  • A resiliência do oprimido e a emergência do movimento da economia
           solidária – Uma questão de esperança

      Abstract: Neste artigo, abordamos a Pedagogia-educação Social do oprimido, na ótica de Paulo Freire relacionando-a com a emergência do Movimento da Economia Solidária, equacionando esta questão à luz da noção de resiliência, cientes de que tal reflexão pode dar um importante contributo para perspetivar as suas particularidades e condicionantes, bem como a avaliação dos seus resultados. A libertação do estado de opressão não acontece isoladamente, uma vez que o homem é um ser social, inserido nas múltiplas dimensões conflituais da sociedade, palco onde a conscientização e a transformação social se operam. É neste contexto, que a emergência do Movimento da Economia Solidária abre importantes perspetivas. Com efeito, é essencial ter presente que a liberdade que o oprimido deseja e que o irá libertar dessa condição de adversidade em que mergulha juntamente com o seu opressor, tem que ser conquistada por seu próprio esforço resiliente e em comunhão com os outros; tal como afirmou Paulo Freire, “ninguém liberta ninguém e ninguém se liberta sozinho: os homens se libertam em comunhão”.Palavras-chave: Resiliência do Oprimido. Transformação e transição societal.The resilience of the oppressed and the emergency of the movement of the solidarity economy. A matter of hope In this article, Social Education-Pedagogy of the Oppressed is approached from the viewpoint of Paulo Freire, linking this issue to the emergence of the Solidarity Economy Movement; we also intend to equate this issue in the light of the concept of resilience, since it would help to understand their main characteristics and constraints as well as the evaluation of his results. The liberation from oppression does not happen by itself, since man is a social being inserted in the multiple dimensions of a conflictual society, where awareness and social transformation takes place. Indeed, it is essential to bear in mind that Oppressed’s freedom, that will release him from adversity condition that is plunging him, but also his oppressor, must be conquered by its own resilient effort and in the framework of communion with others; as Paulo Freire said, "no one liberates anyone and no one liberates himself: men are freed together with each other".Keywords: Resilience of the oppressed.   • El docente inmigrante “irregular” en Ecuador: reto del derecho
           a la educación

      Abstract: La presencia de docentes extranjeros en las instituciones educativas ecuatorianos forma parte de su actualidad. Personas que han abandonado sus países de origen por circunstancias como conflictos sociales, económicos, o laborales. Inmigrantes que vienen a ejercer entre las distintas profesiones la docencia, siendo partícipes de la elaboración de un ambicioso proyecto político y social que es el sumak Kawsay, y que tiene como eje fundamental el reconocimiento de la persona y sus categorías personales. Así su dignidad es la base elemental de la educación intercultural como propuesta de relación con el entorno, tanto nacional como supranacional. Este trabajo tiene por objeto fomentar el debate sobre la relevancia de promover una cultura política educativa que permita cuestionar y coadyuvar al desarrollo de esta utopía latinoamericana que supone el buen vivir por cuanto alternativa de refiere. De este modo, a través de la hermenéutica normativa se parte de la investigación de la realidad educativa constitucional para situar la contradicción política y jurídica que supone la incursión por vía reglamentaria del artículo 33.2 del Reglamento a la Ley de Extranjería del Ecuador, la discriminación del docente inmigrante y el lastre para la educación intercultural que supone el revestimiento jurídico del ego nacionalista.Palabras clave: Legislación educativa. Educación inclusiva.Illegal immigrant teachers in Ecuador: the challenge of right to education The presence of foreign teachers in the Ecuadorian educational institutions is part of this country current moment. People who have left their birthplaces by different circumstances, for example social, economic, security or labor conflicts. Immigrants who come to work in teaching among different professions, and who are also participants in the development of an ambitious political and social project called sumak Kawsay; which has as its main idea the recognition of the person and his or her personal categories. In this sense, the dignity of the person is the elemental basis of intercultural education as a proposal of relationship with the surrounding context, both national and supranational. The purpose of this work is to encourage the debate about the importance of promoting an educational policy culture that allows the questioning and contribution to the development of Latin American utopia that assumes “el buen vivir” as an alternative.  