (PERSPEKTIF LINGUISTIK ARAB)

      Abstract: Abstract: Nahwu merupakan ilmu ‘alat’ untuk memahami bahasa keislaman, dan salah satu matn nahwu yang paling banyak mendapat apresiasi luas adalah al-Muqaddimah al-A<jurru>miyyah karya Ibnu A<jurru>m (Abu> Abdulla>h Muh}ammad as}-S{inha>ji> 672-723 H) yang dikembangkan oleh para ulama selanjutnya dalam bentuk syarh}, naz\m, h}asyiyyah, dan taqri>ra>t, salah satunya Syaikh Muhammad Nawawi al-Bantani (1230-1314 H/1815-1897 M) dengan judul: Fath} Ga>fir al-Khat}iyyah ‘ala al-Kawa>kib al-Jaliyyah fi Naz}m al-Ajurru>miyyah. Kitab nahwu Nawawi ini bercorak ta‘li>mi> (pedagogik) dan didesain untuk kepentingan pembelajaran dengan gaya narasi yang sederhana, sistematis, dan minim perdebatan masalah khilafiyyah, disertai contoh-contoh kreatif. Tulisan ini menemukan bahwa Syaikh Nawawi memberikan tambahan dengan menghadirkan contoh-contoh yang sedikit banyak berkaitan dengan isu-isu pendidikan dan keislaman, seperti ilmu dan belajar dan proses belajar-mengajar antara guru-murid, hingga isu-isu teologis seperti muslim dan kafir, di samping isu-isu lingkungan, perjalanan, dan interaksi sosial dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Keywords: gramatikal Arab, ulama Jawi, al-Ajurrumiyyah
