:This article revisit an open and collective art experience organized by Mirtha Dermisache in Argentina between 1975 and 1981: the Jornadas del Color y de la Forma (Work Sessions of Color and Form). In a historical context marked by censorship and state terrorism, the Jornadas distance themselves from de official speech by inviting to the present public to express freely, while they took place under state management spaces. In this work we ask ourselves about the historical, discursive and institutional conditions that made possible this artistic experience.

:In the present article, the structure of the radical political discourse of the Chilean squatters is analyzed through the case of the Partido Igualdad. The hypothesis that guides the article is that the discourse of the party has a populist logic centered on the signifier “the people” and anti-elitist elements. Although this structure coincides with contemporary literature about populism, the signifier “the people” would be limited by two other signifiers: "shared suffering" and "dignity", which restricts their possibilities of articulation.

:This paper intends to analyze the brazilian movie The second mother (Que horas ela volta', directed by Anna Muylaert), from the ideas of the postcolonial criticism, specially the notions of coloniality (Quijano), subalternity (Spivak), and decolonization of the imaginary (Akassi). We propose to investigate the aesthetic, political and social aspects present in this fiction movie, that allow us to affirm that the character Jessica represents an effort of rupture in relation to the present coloniality in the Brazilian social relations, especially with regard to the situation of northeastern women and domestic workers at the beginning of the 21st century.

:The aim of this article is to analyze in comparative and transnational perspective the movements for the homosexual liberation in Latin-America. Based on the researchers of the authors of the Argentinean and Colombian cases, and also, by the recognition of other studies, the text examines the development of these movements in Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Colombia, Perú, México and Venezuela between 1967 and 1989. The article argues that the politics of radical homosexual can be assumed as a question to the historiography that pointed them as emanations of the Anglo-Saxon activist. All in all, it studies the radical sexual politics in Latin-America and their links with national left-movements, feminists, and the States.
  • Atorrantes.

:The use of the term atorrante began to be spread among locals after 1880 and, a decade later, was already consolidated in the urban vocabulary: in popular language, the press and police narrative but also in the works of important intellectual referents. Because of the wide belief that Argentina was a country of job opportunities, the situations of absence of paid work used to be interpreted as voluntary marginality. The atorrante, who was associated with a young man, healthy and foreign, that is, the potential worker, synthesized that idea. In that same context, a sector of socialist with a marxist perspective, centered around the newspaper El Obrero, sought to impose a different interpretation of the atorrante. This article analyzes the way in wich the place occupied by the "without work" was considered from that publication -particularly those identified as atorrantes- in the Argentine social structure and the role they could play in a working class formation. The aim of the article is to analyse the use of marxist categories in order of resignify that stigmatized figure and include it in the worker's sector to which they aspired to represent. This allows us to reflect on some of the less studied forms adopted by the fight for the constitution of a worker identity in this embryonic stage. In particular, the dispute over the definition of workers' problems and the demarcation of the limits of the category of "worker" (and its reverse side).

:This paper analyses the tension produced by the encounter between constitutionalism and social protest, and how this tension appears upon problematizing the recent doctrine of social protest.
Authors acknowledge an irreducible distance between these two phenomenons, due to the fact that social protest exists outside of the borders of legal normativity, hence, the legal system appears insufficient to process social protest as a socio-political phenomenon. In order to illustrate this main argument, it will expose the frailty of free speech clause as a cornerstone for social protest, as well as the tensions between both the individual and collective elements that constitute acts of social protest.

:In this paper we analyse the first historiographic interventions made by the Revolutionary Communist Party between 1967 and 1987. We inquire into the interpretations of Argentinian History made by the party and its intellectuals linking them with their political and programmatic poses. We approach the question by breaking down what we consider to be the gates into the historiographic production: the history of the left, the agrarian question and the debate on the dominat mode of production in Latin America.

:In this paper we analyze the economic writings of Lenin from the 1890s and 1900s, with emphasis on The Development of Capitalism in Russia. The importance of these writings is that they form the basis of the Leninist approach to the national question. Here it will be stated that, although Lenin manages to refute the populist thesis of the impossibility of capitalism in Russia, he fails to complete an explanation of the particularities of capitalism in that country.

: In this theoric-reflexiv text, we will investigate critically some of the components that shaped the epistemic paradigm of European modernity, considering that quantification, mathematization and measurable objectivity are not only theoretical principles found in modern science, since they constituted something more: They were the elements through which a new worldview arose. With this, a new way of understanding and imagining nature was established; and also a new way of intervening and violating it. Some critical theories will be exposed, like the Amerindian perspectivism and the decoloniality, that have responded to this supposedly universal and homogeneous vision, concluding that despite the existence of world patterns of power and knowledge, alternatives for the wise and acting on the environment pass through decolonizing the Method of extracting resources; for which not only certain economic practices and some models of accumulation must be reversed, but in turn must neutralize the epistemic violence that justifies and protects such practices and models.

:The following work is an analytical effort that combines the debates about subaltern studies in Latin America, with the Mapuche historical situation from a milestone that "threatened" the Mapuche people since 1979 in Chile. Based on a reflection of double entry, we will delve into the elements that make up a picture of political violence in Araucanía from 1997 onwards. For this we link the discussion of subaltern studies with the recent Mapuche situation. We argue that colonialism creates racialized subaltern subjects, based on material conditions that allow this imperative to be installed with force. Thus violence becomes habitual, from a dominant / dominated logic; colonizer / colonized.