Thus, through the hermeneutic rules, the investigation starts with the constitutional educational reality to place political and legal contradiction that supposes the incursion by regulation of Article 33.2 of Regulations to the Immigration Law of Ecuador, the discrimination of the immigrant teacher and the obstacle for intercultural education that presumes a legal lining of nationalist ego.Keywords: Educational Legislation.       Abstract: A Educação Especial é apresentada como uma disciplina específica que acaba por segregar o alunado objeto de seus discursos teóricos e práticos em uma identidade especial. Ao encarar o outro a partir de sua diferença, este é considerado um elemento perturbador da mesmidade, como se esta realmente existisse. O objetivo deste texto é mostrar, através do conceito de identidade, os sentidos presentes quando se fala em uma Educação Especial. Aborda-se o conceito de identidade utilizado na Modernidade e sua relação com a visão da deficiência. Trata-se do papel da escola e os sentidos assumidos pela Educação Especial na Modernidade. Por fim, apresentam-se os movimentos de ruptura assumidos na Atualidade e suas consequências na e para a Educação.Palavras-chave: Identidade. Diferença. Educação Especial. Modernidade. Special Education is presented as a specific discipline which eventually segregates the object student group of its theoretical and practical discourse within a special identity. By facing the other from its differences, it is considered just as a disturbing element of sameness, as if it really exists. The main goal of this text is to show the current meanings through the concept of identity when talking about Special Education. The concept of identity is approached as used in Modern Times and as related to the view of disability. The role of school is discussed as well as the meanings of Special Education in Modern Times.   • Ensino superior: docência e formação continuada

      Abstract: O artigo, decorrente de uma pesquisa do tipo Estudo de Caso, tem como foco a docência no ensino superior e a formação continuada, numa Instituição de Ensino Superior pertencente a uma rede privada de ensino, localizada no estado do Rio Grande do Sul. Participaram do estudo 28 docentes, sendo 4 do Curso de Administração, 4 de Biomedicina, 3 de Ciências Contábeis, 10 de Direito, 4 de Fisioterapia e 3 de Pedagogia, sendo deste grupo 14 do sexo masculino e 14 do feminino, cujo tempo de atuação na referida Instituição situa-se entre 0 e cinco anos.  Para a coleta dos dados, foi aplicado um questionário com questões abertas e fechadas. Os dados foram categorizados em quatro eixos temáticos, por meio da aplicação da Técnica de Análise de Conteúdo. Os achados indicam a relevância da formação didático-pedagógica articulada aos conhecimentos específicos da área de atuação como um dos fatores que contribuem para os processos de ensino e aprendizagem. Também, o incentivo e a promoção da formação continuada, por parte da Instituição em que os docentes atuam, são elementos considerados necessários para o aprimoramento da ação educativa no ensino superior.Palavras chave: Ensino Superior. Formação continuada.Higher education: teaching and continuing education The article, stemming from a search type Case Study, focuses on teaching in higher education and continuing education in a private institution of higher education, located in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. The study included 28 teachers from the following courses: Administration (4), Biomedicine (4), Accounting (3), Law (10), Physical Therapy (4), and Pedagogy (3); this group consisted of 14 males and 14 females, whose time performance in that institution was between 0 and five years. To collect data it was used a questionnaire with open and closed questions. Data were categorized into four themes, through the application of content analysis technique. The findings indicate the importance of teaching-training pedagogy articulated to the specific knowledge of the area of operation as one of the factors that contributes to the teaching and learning processes. Also, the encouraging and promoting of continuing education, by the institution in which teachers work, are elements considered necessary for the improvement of educational work in higher education.Keywords: Higher education.       