Abstract: THE PRODUCTION OF THE INDEBTED TEACHER IN THE SPEECHES OF THE PROGRAM: EDUCATION - NEW DIRECTIONSResumo: A aprovação da recente reforma do ensino médio contou com o apoio decisivo das diferentes mídias ao colocarem em circulação o discurso da decadência da educação secundária no Brasil ao mesmo tempo em que produziram o “novo ensino médio” como a solução para o futuro da educação nacional.

Abstract: CAPE VERDEAN POETRY AT THE TURNING OF THE MILLENIUMResumo: A presente escritura, num voo rápido e atento, sobrevoa a poesia caboverdiana, na intenção de observar e comentar alguns aspectos modernos e pós-modernos em seus poemas e poetas do período Pós-claridoso (Universalismo e Consolidação), que a colocam na cena das produções contemporâneas em língua portuguesa das ex-colônias lusitanas.

:The present writing, in a fast and alert flight, overflies the Cape Verdean poetry, aiming at observing and commenting upon a few modern and post-modern features in its poems and post-Claridoso (Universalism and Consolidation) that put in scene the contemporary productions in Portuguese language of the former Portuguese colonies. The overflight also equally intends to establish a parallel between Brazilian and Cape Verdean poetry, in the sense of observing influences and confluences of both poetic cultures. The poems chosen were intentionally drawn from poetic anthologies and literary magazines, for a deep dive into the present creative diversity of the people of the isle. The works that give support the approach, included in the bibliographic references, reflect upon the poetic doing and thinking in the intersection of the millenniums and are tools both for contemporary theory and literary critic, proper to the nature of the present writing. In common, they have the focus directed towards modernism and post-modernism, considering them reciprocal extension and continuity. The point of view chosen has to do with methodologies that update the view of the researcher, concerning the different interfaces of poetic communication, and prepare it to the dialogue with the chosen poems.

Abstract: WHO CHOOSE WHAT TO READ IN SCHOOL' REFLECTING ON ETHNIC-RACIAL DIVERSITY IN CHILDREN AND YOUTH LITERATURE.Resumo:Sob a égide da escolarização da literatura é que este artigo discute os limites envolvendo o acesso, leitura e variedade temática dos livros disponibilizados às crianças, seja em sala de aula ou nas bibliotecas das escolas.

:Under the aegis of literature schooling, this article discusses the limits of access, reading and thematic variety of books available to children, whether in the classroom or in school libraries. The thematic variety that is claimed here is directly related to the ethnic-racial diversity that compose or should compose the literary collections of the schools. What do children read' Or, reformulating the question: what are they offered for children to read in schools' To answer these and other questions, in this text will be presented results of two studies developed in the municipal school libraries of the city of Curitiba and specifically in three classes of 3rd and 4th grade. Articulated to theoretical references in the area of Children’s Literature and racial relations, it was possible to identify an inadequate process of schooling of literature and the marked presence of the adultcentrism, establishing restricted access to books with literary quality and also strengthening crystallized models of culture, aesthetics and history Humanity, based on Eurocentric values.

Abstract: IDEOLOGICAL AND HISTORIOGRAPHIC APPROACHES ABOUT THE BLACK IN THE PARADIDATIONAL AND DIDACTIC.Resumo: Um dos propósitos deste artigo é o de incentivar leitores/graduandos(as) a lerem melhor compreender os discursos verbais e iconográficos sobre enfoques acerca da história do negro em livros paradidáticos e didáticos, contribuindo para releitura dessa história.
Palavras-chaves: Representação, histórica do negro. Escravismo. Livro didático.

: One of the purposes of this article is to encourage readers to read and understand verbal and iconographic discourses about the history of the Negro in paraphrased and didactic books, contributing to re-reading this story. The discussion is permeated by allusions to the promulgation of the Constitution of 1988, which contains articles on citizenship and its practice in Brazil, the Law of Guidelines and Bases of 1996, which regulates basic education, by National Curricular Parameters - PCN, directives elaborated by the Government Federal Law that guide education, and Law 10.639 of 2003, which established the obligation to teach the history of Africa and Afro-Brazilian culture in basic school. From these documents, readers and graduates are encouraged to read paraphrased and didactic texts in the light of new theoretical-historiographic references and research on the presence of the black in Brazilian society. This study seeks to sensitize the readership to readings of the theme in another way that can clarify and interpret the presence of the Negro as one of the formative matrices of Brazilian culture.

Abstract: OCEAN BUILDERS: INTERACTIONS BETWEEN ECOLOGY AND AESTHETICS IN SÃO VICENTE ISLAND IN CAPE VERDEResumo:Entrevista concedida por David Leone Lima Monteiro, em janeiro de 2016, na Ilha de São Vicente, Cabo Verde. Interview grated by David Leone Lima Monteiro, in January, 2016, at São Vicente Island, Cape Verde.
