Authors:Septiana Wijayanti, Joko Sungkono Pages: 101 - 110 Abstract: This study aims to develop the valid, practical, and effective teaching instruments by using Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model with Somatic, Auditory, Visualization, and Intellectually (SAVI) based. This method of this study is R&D (Research and Development) which uses 4 D (Define, Design, Develop, and Development) learning model from Thiagarajan. But, this phase of the study is not spreading the developing result of the teaching instrument yet. The data collection techniques are teacher and students’ need questionnaire, observation sheet, interview, validation sheet, teacher and students’ response questionnaire, and the result test. This study produces learning instruments such as lesson plan (RPP), learning module, and students’ worksheet (LKS). The result of this study shows that 1) learning instruments by using CPS learning model with SAVI based such as lesson plan, learning module, and student’s worksheet includes in good category based on the expert judgement generally, 2) students and teacher’s response toward the learning by using CPS learning model with SAVI based show that they are interested in learning process, new learning model which is not used before, and they are also interested in the student’s worksheet and learning module, and 3) CPS learning model with SAVI based is effective to use in learning distance in space. From this result of the study, it can be concluded that the developed learning instrument is valid, practical, and effective. This research is a simple research with qualitative type. The validity of Lesson Plan is seen through two aspects, namely the linguistic aspect and the substance (content) aspect. Thus, the instrument used in this research is the Linguistic Aspects Validation Guidance and the Substance Validation Guidelines (contents) Guidance. Validation is done by two validators Lingusitic expert field and Mathematics expert field. The results showed that the validity of linguistic aspects of 3.35 and the validity of the substance (content) of 3.82, so it can be concluded Lesson Plan based multiple intelligences for learning mathematics in junior high school students who have been compiled valid based on the language aspect. Authors:Nurina Kurniasari Rahmawati Pages: 121 - 134 Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know the influence of Teams Games Tournaments (TGT), Numbered Head Together (NHT) model to the students 'mathematical learning achievement that reviewed students' mathematical reasoning ability. This research is a quasi-experimental research with 3 × 3 factorial design. The researcher uses 2 indicators of learning achievement that is (1) Mathematics achievement test and (2) Test of mathematical communication ability. Analysis of the data used is the analysis of two-way variants with different cells. The results of this research can be summarized as follows. (1) Learning using TGT learning model makes better student's mathematical learning achievement compared to student's mathematical learning achievement with NHT learning model and conventional learning, while NHT model gives a better result of student's mathematical learning achievement from student's learning achievement with conventional learning. (2) Learners with high mathematical reasoning ability have better learning achievement compared with learners with medium ability as well as medium ability better than low ability. (3) Students have high and moderate reasoning abilities with the three learning models giving the same mathematical achievement, whereas students with low mathematical reasoning ability using TGT and NHT models provide the same mathematical achievement, but better than conventional learning models, and conventional learning models and NHT produces the same mathematical achievement. (4) The learning model of TGT and NHT in students with high, medium and low mathematical reasoning ability produce the same mathematical achievement, whereas conventional learning model on students with high and medium mathematical reasoning has the same mathematical achievement but better than students with reasoning low math. Authors:Arie Purwa Kusuma Pages: 135 - 144 Abstract: The objectives of this research were to investigate the effect of the learning models on the learning achievement in Mathematics viewed from the spatial ability of the students. This research used the quasi-experimental research method with the factorial design of 3 x 3. Its population was all of the students in grade XI of State Senior High Schools of Wonosobo regency in Academic Year 2017/2018. The samples of the research were taken by using the cluster random sampling technique. They consisted of 326 students. The data of the research were analyzed by using the two-way analysis of variance with unbalanced cells.The results of the research are as follows.1) The cooperative learning model of the STAD type results in a better learning achievement in Mathematics than the cooperative learning model of the TAI type and the direct learning model and the cooperative learning model of the STAD type results in a better learning achievement in Mathematics than the conventional learning model.2) The learning achievement in Mathematics of the students with the high spatial ability was better than that of the students with the moderate and low spatial abilities, and the learning achievement in Mathematics of the students with the moderate spatial ability was better than that of the students with the low spatial ability. 