Abstract: Este artigo tem como objetivo discutir o desempenho organizacional através da avaliação de medidas de eficiências de indicadores de sustentabilidade. Propõe, então, a comparar, por meio de estudo de caso, como empresas do setor de papel e celulose no Brasil se comportam em relação a temas relevantes para o seu negócio, aplicando o modelo DEA com inputs e outputs que retratem a sua preocupação (ou envolvimento) com as questões relacionadas a sustentabilidade. Escolheu-se o modelo DEA CCR orientado a inputs, com a finalidade de reduzir os insumos que alimentam o sistema sem alterar o output. Os inputs foram a quantidade de água utilizada no processo industrial e as emissões de CO2. Para o output considerou-se a Receita Líquida das empresas. Os resultados demonstram não só qual das empresas é a mais eficiente, como também refletem o comportamento do setor no Brasil.Palavras-chave: Indicadores. Sustentabilidade. Eficiência. Efficiency analysis using sustainability indicators This paper aims to discuss the organizational performance through the assessment of the efficiency of sustainability indicators. It intends to compare, using a case study, how companies from paper and cellulose industry behave towards relevant themes to their business, applying a DEA model with inputs and outputs that represent their concern (or involvement) on sustainability. We chose the DEA CCR input-oriented, the goal was to reduce the inputs without changing the output. The inputs were the amount of water used in the industrial process and the CO2 emissions. For the output we used the net revenue of the assessed companies. The results show not only which of the companies is the most efficient, but also reflect the industry’s behavior in Brazil.Keywords: Indicators. Sustainability. Efficiency. DEA.

  • É possível ensinar a genética para alunos cegos?

      Abstract: O uso de modelos tridimensionais é uma estratégia que facilita ensinar temas considerados difíceis para muitos professores no ensino médio, mesmo para classes que não têm alunos com necessidades educacionais especiais. Tivemos como objetivo, portanto, desenvolver um modelo tátil que auxiliasse na compreensão da estrutura do DNA e de sua replicação. Para tanto, adaptamos os passos descritos por Miotto para a construção de modelos táteis. O resultado foi a construção da matriz e das estruturas básicas da molécula de DNA, em papelão coberto com diferentes texturas. As placas de acetato em alto relevo foram preparadas após a aprovação por um aluno cego, que informou que a escala e as texturas escolhidas possibilitaram a identificação da estrutura como um todo e de suas partes, que foram testadas e aprovadas por alunos cegos na sala de recursos de uma Escola Pública Estadual.Palavras-chave: Construtivismo. The use of three-dimensional models is a strategy that facilitates teaching contents considered difficult for many high school teachers even in classes that do not have students with special educational needs. Our objective was to develop a tactile model that helps the understanding of the DNA structure and its replication. To achieve this, we adapted the steps proposed by Miotto for the production of tactile models. As a result, we constructed the matrix of the basic structures of the DNA molecule in cardboard covered with different textures. After approval by a blind student, who reported that the scale and textures chosen allowed identification of the structure as a whole and its parts, we prepared the high relief acetate plates.       Abstract: Objetivou-se compreender como a assistência estudantil ocorre no IFES Campus Santa Teresa, ES Para atingir-se o objetivo, utilizou-se como metodologia a pesquisa avaliativa e qualitativa que compreende uma aplicação sistemática de procedimentos de pesquisa para acessar a concepção, o desenho, a implementação e as utilidades da assistência estudantil no Campus. Os sujeitos foram alunos da Graduação em Agronomia, beneficiários do programa de Assistência Estudantil, alimentação e moradia. Os dados foram obtidos a partir de questionários com perguntas abertas. A análise foi realizada tendo a pesquisa avaliativa como perspectiva. Destacamos a eficácia dos programas de assistência estudantil do Campus, tendo em vista que a maioria das respostas não apresentou fragilidade. Ouvir os beneficiários do programa trouxe à tona a importância de divulgar para a comunidade informações como correção anual dos valores, desburocratização do processo, informatização das inscrições e dos controles dos programas disponíveis para