  • Reflection of K.H. Ahmad Dahlan’s educational ideas for school

      Abstract: This research was aimed to reflect the form of K.H. Ahmad Dahlan’s educational ideas in schools. The kind of this reasearch was qualitative with multi sites approach. Reasearch was conducted at MTs Muhammadiyah 2 and Muhammadiyah 1 Vocational School – Trenggalek.The object of this research was the form of K.H. Ahmad Dahlan’s educational ideas whereas the subject was all the schools administrators. Data were collected through deep interview, documentation and observation techniques. Data validity was tested with; credibility, transferability, and confirmability. Data analysis model was interractionally each other; data reduction, data presentation, conclusion withdrawal, and verification. The research result were; first, at MTs Muhammadiyah 2, the form of K.H. Ahmad dahlan’s educational ideas covered: Muhammadiyah values, such as (a). TBC eradication, worry attitude towards the improvement of fundamentalist religious culture in the society (LDII), (b). Willingness to sacrifice attitude grown by the school founders’ core team, organizers, and administarators; (c). The spirit of dakwah and dedication for the nation and the religion. Second, at Muhammadiyah 1 Vocational School, it covered (a). Charity effort movement for all (rahmatan lilalamin); (b). Amar maruf nahy munkar was formed in the construction of all field of life, (c). Working was the spirit of movement organization.

  • Internalisasi nilai-nilai kejuangan Jenderal Soedirman dalam pendidikan
           karakter di SMA Taruna Nusantara

      Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) nilai-nilai kejuangan Jenderal Soedirman yang diinternalisasi; (2) proses internalisasi nilai-nilai kejuangan Jenderal Soedirman; dan (3) efektivitas internalisasi nilai-nilai kejuangan Jenderal Soedirman di SMA Taruna Nusantara. Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model analisis data kualitatif Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai kejuangan Jenderal Soedirman yang diinternalisasi di SMA Taruna Nusantara belum dirumuskan secara eksplisit. Internalisasi nilai-nilai kejuangan Jenderal Soedirman dilaksanakan pada tahapan pertama pendidikan karakter, menggunakan pendekatan inspiratif dan pola tindak pengajaran, pengasuhan, dan pelatihan. Internalisasi nilai-nilai kejuangan Jenderal Soedirman di SMA Taruna Nusantara telah memberikan pengetahuan moral (moral knowing) kepada para siswa. Nilai-nilai tersebut diinternalisasi oleh para siswa sehingga mereka memiliki perasaan moral (moral feeling). Dalam menghadapi permasalahan hidup, mereka mengaktualisasikan nilai-nilai kejuangan Jenderal Soedirman tersebut sebagai perilaku moral (moral action).Kata kunci: nilai kejuangan, internalisasi nilai, dan pendidikan karakter THE GENERAL SUDIRMAN STRUGGLE VALUES INTERNALIZATION IN CHARACTER EDUCATION IN TARUNA NUSANTARA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLAbstractThis study aims to describe: (1) the General Sudirman struggle values which are internalized; (2) the process of the General Sudirman struggle value internalization; and (3) the effectiveness of the General Sudirman struggle values internalization in Taruna Nusantara Senior High School. This study is a qualitative descriptive by using phenomenology approach. Data collection using interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The data analysis used Miles & Huberman qualitative data analysis model. The study findings are the General Sudirman struggle values which are internalized in Taruna Nusantara Senior High School have not explicitly formulated.  The General Sudirman struggle values internalization done in the first step of character education, using inspirative and teaching pattern approach, parenting, and training. The General Sudirman struggle values internalization in Taruna Nusantara Senior High School Magelang has effectively given moral knowing. Those values then internalized by the students so that they have moral feeling. In facing life problem, they actualize the General Sudirman Struggle Values as moral action.Keywords: struggle values, value internalization, character education

  • Modal sosial dan media sosial pada masyarakat cyber di Desa Melung,
           Kabupaten Banyumas

      Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) penggunaan media sosial, (2) memetakan modal sosial, dan (3) menganalisis peran modal sosial dalam membentuk pola penggunaan media sosial yang ada pada masyarakat cyber di desa Melung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan kajian fenomenologi. Unit analisisnya adalah masyarakat desa Melung. Data primer diperoleh dari hasil wawancara terhadap berbagai kategori informan di desa Melung. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data, mereduksi data, dan verifikasi yang dilakukan secara bertahap. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa media sosial di desa Melung digunakan sebagai media promosi bagi masyarakat untuk mempromosikan desa mereka sebagai desa wisata. Keberadaan media sosial dan pemanfaatanya sebagai media promosi didukung oleh kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap kepala desa. Kpercayaan masyarakat terhadap kepala desa berperan sebagai modal sosial yang ada di desa Melung. Keberadaan modal sosial yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat berperan sebagai pembentuk masyarakat cyber dan juga faktor utama terealisasinya pembangunan jaringan interenet di desa Melung.Kata kunci: media sosial, masyarakat cyber, modal sosial SOCIAL CAPITAL AND SOCIAL MEDIA IN CYBER SOCIETY IN THE MELUNG VILLAGE, REGENCY OF BANYUMASAbstractThis study aims to describe: (1) the use of social media, (2) mapping social capital, and (3) analyzing the role of social capital in shaping the patterns of using social media that exist in the cyber community in Melung village. This research used qualitative approach with phenomenology study. The unit of analysis is Melung village society. Primary data were obtained from interview on various categories of informants in Melung village. Data analysis was done by collecting data, reducing data, and verification which done in stages. The results showed that social media in Melung village was used as a media campaign for the community to promote their village as a tourist village. The existence of social media and their use was supported by the public's trust in the village head. The public's trust in the village head served as a social capital in the village Melung. The role of social capital that exists was as reinforcement in shaping the cyber community and the main factor of the realization, construction of the interenet network in the Melung  village.Keywords: social media, cyber society, social capital

  • Inculcating tolerance by multicultural based PPKn learning

      Abstract: This study aims to: (1) describe the teaching conditions of multicultural-based PPKn implemented by SMA in DIY, (2) produce a feasible model of teaching PPKn based on multi-culture for inculcating tolerance for senior high school students , (3) find out the effectiveness of developed teaching model. This research was research and development adopting the procedural model of Borg & Gall. The procedures were divided into four phases, namely: (1) the needs analysis phase (2) the development stage of models and expert judgment (3) testing and refining the model, and (4) dissemination phase. The experiment was conducted at SMA Jetis, SMA 2 Bantul, and SMA 2 Wates. The Subjects were teachers and students of XI class of those SMAs. The data analysis used the descriptive analysis and t-test to determine the effectiveness of the product. The results of the reaseach are as follow. First, the teaching of PPKn in SMA in DIY is still conventional and not yet exploring multicultural values. Second, teaching model of multicultural-based PPKn declared eligible by material experts, instructional experts and assessment of the teachers. And the third, the teaching model developed is effectively used in the teaching and learning. This is indicated by the significant differences in learning outcomes between the experimental and control groups. The effectiveness is proved by using t test that the result is significant (p <0.05), and the mean of experiment group is higher than the mean of the control group.