3) There was an interaction the aforementioned learning models and the categories of the spatial ability on the learning achievement in Mathematics of the students. From the results of research conducted obtained: 1.The location of learning difficulties of students in learning materials data processing on the subject of Basic Mathematics Concept II is on the indicator: determine the mean, median, and mode for single data with 75.478 percentage, 2. the types of learning difficulties experienced by students in the subject matter of the basic concept of mathematics II are the types of procedural and skill errors with each percentage of 27% and 20%. Authors:Yunika Lestaria Ningsih, Misdalina Misdalina, Marhamah Marhamah Pages: 155 - 164 Abstract: This study aims to: (1) Know the differences in student learning outcomes between the Blended Learning model and ordinary learning both overall and based on the level of early math ability (high, medium and low), (2) Knowing the increase in student self-reliance taught by using Blended Learning models and students are taught with ordinary learning both overall and by the level of early math ability (high, medium and low). in this research use method that is quasi-experiment with pretest-postest control group design design. The population in this research consists of all 5th-semester students of Mathematics Education Study Program Universitas PGRI Palembang Academic Year 2016/2017. The sample in this research is class 5B (control class) and 5C (experiment class). Data collection with self-study test and questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using t-test statistic and t'-test. The result of the research shows that (1) the improvement of students' learning outcomes taught by using Blended Learning model is higher than students who are taught with ordinary learning both overall and based on the level of early math ability (high, medium and low), (2) improvement of learning independence students who were taught using the Blended Learning model were higher than students who were taught with ordinary learning in terms of overall, high and moderate levels of math skills, but not higher at lower levels. In this paper will be discussed more life insurance, as the development now there are types of insurance combined with investment, which is popular with the term Unit Link insurance. Unit link Syariah began to be launched as one of the fulfilment of the high needs of the community, the privilege of the product Unit of Islamic links is actually located in the elements of the laws in accordance with Islamic Syariah. The issues that will be discussed are how to get a single premium model of life insurance unit link Syariah with life insurance and investment fund allocation invested in investment product with a big interest rate of risk (financial approach) and investment product with the value of return maximum (actuarial approach). The resulting model is then implemented in case of examples by comparing the two approaches to see the shortcomings and advantages of Unit link lifetime life insurance when compared to life insurance. The result obtained from this research is the benefit obtained from Unit-linked sharia insurance on average will be greater if compared with life insurance for life, maximum benefit will be obtained Insurance Unit Link of sharia using actuarial approach compared to financial, but benefit with a relative financial approach more stable than actuarial approaches that tend to fluctuate. The development procedure used is Borg and Gall procedure which has been modified by Sugiyono. The procedure used is limited to only 7 steps from 10 steps: potential and problem, information gathering, product design, design validation, design improvement, small and large scale test until product revision. This study produces a mathematics learning media that has been declared valid and fit to be used as a whole as a medium of learning by 3 Expert material who scored an average of 3.67 and 2 media experts who scored an average of 3.59 with each score the maximum of validity is 4. While the attractiveness test of instructional media is stated "Very Interesting" by small group test which gets average score 3,4 and big group test with average score 3,8 with each score maximize attractiveness is 4. So it can be concluded that the development of instructional media produced is considered feasible and can be used as a medium of mathematics learning. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Taking the subject in this study is to use purposive sampling techniques. Being the subject of research is the students of SMP PGRI Class VII as much as 35 Bandar Lampung academic year 2017/2018. Data technique used is test method, questionnaire, observation, and interview. Data analysis is done descriptively qualitative. This research looks at mathematical thinking based on students' multiple intelligences. Students are Linguistic Intelligence, Logic-Mathematics and Spatial Intelligence. Each intelligence of multiple intelligences capable of reading the problem well, able to store information, images of different mathematical symbols. Being able to understand what to do, have ideas to math symbols. Students can make mathematical formulas clearly, able to differentiate, equate, integrate, classify between variables analyze, summarize, criticize, predict, compose, build, plan, discover, renew, ner, strengthen, beautify, compose. Students who have the tendency of intelligence Linguistic Intelligence how to translate keywords used word for word more compiled. This development research uses 7 stages from 10 stages of borg and gall method that are potential and problem, collecting preliminary data, product design, validation, revision, trial, product revision and mass production. Blog learning media developed with the help of adobe flash aimed at providing some animation. The assessment instrument used is a feasibility questionnaire by media experts, materials experts, and student feedback. The result of the research is 1) Based on validation of material expert evaluation, the average score of 4.65 is in the category of "Very Good". Assessment of media experts gives an average rating of 4.35 so that the assessment in the category of assessment of "Very Good". The assessment of linguists gives an average rating of 4.5 which is included in the "Excellent" rating. In addition, in a small-scale test of the students obtained a score of 4.23 on the criteria of "Very Good", and while tested large-scale average test score of students responses is 4.19 obtained "Good" criteria. Thus it is concluded that the learning media that have been developed are in a good category and can be used in learning especially Trigonometry material.