a população. A maior parte dos estudantes apontou como fragilidade as ações internas da assistência estudantil para a comunidade.Palavras-chave: Programas sociais. Pesquisa avaliativa. Aluno.The perception of students, IFES – Santa Teresa Campus on student assistance This study aims to understand how the student assistance has been given in the IFES campus in Santa Teresa, Espírito Santo. To achieve this overall goal, it was used as evaluative research methodology, a type of qualitative research comprising a systematic application of research procedures to access the conception, design, implementation and utility of the social programs assistance occurring in IFES. The research subjects are students of the technical course and graduation, that are the beneficiaries of the Student Assistance programs. To get the data, questionnaires with open questions were applied to the students. Data analysis was performed with the evaluative research as perspective. As a result of this study, we can highlight the effectiveness of student assistance programs in the IFES campus of Santa Teresa, given that most of the answers did not represent weakness. However, the voice of the beneficiaries of this program brought to light the importance of disclosing more for the community about the programs available to the public, since most of the students appointed as fragility the internal actions of the student assistance for the community.Keywords: Social programs.   • Incidência de preconceito racial em professores: um preditor de fracasso
           escolar de estudantes?

      Abstract: Este trabalho resulta da investigação da incidência do preconceito racial em professores da rede pública, considerando sua relação com a produção de ações que levem ao fracasso escolar dos discentes. A metodologia foi quantitativa, exploratório-descritiva. Participaram 201 professores de ambos os sexos, entre 25 e 59 anos, do Ensino Fundamental público de Floriano/PI, correspondendo a 44,46% da amostra significativa da localidade. Os dados foram coletados com a Escala de Racismo Moderno e analisados estatisticamente pelo programa GraphPadPrism para estimar aspectos da categorização e variáveis envolvidas acerca do preconceito racial. Constatou-se que a discriminação é expressa de forma silenciada, por meio do falso mito da democracia racial: embora os entrevistados tenham-se declarado isentos de preconceitos, os conteúdos de suas concepções mostram o contrário.Palavras-chave: Preconceito racial. Professores. Desempenho Escolar. Fracasso.The incidence of racial prejudice on teachers: a predictor of school failure of students? This work results from an investigation on the incidence of racial prejudice on public school teachers, considering their relationship with the production of actions that lead to the school failure of the students. The method was quantitive, exploratory and descriptive. The study consisted on 201 teachers of both genders, between 25 and 59 years old, which belong to a public elementary school of the city of Floriano/PI, corresponding to 44.46% of the representative sample of the locality. Data were collected with the modern racism scale, and statistically analyzed by GraphPadPrism program to estimate aspects of categorization, and variables involved in racial prejudice. It was found that the discrimination was expressed in a muted way through the false myth of racial democracy: although the teachers had declared themselves free of prejudices, the contents of their conceptions show otherwise.Keywords: Racial prejudice.   • A marca própria e os seus aspectos negociais: um estudo de caso

      Abstract: Atualmente, as marcas comerciais surgem como atributos de diferenciação e de vantagem competitiva, criando valor para as empresas de varejo. Neste sentido, elas geralmente têm seus produtos associados a preços mais acessíveis, possibilitando a incorporação de um nicho de mercado ao negócio de supermercados e redes de lojas, além de gerar maior rentabilidade. Este estudo se propôs a examinar os aspectos relacionados à origem e ao fortalecimento de uma marca própria por meio de um estudo de caso. O objetivo geral consiste em investigar o desenvolvimento de uma marca própria em uma empresa de produtos naturais. A metodologia adotada é a da pesquisa descritiva, com dados qualitativos obtidos a partir de um estudo de caso único. A coleta de dados foi efetivada via entrevista com o diretor-executivo e a gerente de desenvolvimento de produtos de uma empresa do ramo de alimentos saudáveis. Os resultados demonstram, principalmente, que o desenvolvimento da