  • Teaching corrected defects of adding, subtracting, multiplying, and
dividing integers by Creating Mathematical Conception

    • Authors: สมบัติ ท้ายเรือคำ, อพันตรี พูลพุทธา, สาวิตรี ราญมีชัย
      Pages: 1 - 10
Abstract: The important teaching and learning management is the foundation of higher
level mathematical knowledge. Ithelps learners to develop their full potential. But the
common problem intraditional and learning teaching is teaching as a teacher is anarrator
or explanation of knowledge alone and the content is highly abstract. Most students can
notapplyknowledgeto doexercisesor testcorrectly. Using knowledgeabout mathematical
conception, teachers will be able to provide concrete teaching and provide students
more knowledgeable in the content. It isnecessary for students tohaveknowledgeand
understanding about addition, subtraction, multiplication, division which is an important
foundationin Mathematics matter. And apply tosolve problems in daily lifeof the students
themselves. The development of mathematical concepts consists of: 1) the creation of
      mathematicalconceptionof perceptionthroughthefivesenses.2)Thecreationofamathematical
conception of the perception of the effect of action on objects through the five senses.
Consider the relationship between the effect of the arrangement on the object and the
symbol that represents the result. 3) Construct a mathematical conception from the use
of insight, by creating an idea of one or another. 2 or 3 may be used together.

    • Authors: จิรัญญา ไชยโย
      Pages: 23 - 40
Abstract: This experimental research aims to 1) develop creative thinking in science of
Matthayomsuksa3 students throughan inquiry approach, 2) examine science learning
achievement before and after the instruction using an inquiry approach, 3) investigate
the student satisfaction towards the instruction using an inquiry approach. Samples
inthis research were 39 Matthayomsuksa 3 students from MatthayomWatsing School,
studying in the second semester of academic year 2018. Samples were selected by a
purposive sampling method. The results revealed that 1) creative thinking scores of
37 students, accounting for 94.87,passed the criteria scores at 80%, but scores of 2
students(5.12%) did not pass the set criteria, 2)students’posttestaverage scores were
significantly higher than their pretest average scores at the .05 level, 3) the overall
satisfaction towards the instruction using an inquiry approach was at a high level.

    • Authors: จุฬาลักษณ์ เชื้อเงิน
      Pages: 41 - 56
Abstract:           The purposes of this research were 1) to compare mathematics learning achievement about "addition and subtraction of numbers with results and not more than 10" of Prathomsuksa 1 students after using an open approach with Badham’s question technique with the criterion at 70 percent 2) to compare a mathematical problem solving ability about "addition and subtraction of numbers with results and not more than 10" of Prathomsuksa 1 students after using the open approach with Badham’s question technique with the criterion at 70 percent. The samples for this research consisted of 35 Prathomsuksa 1 students in the first semester of the 2018 academic year at Anubanmuangmaichonburi School. The Participants were selected by the use of cluster random sampling. Instruments were : 1) lesson plans of mathematics using the open approach with Badham’s question technique, 2) mathematics learning achievement tests about “addition and subtraction of numbers with results and not more than 10”. The difficulty score was between 0.39-0.67, and the item discrimination power was between 0.67-1.00, reliability 0.97 and 3) mathematical problem solving ability  tests which resulted difficulty 0.69 and 0.70, discrimination 0.38 and 0.41, reliability 0.99. The statistics used in data analysis included Mean, Standard Deviation, and t-test for one sample. The findings were as follows :           1. The mathematical learning achievement about "addition and subtraction of numbers with results and not more than 10" of Prathomsuksa 1 students after using the open approach with Badham’s question technique was higher than the 70 percent criterion of .05 level of significance.           2. The mathematical problem solving ability about "addition and subtraction of numbers with results and not more than 10" of Prathomsuksa 1 students after using the open approach with Badham’s question technique was higher than the 70 percent criterion. The level of significance was .05