      Abstract: Penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan tentang proses penanaman nilai-nilai moral melalui kegiatan bercerita di RA Plus Darussalam Bojonegoro, meliputi: (1) nilai-nilai moral yang ditanamkan; (2) pelaksanaan; (3) faktor penghambat dan faktor pendukung. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru, dan anak. Pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian adalah (1) nilai-nilai moral yang ditanamkan religius, kejujuran, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatifitas, kemandirian, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, bersahabat/ komunikatif, cinta damai, gemar membaca, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab; (2) proses terdiri dari (a) adanya perencanaan sebelum kegiatan bercerita yang tertuang dalam bentuk RPPM dan RPPH; (b) media yang digunakan buku pilar, buku cerita, boneka tangan, menggambar menggunakan spidol, dan video; (c) evaluasi yang digunakan penilaian formatif yaitu observasi (pengamatan), percakapan, dan unjuk kerja; (d) hasilnya adalah pengetahuan anak menjadi lebih luas, anak bisa membedakan baik buruk, anak menceritakan kembali isi cerita, perilaku anak setelah dibacakan cerita menjadi baik mencontoh dari cerita yang sebelumnya disampaikan guru; (3) faktor penghambat yaitu keras lemahnya dan tinggi nada suara saat guru bercerita belum terlihat, kekayaan bahasa yang dimiliki guru masih kurang, adanya dua kelas yang dijadikan satu; (4) faktor pendukungyaitu anak mendapatkan cerita dari rumah, guru diberikan berbagai macam pelatihan termasuk pelatihan mendongeng, tersedianya berbagai macam buku cerita, perilaku guru menjadi teladan yang baik bagi anak.Kata kunci: moral, bercerita, anak usia dini  CULTIVATING MORAL VALUES THROUGH STORYTELLING ACTIVITYAbstractThis study aimed to describe the cultivation of moral values through storytelling in RA Plus Darussalam Bojonegoro, including: (1) the moral values inculcated; (2) implementation; (3) inhibiting factors and supporting factors.This research is a qualitative case study. The subjects of this study consisted of principals, teachers, and children. The collection of data is through observation, interviews, and documentation.The results of research moral values inculcated (1) religious, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creativity, independence, democratic, curiosity, respect for the achievements, friendly/communicative, love peace, likes to read, care for the environment, social care, responsibility; (2)the process consists of (a) there is availability of planning before telling a story in the forms of RPPM and RPPH; (b) the implementation tells the media used there are five kindspillars book, story books, puppets, drawing using markers, and video; (c) evaluation used is formative assessment, that is observation, conversation, and performance;(d)The result of the planting of moral values through the activity of storytelling is the knowledge of the child becomes more widespread, the child differentiate good bad, the children recount the contents of the story, the child's behavior after being read the story to be well modeled from the previous story submitted by the teacher;(3) inhibiting factors include loud weakness and high tone of voice when the teacher told the story has not been seen, the richness of the language owned by the teacher is still lacking and just reading the book only; the existence of two classes that are combined into one; (4) the supporting factorschildren get stories from home, the teachers have been given a wide range of training including training of storytelling, the availability of various story books; (d) the behavior of the teachers in being a good example for the children.Keywords: moral, storytelling, early childhood

  • Pengembangan modul pembelajaran aksara jawa “Dinta Swara” dalam huruf
           Braille untuk siswa tunanetra

      Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) menghasilkan modul pembelajaran aksara Jawa“dinta swara” yang sesuai untuk siswa tunanetra, dan (2) mengukur efektifitas modul pembelajaran aksara Jawa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa tunanetra mengenai baca tulis aksara Jawa dalam huruf Braille. Pengembangan modul pembelajaran ini dilakukan melalui studi pendahuluan, pembuatan desain produk, produk akhir, dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modul pembelajaran aksara Jawa dalam huruf Braille efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa tunanetra mengenai pelajaran bahasa Jawa, khususnya dalam materi baca tulis aksara Jawa. Peningkatan kemampuan tersebut terlihat dari hasil pretest dan posttest yang dilakukan. Pada pretest uji coba kelompok kecil diperoleh hasil 40,00, pada posttest uji coba kelompok kecil diperoleh hasil 7,33. Sedangkan pada pretest uji coba lapangan lebih luas diperoleh hasil 44,00, dan pada posttest uji coba lapangan lebih luas diperoleh hasil 70,66.Kata kunci: modul pembelajaran, aksara jawa, huruf braille, siswa tunanetra  DEVELOPING A MODULE FOR THE LEARNING OF THE JAVANESE ALPHABET “DINTA SWARA” IN BRAILLE FOR BLIND STUDENTAbstractThis study aims to: (1) produce a module of learning Java script "dinta swara" appropriate for blind students, and (2) measure the effectiveness of Javanese script module in improving the ability of students with visual impairment about reading Javanese script in Braille. The development of this learning module is done through preliminary study, product design, final product, and evaluation. The results showed that the Javanese script module in Braille is effective in improving the ability of blind students on Javanese lesson, especially in Javanese literacy reading material. Improvement of ability is seen from result of pretest and posttest done. In the small group trial pretest obtained 40.00 results, in small group trial posttest obtained results 7.33.       Abstract: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menggali kembali nilai-nilai kearifan lokal masa lalu seperti dalam Serat Tripama Karya Mangkunegara IV sehingga dapat dibedakan mana yang harus diteladani dan mana yang tidak tetapi dapat dijadikan materi analisis nilai dalam pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan interpretasi, hermeneutik, dan verstehen. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis data model interaktif yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah tidak semua nilai dapat dijadikan sumber keteladanan bagi pembentukan karakter peserta didik.  Nilai yang dapat diteladani adalah nilai niat yang baik, pengabdian yang tulus disertai dengan usaha, dan kerelaan berkorban pada kebenaran.Kata kunci: pendidikan karakter, serat tripama, Mangkunegara IV CHARACTER EDUCATION IN SERAT TRIPAMA BY MANGKUNEGARA IVAbstractThe purpose of this research is to dig again values local knowledge the past as work in the Serat Tripama Mangkunegara iv so as to be distinguishable which one to role models all and which ones have not but can be used as matter analysis value in learning. Methods used was a qualitative methodology with the approach interpretation, hermeneutic, and verstehen. Technique the analysis used is interactive data analysis model consisting of data collection, reduction data, presentation of data, and verification.       Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui indikator Sekolah Kreatif di Sekolah Dasar (SD). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah kepala sekolah dan guru SD Muhammadiyah 16 Surabaya (Sekolah Kreatif). Analisa data dengan reduksi, kategorisasi dan intepretasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa indikator yang bisa dicapai oleh sekolah untuk membuat sekolah lebih kreatif adalah pengembangan sistem gagasan dan ide, pengembangan sistem sosial dalam aktivitas belajar, dan penciptaan sistem lingkungan sekolah yang sinergis antar unsur sekolahKata kunci: sekolah kreatif THE INDICATORS OF CREATIVE SCHOOLAbstractThis research is aimed at revealing the indicators of creative school in emelentary schools.   • Penanaman nilai-nilai religius di madrasah aliyah Nahdlatul Wathan Pancor

      Abstract: Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk; (1) mengetahui dan mengkaji upaya penanaman nilai-nilai religius di Madrasah Aliyah Nahdlatul Wathan Pancor Lombok Timur; (2) menganalisis faktor-faktor penghambat pengembangan nilai-nilai religius di Madrasah Aliyah Nahdlatul Wathan Pancor Lombok Timur. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian dilakukan di Madrasah Aliyah Nahdlatul Wathan Kelurahan Pancor Kabupaten Lombok Timur Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, display data, penarikan serta pengujian kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Penanaman  nilai-nilai religius di Madrasah Aliyah Nahdlatul Wathan Pancor ditempuh melalui beberapa upaya, yakni: (a) melalui kegiatan belajar mengajar di dalam kelas maupun di luar kelas melalui kegiatan keagamaan; (b) menggunakan berbagai strategi; serta (c) menjalin kerja sama sekolah dengan orang tua siswa; (2) faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penanaman nilai-nilai religius berasal dari faktor guru, siswa, dan orang tua siswa.Kata kunci: nilai, religius, perilaku keagamaan siswa  INCULCATING RELIGIOUS VALUES IN MADRASAH ALIYAH NAHDLATUL WATHAN PANCOR EAST LOMBOKAbstractThis research is intended for: (1) knowing and reviewing the effort of inculcating religious values in Madrasah Aliyah Nahdlatul Wathan Pancor East Lombok; (2) analyzing the factors that hamper the Inculcating of religious values in Madrasah Aliyah Nahdlatul Wathan Pancor East Lombok. The method used in this research is case study method with qualitative approach. The research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah Nahdlatul Wathan, Pancor Sub-District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data display, and drawing and verifying conclusions. The results showed that: (1) inculcating of religious values in Madrasah Aliyah Nahdlatul Wathan Pancor taken through several efforts, namely: (a) through teaching and learning activities in the classroom or outside the classroom through religious activities; (b) using various strategies, and (c) establish school cooperation with parents of students; (2) factors influencing the inculcating of religious values are derived from teachers, students, and parents.Keywords: values, religious, student’s religious behavior
