Abstract

    • Authors: Emanuela Pece
      Pages: 76 - 92
      Abstract: Resumen
Abstract
This research article aims to illustrate through a qualitative methodology a comparison between words and media frames of two newspapers: one for Italy and one for Argentina. The purpose is to highlight how the words and the frames can illustrate how the media, in some cases, are instruments able to spread among the public stereotypes and attitudes that can in turn lead to a narrowing and / or opening of relations towards the Other. News about migrants can be a few examples through which the public opinion constructs a specific image of the Other; in addition, using words such as illegal immigrant, refugee, may help in reinforcing an image able to reduce socio-cultural distances – or, conversely, to expand them. The public opinion will tend to juxtapose their own frames of interpretation to those proposed by the media, re-building a specific kind of reality filtered by the media.

      Pages: 94 - 106
      Abstract: Resumen
Abstract
This research article aims to analyze with a qualitative methodology the vision of the social sciences in Latin America from decoloniality perspective. In the expositions that underlie the idea of the exclusion and subalternization of the other knowledge, which represents a scheme of the Eurocentric-Modern model prevailing in the social sciences; for this reason, it is necessary to rethink the role of the same from the pluriversality of thought, outside the compartmentalized optics of the excessive specialization of knowledge, promoting its deconstruction and strengthening through the dialogue of knowledge. In this context, the research offers a look from decolonial thinking, not with the pretension to exercise a conclusive judgment, but to contribute one more element to this already wide.

de la identidad y la autenticidad

    • Authors: Pablo Guadarrama Gonzalez
      Pages: 108 - 136
      Abstract: Resumen
Abstract
This research article analyzes, whit a qualitative methodology, ideas of some thinkers about the place, the values and problems of identity and authenticity of Latin American culture, in its dialectical correlation between the specific nature of this and universal culture. The objective is underlining that this subject is not a merely theoretical problem, but eminently practical, because of its analysis depend on the different attitudes that are assumed in the improvement of the institutions and mechanisms of power that have different dominated the Latin American peoples.

      Abstract: Resumen
Abstract
Since the nineties of the last century Latin America is experiencing a cycle of democratic constituent processes that is usually known in the doctrine as new constitutionalism. Decades after its approval, it is necessary to analyze critically the effects of the new constitutionalism, which wanted to improve the social situation, democratize politics and transform the State. This research article raises four questions: 1. Have the Constitutions served to improve the welfare conditions of citizens' 2. Has it been possible to limit the power of the constituted organs' 3. Has inequality and poverty decreased' 4. Has the civil rights situation improved' If we are able to respond affirmatively to the previous questions, we could speak of popular constitutionalism; otherwise, we could only speak of populist constitutionalism.

      Abstract: Resumen
Abstract
Since the re-entanglement of the current society is on, the juridical experience is increasingly reluctant to fit into modern-made categories requiring to pay more attention to the characteristics of different social practices. Starting from the peculiar approach of Santi Romano’s Legal Institutionalism, this research article looks for an interpretative mold able to deal with the present juridical polymorphism, trying out its abilities and weak points by a comparison with the specific case of peace process in Colombia.

      Abstract: Resumen
Abstract
This present research article, analyze whit a qualitative methodology the political dynamics of the Kingdom of Naples between the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, what is conditioned by the progressive rise of the Collateral Council, which, through the practice of “avocazioni”, abolishes the power of the other courts by crushing the bureaucratic mediation project, elaborated at the beginning of the sixteenth century, based on the possibility of creating an autonomous administrative group in the Kingdom. The pourpose, is underline that the age of Philip IV is a crucial moment for the history of the imperial system: the economics crisis, political tensions and the aristocratic strenghthening of society are the elements that characterize the history of Kingdom before the revolt of 1647-48. Finally, with the restoration training and development in the ranks of the administration of a nobility “di toga” which, in the mid seventeenth century, will assert political consciousness.

      Abstract: Resumen
Abstract
The present research analyses the theoretical and methodological basis for the realization of a lexicon-grammar of Spanish language. With a qualitative methodology, the article starts from the Harris’ distributional and transformational principles, whose translatable aspects are illustrated in descriptive applications, also assuming that all the theoretical and methodological aspects refer to the ideas and the project of Maurice Gross from the late sixties to the beginning of 2000. The objective will be to demonstrate that the lexicon-grammar consists of the syntactic analysis of language on a taxonomic basis, considering all the concrete words that play an important role in the construction of speeches and sentences: first, verbs, nouns and adjectives in structures with supporting verbs; also prepositions play an important role.

  • Caribe, corazón de la modernidad

    • Authors: Marcos Quieroz
      Pages: 234 - 250
      Abstract: Resumen
Abstract
The essay is an attempt to construct another perspective on modernity from the Caribbean. Seeking to understand a long-term history - in which the Haitian Revolution and the Cuban Revolution emerge as interpretive keys - themes, categories and fundamental concepts of the description of modern world are revisited. Thus, Caribbean flows are brought to face the silences, pauses and counter-rhythms articulated in the hegemonic narratives about the West, and to think of another global history open to the political polyphony engendered by imperialist expansion and by its anticolonial resistance.
