  • MEMBANGUN KARAKTER PESERTA DIDIK MI/SD MELALUI MEDIA KOMIK PEMBELAJARAN

      Abstract: Problems of students’ character are currently the main focus in the education realm. The role of the family, teachers, and the society is critical in shaping the character of children.
      The weakness of character-based learning in an educational institution has been the key factor on the problem of student characters. The teacher in the learning process is often less
      inovative and creative in designing the learning process, especially in terms of learning media design. Comic is one of media that can help students and can replace the position of teachers in learning activities both inside and outside the classroom. Comic can be used in a two-way learning process, namely as a teaching tool and as a medium for shaping the character of the students. Based on observation field, it is known that in the process of learning, comic as instructional medium has never been utilized. Therefore, the presence of learning media in the form of comics is expected to assist the teacher in the learning process and helps in forming the character of students. Comic languages using polite language are expected to avoid impolite languages and not in accordance with the objectives of education character. This also inspires the use of instructional media comic contents of learning materials in elementary school. Comics as a medium of learning is able to build the foundations of character for learners and are ultimately capable of constructing human characters that are intact and resilient.

      Abstract: Creative learning is learning that rests on four fundamental base, namely fun children learning design; learning to obtain more good values, but it is directed to produce learning products: intellectual works, creative performance, and educational activities; learning that is always appreciated by the teacher in the form of the value and the publication; and learning that can improve the child's motivation to learn. With four foundations above, this creative learning can create intelligent children. They are the children who are able to resolve the issue of learning in accordance with the breadth of his knowledge; a creative child, the child can actualize ideas, concepts, and feelings in concrete; and children who have personality and good character in their daily lives.

      Abstract: Inclusion education is an educational concept that does not distinguish the background of a child's life just because of physical and mental limitations. This education is intended for children with special needs to be able to hone their talents and motivations since few of them experience problems in receiving and processing the information around them. Generally, the problem is known as specific learning difficulties (learning disabilities) which is a disorder in one or more of the basic psychological processes covering the understanding and the use of spoken or written language. The department of elementary madrasah teacher education of Islamic education faculty of Muhammadiyah Magelang University (PGMI FAI UMMagelang) is trying to formulate Scientific Vision which is manifested as an explanation in the vision of department which means “Excellence in Inclusive Education.”Keywords: superior inclusion, scientific vision, Islamic elementary teacher education of FAI UMMagelang

      Abstract: Student learning is closely related to the environment or atmosphere in which the process was ongoing. The joyful atmosphere brings excitement in learning. In contrast, tense, drab and less attractive atmosphere influences the student interest and enthusiasm. Teachers as the most responsible one for the classroom learning management are obliged to create a learning atmosphere that is convenient and fun for the children because the comfortable and enjoyable (conducive) classroom climate can enable them to transform interpersonal relationships so as to become a learning community that is productive and mutual respect, so enabling an effective learning interaction in nurturing the development of children or learners. Starting from this, the better classroom climate that is built, the better conditions of learning because only the conducive learning classroom atmosphere that is quiet, comfortable, fun, and full of significance can be realized.

      Abstract: “Singir mitera sejati” and “ngudi susila” are a literary work that shaped “nadhom” poetically by following the rules of science of arudl. In addition there is an aesthetic and educational value. “Singir” can serve as a medium of education and learning resources. Because “singir” store “adhiluhung” value which can be utilized appropriately, particularly in the study of literature in the school or boarding school. This research aims to reveal the aesthetic and educational value. Substantially, this research describes about three things, namely (1) aesthetic value that includes, (a) the aesthetics of form, and (b) the aesthetic contents. (2) the value of moral education that includes (a) the value of moral education which clarifies the relationship of human with God, (b) the relationship of human with human, (c) man human with themself and (d) the human with the environment or nature.