marca própria pesquisada requereu análise criteriosa dos hábitos dos consumidores; determinação dos objetivos estratégicos; diferenciação competitiva por meio de escolha precisa de fornecedores; investimento maciço em marketing; além de diversificação dos veículos de comunicação.Palavras-chave: Marca. Branding.The private label and its negotiation aspects: a case study Nowadays, trademarks appear as differentiating attributes and competitive advantage, creating value for retail companies. In this way, private labels usually have their products associated with more affordable prices, enabling the incorporation of market niches to supermarkets and chain stores, in addition to higher profitability. This study aimed to examine the issues related to the origin and strengthening of a private label through a case study. The overall objective is to investigate the development of a private label in a company of natural products. The methodology adopted is this study can be classified as an applied research, descriptive and qualitative data obtained through a case study approach. Data collection for the completion of the case study approach was carried out by an interview with the executive director and the product development manager. The results show mainly that the development of a private label required careful analysis of consumers’ habits; determination of strategic objectives; competitive differentiation through careful selection of suppliers; massive investment in marketing and media diversification.Keywords: Brand.       Abstract: A educação tem sido uma constante preocupação no cenário mundial e brasileiro. Nela são colocadas as esperanças de construção de dias melhores, a partir da constituição de sociedades humanitárias, compostas de seres humanos solidários, emancipados, críticos e conscientes de seu papel enquanto cidadãos, considerando-se os estudos de Freire através da perspectiva sociocultural. A partir dessas considerações, o problema que moveu esta pesquisa foi a relação entre a abordagem sociocultural e o estabelecimento de utopias que se encontram contempladas no Projeto Pedagógico do Curso de Licenciatura Educação Física da Faculdade La Salle de Lucas do Rio Verde. A partir do objetivo geral, foram analisados os seguintes aspectos: as estruturas fundamentais do ser humano nos aspectos somáticos, psíquicos e espirituais; as relações fundamentais do ser humano: relação de objetividade com o mundo, a relação de intersubjetividade com o outro, a relação de transcendência com o absoluto e as potencialidades do ser humano, incluindo afeto, inteligência e vontade. Foi realizada pesquisa qualitativa descritiva e documental, aplicada a partir do método hipotético dedutivo. Com base nos autores estudados consideramos que as estruturas fundamentais do ser humano encontram-se contempladas no Projeto Pedagógico do Curso de Licenciatura Educação Física da Faculdade La Salle de Lucas do Rio Verde – MT.Palavras-chave: Abordagem sociocultural. Educação.The dynamics of educational relations and the construction of utopias in the Pedagogical Project: the transcendence with the other and the absolute Education has been a constant concern in the world and Brazilian scenario. In it, the hopes of constructing better days are set out, starting with the constitution of humanitarian societies, composed of human beings who are supportive, emancipated, critical and aware of their role as citizens, considering Freire's studies from a sociocultural perspective. From these considerations, the problem that moved this research was the relationship between the sociocultural approach and the establishment of utopias that are contemplated in the Pedagogical Project of the Undergraduate Course in Physical Education from Faculdade La Salle de Lucas do Rio Verde. From those general objectives, the following aspects were analyzed: the fundamental structures of the human being in the somatic, psychic and spiritual aspects; the fundamental relationships of the human being: relationship of objectivity with the world, the relation of intersubjectivity with the other, the relationship of transcendence with the absolute and the potentialities of the human being, including affection, intelligence and will. A descriptive and documental qualitative research was applied, using the hypothetical deductive method. Based on the authors studied, we consider that the fundamental structures of the human being are contemplated in the Pedagogical Project of the Undergraduate Course in Physical Education from Faculdade La Salle de Lucas do Rio Verde.Keywords: Sociocultural approach.
